Speaker 1 (00:00):
Guess what we gave the in terms of podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Wait, we did?
Speaker 3 (00:04):
What?
Speaker 4 (00:05):
Whose idea was this?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
The d clan? Hi, I'm Dylan, I'm Ben, I'm Stephanie,
I'm Lannie. And where the clan? I missed? I missed
this room. I'm glad we're back. Yeah, we're here.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
I'm glad we're back in our prime studio the first.
Speaker 5 (00:23):
Time I do have something that goes with our normal
conversations of talk about reality TV love.
Speaker 4 (00:31):
So I know Traders ended.
Speaker 5 (00:33):
It did ended on my birthday, but I was like,
you know, we talked so much about it that I
really wanted to kind of dove a little bit into it.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
So I didn't watch the show. Did not do that.
Speaker 5 (00:42):
But what I did do is I asked chat GVT,
give me to drop ten moments from this show. Oh
my god, and I want to see for Stefan Ben
if this actually makes sense or if they are a
little bit too out there. I'm sorry, Leilani, I've joined
the dark side.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Here I said here and be like that was actually
a terrible moment that never happened. What do you mean?
Speaker 5 (01:05):
So when I asked them for the top ten moments,
the number one it said was daniel Rayes's shocking betrayal.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
No, yeamn, okay, that was quick.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Wait you didn't think that that was tea?
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Well, no, it's tea. It's just anything with Danielle is
not my top moment. Yeah, even if it's bad. Like
I like Boston Robin Gabby moments way more than her moments.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, I mean when she got under the table, it
was funny, that was crazy. That was one of my
top ten moments. Was when Danielle knew that Carolyn was
a trader yet she cried under the table in shock.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Yeah, that's probably on there, but I felt like the
other eight are all Gabby moments.
Speaker 5 (01:41):
Well, to be fair, some of these aren't really fully moments.
It's more so just what CHATGBT was.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
A little fitique with you, Okay, keep going.
Speaker 5 (01:48):
Like for number two, it's the emergence of Gabby Wendy
as a fan favorite. Just talking about her becoming overall
a fan favorite throughout the show.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, which I was talking to Dana about this today.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
I hated Gabby at the beginning because she just seemed
like a dumb blonde like playing into that. I'm like,
I know you're smart, just like get into that, and
then finally by like halfway through the season, I was like.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Wait, I love her.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
I loved her from the start. I thought she was fierce.
She is, she's great, Leilani and any any notes she's.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Fierce, yes, okay.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Number three was the formation of the Queer Girl squad.
I don't know about that thing.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
That's not a thing. No, there's queer girl.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
The alliance between Kryshelle Stous, Gabby Windy and Caroline.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
Is that something that did not happen? I think, oh,
thank you, CHAGGYBT. But did I don't but did.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
They like coin that term or like coin that name
right here? Queer girl?
Speaker 1 (02:44):
It is in all bold from right off JADGBT? What yeah, JADGBT,
I don't remember.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
What about the Bambis, like that's high on the Bambies.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
That there's nothing mentioned about that. I think CHAGGYBT just
he's given out names here. Hello, So I w'ld say
the formation of the Vanbies then, because that exactly. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Number four was host Alan Cummings style in Presence, which.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Is always every season.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Okay, honestly, that was one.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
I was like, that seems a little odd for a moment,
but okay, duly noted the final four Faithful's victory. I
guess we're eliminating traders and all that.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yeah, sorry spoiler alerts, but you should have seen it already.
This is coming out like a month.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
So who was at number six, Brittany Haynes Isolation and Downfall.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
She was like so relevant she was and she was
so relevant I'm Big Brother. Yeah, Unfortunately, I feel like
she lost her Like.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I don't think she did.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
I think she needs to be in a different spotlight
on a different show.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
But like on Big Brother, her confessionals were always like
so good, so good. She was like she was just major,
and then on this show she literally faded into the
background the hole.
Speaker 3 (03:53):
Yeah, I heard it's because the producers didn't like that
she was only talking about her family and they wanted
more strategy.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
I agree.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Yeah. Number seven was the intense roundtable discussions.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Of course, but like that's the specific exactly.
