Speaker 1 (00:02):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
firm Elvis represents Morning Show. All right, I'm morning you.
It's not all fun in games. Welcome to the fifteen
minute Morning Show Podcast. I'm here. It's Alvis the Bethany. Hello,

(00:26):
and they're scary. Hi. Straighten Ate is here? Hello? I
see okay, Straighten Nate and his bad attitude. It's sort
of going to be the launch of today's podcast. It's
Nate's having a rough day because his allergies are bad.
This is the worst I've seen them. Nate has a
bad day every day, but today it's worse because of
his allergies. I can't win, man, and he's always the

(00:50):
I can't win man, guys, I can't wrong. What's wrong? Right?
Like you? Guys? I absorbed. I'm like the bulletproof vest
for most of you here, and I take a lot.
It's I'm taking one right now because of a three
hour time difference. Okay, we'll talk about that now. People
think we come in here and by the way, great
team just joined us. Hey, guys, so people think we
just come in here every day and go, hey, let's

(01:11):
going out here. Here's another fart joke. All right, let's
do the news, here's a song, and we go home
at ted and never work again. That's sort of the
case every day, but not not really. It is a business.
We have a business to run. We represent a lot
of revenue for the company. Stuff that we don't even see,
things we don't know about, we don't want to know
about them. But Nate is sort of our shock absorber
between the fun end of our business, what we do,

(01:33):
and the business end. For instance, today his only job,
his one and only job, was to get Kevin Spacey
on the phone so we could do an interview. And
today was the third time it admitted you had one job.
Today was the third time Kevin Spacey was scheduled. So
so it was supposed to be three days ago at

(01:56):
ten am Eastern time. It was supposed to be tomorrow
at an a m. Eastern time. It was supposed to
be today at ten am Eastern time. So what happened
this morning? At ten am Eastern time? I call at
ten oh three because I gave three minutes grace period
because normally they call us, right, they normally call us.
They answer at ten o four and then inform me

(02:17):
that they were under the impression that it was ten
am Pacific time, California. Okay, which happens from time to turn.
I just want to show you right there, what does
that say? It says, okay, ten a m. Eastern time?
And what is what? What did they do? The little
hand says yes, okay, Now did you write eastern time
or e t et? Now you see you have to

(02:38):
spell it out. I heard him on the phone with
with Evan by the way, not Evan Hansen from the
famous play, but Evan as An Evan and Jarren. They
had a song out the Crazy for This Girl. And
now he's part of the management team for Kevin Spacey.
He knew it was east because turn time, all right,

(03:01):
So so there you have it. Yeah, so so we
have no Kevin Spacey. Yeah, we called and some one
guy who ranches the moment. Hello, I woke somebody up.
His name is Charles. He seemed like a nice guy
because it's seven o'clock there right right, And now I
don't know what to do. Now It's like, Okay, the
thing is, you're not in nep You're fine. You didn't
do anything wrong. Kevin Spacey, we we all agree, one

(03:23):
of the best actors in the History of Actors and
he's doing the special performance here in New York City.
We wanted to talk to him about it, and we
want to talk about to him about his fifth season
of House of Cards and he has another movie coming
out anyway, Kevin Spacey love him, but we just couldn't
get his people to connect with our people. That's it.

(03:43):
And by our people you mean me. Yeah, but that's
not your fault. It's not your fault. I know exactly
what you went through, and it happens so far everybody
who believes that it's easy to do a show, these
are the trial and tribulations that go on in the background. Okay,
but think about it. If this is the worst thing
that's going to happened to us today, not a bad day.
And as Bethany's card to Me reminds us, sometimes you win,

(04:06):
sometimes you learn. Both are wonderful. What did you learn today?
And it will move on? I guess I need to
be I guess I need to really spell it out
and write the word eastern next time. Oh, I think
you gave them ample. I honestly don't know what's what.

(04:26):
I think you can learn from this let it go,
But I can't but you gotta your perfectionist too, and
I admire the hell out of There's nothing we can
do about it. Kevin Spacey is still asleep. I know
there's nothing you can do. Let it Who's who all agrees?
Let it go? I would let it go. Let it go.
Now I can hang out, and I gotta answer a
phone call. Answer to speak your phone. Let us hear it.

