Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcastin.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Elvis show? All right, what do we want to talk
about today? We had a lot of stuff that we
talked about during the show. Yeah, anything you want to
continue on?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Oh from the show?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (00:26):
I mean Elvis isn't here, so we could talk about
the exiting group.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Chat, although I feel like we kind of we did
that yesterday and that actually was born out of yesterday's podcast,
So that's right, So we really can't go there.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
I'm pretty sure you guys wanted to make fun of
me for something. Oh does anybody has? Go get Andrew.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
He has the visual.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
On the camera you're going to have.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
So when the room has a tattoo meo, okay, any
that we can see.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
I have two little hearts.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
On your Footdanielle, Yeah, show your foot.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah, and I have one on my big one on
my foot.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
We'll take off your shoes and socks.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
I have some and you cannot see any of them.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Now did you design these yourself?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Or did you go to the tattoo parlor and say, oh,
I want this Tasmanian devil.

Speaker 6 (01:13):
All of mine were myself?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yourself? You designed?

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Okay, So somebody here Scotty b Yeah, wants.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
To found myself for a second.

Speaker 6 (01:25):
Wait, let him say what you're gonna do this stupid ship.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Wants to have a tattoo and he had a dream,
Andrew you fill in the blanks here because he doesn't
know it.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Was a nightmare.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
It's what it was. It was not a dream.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
Thank you for joining us, the co host of serial Killers,
So go ahead, take take it away.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
So I got a text over a vacation.

Speaker 7 (01:45):
I had a dream and I'm like okay, and he's like,
I'm going to get a tattoo. It's going to be
Ashley and Cooper because the E fu daughter, Yes, your daughters.
The E connects them both. So I'm gonna have a
big E that connects it. Then he writes it down

(02:06):
and shows us to me during the podcast yesterday.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
This is what he wants.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
No, that's not what I want.

Speaker 7 (02:13):
It's the tattoo. No Ashley Cooper connected by one giant E.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I fell off of my chair.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Like something fancier that.

Speaker 8 (02:25):
I was just.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Getting butterflies down.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
No butterflies have a butterfly. All I'm saying. All I'm
saying is I had a dream with this tattoo. And
I was trying to express the fact that since the
e's line up in both names, the E would be,
you know, for both names connected, And so I was
just drawing it to show him how the E was connected.
It's gonna be designed, but.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
You forgot there's no way to design this right, what
about Sawyer?

Speaker 9 (02:53):
Sawyer's gonna jesus, how about you make it like a
New York Times crossword.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
I'm intersecting at the e. That's that's fine as well,
like a scrabble.

Speaker 8 (03:04):
Where are you putting it? Where are you putting it?

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I was I want it on my wrist, but it's
I'm scared I'll pass out. He's too painful there, So
I'm gonna I want to put it like further up,
like where my arm bell.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Well, with needles. How are you going to do this?
There's a needle involved.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Because one of my heavily tattooed friends said they have
numbing cream.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
It does I don't know?

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Can I mention he said that? He said, you said that?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
When did I tell you that?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Did I say? She said it? It wasn't. It wasn't God.
It was my friend Jason. It was drunk Jason. Okay, Okay,
so are you committed to doing this? I would like
to do it. I told Okay, So I told my
daughters this, you know that I had this dream. And
so my older daughter asked, She's like, yeah, no, that's
not happening. Smart. And then so Cooper, I'm like, fine,

(03:48):
you design it and if I like it, I'll get it.
So so you're blaming this on Cooper now, No, I'm
not blaming it. I just I wanted to I wanted
to be a nice design. It's not going to be
like I wrote in big pen on paper. It's going
to be a design.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
There is no shot in any world whatsoever that your
daughter's names with a giant e connecting them looks good.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
It won't be giant.

Speaker 8 (04:10):
Oh literally, you could put Elvis on there too.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Then No, I want to be lined up, to be
lined up.

Speaker 9 (04:16):
I think that if you get the right person to
design it, an artist, I think it might be.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
By the way, I can also get all my dead
dogs because all the names line up, Sawyer, Boomers, and Blazer.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
These are all in the same spot.

Speaker 7 (04:32):
He has a wrap around en cuff of just already.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I don't see Scotty as attacked.

Speaker 8 (04:39):
I should do it.