Speaker 5 (04:09):
Yeah, I guess, said chett ebt here because it goes
and follows that up with number eight the murder twists
and its impact, which I know there was quite a
few murders.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Like the coffin or no, just like the murders in general.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Well, the murders in generally feel like aren't a twist,
So yeah, they're not.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
It's probably the Coffins.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, it just says traders or when they did it
in person, that's true.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
I think the Coffins was like crazy.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah, it all says that the trader's ability to secretly
eliminate contestants added a unique twist to a game. It's
generally yeah, basically all the last work on of that
because number nine is the emotion, the emotional reunion special.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
No, I couldn't get through the reunion.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Why I'm just not a reunion girl unless it's Ultimatum
Queer Love?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Oh have you seen that? Has anyone seen that? I
haven't seen it, but I know that like the memes
of it.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Oh, I I've watched it five times because I watch
it with friends that I get like to watch it
with me. I'm like please, like you have to watch it.
It's culture, Like, please get on it. So can we
all do like an ultimatum queer love outing?
Speaker 2 (05:12):
But you want to take us to like Stonewall, Like
what's a queer love outing? Like we just need to
watch it together. Oh, let's set up, but we'll do
watch parties on the next episode, We'll just set up
a TV immediately.
Speaker 4 (05:23):
Way, I'll watch these.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
It's like one of my favorite seasons of reality TV ever.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
Interesting.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, and they're filming or I think they might be
done filming now for the next season.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Maybe maybe you have to do to watch parties then. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
The last one was Gabby Wendy's heartfelt confession. I don't
I don't know much about that, but.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
It was the heartful confession that she's getting married.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Or no, but no, I think they mean like confessional.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
Well it's kind of beat I think because it says
in a touching moment, Gabby revealed that she intended to
use her winnings to feel financially secure enough to marry
comedian Robbie Hoffman had a personal touch to her competitive journey.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, it was great.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
She was awesome. Seriously.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
Yeah, So those are the top ten Traders moments according
to Chad GVT. Do you think Chad GVT actually did
a solid job work?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
No?
Speaker 1 (06:11):
No, that was wow.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
That was real.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
That was a really good segment though, I'm goling.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
No, I love that, Like, thank you for bringing that here.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
I need to get in on these reality conversations. When
I can and you know that, this was like the
light bulb went off. I was like, you know, I
got my d I'm sorry, Leilani.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Next no, I'm the I'm going to be like the
like the the two muppet guys in the corner who's like,
it's just bad. You know, what are you looking for
in a reality TV show? What would you want to say? Okay,
here's my thing. Like everyone I know watches a lot
of TV. I just I have a hard time watching TV.
Like I just I think it's episodes. I can like
(06:47):
only sit down for so long. Okay, So like, are
you like a YouTube girl? No? I like TikTok and
then I read Okay, I sound like a like a
meditation guru when I when I say that. But I'm like,
I just I wish TV were my thing. I I
can watch TV in like it's like one season of
(07:07):
a show a month, you know, Like I'm like on
Yellow Jackets, and once that's over, I'll like pick a
new thing, you know.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
Okay, Okay, I feel you about the TV stuff though,
because like I hate sitting down and doing like just
watching TV because I feel like I could be doing
something at that moment. Like I do a lot of
stop motion work, so it's like, oh, I can film
this or I can go, you know, just work on
editing stuff. Yeah, and then I'll just be like yeah,
but I get sucked into like the six hours Binge
watched sometimes, but I.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Think it's just like I don't well, I also I wish,
I wish I had a TV. I watched TV on
the laptop. Same, yeah, so if like I had a TV,
I'd probably watch a lot of TV. Because I'm like
watching TV on the laptop. I'm like, this is a
YouTube video, and I now like feel like I'm in school,
you know, Yeah, what reality TV show would you guys
recommend me?
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Well, you so you don't watch TV.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
So yeah, like damn, although maybe we could ease you
in one of those like really niche YouTube series created
by like like Barstool, Like they did like this reality
show where like influencers come or like want to be
influencers come together in a house and it's like Big
Brother style. Okay, but it's like people you don't know
because they're new, but like it's kind of funny and
(08:16):
it's on YouTube, so it's like shorter segments.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Okay, Well, actually Okay, maybe I like a little you
know those like TikTok pages that take like svu and
like chop them into like one minute long tiktoks. I
do watch those, okay, okay, not even intentionally too, I'm
just like, well, now I got to know what happened
to this poor girl? Why is there like a tampon
stuck in her? Like I gotta finish this.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah, yeah, I feel like everybody should get into drag Race.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
I had my drag Race era, and I fear it's
just on no streaming platforms that I just don't I
can't watch it anymore.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Don't get me started, Leilani, don't let me started.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
So what do you watch it on.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
YouTube?