(04:48):
I'm gonna hear it. Go go on where we're on life? Hello?
N Hi, Charles, Hi, Charles, h Charles. Everybody's saying Hi. Yeah,
Oh you can't reach them. They're probably asleep. Possibly, Okay, okay, um,

(05:08):
all right, well let's do thought no. I I was
just checking my texts with Evan and it said ten
a m. Eastern. So that's fine. Well we'll figure it out. Um,
we're letting Yeah, we're letting it go. But we love Kevin.
We we love Kevin, and we're gonna have him on
the show. I mean, I'm gonna I'm determined to make
this happen. So for a second there, I thought into

(05:30):
the show, Oh no we're not on, No, we're not
while we're not not on. Yeah we're not on. Um okay,
so uh let's let's do this. I'll connect when Evan
is awake, and then we can figure out another time
and perhaps it would be ten am tomorrow Eastern time,
so that we can record this for the next day. Okay, okay,

(05:51):
yea email, I will okay, right, thank you, Charles? All good,
all right bye? All good about Charles for a second,
My goodness, he may be on London time. He sounds delicious.
Now you're judging a book by its cover. I absolutely am,

(06:12):
I absolutely am. So anyway, you're fine, but let it go.
It's not the end of the world. We have plent
I will say. I feel bad because it's Kevin Spacey
and he's one of probably five people I would be
excited to meet. I was even practicing answering the phone
and saying hi, Mr Spacey, because I'm not going to
call him. Kay, let's rehearse that. I'm going to call
in as as Kevin Spacey said Kevin Spacey, because let

(06:33):
this interview three times. Okay, so I'm going to call
in and you're going to answer it the way that
you've practiced. Okay, Okay, Ring ring ring, Hello, ship ring
ring Ring, Hello, Elvis Derancho, Hello, who is this. I'm
Kevin Spacey and I'm very upset. Hi, Mr Spacey, I
apologize for any sort of miscommunication, but we're very excited

(06:54):
to have you on the show today. Whose whose job
was it? It was mine and I apologie. It would
not go down that way. Will you be Kevin Spacey? No,
I'm not gonna be Kevin Spacey. It's gonna get worked out.
I think we should just move on. Okay, let's move on.
Let it go. But this is the show, this is
It's not all fun in games. Yeah, okay, that was

(07:14):
the point of of what we're trying to tell you.
There are you know, hiccups from time to time, and
we move on. How can you guys can be more
calm and cool and connected like me? It's so Gregg
T has a special surprise for us. What did he
want to do? Well? Greg T was in the other
room talking about how he has a dirty bucket list
item and he thinks everybody has a bucket list item

(07:36):
that's filthy. Is it on the bucket list? Okay, not
the bucket list? My point the scary was that you
know everybody has a bucket list. You know, I want
to jump out of an airplane. I want to run
a marathon. The whole point you want to you want
to get everything done before you kicked the bucket, right.
But I also think that and this, I hate to
do these generalization stage statements, but I really do think
that everybody, each one of us, has a very dirty, sick,

(07:59):
twisted uh side to us because don't kay, So like
I wouldn't go tell my neighbors, hey, I'm really dark,
sick and twisted inside because I want them to like
me as a person. You know, some I'm gonna tell them.
So the point is you have a dirty item on
your bucket list, for instance, like you know, so we
all know we got on this topic. I think he
was talking about, like, you know, call girls women of

(08:20):
the night, so like when you're in Vegas girls the night,
you know, or or prostag correct sex work when you're
in When you're in Vegas, you see a lot of
you see a lot of these beautiful women. Bethany was
up last night? Are you officially the night? Was my

(08:41):
favorite song from Fan of the Opera Must Know? What
do you say? If you are Vegas so you want
to have sex with listen? No, if you're in Vegas.
It's very common. No any listening worker, and we play
to the point. You go when you go to Vegas, Harlot,

(09:05):
when you are in Vegas, every single oh my god,
I can okay, I'm sorry, when you're okay when you're
in Vegas. Right when you're in Vegas. Every casino that
you go to, there are very beautiful women that are
just out there waiting to get the nod, you know,
and then then you make the phone call and whatever. Whatever. No,

(09:27):
it doesn't matter that I'm married that that's irrelevant. What
I'm saying is on my bucket list. I've never done
that before. I've never turn your twenty five minute diet
tribe into like one second on your bucket list is
hiring a prostitute, but not like that, not a hiring Prostitutely,
I'm driving in a car, like in the Bronx, and
I picked somebody up, like in the bad area. You

(09:49):
want to pick one up in a Vegas yeah, like
or if I go I go to a foreign country
and like they're walking. But hiring someone for sex is
hiring someone for sex. It doesn't matter if it's on
a street corner or on on line. It's hiring someone
if you want it. Okay, you want that's fine, So
that's on the bucket list. But I told him that
that's an unrealistic bucket list item because he's over, he's married.

