Speaker 1 (00:06):
I want you. Hello, I don't want to be there. Hi,
I'm dying here. This is the weirdest shows, noted Thistorian
in the Morning Show. Did I fall asleep wake up

(00:31):
in Paradise? Yes? I did. Here we are at work.
The Fountain Blue in Miami beats. We're ready for our
fool party today pool side, which is kind of weird.
Pool side Punta. What does that mean? There's like fifty
five pools here. I know it. Well, Welcome to today.
Danielle is not with us here in Miami. Danielle. We

(00:52):
miss you. I'm missing you. Would have loved that. Well.
Then I heard horrible stories about so I'm so happy
I didn't go on the plane. Oh my god. It
was the worst trouble day ever. But you know what,
if you wake up with the Fountain Blue, it kind
of makes it all better, right, guys. Good morning, Danielle.
How you feeling. I am feeling good. I hope you
guys are here. We are. Good morning, they're Gondhi, Good morning, Hello, Scary.

(01:15):
There's Froggy straight and is here. Garrett is at Master Control.
We love you, Garrett. Of course, the Scotty b is
there as well, and Diamond taking your calls at eight
hundred two two zero one hundred. Dave Brody's floating around
here somewhere. Who did I not mention where his producer Sam?
I thought she came with us. Oh did we leave

(01:37):
her on the plane? You were supposed to keep it
in touch with someone? Get me out of the cargo.
We're welcome today. We are just in our own little
corner to the Fountain Blue. If you're here in Miami,
don't bother looking for us. They won't eat you win.
You're locked out. It's only it's only us and our friends.
Uh wait, you are our friend anyway. YEA, So pool
party today we have m by Hold coming on the

(02:00):
show and Nikki your Tate McCrae's coming in a busy day,
busy day pool side. I'm still trying to figure out
if I should do a two piece or a one piece.
Definitely a two piece. Two piece? Have you see me naked?
I need like a seven piece. You can always do
a two piece with like one of those like a
cover ups. Yeah, I need to cover everything. When I
go shopping for a swimsuit, I go to the Macy's

(02:21):
White sail anyway, So what's the appropriate song to start
your show when you're in Miami. How about it is
the only one we have put your pa I'm in Miami, bitch,
I don't remember that being in the lyrics. I really

(02:42):
like that version? Are we okay? We put that ass up?
The version? Danielle? You're good with it? I love it? Okay?
Got it? Anyway? Well, welcome to day. We are at
the Fountain Blue Miami beats. So much to cover today,
traveling uh pool parties, questions about this historical, historical base
we're doing our show in. What else we needed to

(03:03):
discover today? M anyone repressed? The stories from our past
now came up after the liquor. I don't think you
should talk about that, Danielle. So we had one of
our dinners last night Danielle, yeah, of course. You know,
with every sip of of beverage, everything goes downhill. We
were talking about things from our childhood that we shouldn't

(03:23):
even share with a therapist. Oh man, I did you
record them? Because I would like to. I got some
of it, Danielle, don't worry. Yeah, that's it. That's my girl.
Our first caller online one is Monica. Monica says she
wishes she were here. Hey, Monica, where if you're not here?
Where are you? Hi? Elvis? Oh my god, I'm talking

(03:44):
to you. I love that we're talking to you. But
so we're in Miami. Where are you? I'm in pat
rog New York on Long Island. It is disgusting here.
So I'm so jealous that you guys are in Miami today.
What do you mean disgusting? What's going on there? It
is cloudy, rainy, it's muggy, it's which most of those

(04:06):
things here body part well patch all Long Island is
It's like the Miami of Long Island. So let's you're
in the right place, you could say. So, what are
you doing today, Monica? What's gonna be your the headline
of your day? So I don't know if you guys
know this, but today's actually National intern Appreciation Day. So

(04:28):
I'm going into the office. I'm hosting a big networking
event and lunch for all of our interns that we're
just so happy to be hosting this summer. You're a
great intern leader. We should do the same for our
interns today. We don't have any interns. Oh, that's right,
we don't have any ann never I started at the

(04:52):
very top. Did you start as an intern, Monica, I
actually did not, um so, so I started part time
at this position, and I've slowly worked my way up,
um into the HR department now. So I kind of
get to give back to the people who are just
starting off just where I was one day. Well, you know,

(05:14):
Monica's in the HR department. Thank god, you weren't at
our dinner last night. But does that count because you're
not technically at the office. I don't know, Monica, You're
you're the expert with HR. Let's say we were out
to have a dinner with our co workers. We weren't
like on the clot but things got rowdy and raunchy.

(05:37):
That that counts, right, you know, as long as everybody's
having fun, that's all the matter. Here we go, Oh
my gosh, that music means one thing. It's time to
give you a fifty dollars Windies ular Windy. What's all
We're gonna give you a fifty dollars Windies gift card.
There's always time for frosty, Monica. Jeez, you know that.

(06:00):
And you tell the interns we said hi in congratulations
and they have a cool leader. You're we love you, longa.
You have a great day. Okay, you have a great day.
You guys all right, hold on one second, I'm looking
at myself in the zoom and I'm not impressed. What
what are you not invested with? Well, you know we
were up late and up early, so you know the
dinner that we had last night. At one point, Gandhi

(06:21):
asks a question, She's like, hey, what's something weird? It
turns you on? And then you guys all started judging
when I told you about something goes on at some
nights at my house. Yeah, you guys all started judging
me like I felt, you know, judged. It's animal cruelty. Froggy,
it's not your own wife judged you. It wasn't just us. Okay,
well move on. We got the whole restaurant was judging you.