Speaker 2 (08:58):
TV?
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
We gotta get a sponsorship at this point.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
No, we should, or honestly, I think it's crazy that
this is like it's one of like the biggest like shows,
especially for like queer media. No, well, yes, and even
just as like reality competition shows go like it's it's
pretty up there.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
RuPaul has won what is it the Emmy? Yes, so
many times, like every year.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
But you can't watch it unless you have cable or
like an equivalent alternative.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah. Well, it's because they know that gabeople will seek
it out, like they'll buy a like a cable box
to watch.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
It, but they don't they go to the bar and
watch it.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
I you know, I think that would be fun. Actually,
I think I talked to Josh about how he does
that with drag Race. M hmmm, am I allowed to
Is that relevant enough to bring up? Well, Josh hate me?
Does anyone listen to this? Will Josh listen to this?
Speaker 3 (09:52):
No?
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Well, I was told that he goes to watch drag
Race in the bar. Okay, Like we're going with him
next time. I'll go, are you watching this season? I've
only heard terrible things like people are like this is
a bad season.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Oh, I think it's great.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Really yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
I mean some of these queens are so like whack
like whack Tina, but some of them are really good.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
I think it's My thing is like drag Race is
becoming like Survivor where people are all just like it's
like it's no longer like we're playing Survivor and like
I'm a human being. It's like I've been It's like
the Hunger Games, Like I've been training my entire life
for this, Like I can sew, I can sing and
I'm good TV, and I came in like a prodigy
of drag.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
That is the thing is people now come on to
Drag Race with like an entire catalog of like mm
hmm outfits that they like seeked out designers for, or
like treads from previous seasons made, or yeah, like it's it's.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
It's expensive now, Yeah everyone's too rich.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Well and then if you're not, then like, yeah, you're
working that much harder to keep up. And if you're
like fat, isn't at the level of everybody else, you
like stick out so much. So like one of my
favorite queens, Corey Kan just went home sadly, but she
like clearly on the runway was not at the level
(11:14):
of like style that everyone else was at.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Is this a queen with the cute like little lip
like shape, like the one who looks like kind of
like Betty Boop.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
No, that's susy too. I can't fucking stand. But but
Corey King is dominating it in like the social space
because her personality is just like out of this world.
But to be like a winner on the show, now,
like you can't just be entertaining like you have to
have that whole thing.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Also, like what happened to the rule of like two suitcases,
Like apparently used to only bring like two suitcase like
suitcases for the entire season, but now these queens will
like whip shit out where. I'm like, that's a suitcase
on its own. Did you like freeze was a shrink
wrap that?
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Like, yeah, it's crazy. Well you said you used to
watch how they used to do like the roast challenges. Yeah,
so they just did one and one queen stole someone
else's jokes. Oh and it was crazy and she went home.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
So oh, okay, is that Corey? No, this is a
different queen Queen. I think the last season I watched
was Sasha Colby season, and like the half Sasha Colby
is actually like my favorite human being on the planet.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
I'm like dying to see her live.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
I know, is she's coming to New York at some point.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
She's everywhere all the time.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
She's gorgeous.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
She was on Fire Island over the summer.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
What just like for funzies or to like promote.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
She was like performing hanging out. My friend got a
picture with her, like multiple times. I was like, are
you fucking serious?
Speaker 2 (12:41):
I love Sasha Colby. Well, I like, I watched half
of the season where the Banana Girl won Naphia Winn.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
I loved her.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
I clocked it the second she walked in the workroom.
I talked to my mom, I said, she's winning.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Well, that was the thing I stopped watching that season
because I was like, I'm going to become like a
drag race like person now. But like I was just like,
none of these ueans are like wowing me except Nymphia,
and that makes me like feel like bored because now
I feel like Nymphia is just going to be the
easy win. And then she was easy win.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Well, a lot of people thought Sophora was gonna win.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Which one was? Was that the opera one? Mm hmm
hmmm mm yeah. I had to drop off after that
breastplate was too small. I was like, no way, You've
been walking around like breastplates are too expensive for you
to have bought that and then worn it in the
gig and for no one to have told you anything
until now. That was like your boobs start here, Like yeah, queen. Anyway,
(13:33):
I loved playing Jane so the one who was like
a bitch, But isn't she the one who was a
bitch Chapelone on Twitter hopefully. Well she was like she
was like, Chaperone's not doing real drag and I'm sick
of like like like women trying to like steal, like
steal queer culture or whatever.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
I wasn't hip to this, but I love her. I
think she's so funny.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Is that burger fingers?
