Zip recruiter dot com, slash fift What would you talk
about on your on your podcast, Elvis to Represents show.
(01:14):
I would like to first start off by saying congratulations
to Danielle, Bethany and Brody and myself. We're about to
enter a three day weekend. Yes, Typically people that are
normally here on a Friday, like a Nate and Scary
Names and Elvis ll name names. You know why, because
there's nothing to hide here, they usually run for the door. Yeah,
(01:36):
you know what we're doing. We're staying here for for
the entire thing. Normally Nate would have scooched out here already.
L two minute podcast. If we're going to pull the
veil off, we're gonna pull back the curtain. Let's pull
back the curtain. Nate didn't even come in today. No,
he's not even here. He went on vacation yesterday in
Africa when Mexico they didn't get enough a month ago.
(01:57):
And Scary always does this on holiday weekends. He makes
sure his flight is at a time when he has
to leave early to get to the airport. He always
gets that early flight on a day that we're supposed
to Why can't you get like a ten on one flight?
He never has to leave A ten on one has
to leave it to Atlantis to go to that where
he was going. I'm sorry, but this will just show
(02:19):
you what kind of you know you have to There's
only a couple of flights that are actually um, you
know not you don't have to stop, so it's direct flight.
What about when he flies to Miami. But this is
what what I'm saying is, it's like he refuses to
have any stops. Right, the same guy that doesn't like
a subway, He'll get in an uber no matter how
(02:40):
expensive the surge is at the time. Look, I don't
like landing and taking off again, I hate it, but
this is your job. Like we've all left, you know,
the show ends at ten o'clock here East Coast time.
We've all left at you know, hey, I have to
leave at nine for travel or whatever. And we make
it work. He offt at seven fifteen this morning. It's
(03:02):
such a weird time. He really didn't do much today.
He left an hour and fifteen minutes into the show today.
And also when Bethany leaves, and when Bethany leaves a
little early, Danielle doesn't have to do the news for her.
And if Danielle leaves a little early, Bethany doesn't have
to entertainment reports for her. But when Scary leaves early,
let's take a guess who has to cover for him?
(03:23):
Because it was right. I had to cover for Nate
as well. You did a very good job today. I'm glad.
I'm glad you thought so. Yes. Um, so the two
of them are out gallivanting and flying, not together, and
neither one of them is good is hey man, I
gotta leave early, but thank you, thank you for covering
for me. Brodie scared and say that he goes where
I got a goal. Maybe Tuesday he'll come back with
(03:44):
a nice souvenir for you. His Tan Daniel is gonna
come back. And I got you a Tan sc stak
dinner from ten years ago. So yeah, Scary would a
steak dinner. We talked about this on the podcast. I
know if you were there, he owes me a steak
dinner from two thousand twelve, just to if you remember,
there was a thing in two thousand twelve where everyone
(04:05):
needed help and I stepped up for the group as
executive producer and I represented everyone because everyone asked me to,
and I was the victor, but then paid a heavy
price for it and as a thank you, he he
and Gregg said, hey, listen, man, We're gonna buy you
a stick dinner in a four star restaurant because you
really stepped up and you got screwed. And that was
five years ago. So I've now, I've now knocked it
(04:27):
down and I love it, and I'm gonna say I said,
theme restaurants fine, but they're just a fast food. If
I could go to Applebee's where they, by the way,
unlike other chains, give you eight Montreal sticks. Um, I said,
that's fine, they have extra Montreal sticks. I love Fridays,
they give you five sometimes sitting six five up, I said,
give me eight Montreal sticks for a brother. You keep,
(04:49):
you keep, you keep lowering your expectations. At some point
will be a pack of bubble Yum bubble. But if
you just have two orders and just say, hey, can
I get two orders of Montreal? Now you know what?
You know me? I rather just complain that he didn't
buy me dinner. Is anyway? So people left the Garrett's point. Who,
by the way, Garrett, who was complaining to other people
like on a more important person online form are you
(05:12):
talking to this is? You know the business tells me
what are you talking to? One second? Your wife? No,
this is actually my my landscaper. Landscaper? How ic money
do you make enough to have a landscape? Landscape? I land?
What's his name? Karen? Right? No, no, no, you do
(05:35):
not have a hold on Did she run the company us? Yeah?
You go, Karen getting a dirty look and getting a
dirty look from that, and you're on my podcast right now,
I know. Can I ask Karen a question that your podcasts?
Oct I asked Karen a question? Yes, does she have
any actual landscapers working for her company that are women? Karen?