(06:42):
We've got to go on. Thank you. See I love Garrett.
When he runs the board, he moves us forward a
little scary taking credit for a moment, Garrett. You know
I was giving you some love back there at the
New York studio. It is don't be scary if we're
moving us forward. He banged on the table. No, No,
that made God all right, moving on. We are at

(07:04):
y one hundred summer pool party at the Fountain Lou
Miami Beach. We've lots to discover today. I hope you're
staying with us, but until then, let's get into the
three things we need to know from Gandhi. Gandhi, it's official.
The Federal Reserve is raising interest rates in other three
quarters of a percentage point. It's the fourth rate height
this year, and it's aimed at curbing soaring inflation. FED

(07:24):
chair Jerome Powell said the Central Bank has the tools
to turn inflation around. He noted strength and resilience in
the national economy, but said growth and consumer spending are
slowing down. The Air Force is testing a system of
artificial intelligence and drones aimed at stopping active shooters. A
Pennsylvania based company called Zero Eyes is creating the system,

(07:45):
built off of their existing AI gun detection software. If
the program detects an active threat, a human reviewer will
confirm the threat and deploy a robot or drone to intervene.
Those drones are programmed to use non lethal methods to
disorient the shooter, including siren strobe lights, and it will
act as a force multiplier. That will assist authorities head
into the scene. No, I think the lethal way is better.

(08:07):
I think that's fine too. Take him out, I mean
you don't want to. I don't know that a siren,
strobe light would stop him. But it's a good step.
It's positive. Can you imagine, you know, you your calls
in trouble and this this this robot dog just walks
in it ortle tail is wagging also. And finally, we're
in Florida right now, So let's talk about a Florida

(08:27):
man who is facing charges after allegedly taking a drunken
ride on a scooter inside a Walmart. Police say they
responded to reports of a man swaying in the scooter,
driving into shelves and running into customers When they arrived
at the store. Authority said that he smelled of alcohol
and had an open bottle of Smirnoff vodka inside a
backpack in the scooter's basket. He refused to take a

(08:49):
breathalyzer test. He was arrested for DUI and those are
your three things? Would you buy me at Walmart? Nate? Anyway,
you guys ready for your Thursday. It's our favorite day
of the week. Let's do it? Come on, why do
you listen to this crap ran in the morning show.
It's scary Jone. It's the good neighbors at State Farm.

(09:11):
Believe you don't have to give up what you love
for great insurance for surprisingly great rates like a good neighbor.
State Farm. Is there call or go to state farm
dot com to get a quote today? Anyway, welcome today.
We're live at the Fountain Blue Miami Beach for why
one hundred summer pool party. It's gonna be quite a
long day and night, and I'm ready for it, are you?
I am? As long as we don't work tomorrow, I'm in.

(09:33):
I'm good. I'm all good. Anyway. So Danielle did not
make it to Miami with us? Yeah, do we know why?
Is there a reason? Today? Is my son's seventeenth birthday?
Should have brought him? Yeah, well, we would give him
a birthday he'd never fo, to be honest, I was
thinking about that originally, but then you know, the family

(09:55):
wants to see him, and he wants to go to
the Yankee game tonight, so you know we're going to
celebrate the Marlins game. We could sit him too to night. Yeah, okay, Anyway,
it's really great h here waking up on the beach
in Miami Beach. You can start to see the light begin.
It's it's busy, long day here comes from sunshine. Not yet,

(10:17):
but you know it's getting light. And did you guys
take a walk on the beach last night? I did not?
Was I the only one? You guys went to bed
at midnight? I'm like, I'm up. Well, yea, sir. We
were upsite three thirty in the morning. It was romantic,
just me. Yes, did you look out for any sea turtles? No? No, anyway, No,

(10:39):
it was great. I just went out there for a
little while, walked around because you can walk around and
look look at all the pools and things because it's
just totally empty. It was nice and quiet. It was
one of my favorite moments here at the Fountain Blue
when no one was messing with me. Right, it was awesome. Anyway,
we have a busy lineup today. I'm not quite sure
what it is, but we well, we have a couple
of people stopping by. Nick yours going to be stopping by, right,

(11:02):
and then Take McCray is going to be stopping Okay,
they're performing at the pool party. This afternoon, and we
just order breakfast. Danielle, our friend Mariah is gonna help
us get some breakfast over here. Mariah carry's there too,
Not Mariah carry a better Mariah. Okay, anyway, Uh, with
that said, let's get into the horoscopes. Producer Sam should
be here, another person who's just shirking the responsibilities on

(11:25):
the morning show. Sorry. By the way, Froggy shaved his
legs and it feels so weird. It's like touching a
bald man's head. Oh my gosh, why did you shave
your legs so shaved? I don't use like a I
don't use like a razor razor. I use like a
manscaper thing. I just I just so it trims it
way down. However, the tablecloth that we're sitting at is

(11:48):
grabbing on my legs and it's starting to hurt. And
Nate now rubbing my legs because he likes the way.
It's like velcro. His leg touches it and it sticks
to it and it pulls the table. Well, let's think
that through. Next time you start shaving. How long is
your leg hair? You can take it down with a
manscape exactly. His leg is so smooth. It's almost as