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yes, she's she's sisters with Corey King. They're both from Boston. Oh,
I see, and Plane Jane came in for the roast.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Well, that's okay. That's another thing. It's like the Survivor thing.
You come in and you're like, I'm actually just gonna
be a bitch and they're gonna keep me wrong because
I'm good TV. Like, I'm sure Plane Jane is like
a lovely human being out and about, but she was
just like Cayman swinging because she was like, this is
how I'm gonna stick around.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Like that's yeah, sorry, we'll move on.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
Hey, you guys watch Drag Race.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Nope, I see all the ads.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
I feel like the drag queens.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Yeah, you know Bob now and people want Monette on
next season.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
So oh that'd be good.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
Yeah, I'm not with the.
Speaker 5 (15:01):
I'm like your knowledge of being able to like pick
off like the smallest detail and remember like exact name
or like where the show, Like I gotta give you
credit that is.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
Okay, wall I actually have a good topic too, get
into first impressions of each other.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Oh and these were like low key on air too,
because we all like met and then like an hour
later we were on air. That's so true.
Speaker 1 (15:26):
Dylan hit up, well you put me on this spot
like that, okay, okay, I I.
Speaker 5 (15:33):
Honestly can't remember if I had really first impression. Like
when it came to it, I was like, okay, so
these are the other interns is really cool. Like I
think what I was trying to get to understand was okay,
what does each one do?
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Because they would didn't really tell me anything about mine.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
You're like you're a floating intern who gets to do whatever.
So like when I was leaving that first day, I
was like, Okay, what am I doing wrong that like
all the other interns are here.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
But like Leanne, I thought you were really cool.
Speaker 5 (15:57):
I really liked all the music stuff I never played,
Like I don't know when you're also hearing that, like hey,
the segment or You've done was also featured on Elvis before.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
I thought that was really sick. Yeah, Stef, I won't lie.
I thought you were like really good at your job,
so and really cool.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
Not saying you're not because you are really good, but
I didn't want to make sure that did not get
messed up. But I was like, Okay, she's been here
twice before, she's got to be really good at herself,
and so far you you like you were helping me
out that first day of just learning and doing all that.
So I appreciated all the help and thought you were
really nice, but I was definitely a little intimidately like,
oh shit, she's been here before, like she knows her shit.
(16:33):
And then I and I learned that about you after
the factor for the promotions team.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
I was like, ah, Ben knows this stuff.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
But I was saying, Ben, I feel like for this show,
I feel like your social mind works so perfectly with that,
like you know how to match the theme of.
Speaker 5 (16:46):
This show very well. So I was like, all right,
Ben's a great social guy. Because when I first heard
I wasn't doing much social because that was where I
was like trying to get into it.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
I was like Damn. I just kind of sucked.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
But and I hear your ideas, I'm like, okay, shit,
they got like the right guy for it.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Is doing great shit.
Speaker 5 (17:00):
So yeah, honestly I enjoyed all meeting all you guys,
but I didn't really have like, oh, you know, I
gotta I gotta watch how we're like, oh this person's wait,
Like I didn't know how any crazy first impressions. Just
know everyone was really nice. I'm gonna put someone else
own then, Ben, how about how about you?
Speaker 1 (17:17):
Okay, I'm trying to think back because I like can
so like vividly see each of us sitting in that
chair on air. And I went first on the on
air segment, and I was like, fucking kiddang. But then
I was like really intently locked into when everyone else
was on.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
You.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I was like, he knows his shit, like cause you
were like my dad does this, I've done this, YadA
YadA yah, And I was like, Okay, he's he knows
what's going on. I just like knew that you like
have like the mind, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
Leilani All, I remember Jimmy Fallon.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
Oh see, okay, here's my thing is like, I don't
even think I told anyone about that in my applic
I was on Jimmy Fallon. I was on I was
on the Battle of the Instant Songwriters at Jimmy Fallon
segment where he pulls in an audience member and they
have thirty minutes to write a song, and I, I
don't know. That was like my fun fact for a while.
(18:14):
I did that over the summer and I have no
idea how they found it. Well, I guess you google me.