(05:55):
Do you have any landscapers working for you? Guys at
at at bush Landscaping really sponsors. It's a girl in
charge and it's Bush Landscaping. I'm just saying we're at
the eldest morning shows. A call. How much does she
charge the trim bushes? Okay, fair questions? Noting we just
(06:22):
talk about priorities for a second. His landscaper calls and
he takes the call. My surgeon just called and I
let it go to voicemail both trim bushes. So question
for you, Bethany, what who of the four of us? Hey,
by the way, I'm pretty sure she was offended by
everything we just said, because she's like me, She's like, oh,
we're good, fantastic. I'll tell you what. It's offended the
(06:44):
three of us because you made it a point to
call out people for not being here, and then in
the middle of the podcast, here but not you weren't
hear the last forty eight seconds? How old is your landscaper?
That she was offended? I don't know, but I think
she didn't expect it. How offensive to ask how old
she is? So offensive to add because she has any
actual women on her team? Well, he said it was
her landscaper, and I, although it's possible, I have never
(07:05):
seen a woman pushing a lawnmower as a landscape I said,
I haven't seen it. Didn't say they don't deserve to
do it. I have. Just in my neighborhood we do
John's landscaping. Him and his wife own it. And she's
always out there. She's digging hole, she's planting plants. She's
always out there. So taken back because she was a
smaller more because they're really I'm they have the right alright,
(07:30):
are we really talking about lawnmtenance? Can we change the subject.
Someone lives in an apartment? What is lawn? Um? Okay,
So I was really late to work this morning, and
I need to acknowledge why I hit snooze for seven times. Um,
(07:51):
because instead of waking up, I decided that I wanted
to think about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and how
a tract it to him. I am, and so I
have a dream about him. No, no, I just woke
up and decided I wanted to think about him. Oh
I thought you went back to bed to continue your dream.
Oh no, no, I was having a dream about doing laundry.
I was doing. I had like the worst, most boring
(08:13):
dream last night, but be the other way around. No, no,
I just woke up and I was like, I don't
want to get up. Oh, Justin Trudeau is very handsome.
So again the issue is priorities. Yes, Garrett took a
call to talk to his landscaper. You didn't get up
to go to work. You could have google image Justin
Trudeaux when he got to work, comes up his beautiful
wife and three children. He has a beautiful wife and
(08:34):
he has three children, and he's happily married. And I
would never touch It's very pready, but I may be
late work. He is. He's a very intelligent man. He's
very powerful. He um knows Matthew Perry and he does
he really I did not know school together Canadians, you know,
and I am very attracted to him, and so I
decided to um sit and think about him instead of
(08:56):
coming to work. Had you been fired, were coming in
late today, you would you have told your next employer
I was fired for being late. Why was it a
car accident? Were you sick? No? I was thinking of
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Canada. I wouldn't believed it. If
she said that's why she was late, I would have lied.
I would have thought I thought it was a joke,
and I hired he I would hire anyway, Like how
funny is that? It depends on what kind of job
(09:16):
I was going for. If it was a radio job, yes,
I would have told the truth. If it was a
different type of job, like some sort of nuclear science,
respectable job, yeah, no, I would have lied, and I
would have talked about it. We've all done it. We've
all hit snooze fifteen times for different reasons because we're tired.
If you're in the middle of a good dream. You've
never hit snooze because but that hasn't I have never
(09:39):
woken up for work and thought, huh, the Mets had
a really good game last night. I'm going to think
about that catch in the outfield. I want to be late.
I'm in a great mood today because my morning started
off with Justin Trudeau X sorry I'm late, Elvis hashtag
Kate Upton and he understood. No, No, Elvis wouldn't have
understood if I said Justin Trudeau, he would have understood
exactly again, who Elvis is? Yeah, he's a game in.
(10:00):
He's a game in. Very happy man. Yeah, he yes, Uh,
I'm thinking about I'm thinking about him. Okay, when you
were watching the clock and being late, did you set
a time and say, okay, by four forty seven, I've
got three more minutes of Trudeau time before i can
squeak into work. Yeah, drop dead time was my learn
goes off at three fifteen, so drop to time was
(10:22):
three Right now, I'm trying to figure out based on
what I know you and Daniel also, you know Bethany
fairly well. Before you answer this question, Garrett, you can
play along at was hard? Justin Trudeau in a suit
acting very presidential with the flag behind him at a podium,
or it was hard justin Trudeau in a polo kind
of relaxing, looking casual yet still sophisticated. Or was he
(10:43):
in a button down shirt? What his sleeves rolled up
like he was working hard. I think he was doing
the power position thing on top. Don't know what that means,
like the first presidential okay Garrett Um, Yeah, No, I
think he was on top of Bethany. Okay. Well, I
was going to say casual polo looking wealthy. But when
(11:05):
I said when you didn't see this, because she looked
at me when I said button down shirt, sleeves rolled up,
she went either I nailed it le reveal, or she
now thinks that's tomorrow morning. I have a thing for
dudes with button down shirts with the sleeves hey button.