(12:09):
if he used some sort of acid just to burn
the hair off. Oh anyway, let's move forward. Who are
you doing your horsecops with? How about Scottie be back
here in New York with me? Greg? Hey, how about it?
Let's do it. If you're celebrating a birthday today, you
share it with Soldier Boy and Lori Laufman Capricorn. Advice

(12:32):
you may have ignored in your past will need to
be remembered to fix a problem you are facing now.
Your days and eight Aquarius, don't race ahead, take your
time because remember slow and steady wins the race. Nine
day is a nine. Sorry Pisces, old fights me drag
you back into the drama. Stay far away and don't
involve yourself in nonsense. Your days of six aries rere

(12:53):
You examine what you may have left in your past
to see how you can change your future. Your days
of five Taurus help a close friend work through a
complicated problem with your trademark charm. Your days of nine Semina,
you are working efficiently and practically. Continue on with the
knowledge that each step you make is towards progress. Your
days ten Cancer be smart by playing dumb and allow
others to show you their hand before you show yours.

(13:15):
Your days of six, lu Leo, leave a situation alone
and don't tempt faith your days of seven, Virgo, play
the tough cop and show others you mean business. Your
day is an eight. Hey, Libra, take a leap of
faith and trust that your gut instinct was right your
days and eight Scorpio. Not everything has to feel so
out of control. Try to regain what is rightly yours.
Your day is a seven. Oh and finally, Sagittarius pinned

(13:37):
down the exact number on a deal before blindly signing
on the dotted line. Whoa very specific good luck on that.
Your days of nine and those are your Thursday morning
horoscosts as we bring it live today all morning from
the Fountain, Blue, Miami Beach Fountain. People are tired of
me telling my conception story. I would like to hear

(13:59):
all about it. I was checking in the guy who
checked his head at the front desk. Really sweet guy,
I said, you know, I was conceived right above us
in this tower. He's like you were. I said, yes,
the presidential suite. Thank you hello. He said, it's still there.
I said, I know. I slept in it not long ago.
He asked me. Is it is it weird sleeping in
the same bedroom that you were conceived into it? Yeah?

(14:20):
It really is. Anyway, I love this place. I feel
like this place is yours for the moment. They've done
such a good job with branding that on the floors.
As you walk from one place to another. It sells
the Elvis to Rand Morning Show. I know we're part
of the floor. Yeah. So where were you conceived? Gandhi? Oh,
dear God, I would never ask it, don't care? Do
we want to think about it? I hope a test tube?

(14:41):
Did you have a wound with of you? What about you, Nate?
Where were you conceived? It had to have been in
my childhood home because that's where my parents were living. Okay,
I'm thinking so Froggy, what about you? I've think gone
some like seventies shag carpet in our house back? Do
you some pornt music back in North Carolina? Okay? What

(15:01):
about you? Scary? Where you conceived? In an apartment in
Coney Island? Were your parents there? My parents? What about you? Daniel?
Where do you think you were conceived? I guess in
the Bronx in the house. I don't know, oh am,
I the only one that knows exactly, Yes, exactly do
you know, like did that information get offered up to
you or did you ask me like mommy daddy. No,

(15:23):
they tell me exactly where they were, where they knew
it happened. And and I actually later twice I've stayed
in that same that same suite. I know they have
changed the sheets, thank god. Anyway, waking up at the
Fountain Blue, you would think people were sleeping late. I
see people milling around over there already here it is,
what six twenty in the morning. They're the employees. No,

(15:44):
those people have come for breakfast ice cream? Wow? Yeah, No,
they're up. Maybe maybe they didn't go to bed left
from last night. Maybe they're still up. They look they
look kind of polished. I think I think that they
are up for like an early morning workout. Those people,
what is there in front of the people? Stop running?
You know those people are people are out there running

(16:05):
like jogging for their help. I am offended. What is
going on? People are actually like moving, They're actually breathing
at six twenty seven in the morning. Are these people? Yeah?
What name? I used to be so in shape? I would.
I used to be one of those people running. And

(16:25):
yesterday at the airport, I was standing to check in
and I see that they have the bag scale there.
I'm like, hey, do you mind if I step on
this bag scale? Just which is weird? It's not that
weird because it is. It does so when I stepped
on it, it goes bag limit exceeded and then it
flashed one hundred and ninety seven pounds. I've never been

(16:47):
that heavy in my life. I'm loving the text. By
the way, I conceived my child in the same bedroom
where I was conceived. I was conceived on top of
a washer of the what a spin cycle? Anyway, that's
where we're going with that. Okay, so when we come back,
I want to talk. I don't want I don't want

(17:08):
to be like mister negative, but we have to talk
to talk to you about the people we flew with. Yesterday.
It was as if an insane asylum all got tickets
to an airplane and showed up. I was texting Nate, like,
how do we get people on a no fly list? Never, Danielle,
I'm telling you right, Danielle, you would. You would have
stories too. We all sat near people who would just

(17:30):
the most god awful human beings. I don't know what
is going on. I think must be in the water
with people lately. They're just dumb. And I was on
whatever were United seven two six from Newark to Fort Lauderdale.
The crew could not have been more patient, and God
bless him. I even looked them in the eyes, and

(17:52):
God bless you for putting up with these people. Yeah
and uh so, yeah you feel bad for because think
about this. We just did it yesterday, like we dealt
with yesterday. They deal with it every single day, whole
new group of completely imbeciles. The problem is you never
know what you're gonna get, you know what I mean.