But like I'm like sat in the chair and like
Elvis like talks about my girlfriend's bands, like oh, you
have a you have a band, and I'm like, oh, whoa.
And then Andrew's like Jimmy Jimmy Fallat, Jimmy Fallat. I
was like, oh that too, Yeah, you're right. I missed
(18:37):
Chapel roone by three days, which is the sad part
I know.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
And then Stephanie, well, do you remember when I messaged
you on LinkedIn?
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Of course I do.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
What that was our first meeting. Yes, it was because
I saw that she interned here, so I message her.
I said, let me and please No, I was really like,
any tips tricks?
Speaker 4 (18:57):
Wait?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Is that how people get internships.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
I mean, I just like, if I like apply to
something and I can find anyone on LinkedIn, I'll just
like message them and be like any like tips tricks
if I like move on like gotta yah and like wow,
I would say, it's like fifty to fifty if anyone
gets back to me.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
But that's like so proactive.
Speaker 5 (19:16):
Did you reach out like before the announcement of getting
I heard like when you reach out or was it like, oh,
we got the email and you knew sure.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
No, it was I applied and then I think the
email to like do an interview. So that's when I
like try to find people on LinkedIn to be like
doing an interview like any like tips and should I
see what you said?
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Oh my god, Oh I look he like messed up
my response. I was like, oh my god, thanks for
reaching out. It's like, why am I thanking him for
reaching out? Like I'm about to help him?
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Thanks for reaching out. I'm right there. There you go.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
You said, but you have a good picture on here.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Yeah, you did say things for reaching out. You said,
staying on top of the.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
Application because I didn't know that you applied yet.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Okay, ummm, you said for the resume to be organized
and if I have many more questions to reach you
at your number, nice, let's leak it.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Oh wow, damn you were nice. If somebody had like
messaged me like how do I get your job at iHeartRadio,
I'd be like fuck off or some shit like I would.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
I would literally messaged me since, oh my good.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
People have put me down as a referral without asking
me for this job.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Yeah, oh bully what And like the girl has like
very nice. We are like acquaintances at this point, like
we pung out occasionally, like in group settings and like
all this, but we haven't spoken in a year, not
because of anything bad, just she went abroad first, then
I went abroad, and it's like, okay, like at least
make a moment here to like sit down and have
lunch with me and like talk about it, because then
(20:55):
I would have been happy to do it.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
But if you're just gonna do it without.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Telling me and then message me after I got the
email saying you did it, that's why.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
You also said they ask you some silly questions. Yeah
they did, loky, they did, but yeah no I was
actually like really like, oh my god, thanks for messging
me back.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Like I was trying to give you the vibe that
it wasn't as serious as like other interviews are.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
And then I forgot that we had messaged on LinkedIn
until I got here the first day and saw you,
and I was like, oh my god, I literally chatted
on LinkedIn.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
We did.
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Now here we are.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
I'm gonna start doing that, like messaging people with the
job I want, being like how do I get your job?
This is your dream job? Yes, I want to be
paid sixteen fifty forever. So true. Way back to impressions, right,
Oh yeah, So who's next? Yeah, okay, great, So I'm
gonna start with Dylan.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Dylan, it's kind of same as Ben, Like you have
these like niche interests and you know everything about them,
like wrestling and then like just working for your dad's
company over the summer and like making the graphics for
when Elvis like won the early was on the list
of the top ten.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
I was like, oh my god, like this guy knows
what he's doing.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
Funny thing about that.
Speaker 5 (22:11):
Actually, So when my stepmom came in on Friday, like
the other week, we were walking around and I went
over to Waar's offices area Mark Simone has the graphic
I made just plastered up in his studio and also
just out and about like if you walk left UFC it.
So I was like, I took a photo, was like.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
This is a really random but did you tell them?
Speaker 5 (22:28):
Well, my step mom was talking to Mark, so like
she has a photo of composing with it, so like
I talking about it, but it was just more so like, oh,
that's random as hell that they just posted that up here,
but cool that it's not alive. So yeah, no, I
appreciate that though it's funny. Definitely definite nailed it on
the head though.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
And then Ben obviously, yeah, we had our little LinkedIn
professional moment. But then when we were all walking in
to go into the studio and talk for the first time,
I was behind you, I think, and I was just
like looking at your outfit the whole time, and I
was like, okay, like he is dressed up, like he
knows his style, like he knows what he's doing. But
then you were like kind of shy. So I was like, no,
(23:06):
there's more to him. I need to crack him.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
So then that's what I did, Yeah, crack me the dead.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
And then Leilani, which I kind of still have to
like follow through with this because I feel like I
haven't yet. But I have been so excited to talk
to you about music because I secretly, not so secretly
love alternative and I feel like we could talk about that.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
I think we could. Yeah, hell yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
In broadcast segment, I'm like.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
I don't remember my first impression. I was like under caffeinated.