Speaker 6 (04:39):
You're not that.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I don't either, but I just cool.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
He had a dream. He had a dream.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Don't we all have dreams. I had a dream I
had I was cool.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I was cool in this dream, So maybe it will
come to life. I think you should.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
You should use one of those word perfect fonts from
like the nineties.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yes, yeah, like that, or that grunge font that we
used as one and ninety five. Yeah know what that is.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
But I think we should all take turns with a
permanent marker designing our version for you and you can
have like a week of seeing how much.

Speaker 8 (05:10):
You hate it.

Speaker 4 (05:11):
Okay, can you go in there right now and draw
on him what you think of tattoo because.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
It'll wash off.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
You want me to draw this test?

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah, I want you to draw.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Use this as reference.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
A resident artist, ring sharpy. I got no markers in here, Scotty.
You got to go through the day with this. That's fine,
So go ahead. All you have to know is that
the E connects. You can do it however else you want.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Okay, there's a baseline, so it's gonna be a little
off center because the E and Ashley is at the
end of the word.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
And oh no, they line up, actually do right. That's right,
is gonna be one big ee.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
That's what he wants.

Speaker 9 (05:47):
What I think would look like, what I think would
look cool is if you had the font the same
for both names, and then the E is the totally
different font that connects the two names, and then he's
gone getting at touch.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Someone designed it for me, and we'll see.

Speaker 10 (06:02):
You're gonna fall in love with someone with an E
in their name and they're gonna.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
I don't put other people's name. The kids, the kids
are mine forever. Girls are not. I love Ashley to
be so embarrassed she changes her name, she spells it differently,
damn it.

Speaker 7 (06:18):
I also want to just say we all know this
about Scott.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
If he got a tattoo, you know he'd come in
with a full cast the next day. I can't really
move my arm right now.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
It's not of pain.

Speaker 10 (06:28):
I think he'll instantly regret it.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
It's not working right here.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
I want to hear, Oh my god, I can't believe
you're gonna allow her to write on you.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
He's poisoned in that ink. It's gonna be so bad.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Just He's not that guy.

Speaker 9 (06:47):
When I got a tattoo on my wrist because I
know he was saying it was painful. It was the
weirdest feeling. It felt like I was a superhero because
you feel like the whatever it is, you know, the
vibrations and everything going through your fingertips, and I felt
like I was shooting things out of my fingertips, like
I honestly felt like you know how Spider Man shoots.

(07:08):
I felt like a web slinger or like something was
going like that.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
Let's see Gandhi hold the camera.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Well here's no, the other camera, the other cameras everybody
can see.

Speaker 9 (07:23):
Yeah, but Gandhi had some like butterflies and hearts around it.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
Yeah, and flowers.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
I gotta be honest, I see that. I think porn star,
are you?

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Is that your favorite porn star? Ashley Cooper?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
That actually is good, That's what I think.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
So people are gonna be asking you about that, like
every day for the rest of your life.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Yeah, like what he was not even listening? Yeah, I
know porn stars.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
Yeah, do you want that?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
You want to have to explain that, Yeah, these are
my kids. IM proud of them to my kids in
your heart, Okay.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
That The key is the kids have to be proud
of this as well, So I don't think look at that.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Let's hold it up, hold it up.

Speaker 8 (08:16):
You want to smell my flower?

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Is that a butthole?

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Somebody get the butterflies?

Speaker 2 (08:21):
It's a prolapsed rectum.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Isn't that that girl from Call Her Daddy? You're a
fan that, Oh that's Alex Cooper, not Ashley Cooper.

Speaker 7 (08:31):
Yeah, I just really think that let's like sleep on
it for maybe the rest of your life.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Do it there?

Speaker 7 (08:38):
Yeah, but again, dreams can sometimes stay dreams like, you
don't need it. You shouldn't get that.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
At least you're not getting their faces. I mean that
would be just.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
Give a time.

Speaker 8 (08:48):
Don we have this done on air if he wants
to do it.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Actually, you should get their faces coming out of a sunflower.

Speaker 5 (08:53):
So each that's.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Right, soage patch right, and all of a sudden, the
flower is around them and it's their face.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
In the middle.

Speaker 6 (09:04):
You know what you could do? That would be kind
of cool. So my sister got me this bracelet. I
don't know if you guys can see it. Yeah, it's
just a bunch of little dots and it says something
in Morse code. You could get their their initials or
the letters of their name in Morse code. So it's
just dots, and people wonder that you something.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
I'm going to the place today and saying, just do this?

Speaker 8 (09:25):
Got no, dare you?