(18:12):
Luckily I sat next to a really nice guy who
was there with his massive family, and they were all
in a good mood. But there's just one lady with
blue hair. She was just full of venom and full
of just negativity. Anyway, why would I tease that coming up?
Who wants to listen to that kind of radio? You'd
like to hear us bitch and motion she was bitching
about are great when you tell that story that it's

(18:33):
awesome anyway, that and we have a full day here
as we bring it to your live the Y one
hundred Summer Pool Party to found Blue Miami Beach, our
home away from home. I checked into my room and
there it was nice big bottle of tetoes and some
ice and some some cranberry juice. And they said, welcome
back home, Elvis. That's awesome. I know. I look more

(18:54):
runners are running by Jesus. All right, let's take the break.
We're back right after this. Ellis Duran. He smells like onions.
Duran in the Morning Show, Fredy, Hello, lady, is Elvis
Duran in the Morning Show. Sound a little different today.
We're in a different place. It's the Y one hundred
Summer Pool Party, and we're live at the Fountain, Blue

(19:15):
Miami Beach. Everyone except for Danielle. Yes, I have another
Danielle I want you to talk to. Her name is
Danielle and she's online twenty Daniell's name is Danielle. I
just saw your text, Danielle, and I'm intrigued. Do you
want to talk about it? Hello? Good morning everyone, Well,
good morning, So tell them what you texted in about.

(19:37):
Oh yeah, so lately it's been really heavy on my
mind about quitting my job. I don't have a job,
any other job aligned. However, it's becoming very stressful me
working there, and it's not just me, it's my other
colleagues as well, and I just feel like, you know,

(20:00):
I have to change something because me complaining about it
isn't helping. Oh. Absolutely, So you just feel like you're
you're at the dad end. You need to get out
of there. Yeah, I'm burnt out. I've been with the
company for five years, five and a half years now,
and I just, you know, I don't feel like it's
just stagnant, you know, and I'm just dear and it's

(20:22):
a very high level stress job. And I worked like
literally from like seven in the morning to like ten
at night, and I just feel like it's not worth
it anymore. Wow, Danielle, I totally hear. I hear you,
you know, And but you don't have another job lined up?
So is that what's kind of making your nervous a
little bit? Right? I do have, like I started my
own business um last year, but it's not enough, of course,

(20:46):
to to fully be able to be comfortable, you know,
leaving my full time job. So no, um, I actually
told my supervisor yesterday, I'm thinking about quitting. So I
gave her the morning already like, don't be surprised if
I do. Wow, me, is your supervisor thinking about quitting too?
She no, not necessarily, but she definitely wants to get

(21:10):
out as well. Um, you know, just on small conversations
like you can't leave without me, you know, small things
like that. Wow. So you know you did say something
at the beginning of the conversation, Danielle, and that was
I really feel like I should be training for something new.
So so you're not talking about immediately jumping into another
profession to make make a salary. You're talking about going
to school or what does that mean? Well, I would

(21:33):
really love to take my um my, my business, my
small business that I have. If I was able to
quit my job and take my small business, I know
that I would be able to be so much better
than what I am. I mean, so far with my business,
I have done, you know, pretty well for myself. I'm
in a local, well not a local, but a magazine

(21:53):
in Atlanta about my business. It's just I don't have
time to really do what I want to do with it.
So your side hustle sounds like the winner here. Yeah,
it really does. Yeah, yeah, I M I love, I
love what I do. I just don't have time because,
like I said, how often I work, can't take a vacation,

(22:14):
don't have time to vacation. And you know, just as
a parent, I just feel like I'm not able to
be there for my child because of how much I work.
So wow, so you're a mom too. Wow. Okay, there's
so many, so many layers here, but it's yeah, it
definitely sounds like you are ready. And you know, sometimes
people they can jump into it faster than others, so
you you feel like you're getting kind of crispy. If

(22:35):
you can make ends, meet with a child and start
hustling on your other job, go for it. It's good
to be scared. But you know, you also need to
pay the bills. So you know what this is the
fact that your supervisor is ready to jump ship. That's
enough for me. Okay, I've been in a position, and

(22:56):
I know Gandhi's been in that position too, and Froggy
as well. Where you're in a job and you hate it.
Is that what you're saying about. I love this job.
But what I did for myself I set myself a
date and I said Okay, either I'm going to have
something else by this date, or I'm quitting this job
and figuring it out. Set yourself a date when you

(23:17):
say this is it, this is d day, I'm going
to have something else, or I'm just leaving because your
health is more important than absolutely wrap. It's good advice
for day. Actually, that's actually what my plan is, Nate. Um.
I am determined not to be there next year, So
I'm giving myself for the risk of this year to

(23:39):
get everything in order so that way twenty twenty three,
I can have a fresh start, you know, no stress,
and I can and I can move on. Yeah, I
don't know, and I use your set a date for
July twenty nine, Yeah, that would be great. I did
play the lottery yesterday Apea. Hey, Danielle, I think just

(24:05):
being on with some friends and talking about it, I
think that's actually moving you a step closer. Yeah. Look,
it takes courage. It definitely takes courage, especially when you
have a kid, you know, and you're just kind of
the futures little that's a big question mark. You know,
you don't really know, but you know, sometimes you when
you jump in the pool, you gotta just trust there's
water in it and it's gonna be a good swim.