It was eight am, and I was so nervous. I
remember I was saying, you look like Darren Chris and
I was just like I just remember being like, I
don't see it.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Yeah, I don't know. I don't see it like fully,
but I understand when people say it, but I can't
see it.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Yeah. I didn't see it until we were out at
the bar and it was like kind of dark, and
I was like, wait, I see it seeing in a
whole new light.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
Wait, you're only saying something. I was like, wait a second,
I have to tell you I see it. I think
my first impression, Okay, this is selfish, but like when
you were like, yeah, this is my second semester, I
was like, oh good, it's possible that I can stay awesome.
But I remember you were just so confident that I
was just like, how not shitting her pants right now?
(24:18):
When it it was but you got like the Nate
chair like you were like they like were like, yeah,
sit in your chair.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
I think I was kind of like left over and
that's why they put me.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
And I remember that we were the first ones that
were extremely early and we just like stood in the
vestibule by the elevators, like, so, what's what's your part,
what's your internship? What do you do? Cool?
Speaker 4 (24:40):
Hey, how do we get in? We were just wait here?
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Yeah, and then like like who even let us in?
I don't even think it was Andrew.
Speaker 5 (24:46):
I know Andrew came eventually to grab us all because
we were all just sitting there, but yeah, someone was
just passing.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
Has let us through?
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Yeah, let's let's bring in the boundary bouncer for iHeart.
Speaker 5 (24:54):
Well, it's the bouncer you were talking about from your
show this I think they'd be doing a great job.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yeah, so for context, I had a show on Friday,
not to drag them, but their bouncer like actually turned
away every single one of my friends because they either
had fakes and he took them or they forgot their
ideas and they're over twenty one still so like actually,
like one person of like the ten to fifteen that
I had invited and they had old lot tickets too,
(25:20):
We're let in. Yeah yeah, but it was still a
fun show. I still had a good time. Good Yeah,
but yeah, screw that bouncer, I guess.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
So true real, I fear we're reaching our time we
are five?
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Yeah, yeah. I have a question.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Out of all the hosts on the show, on the
Big Show, who do we think would be the best bouncer?
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Ooh, I can tell you. I don't think I think
would be the worst. Oh do tell I love them,
but scary because I've just been listening to all these
stories last week about how he's like the f of
fight or flight and you know, like Nate was getting
into it oh hard, right, it's scary there, like it's okay,
(26:07):
like you won't won't back up.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
But if we're going with best, though, I feel like
it would be Nate. I feel like he could get
into it with someone, yeah, be able to get him away.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
I think Danielle Oh.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
I literally I don't. But I don't think she'd be
a good bouncer, but I think she'd be a good bodyguard,
like I think if like someone hit me like, she'd
hit back harder. Yeah. But if I was like, hey, Danielle,
like I'm under twenty one, but I want to go
to see my friends show at this bar, she'd be like, ah, Bryan,
like sure, I think, or like, I've never seen Froggy's face,
(26:41):
but like I could picture that Froggy would be a
good bouncer, Like he seems like the kind of guy
who would be like, yeah, no, I'm not letting you in.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
Sorry. Yeah, yeah, true, a good one.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Like I guess Froggy, now that you say it, Yeah,
but I was originally thinking Nate. Mmmm.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
It just something about that, man.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
I can't wait.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
What do we think about Scotty b I feel like
Scotty could do it.
Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, definitely imagine Scotty and Nate together.
Speaker 5 (27:06):
Best cow mooves since Jordan and Pippen right there, and
you're going to keep that door.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Out of lock?
Speaker 2 (27:11):
Who's is this? Basketball? Is this? Like? Michael Jordan, I'm
a recorded music major. Of course, I don't know sports.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
I don't know what we're talking about anymore.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Jordan and Pippen, Michael Jordan, I don't know. I watched
Drag Race.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
Well, I'm Dylan and my instagram is Dylan two two

Speaker 1 (27:36):

extra R at the end.
Speaker 3 (27:41):
