Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Hello, Welcome to Extra Naughty, More Nice. We haven't
yet quite come up with the name of this show,
but yeah, we're trying to do an after show, a
podcast where some of the stories Danielle and I did
not get to in the week we want to tell
you about.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hello, daniel Hello, Rob, how are you? I know we've
gone podcast mad. Yes, I like them. I listen to them.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
I do.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
I listened to our, listen to yours. I listen to
a lot of a lot of podcasts. I know the
Brooklyn Boys, my son's obsessed with that. We have the one,
the one, the Breakfast one, Still Real Killers. I love
that one. And also Gandhi saw us on the side. Yes,
oh yes, and I was.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
A little concerned about it. Why she told me it's
forty five minutes. She doesn't entertaining for.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Well, but sometimes it's not just one guest on her.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
Sometimes she'll have you and then maybe she'll bring Diamond in,
or she'll have someone else.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Well.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Actually, I think I'm gonna have to recommend she is
you too, so that I could give her a good
fift Okay, it's some of the stories. Story of the week, Big, big,
big Story the Week, The big gospeita about Tom Cruise.
Is he dating Annada Aramus? We've seen them together. My
sources are saying yes. I broke this story about three
weeks ago. Initially, celebrities are always a little cautious, so
when they start dating their pr people, their friends are
always like, no, it's a work relationship.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Angelina and Brad it was a work relationship. It wasn't.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
And so this started off a little bit slow and
now they're together. Once you spend your birthday with ac
she just sent her birthday with him. I think she's
thirty seven. And so they went to a romantic dinner
in London, where Tom practically is based. Now he is
in London, he left LA a celebrity couple.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
What do you think? Good couple? Bad couple?

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I did look you together.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
I mean, if they're both happy, and if she's cool
with him, because he's very involved, to be.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Honest, like with scientology, scientology, and.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
If she accepts his lifestyle and she's cool with it,
then it's fine.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
All we know that if you date Tom Cruise, you
have to be involved in the Church of Scientology is
what they would call it. Some people just call it scientology.
They don't want to use that word church around this,
but Tom really believes in this.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
This is who he is.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
When you hear stories, when you read stories that Tom
is leaving scientology, that's not.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
And I think that he's very upfront and honest with
keep on and he'll tell you. He's like, look, this
is me. You take it and you leave it.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
And that's the other thing with Tom is in his sixties,
he's one of the most famous people in the world.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
You know what you're getting, Like, there's no way that
Ms is going to.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Be like I didn't know you were, Katie Holmes, like Google,
she's not stupid. Like a friend of mine, I called
somebody who knows Anna quite well, and they said, she's
the type of person that before she goes to a
restaurant she googles the menu, so she's googling what pastor

(02:37):
she knows she knows.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
I do find it interesting that he doesn't speak to
his children, like I don't know if he doesn't speak
to his first.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Two speaks the first two, but he doesn't speak to you.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Sorry. He had with.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Katie's this thing in scientology called disentanglement. I think that's
a disconnection and what it is is that scientologists do
not want to have relationships deep relationship with people who
are not men.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
But this is your child, absolutely, and so me being
his other half now dating him, that would bother. That
would be like, you know what, that should be the
most important to you, your child.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
So I wouldn't m.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
KT homes would talk about something, some ironclad something.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
They have never not a bad word, what story?

Speaker 4 (03:31):
So oh my gosh, I have so many So we
love We talk about Steve from Blues Clues on the
show a lot, you know, and Steve I feel like
he's made a little bit of a resurgence, like people
talk about it.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
So he was talking about it.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
Do you remember when people said he was dead, that
Steve Burns was dead. He said that those rumors followed
him around so much and they were devastating. He said
that it caused him to have such bad mental health.
Said he built a house in Brooklyn. He never left it.
He called it the gray of my life. He says,
it was about ten years where I did nothing but

