Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
The Morning Shown. Welcome to the fifty Minute Morning Show podcast. Wow,
we're kind of snaggletoothed today. We're missing Gandhi, she's out sick.
We're missing Danielle because she's getting on a plane to
fly home.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
So it's just the Boys, the Beasts.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
That's right, It's the Boys, the Boys, the Beast System Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
We're here with Scotti B in the other room. Right,
we're here with Scarry what up? And we're here with Garrett,
and we're here with Nate and me.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
We could talk about man things.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Let's see where this goes.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Well, can we.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Continue talking about something that we touched on during the show.
What's that that email that I got again?

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Yeah, I'm going.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
To read it to you because it's you have got
here into this situation because you're too frivolous in relation
to the safety of your device. The whole contact list
from your email will get the compromising information with your
heinous interests. That is what I can guarantee. What to
do is your choice over here at incertain Link. I

(01:19):
believe three hundred and thirty four dollars is fair for
you and forty eight h and must be forty eight
hours and more than sufficient for that. Take the chance
and fix the problem with less bloodshed. Well, I can't
condemn humans who are addicted to their weaknesses. You have
certainly stunned me by your jerking, which I witnessed via
your web camera. So apparently I got to click this

(01:41):
link and pay this person three hundred and thirty four dollars.
Or are they're going to send a video of me
touching myself to everybody in my contact list? It's bullshit,
but I guarantee somebody clicks on it.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
First of all, all of us in your contact list
already have nude photos of your touch on yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
I gotta tell you something.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
Ever since I got that same email, I pull a
little post it over my camera.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
Now do you really it's bullshit?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
How come you guys think there's an ounce of reality
going on here?

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Can I come to the table? Three years ago, when
that was not a.

Speaker 6 (02:12):
Known email scam and it was the first of its kind,
I received pretty much that same one with similar language.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I secretly went into.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
The engineer's office, Josh Hadden, and you know, he's like,
you know, big tech guy here, and I'm like, dude,
what's going on?

Speaker 4 (02:28):
He goes, well, have you ever done any of those things.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
In front of a camera?

Speaker 4 (02:31):
And I said no.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
I said, but but but what if they do have
an open line into my living room camera where I
do my podcasts and I talk shit and things.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Are you know there are things that I talk about
on a camera. You've done it. I've never done anything
in front of a camera.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
No.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
But the thing is, it's just freaking crazy to me.
And I was believing it.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Yes, I'm a sucker, and I was to stop falling
for these things.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
It's a scam. Was there a scam?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Now?

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Scams are rolling through every single day.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
What makes me sad is, for instance, Uncle Johnny, they
got to him. He ended up giving his address and
his Social Security number.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
To hear, like, Johnny, don't do that.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Just yesterday, my dad came to me and he said,
hey 'all, can you get on my Facebook page? And
I said, well, yeah, you know, just open it up
and look at it. He's like, because my cousin and
two other people called me to see if I was okay,
did you post something? I'm like no, And I went
to his thing and it's like, oh, someone you knew
just died in a car accident.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
You know.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
It was that thing where you click on the link
and whatever, and so someone posted on his page and
tagged him that he was in a terrible car accident
and they wanted money, you know. So everyone's asking him
if he's okay. He's like, do I click it? Like, no,
just don't click anything.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Sometimes they do come across as being very believable. Oh,
they're getting more clever by the day, and so.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
You know, but Nate, do you think you're worth three
hundred and twenty four.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Dollars and thirty four?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I've gotten this is I've gotten several. I actually got
the same exact one Scotty did one time, and I
think it was eight hundred. I think that one was
eight hundred.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Prices going down.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, whatever's reasonable quality of production. No, I'm I'm not
worth any of that. I think it's just such a
shame that people like you said I was, wake up
and they start their days thinking that's their day. How
can I how can I screw with people and steal money?

Speaker 2 (04:18):
That's their day because they can get away with it,
because there are people who are gullible.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Look, you know what, Every once in a while I'll.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Get a text from my bank where it looks like
my bank and it looks real.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I don't believe any of them. Hm. Unless I get.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
An email from my bank and I can go onto
my app and see a message to me from my bank,
I'll even then still call my bank. I'll never ever
try to correct anything by clicking on anything, because it's
all a bunch of fucking lie.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
The other thing I'm scared of, now, have you gotten
the fake PayPal or yay text? So they'll use like
seven three nine nine two seven, like the text number
that you get in your text, but the actual eBay
number is seven three nine two seven, So there like
cop basically using the same number, so it looks legit, right,

(05:05):
and it just at some point I know I'm going
to fall for it. And you know another one.

Speaker 5 (05:10):
That I just heard they should be careful about is
I forget where I heard it. But if you ever
check into a hotel and the front desk calls you
and says, yeah, the credit card didn't go through what
was the last four digits whatever, Because anybody can just
call the hotel ask for from one seventy two and
hope for the best. Yeah, you know, so you got
to be really careful if you're in a hotel and
someone calls and asks for information.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
So it's endless. The list is endless. That's the ways
they can scam us or try to scam us. Just
do everything you can to stay on top of it. Ew,
this is an awful conversation.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
We need to have it.