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Dare you?

Speaker 3 (09:28):
How about you get their name in hieroglyphics on your arm?

Speaker 2 (09:30):
No? No, I don't know what that is and you won't
match up.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Are you really going to go tonight?

Speaker 2 (09:37):
No, I'm not going to go today, but I'm seriously
considering it.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
Considering it is like, let's just not though.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Listen, if somebody comes up with the like, this is cool,
this is a good first draft. But if somebody comes
up with a really cool designer, but I'm saying smaller,
like this smaller, why.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Don't you add your dog Sawyer to it?

Speaker 2 (09:55):
And you can have the E's line up of course,
all three where you've been.

Speaker 8 (09:58):
He's on the West coast feet, he's on the In.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
The podcast he said this, and there's Boomer, Blazer and
Buster and Buster.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Buster and Sawyer. I'm sorry, I was I was doing something.

Speaker 5 (10:09):
You were enamored by the beautiful design.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
I guess Boom, all the dogs, all the dogs, one
huge will always be a part of my heart on
my arm.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
But they don't need to be there.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Why so against it?

Speaker 5 (10:22):
Why you're so anti because you're not that.

Speaker 8 (10:24):
Guy, Pal, You're not that guy. You're you become that guy.
He wants to become that guy, though he doesn't.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
No, no, and no a small one like by his groin.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Are you saying that he's not that guy at all?

Speaker 5 (10:40):
To have a tattoo anywhere anywhere ever?

Speaker 3 (10:43):
In like I kind of agree with and I don't
look at Scotty.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
Scotti is the cheapest man alive, so.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
He's not gonna you know how much you're gonna get
paid for it?

Speaker 2 (10:53):
The cheapest guy ever to do it. No, No, Gandhi said,
she's got a great dude.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
Yeah I will if you are really.

Speaker 8 (10:59):
Gonna do this?

Speaker 6 (10:59):
Are you really going to do this?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
I'm seriously considering it.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Can I help you do this?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (11:04):
Please, don't do this.

Speaker 10 (11:04):
What's the percentage that you're actually doing this more than fifty?

Speaker 9 (11:07):
Wow?

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Wow? Maybe you take him with well.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
I would go with Gandhi's guy and don't take any shortcuts,
so that thing's gonna rub off short.

Speaker 6 (11:17):
I have the team from Ink magazine, so they're like
some of the best tattoo.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
Okay, wait a minute.

Speaker 9 (11:24):
I think we could do this on air because last time,
last time, we did this and me too, I got
this one. I got one of them on the air.
Would they wind up? I want a little color on
my little hearts.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
If you guys really want this, absolutely just act.

Speaker 9 (11:39):
That will be so awesome to hear you screaming on
air getting your tap to pass out.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
I just got this. No, I'm seriously considering. Listen, if
somebody can create a cool design with the two names
with the econnecting, I'm in.

Speaker 10 (11:49):
Like, somebody certainly can either Gandhi or her friends there.
I'm sure the artist can create something.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
But I need to get one approval from both of
my children.

Speaker 8 (12:00):
Not gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Not gonna happen.

Speaker 8 (12:01):
See that's that you're out though.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
No, I'm not trying to get out. I'm gonna. I'm
gonna persuade them to both. Like Cooper's in, She's probably not,
but I'm gonna persuade her. I'll buy her.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
No, we should get tattooed, Bob to make it.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah, no, No, I need it to be spelled right.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
You'll spell it correctly. Best use my favorite.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
I've commissioned him for so many pieces.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Of art there rendering. It's just a render.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
Why is Ashley so against it?

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Because she thinks I'm a loser.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
I'm not you on that one as well.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
That would be looser.

Speaker 7 (12:37):
The other reason why I don't want him to get
it is because I just know he's gonna be one
of those people that just calls it and this is
just a personal thing for me.

Speaker 5 (12:45):
He's gonna say, yeah, I have ink.

Speaker 7 (12:47):
He's gonna be that guy where it's like, yeah, I'm tatted,
I got ink. He's just gonna be that person and
I'm bothered already.

Speaker 9 (12:54):
You're forgetting, you know, because there is you know, a
process of taking care of it afterwards and making sure
that you yes and not getting it wet and it
hurts a little bit at the beginning, and it's scammed
and it scams over.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Do you know what that's going to be like? Living
with I will that process.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
I won't look at it.