(24:26):
And you know what you deserve happiness. And you're at
a point in your life where you've worked for others,
you need to work for you. And you're in your
your family. Good for you. Great, you're in a great place.
You really are. Oh well, thank you. That puts a
smile on my face as I get ready to log
on to work. Yeah, log on to work, get your
get your stuff done. But you know, and it even

(24:46):
it kind of helps you get through the day with
a job you don't like if you just remember you're
not trapped right right, and you keep and you keep
focusing on that small business you were talking about, and
you put all of your energy that you can into it,
and it's gonna be so satisfying. If you can watch
that thing grow, that'd be awesome, Right, Danielle, you have
a great day. Do me a favorite text us, text

(25:07):
us and say, hey, it's Danielle. We talked, here's where
I am, and let us let us know how it progresses. Okay, okay,
I will hopefully I'll be able to take you out
with the I'm on vacation after working out yea. All right, Danielle,
thank you so much. It's a pleasure speaking with you.
Thank you all. Have a good day you too. There
you go. You know a lot of people are texting
it in that same exact position. You feel like you're stuck,

(25:29):
and it takes courage and sometimes a little like you
gotta be a little nutty. Just go. I'm gonna just
do it, you know what. It may be the biggest
mistake ever, but without taking that chance, you'll never know,
never know. I thought we're gonna talk about bitching airline people. Well,
we've got plenty of time for that after this. Well,
we have to get to Danielle report in the first

(25:49):
of the day. Danielle is not in Miami with us.
That's why she sounds great. You would think it'd be
the opposite of you, that you guys would sound better
than I would, because like, they bring the best equipment
with you. Jeff the engineer just shot me the finger.
Jeff spent up since two slaving away. Yes, I was
going to bed as you were getting out. It's crazy.
All right, let's go, Danielle. What do you have today?

(26:11):
All right? Well, Post Malone gets a documentary premiere date
August twelfth. That's when his concert tour documentary will premiere
on Amazon free v post Malone Runaway chronicles his thirty
seven day tour that he kicked off September twenty nineteen,
right before the pandemic shut everything down. And there's a
trailer if you want to check it out. But it

(26:32):
looks like it's going to be something very very special. Yeah,
this is pretty cool. We love him. So, Jack Osborne,
welcome's baby number four. I didn't even know he had three.
I thought he only had one. I don't know where
my head has been. But he posted a picture of
his new baby mate bowl to his Instagram on Wednesday,
So congratulations to Jack Osborne and his family. Sean Mendez

(26:54):
canceled the rest of his tour. He took to social yesterday.
If you guys remember the beginning of July, he took
a three week break. He said he was not ready
to get back on the road after the pandemic and be,
you know, so far away from family and he really
needed to like make sure that his mental health was
doing well. So now, he said, he spoke with his
team and he needs to be true to himself. He

(27:14):
says that I really need to ground myself and come
back stronger, and so he is canceling the rest of
his tour, so of course our best going out to him.
Jason Momoa is reportedly shaking up after that scary head
on crash with the motorcycle that I told you about
the other day. Right US Weekly says that he is
recovering well, but he is so shaken up by the
trauma of it all that he knows how lucky he

(27:36):
is to be alive right now. Beyonce's Renaissance was not
supposed to come out till tomorrow, but unfortunately it leaked
two days early. Did you yeah this show? Well, then
that's very good because you're making the Beyonce fans very
happy because they took the social to make sure that
nobody played it ahead of time, that nobody listened to

(27:57):
it ahead of time, that you stayed on track with
what beyond they wanted. I don't know if you saw
people posting like pictures of the actual CD that they
were buying in other countries like France, Well, if you
weren't in France, I don't think you have and it
was just crazy. But again, the loyal fans want you
to Danielle. That is Beyonce's baby. That's up to her
when she wants to give birth to that baby. It's

(28:18):
not up to us. It's not our business. Tomorrow. I mean,
I can't wait to hear it when it comes out
legally on her terms. Oh, Diamond said she heard it already. Diamond,
don't tell Diamond. No, no no, no, no no, no, no, we
didn't know one on our show heard it. Oh we
didn't hear Diamond. By the way, tomorrow, that's the c
section tomorrow, she's giving birth. Okay, Diamond's giving c section

(28:38):
birth tomorrow. No, this is really really cool. Two young
kids from the city of Rochester went to the Bill's
football camp on Tuesday and they didn't have hats or
jerseys for the players to sign. Well, Josh Allen, the quarterback,
was like, you know what, that is not cool. These
kids are not walking away without something. He took the

(28:59):
cleats off his signed them and gave them to the kids.
This is why I love it when like artists or
athletes or just actors do really cool things and make
people happy, and that stan shoes. So yeah, it's okay,
we'll take the thank you shoes. It's it's all good,
you can sign that. Exactly. What are we doing and
what are we watching tonight? Pretty Little Liars Original Sin

(29:20):
over on HBO Max. Discovery, Shark Week continues. Big Brother
Live is on as well at mccon series Fremiere. There
and that is my Danielle report. Yeah, the Why one
hundred Summer Pool Party. We're hosting it today here at
the Found Blue Miami Beach. If you have your tickets,
we are looking forward to seeing you. Uh, it's gonna
be a great day. It's gonna be like ninety and
very humid. Yeah, that's why we're here. That's why we came.