Speaker 6 (05:43):
Yes, you know, a good way of fighting it, I'll
say say this is if you get one of those
like what Nate got, just copy and paste that text
into a Google search. Hit search and you'll see the
thousands and thousands of people that got that same scam letter.
So yeah, just put it into a Google search and
you'll know that it's a scam.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Well, the other warning I want to put out there
too is, you know, by copying and pasting something on
social media, saying that you are giving the right not
to use your likeness and image doesn't make it a
legal thing that people post online. All my parents and
their friends post that like that copy and paste thing
of like by me saying this, I do not give
my rights to Facebook and Instagram to use my life. Please,

(06:24):
those are waste of space. That doesn't work. It doesn't
work like that.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Yeah, And also, could I just tell our listeners that
are listening to this if you get a friend request
or some money request from my face with the name
Austin Moore or Scott Williams, not me. I can't tell
you how many listeners have direct messaged me over the
last two weeks saying, hey, is this you?

Speaker 3 (06:45):
What do you need this money for?

Speaker 5 (06:46):
I'm like, dude, it's not me, but there are so
many scam pages of mine on Instagram and Facebook now
and TikTok and plenty of fish. I get emails from
everybody on every freaking platform with my pitch.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Is that happening?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Why?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Why are you?

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Why have you been targeted more than any of the
rest of it.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
I have no idea, face, I guess are my pictures
on the dark web? I mean, I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
I don't know. It must be they must have just
a cash of your photo.

Speaker 5 (07:13):
It's all my Instagram pictures, so no matter what platform
it's on, it's all my pictures from you.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Click that link one day and that's what happened.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
Listener hit me up and said, hey, did does Elvis
Duran ever go into people's DMS asking them for money?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
And I'm like no, I'm like, are you true?

Speaker 2 (07:27):
No, it's not true. All the time, I'm always asking
listeners for money. That is, by the way, that is
not a scam. I'm definitely looking for cat.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
But with Scotty's case, I was talking to Tony, who
works in our digital department. Scotty's account is talked about
amongst the entire company because he's the most scammed person
in the iHeart family.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
It's your got to be number oneted something.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
You're sexy, that's why.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Yes, sure, hey, can we get back to how porn
is ruining our lives? I thought this was fascinating. We
actually got into a little bit of a conversation about this,
and uh, where am I?

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Look at?

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Where am I?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Right there?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
I'm up there? Okay, I took the red dot, the
red dot. Look, look look at you.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
She's gonna override it.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Oh okay, Hi.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
The thought is through well many psychologists' minds anyway. They
think that watching porn is desensitizing us to what intimacy
is all about.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Therefore it's bad for you.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
They're saying it.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
First of all, it can be addictive, and it can
actually replace your relationships with real people by watching actors
get it on on on screen. So have you guys
thought about this. I really see the validity behind what
they're saying.

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Yeah, yeah, I've thought about it.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
I've had friends who who were addicted and they had
to go to rehab because of pornography, because of porn,
and and because what it did was then turn their relateationships,
they would go to strip clubs after that, because the
porn could only take them so far per se, they
had to go to strip clubs and from there then
they had to try to start dating strippers, and it
became a big thing, like just an avalanche of things

(09:14):
after that because of porn. I had two friends that
have and at first it kind of is like a
joke amongst us, but then we realized how serious it was.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I can see how help people would think it's serious. Look,
you know, if you are in a relationship where your
level of intimacy isn't where you want it to be,
rather than fixing it, just go to porn and you're like, Okay,
I feel better now, all right.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
It's a band aid.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
It's a quick fix, so it's just something to think about.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
But yeah, they're saying, if you want to live a
better life, give up alcohol, give up drugs, and give
up porn.

Speaker 1 (09:44):
So it's left nothing.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
There's nothing left no really, I mean no vice. Really,
you know those are like the big three alcohol, drugs,
and por exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Well, porn is actually taking the place of something that is.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
Not a vice that it can be advised.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
I will say though, early on, porn taught me things
like like when I was growing up, I'm like, oh, okay,
that's an interesting one. Okay, maybe I'll try that someday
and maybe I'll do that whatever the problem though, and
I'm not gonna do that or that. So yeah, so
I mean, to me it was an educational thing, was that.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
But that's the problem though. People watch porn and go, oh,
I'm gonna try that, and then it's like that's not
real though, that's not the reality of it though that
people have this idea. It's like I'm gonna be this
porn star. I'm gonna try what this person did, are
what I saw, But in reality, it doesn't work like that.
And then you have that when you do come to
actually having sex with someone. It doesn't happen because it's
not true, it's not real, or it feels kind of awkward. Yeah,

(10:42):
and then you feel let down, like oh oh, well,
and you're in the middle of having sex and you're like, well.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Obviously scary has different results. Well not the things you've
learned off porn through the years. Have they all paid
off in spades?

Speaker 3 (10:52):
No?

Speaker 4 (10:52):
They have not.

Speaker 6 (10:53):
Okay, some of them I've learned are done just for
the camera angle, and there's no camera involved when you're
with somebody.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Yeah, sometimes you try that thing. Yeah, it's painful.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
I tried that one thing that one time.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
Yeah, it ain't noble nobody. You're like, how did people
enjoy this?

Speaker 4 (11:07):
This is just set up for the cameras.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
I had a girlfriend many, many years ago. We were
on vacation and we were watching an adult movie and
we're like, you know what, let's do everything they do
as they're doing.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
It, and how did that work out for It did not?

Speaker 5 (11:21):
We didn't.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
It did not. I had blue balls and we went
to sleep.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
Are we done?

Speaker 2 (11:28):
Hey, have a great day, Thanks for watching. On that note,
we're gonna just leave it right there.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Put a pin in it. And we'll be.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Let's try this again tomorrow Danielle and hopefully Gandhi.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
In the studio.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
All right, Bye bye