(10:10):
That ship is sailed already. No, no, no, that has
that's irrelevant. Again, it's the bucket list is to hire
a prostitute. A bucket list is are things that you
do that you plan on doing. Well, if I can
get to it, I'll get to it. You're married, you jerk.
But no, no, no, I'm not saying now I know
I'm married, but who knows the future. In three years,

(10:32):
Tris could say I'm out of here and then I'm
bucket my bucket. Let's let's clarify this entry on your
bucket list. But if and when I'm ever single, I
want to hire a sex worker. I don't even think
it has to be like that. I just think what
you're saying that would going to separate, That would be
going to separate bucket. It's not your current bucket. Okay,
another one bucket can't have that? Well, this thing another

(10:55):
one on my list? Of course, let out like I
would love to. Your ceiling is dripping this seems so
like crazy, like you see his moves all the time,
you know, and I've never done this ever my life,
and I'm probably to the point. Please, but like, what's
it like to be? You know, if you took massive drugs,
like a really big drug, we're gonna like shoot up

(11:16):
with some kind of you don't want to do that, right,
But that's on the dirty bucket list? No, no no, no,
you're not understanding the point of a bucket list. Or
these are things you are intending to get to but
I'm probably never going with you. But it's to be.
It's not on your bucket list. You're curious about it,
it's on the curious about it list? What the whole

(11:38):
different bucket But what do you want to know? What's
like the things you're curious about? If you've never shot
up heroine, what do you want to just do? It's like,
I don't want to know about what if I can,
I haven't. I have friends whose lives were ruined and
even taken from because I would never want to do that.
I don't conduct on your bucket list. I told you you, okay,
look at it this way, look at it this way.

(11:58):
A bucket list is a things to do list. Okay,
you shouldn't see the northern lights. That's on my buckets.
I want to do that before I die. But that's
that's the good things. I'm talking to the bad two days.
It's not really bucket bucket list. Listen to me. It's
a list of things you are going to do, period.
It's things you're going to do. Gold so curious about

(12:21):
the high of heroin is not a goal unless it
is unless you plan on doing it. Don't put it
on your bucket list. Okay? Like number three, like, what
would you like to stake out somebody's house, Wait till
they're gone, and then break it, break it and steal
what we can get first? What first? Can we talk

(12:44):
about this other big? Okay, this is okay, So let
me ask you, Okay, which bucket do I put that in?
Is that in your bucket list? Bucket? Or is that
in your things? I'm curious about my neighbors. My neighbors.
My neighbors will often go to Florida and like he'll say, hey, Gregg, listen,
just let you know. Next Tuesday we're leaving. We're gonna

(13:04):
be in Florida to like Friday, I see you later,
and I'm always thinking like now I know, like what
if I can actually crack his wig over and break
it like rob him? Would you like that? Because like ubbery?
Would you like hose over your face so we don't recognize? Yeah? Right,
like check it off like robbery did it? Fisherman's Bery,
Cullen did it? Would you like to write them robbery

(13:28):
and then put a line through it of the night
night and then the line goes down. Okay, Okay, so
I'm not saying I'm gonna do just okay, I think
can someone please we only have a minute. Like google
the bucket list, it's a list of things you want

(13:50):
to do and you will do, not things you're curious about.
Okay when they're worst. There are some people that that
always like making up like they'll do something. For instance,
and there wasn't straight Nate has on his bucket list
a very obscure thing. He wants to get into a
bar fight. Do I really wanted? Are you planning on
actually doing it? You know this may be going on.
Great Tea's curiously nervous about on the curious list. Curious

(14:13):
I'm saying, not the bucket list, right, So that's what
I'm saying, like, you know, like I was thinking, I
have a I have a person that cleans the house.
Sometimes I would think, like, would it be like if
I came home and me and the person that cleans
the house got it on in the bedroom? You know?
And are you going to do that? Do you want
to do it? Okay? Then it's not movies, it's not
on a bucket. I'm curious about jumping off the roof
of a building, but I'm not going to do it.

(14:35):
You could, but no, but I'm not going to do it. Curiously,
I think there's nasty, dirty things that everybody wants to do.
Everybody has a dirty Okay. Here's here's the definition. Go
bucket list now informal a number of experiences or achievements
that a person hopes to have or accomplished during their lifetime.
Do you hope to do a heroin in your lifetime? No?
I don't. Okay, then it's not on your bucket list?
What if it was? But it's not fifteen minute morning