(04:07):
drink a couple of bottles of wine every night alone,
watch Miss MythBusters, and just eat pad ty food. He
gained fifty pounds was completely unrecognizable, and yeah, he said,
everyone thought I was dead, and eventually I started playing along.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
My goodness. Yeah, because a couple of things here.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
One staying at Homiats in that food sounds like a
pretty great life.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
To make, but not a there's depression with it.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
And if you don't want people to think you're dead,
you go out right almost like.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
But I think his thing was that even when he'd
show up and was alive, people would say, I thought
you were dead. And he was getting so sick of it,
and you know who he says really kind of got
him out of it. Steve from Blues Clothes his own
advice from his character Steve from Blues Cloth, at least
that's what he said. He said Steve sought help after
taking some advice from a w I teacher.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Steve from Blues.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Alter ego, can you do that?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
Like Beyonce has Sasha Fi, Yeah, I have Robe French.
I French when I'm nervous, Like if I'm gonna go
on a big TV show, I'm not nervous here anymore.
I love coming to do Yeah, but if I do
a big TV show, I'm not good at public speaking either.
If I've got to do like a commencement speech or
a speech at a university or something I always say
in the dressing room.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Before I go on. Rob shote, you could do this.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
See my husband, I I thought he was talking to
himself one morning and I was like, what are you doing.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
He was going in front of a client.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
You know, he's a real estate agent, and sometimes he
gives himself a little same thing, a little pep talk
in the mirror.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
You got this, You're gonna get this deal.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
You know.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
I won't name names because it back on the shows,
but sometimes when I'm in green rooms, I can see
the host of the show Big TV Stars like looking
in the mirror saying, you.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Got it, Yeah, got it, you got it.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
If it works, you.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Got to come up with an alter. Okay, big news
over the week that we're talking about a little bit
sort of niche niche here, but lots of people love
the theater. Tonia Waters out the snubs, Deniel Washington, Jake
Gyllenhall also to Kieran Culkin, Yeah, all snubs. I think
it's because not because of the quality of they work.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
They're excellent. That ticket price bugged.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Oh it's ridiculous, And I think that's thousand dollars.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
It's just so expensive. I think people got really, really
sick of that. Did you see any of the best musicals?
So these are the ones who loves when he's the
social Club?

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Did you say that's the only one? I think I
did see.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I didn't see it.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
I want to see that one. Everyone talks about it.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Yeah, have not seen that. I saw Dead Outlaw.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Oh my gosh, did you see Dead out Law?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
It's so sick, it's so good, it's so good. How
is he dead?

Speaker 4 (06:42):
He's dead like part of the show and he doesn't
move and the whole time I'm looking at him because
his eyes are half open.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Is doing the story of it, and it sounds weird
for a musical, and that's why.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Yeah, it's based on a true story.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
A true story.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
There is a corpse that went from festival to festival,
carnival to carnival, and I think people thought it was
a wax world.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yes, it was an actual corpse.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
The only time they figured out he was a real
person when his arm fell off in one of the
carnivals and somebody went, that's funny, real, but that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
And then my other favorite show is I loved Death.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Becomes How hysterical was that?

Speaker 1 (07:19):
So?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Based on the movie What's her Name? Meryl Stream?

Speaker 4 (07:22):
You laugh from beginning to end of that big old
fla if you like old fashioned Broadway tap dancing songs, Yeah,
dancing melodies and costume changes and a good laugh.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
That's for you.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
And then my other favorite and a friend of this
show too, happily merrily hang let me get this right?

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Maybe happy?

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Did you see it?

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Love so good?

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Two robots and their charger is broken. Yes, they might
be coming.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
To and they're absolute now Yeah, there's new versions of it.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Reminded me have grown older. We're all going obsolete. People
are replacing us.

Speaker 1 (07:52):
I'm looking at you, who's dress at Perez Hilton, I
can see you.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
It's replaced me. I can see that Tommy.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
So we all become.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Really really touching.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Darren Chris, he's amazing, he's amazing.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
I guess because the girl and it didn't get she didn't,
she didn't get nominated. I thought she was great, but
she doesn't really act like a robot because she's a
newer model, so that maybe that could have been something
to do that I don't know, is boop on there.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
I forget Boop did not get nominated for Best Musical,
but it did get for choreography.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Jerry and she's up and she.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
That I loved fantastic Eric Bergan who's in it, Yes.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
He plays a bad guy he plays.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
And then the really cute guy Ainsley, I think his
name is Ainsley, This Australian guy whose boops Beyonce so terrible?

Speaker 3 (08:43):
What else is on the list?

Speaker 4 (08:44):
I forget that I love And I'm telling you, I
am so excited because I feel like this year I
have seen almost every show that is up for Tony.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Do you get so I get invited? I'm really lucky
because of what we do for a living. I couldn't
afford to go to as much theater as I go
to and I certainly be sitting and.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
I would be upstairs, upstairs at the back, And so
we're really lucky.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
We get invited by publicists go and see shows they have,
like press performances. And I sometimes because our lives can
be so busy, yeah, I sometimes roll my eyes like,
oh I don't, And I always love it.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
See not me, I'm the opposite.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
I'm like, the more of the mery, I'm going to
see Smash this week, I'm going to see the Michael
Jackson thing, and I'm going to see and Juliet for
the fifth time.