Speaker 6 (13:10):
Can we do it right before we all go on breaks?

Speaker 3 (13:12):
So we want to the deal and a.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Nurse to come take care of it.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Yes, you're the cheapest parson.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
To be like the gateway where you get this one
and then a year later you're like Benji Madden.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
That's what happens. Face and you want another one, That's
what happens.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
He's going to get the group on tattoo.

Speaker 3 (13:34):
Please do not turn to this on your own.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Please, they do have them.

Speaker 8 (13:38):
You looked it up.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
I say, let him go.

Speaker 7 (13:40):
Let him go and see what he does on his own,
and then we're all gonna laugh at him no matter what.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Right like, he's going to come in with it.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Give me some money.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
More than that, our listeners will probably come up with
something dope I have. I feel we've got some really
good artists that can do stuff, but the tattoo people
are really good.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
Bet But I mean, does really really you know me,
does it really hurt?

Speaker 7 (14:01):
Like?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Well, I'll be able to tolerate it.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
It didn't.

Speaker 6 (14:03):
I got it in the most painful place allegedly that
you can get it. It didn't hurt at all. I didn't
find it to be painful even a little bit.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
You're very strong arm the forearm. I thought, that's a
very painful place. You have a tattoo on your.

Speaker 6 (14:14):
Taint, absolutely spread your cheeks, get right up in there.
How it's across my heart.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
With Josh has a tattoo, there should we ask him
what he thought how.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
Much chubbiness is on this part of your arm, because
I think the less, like you know, I'm.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Pretty chubby here.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
The more fat, the better the bone.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
I'm good up, baby.

Speaker 5 (14:32):
He's gonna get fat for a tattoo.

Speaker 9 (14:34):
I'll tell you the one on my foot for the
foot is one of the most painful.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Hair because there's not a lot of skin there.

Speaker 9 (14:40):
But I laughed and cried. It was like a little
mixture of both. I laughed and then I would scream,
then I would laugh.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
I don't know why. It was like tickle hurt.

Speaker 8 (14:47):
If we don't do it on the show, I think
we all should go with you.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
No, no, we can do it on a show.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
They'll do it when you can't move right, I mean,
you gotta be really still.

Speaker 6 (14:55):
Why would you move?

Speaker 5 (14:56):
Of course, tattoo.

Speaker 10 (15:00):
He's gonna be the only guy getting a tattooed with
a straight jacket on No.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
But the first the first time they do the first one,
I'm gonna.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
You know me, they're not gonna strap you down. I
have to be strapped, Oh my god, strapped.

Speaker 9 (15:11):
He's gonna because how along do you think it would
take to get this arranged?

Speaker 2 (15:15):
Next.

Speaker 6 (15:16):
I think we could probably arrange it pretty.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
Quickly all his bluff, but we need to get the design.

Speaker 5 (15:21):
Yeah, yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
I need to design. I need to be approved of
my children. Please send your designs to Scott at You
could do that if you want, Scotti be at Elvis
drandall at Elvis durand dot com. You want to see
those designs, Scott, He's gonna choose one.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Oh my gosh, I'm so excited about this. This is
so cool.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
I can't wait to laugh at you.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
You can now you make me feel bad? Why would
you laugh at me?

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Because?

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Like, can you support?

Speaker 7 (15:44):
Because I just know you from You're gonna wear a cast.
It's gonna be a whole thing. You're gonna be like, yeah,
this is so hard man.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Yeah yeah yeah yeah. Infected, I get right.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I probably will have to have it amputated.

Speaker 7 (16:00):
He's not going to come to work for a week
because the ink somehow got into his kidneys.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
He's got like a uti he made.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
I gotta work from home. I can't I can't drive.
I gotta work from home. I can't move my arm
had on that note.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Oh we a hell yeah, there are ye.

Speaker 5 (16:20):
Be able to raise your hand.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
After that, I was going to push button. How can
I push button? Still?

Speaker 5 (16:25):
No, because you're gonna have the tattoo, You're out for
at least a week.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
No, you're not all right.

Speaker 2 (16:30):

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I’m Jay Shetty host of On Purpose the worlds #1 Mental Health podcast and I’m so grateful you found us. I started this podcast 5 years ago to invite you into conversations and workshops that are designed to help make you happier, healthier and more healed. I believe that when you (yes you) feel seen, heard and understood you’re able to deal with relationship struggles, work challenges and life’s ups and downs with more ease and grace. I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