(29:42):
The Fountain Blues always always uh gosh, always the most
fun time. Right. I love it here. We do love this,
love this place. All right, we gotta take a break.
We're back right after this. Every day in the morning
to the s in the Morning show, The Big His
premieres are on HBO Max. Catch groundbreaking dramas like d

(30:04):
HBO Originals, Westworld and House of the Dragon, and don't
miss the new Max original series Pretty Little Liars Original
Sin Discover all of this and more on HBO Max
just nine ninety nine per month. Scared, we just sent
Scary out to get some croissons and some pastries. He
gets such a pusher when it comes to food. He's like,

(30:26):
so he went across the street to the Patisson and
you should see Danielle. He's like cramming croissons in our faces.
They're beautiful though. It's all instagrammable too, that's all that
matters to him. Hery, We're at dinner last night, Danielle
at Hukasan upstairs. You know I love that place. Yeah,
and uh, they brought this dessert out and Scary went,
whoa hold on, whipped his camera out. He said, this

(30:48):
is instagrammable dessert right here. Oh my god, we just
want to eat our dessert. No, no, it's instagrammable. I
was trying to get Elvis to stick his fork in
and it mess it up before Scary he get pictures,
but he must be nice to do it. Scurry also
admitted that the taste of something is not as important
as the look exactly. I mean, he would rather have
something that looks better, and the taste can be mediocre

(31:09):
as long as it's instagram summary of his life. He
doesn't care what things are like. He cares what they look. Well,
that's the thing about people who are like so into
the Graham and they're what are the influencers in the wild. Yeah,
I mean Danielle, you guys, don't you know someone who's
like that, where it's the visual, it's the optics before
it's the reality of what is you know? Yeah, yes, yeah,
I'm like, I would be so much more entertained if

(31:29):
you were just honest about your life than if you
tried to curate it to be this fake thing. Anyway,
moving on, so we got to talk about air travel yesterday. Look,
you know, we've seen stories for several years now about
how people are just unhinged. When we were up in
the sky or in the airport, you know, yeah, people
I saw two people yelling at the people at the

(31:51):
gate because they just weren't happy with where they were
sitting or whatever. And then there was a there were delays.
There were delays. Everyone had a delayterday. Yeah, we have
like four hours. Yeah you were delayed four hours. Yeah,
our flight was supposed to leave. Oh it was two
and a half hours somewhere in somewhere in there. Yeah.
Mine was delayed almost two hours too. Anyway, delays happened,

(32:11):
all right, I don't like them. No one does, but
people get unhinged. And I'm telling you on United Airlines yesterday,
the um, the flight attendants and the crew they were
they could not have been more patient and more helpful
with the nastiest irritating jerks. Oh my god, there's this
one woman on our plane who stormed up there. Why

(32:34):
are there no TVs in first class? It says, well, ma'am,
you know it's not all over aircraft have TVs. This
is an airbust. Whatever. We encourage you to bring your
phone or bring your iPad. You can watch what we've
got movies for free. I fly United. I know you're all.
You all have airplanes. Why this one doesn't? And she's like, ma'am,

(32:55):
we don't have airplanes. Another question, why is it unite?
People put their bags above my seat when they're sitting
in the back. It's so rude. And she said, ma'am,
if you need help with some of your luggage or whatever,
I'll help you with it. She said, you know, it's
a full flight. You know, we don't have a lot
of room. And this lady kept complaining over and over

(33:15):
and over and we're just all sitting there with our
just planting our faces in our hands, going good God,
let this end. And you guys had people like people
on their speaker phones talking to each other two ailes
away from each other. I recorded it because I didn't
think anyone was going to believe how absurd it was.
What exactly was this? So we were we were all

(33:35):
the way in the back of the plane, Nate and I,
and there was a family of people who decided to
I think it might have been their first venture on
a plane ever, I think. So they decided to talk
to each other on speaker phone. They were two rows apart,
so they weren't sitting near each other, two rows apart
screaming into the speaker phone at each other. So not
only do you hear them yelling, but then you hear

(33:56):
the delay of the speaker phone. And because they were
so close to each other, it was NonStop feedback. How
long did it last, Nate I would say fifteen to
twenty minutes. What were they yelling about? I don't know,
because the feedback all of a sudden, All of a sudden,
it's like a morning broadcast engineered by Jeff. Anyway, they

(34:20):
were yelling, our life's like a movie. This is crazy.
This is amazing. And they were dressed I would call
them like the Vinga boys. Do you remember what they
were dressed like? Like that is what they all looked like.
I'm like, am I in? Is this real life? For it?
For me? Right now? This is not happening. We'll check
to see if he was having a stroke again, what
is going on? It's just you know what air travel is.