Speaker 3 (09:29):
I'm going to the sing along. Have you seen Juliet?

Speaker 2 (09:35):
I think I've seen it twice.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
It's probably my favorite show on Broadway right now.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Mine is.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
And this is such a good endorsement because once again
we get press tickets. So my sister came in from
London to visit, and she wanted to see a Broadway show.
But I had to pay, and so like when you've
got to put your own money up, that's when you
really know what you like. Say the critics all the time,
like I don't care about your review. What show would
you buy a ticket? You have to reach into your
own body all the shows on Broadway. Christine wanted to

(10:01):
see a show. She left it in my hands. I
bought two tickets to Death Becomes Her Yeah, good.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Scream, Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
That's the type of show where you leave there feeling
great because because it's hysterical, sterical.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Did you see Operation means Me? That was great? I
love to And it's the original broadcast from the UK.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
Who's you winn Of those who can pick one winner,
who's your tony would let me read the list?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (10:27):
And whenever it's the Social Club didn't see.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
I didn't see. I want to see that one.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
We'll go together, dead Outlaw love it. Don't give me
a outlaw.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Death becomes a happy maybe happy ed Din's operation means me,
you can.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Only I really think that maybe Happy Ending might take it.
I think, And I think Nicole Scherzinger is going to win.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
She was amazing.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
My niece is the associate choreographer on Sunset, so my
niece works. I'm going to say the one that will
win is maybe Happy Ending, which probably should turn its
title to definitely Happy End. But the one I want
to win it is death becomes.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Out really see, I would like dead outlaw to win.
Do you know what I also love it is?

Speaker 4 (11:12):
But you know what I love about Broadway now is
that every everything's different. It's not just your traditional like
you know, death becomes a Broadway everything is different and
every like I will go see three shows, you know,
and everyone is a different experience and different, totally different.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
And I love that and the best in the world,
the best in the world. I love with Broadway geeks together,
I hope it's not too boring. Some people are not
not into Broadway, but it is so special. Yeah, we
got like five minutes left, free minutes left? What's a bat?

Speaker 4 (11:41):
But did you hear how Bruce Springsteen got the nickname
the Boss. So it wasn't like a sex It's not
a sexy story at all. Apparently it was from the
band that he paid.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
He paid his band and they would say, hey, Boss,
are we getting paid this week? And he'd be like sure,
and then he said some DJ heard it started you
think it on the radio. It went viral and that's
how he got it. It's not a sexy like, Hey,
I'm the Boss.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Never like that.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Michael Jackson.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Michael Jackson became the King of Pope because he insisted
he was the biggest pop star in the world and
MTV wanted him to be on one of their award shows,
and Michael said, I will turn up, I will accept
the award.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
You have to announce me as the king of shut up.
That's how Michael became the King of I love it.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
What would be yourself? If you're you're a huge style
they want you to turn up. You've got your dress on?
How are you going to be introduced.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
The Queen of the Shoe Collection. Oh, I like.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I think I wanted to be Romp shoot or shoot up. Yeah,
the gossip gangster.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I like that. I like that. I think I'm gonna
have to rethink mine. I need a better one.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Shoes are pretty good. I think we've got a little show.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Thank you for listening, everybody doing these little bonus episodes.
You can catch me five days a week, Monday to
Friday on iHeart not even nice with Rob and Daniel
here every day of the week.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
How long you been doing this show?

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Almost thirty years?

Speaker 4 (13:12):
Yeah, yeah, and that's crazy. I do you know what
I tell people that that I and actually I use
pinch myself just like you said. I still every morning
We'll say to myself, look where I am. And when
I drive in and I'm at the stop sign and
I can see Times Square, I go, how many people
want to come here and never can come here?

Speaker 3 (13:32):
And this is to me, New York is everything. It's wonderful.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
And to have been on this station, doing this morning
show with these people as long as I have, I'm blessed.

Speaker 3 (13:44):
I'm beyond blessed.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Just really pinched me. I sometimes saying we all have
days like this where we're a bit grumpy.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Yeah, course everybody is.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
And like I say to myself, I don't have to
do this.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Now I get to do it. Yeah, And then so
many people don't get this. I'm honest, I'm not that talented.
I'm just being really really lucky. I work hard, but
I'm nothing that I'm doing. You probably can't do that,
but if you have a dream, you can do it.
Being here with you, iHeartRadio.