Somehow it's not gonna have the same effect. Although I
(11:26):
did wear long sleeves today for the first time in
a long time. You're good today. You know he does
that for the reasons why I still can't understand his
greg t. So he buys shirts that he's bigger, then
so he'll if he's a large he'll buy an extra
large because he has short arms, so he'll roll the
sleeves up because his arms are short. No, he had
short arms. He has very short he has very very
(11:49):
selow green esque arms. He's like a wrapt But what
does it make sense is that he should just get
a regular shirt then, because then he's rolling up to sleeve.
And he was wearing a baseball shirt yesterday. His sleeves
were rolled up. Because I was like, why do you
roll up your sleeves? He goes, don't, don't worry about it.
I go, you roll up your sleeves all the time,
his sleeves. He looks like a child when he unrolls
(12:09):
his sleeves in there he like when you put on
your parents shirt. That's what greg T looks like as
a as an adult when he wears his shirts. Is
he still here now? Are you kidding me? He would
probably loved the eighties when everyone pushed their jacket sleeves up.
Worked here for almost five years. I had no idea
he had directs arms now because he disguised it with
(12:30):
his with his fold on his sleeves. Also, he walks
hunched over, so his arms hang down longer. He does
mind blown. I had no idea. That's because he's naked
most of the time. You know how he's naked, and
you look how small he is his arms in the
same way. So most people's arms come down to like
mid thigh, right. Yeah, he tucks him into his belt,
(12:50):
you know, to come down to his hip bones probably
the Yeah, they're they're very short. He has short arms.
I've never noticed that either. I don't because he churched you.
He my to f shoe with by rolling up his
sleeves and you don't notice it. I'm like, oh, it's
a normal, normal shirt. Was no big deal. He's a
normal person in reality. He has short arms. It's like
you never notice how short Ryan Seacrest is because he's
(13:12):
so powerful. Yeah. Well, anywhere you meet Ryan in real life,
you know he's sort but he's fine with that. He
he makes fun of his own height all the time.
It's really it's really hurt his career. Yeah, he'd have
eleven jobs if he was taller, has nine. He's very handsome,
so it doesn't matter. He's the kind of guy you
go to work late for. He's just sit and think about. Actually,
(13:32):
he was doing his show from New York last year
when that Hoboken train crash happened, and so I had
to go into his show and do live hits about
the Hoboken crashes. You updates, And I'd seen him in passing,
but I've never met him, like met him face to
face before. And he is a total professional because he
pretended he knew who I was. So I came in
and he was like, oh, hey, bathany sit down, and
(13:53):
I'm like, okay, And then I had to be super
professional or Ryan Seacrest, Trudeaux, Justin Trudeaux, Okay, Justin Trudeau.
He's singing the alphabet song to you and he goes
t U V W X Y and zaid and it's
over right. No that he said doesn't rhyme. He speaks French.
(14:15):
Sometimes he tweets in French. He would whisper to me
in French. I can see it. And that's why Daniel
fell in love with Sheldon, because of the of the British.
That helps, But that wasn't the only reason he would
have married Benny Hill. If you google that, Mr Bean,
why did you why? What was the thing about Sheldon
lost the bet? He was the sweetest, he was so
what got me. The first time was that we were
(14:39):
on a double date. Elvis set us up on like
a double date. Stewart arms arms, really, how did you hear? Right?
More importantly, how did he reach the phone? That's stuff
I thought? Everywhere? How do you know? You help? Where
are you? Where I am? First of all, it's Garrett
(15:01):
who keeps telling us that you have little arms. Yesterday
he said, you have sea low green arms and the
reason and you wear bigger shirts to make it seem
like you have longer arms, and that's when you roll
them up when you come down yesterday. You were in
here yesterday. You were in here yesterday and Nate unrolled
your shirt and you're like, bro, bro, no, no, no, no,
(15:23):
no, no no no, I have short arms. That's why I
roll up my sleeve. T T T. When you if
you're standing up straight and you let your arms just drop,
what part of your body do they hit? Hi? What
part of your thigh by your belt? Upper thigh? You
do have short that's not a problem. But it's not
a problem though. It is when he tries to pleasure
(15:44):
himself and he can't reach, he has to bend on.
It doesn't take, It doesn't take much because he doesn't
have much to pleasure down. You've we have seen it
a million times. Take Hey, um, when I asked you
while your arms a short, you said it was just
because it was called in the room. You know when
(16:07):
you when you come in on Monday, can I see
your arms? Your short arms? I'm gonna show you mine
in private? Lu Is it true? You have to move
the seat all you up to reach the steering wheel? Now? Sorry,
I have a good weekend. I love you. Sorry. You
know we were talking about him. I don't I don't know.
And you know what, when he called justin Great Tea fashion,
(16:30):
everything got screwed up. The podcast is overcast than mine.
All right, So it's been the twenty seven minute podcast.
Have a wonderful long weekend on Tuesday. Now we get
a double today. Let's just cut this one in half.
We'll cut it short next on Tuesday, like Great Tea's arms.
There we go and that everyone, we'll talk to you