(34:40):
It can be challenging enough with delays and whatever, and
you're cramped, and we understand that. But when you add
to the frustration by being an a hole, Oh my god.
So just keep this in mind next time you're on
a plane or in an airport and you feel like
you're about to like explode, You're about to go nuclear?
Oh yeah, don't. I told Nate I've never been closer
to standing up and screaming shut them up. He told

(35:02):
me I would probably get on a no fly list. Yeah,
which is fair. What's scary? And where where I was sitting.
I was in an arm wrestle with the guy in
the middle seat for the armrest. I was sitting against
the window and the middle seat guy who has no
privileges whatsoever. As the middle seat person decides to arm
wrestle met none of that. So Danielle M. Scary's assumption

(35:23):
is if you're in the middle seat, you don't deserve rights.
Here's why, because because nobody chooses to need more rights,
because that's an all. The reason why I feel this
way is because I feel like middle seat people didn't
plan and because no one chooses the middle seat right,
usually you end up there by default. So the people
in the middle seat never ever planned to be there,
so they're there last, so they didn't see if it's

(35:46):
a full plane, that's they only see left and they
need to get home to see their grandmother. But I
made this reservation two three months ago, whatever it was.
So if I'm in the window or an aisle and
I chose to be there, I get both. I get
my armrest. I don't have to be you know, the
middle person has to sit there and just take it. No,
that's not true. That's not true. It's not true for
I feel bad for the person in the middle too.

(36:08):
I think they should get every every arms. I think
they should at least get one. But scary, how do
you determine which one have a conversation? I don't know,
but they don't get no arm rests. Also anymore, when
you're booking through like third party apps, the only seats
that they will make available to you are the middle
seats unless you want to pay a lot more money.
It is your problem more money. I hate you. He's

(36:33):
not wrong. If you went always scary, let me say something,
what if it was an emergency in that parts? What
I had no choice? But they had to get on
the damn plane because there was a family problem. If
you go budget and scary s, oh my gosh, you're
a jerk. You're you're really, you're really kind of painting
a bad picture of your lack of soul. Oh my god,

(36:57):
have you no heart? People are texting you and sorry,
middle seats you get both armrests, don't get both. I
don't think you should get both either. But how do
you determine which one you get, because somebody on the
side of you is get to be screwed. The middle
seat is not a throne. You'll get both arms. We're
thinking it's such a bad seat. You at least you

(37:17):
can get it, and there's no way to share an
arm rest because then your arms touching that person's arm
that you don't know, and that feels very strange, especially
after they shave it like you. Oh my god. Anyway,
so Scary says, in not my problem. So we move on.
Oh and by the way, Nate and I were all
the way in the back suffering as all of this
stuff was going on, and Scary sending us pictures of
him like lounging. He had an outlet. We didn't even

(37:39):
have an outlet. It. I love the texts. He is
such a pompous ass hack. There's Scary's daily douchebag line
of the day. Look at that. I want to punch him.
I'm not bad. I'm not thinking friends at all. I
see did you see how you were going to with
that statement? You're this is very nice today it was

(38:02):
above ground pools today, middle seats. All right, I guess
is this what you want to be known for? I
guess it is because no, okay, okay, we move on.
We are at the Fountain Blue Miami Beach. We made it.
And let me tell you, we're sitting here bitching and
moaning about you know, awful, awful people on these flights.

(38:22):
Look at where you are right now. The sun is
coming up over the Atlantic Ocean. Specific yes, and in
the palm trees are swaying. I am grateful. Day is long. Um,
how do you turn anyway? People are jogging? Okay, that's
a little triggering. We're eating croissants. Every time I see

(38:42):
somebody jogging, I expect to see somebody chasing them after
they go by. Happened that person's jogging. Can't be running
this early on perfect with a computer anyway. We have
to get into the three things you need to know.
I do believe we have a thousand dollars free money.
Phone tap on the way. Let's go. Let's get into it. Gandhi,
What is going on right now? All right? Former President

(39:04):
Trump is asking a federal court to rule that he
has absolute immunity from lawsuits pertaining to the speech he
gave before the Capital riot, and documents filed yesterday, Trump's
attorney claims the actions of rioters on January sixth of
last year do not strip President Trump of immunity, and
that prior to the attack, Trump was acting well within
the scope of ordinary presidential action when he engaged in

(39:24):
open discussion about the integrity of the twenty twenty election.
The move comes as the Justice Department expands its probe
of the Capital riot to include Trump's actions. Good news,
a fifth person with HIV is possibly cured of the virus.
Really yes. At the International AIDS Conference in Montreal, researchers
presented a case in which a sixty six year old

(39:45):
American man had a stem cell transplant to treat blood cancer.
The same approach has showed success in four previous cases,
and uses of stem cells from donors with a specific
genetic abnormality that produces cells are naturally resistant to HIV
seems to be working. Five people. Now, Wow, Okay, we're
on our way, I know. And then this is really
exciting too. Researchers found fossils of small polyseasaurs in a

(40:09):
one hundred million year old river system that they think
the locknest monster. That makes them think the lockness monster
could be real really excited about this, Yes and Nassi.
In a press release, the University of Baths said the
discovery showed that the locknest monster was, on one level plausible.
The statement also says that the last polyseasaurs died out
sixty six million years ago, so this could be a

(40:31):
relative of theirs, but they are not ruling out that
there's something strange in the water. I love it. And
those are your three things. Finally something from my homeland
that's excited. There you go and you you and the
lockness Monty and Nessie from Scotland. All right, excellent, gandhi,
thank you very much. You're one thousand dollars. Free money
phone tap coming up right after this. The free money

(40:51):
phone Tap you were caller one hundred you just won
is coming up next. Ster In in in the Morning Show,
Free money phone Tap, No purchase necessary, boyd in Canada, Montana,
New Mexico, Washington and where We're inhibited. For more influ
and rules, go to elvisteran dotcom slash contests in the
Morning Show. Here we are at the Fountain Blue, Miami Beach.

(41:15):
Love this place. It's always like coming home. What a
beautiful day on the way, looking out at the at
the ocean and the palm trees and the pools are
waiting for us. I can't wait till we get out
there and watch scary swim Um. I gotta tell you
the Fountain Blue there, it's more than it's not a hotel.
It's it's a it's a place. It's it's it's a resort.
It's a resort, but it's it's a special special resort.

(41:38):
It's it's has such a beautiful history. And you know, God,
I've been coming here since I was a kid, and
it was around long before me, believe it or not
or not, And it's got a lot of stories, a
lot of stories in these hallways. Do you have a
few facts for us about the fun Fountain? Believe I do.
Do you know that there is more gray goose consumed

(41:59):
here at this hook tell than the entire country of
Japan every single year? Get out of shut up, no way, Wow, Okay,
they've they've got some catching up to do. Okay, all right,
dollar figure, how much do you think is sold in
alcohol in this property every single year? Oh god, it

(42:19):
must be one hundreds of millions of dollars, ninety million
dollars just in the alcohol. That's me. I'm half of
those those dollars. Any insane. There's a lot more going
on with the history of it. In the booze things,
the bar in the hotel, the Blue Bar that is
one of the most profitable bars in the world. I

(42:39):
get that they sell more alcohol out of that bar
than any worlds in the world. How many hours have
we stood in the Blue Bar. We've been there so
many nights, very late. We've closed that thing several nights.
I didn't even know what closed. That was surprised this
morning when we got up to walk to the broadcast
that they actually do close it off to kind of
like clean the floor and do all this stuff and
then it's open right again. It's already open again. Now
it's ready to go. It's like a casino, but it's

(43:00):
a bar anyway, the Fountain Blue. It's such a beautiful
place in what a great way of life here. So
next time you want to take a trip, if even
if you live here in South Florida, it's it's it's
worthy of like a night or two, just come over.
It really is a great place and the people who
work here could not be nicer. I love it. With
that said, should we rolled into the Phonetown, Yes, let's go.

And breakfast is great. Thank you breakfast people, the breakfast Fairy.

(50:32):
Let's let's say yeah. You know, Scary's so excited. Hey,
So we went to Hawcussan for dinner last night. I've
been there a million times. I love it. It's right
here at the Fountain Blue, one of my favorite restaurants.
I always ordered the duck. I love the ducky. You say,
I want the duck, and they what they do is
they bring out a duck. You look at Daniel, it's
all roasted, and they take it in the back and
they carve it right and it's perfect. The duck they

(50:54):
bring out is absolutely there is not anything out of
place on this duck. And they want you to see
it in this. They take it in the back, they
cave it for you and bring it out and you
make your your duck, pancakes everything. Hello. It's a stunt duck.
I mean it's a stunt duck because I saw I
saw him, and I have no problem with this. He
brought it out and we're like ooh ah, yeah, he went,
it's on the way, We're gonna go carve it for you.

(51:16):
Then he walked into the next room and we saw
him take the same duck to another table. So it's
just a it's like the stunt cake at the wedding,
like it's not a real game. They just fake. It's
like the fake TV monitors at IKEA say. Anyway, So yeah,
we came to the realization it's a stunt duck, and

(51:37):
I'm fine with it. When everybody realized it, it was
like heartbreak. Wait a second, right, that was our duck.
Where's that duck going? First? We're like, wait a second,
why is he thinking our duck to every table? I
bet that duck isn't even duck. I bet it. It's like,
I bet it's air brushed. Okay, do we know this
for a fat It's just stunt food. Absolutely. We made

(52:00):
somebody from the restaurant industry to call us because I've
also been at restaurants where they have that bronzino they
bring out the fish and I'm like, stunt, that's a
stunt fish, man, it's a stunt fish. Seventeen tables breathed
on our doctors and you know for a fact, and
you know, you know when they bring out that big
tray of desserts and they say I don't donate, that

(52:21):
that's not real and that those are stunt desserts. I mean, yeah,
this is food, man, you know, it's a whole world
would like extra golden colors and stuff like that. It
was beautiful. A food stylist designed the stunt duck and
it last and it was delicious. When we eat the
real duck, wow, I could tell it was. What's that noise? Third,
the lawn landscaping, you know what landscaping in the Fountain

(52:42):
Blue must be a lot of work because this place
is so beautiful. Okay, back to this fake food thing.
So I'm still flabergasted because I feel cheated now. I
feel that because I wanted to think that that duck
was prepared especially for me, and now I find out
it's not a real When you ate, yeah, it's fine,
and you ate, you ate every last bite of it

(53:04):
and you have no problem with it. So don't even start.
And secondly, you know, keep in mind when it comes
to table side presentation and restaurants, it's it's it's theater
is what it is. I love going to great old
school restaurants where they wheel out a cart and they
carve things, they blow them up with fire and stuff
and they serve you. I love that. But last night
it's a stunt duck. It played a role and it's

(53:25):
no different than the menu board when you go somewhere
and you know all that food on there was like
it's all pictures and sprayed with water and made it
glisten and look perfect. It's not the same thing when
they hand it to you, right, it's like David Copperfield.
It's like a trick like I wanted it is. It's theater.
Let it go, Okay, they've almost wrestled him to the
ground when he saw duck walking somewhere else. Pull yourself together.

(53:46):
It's started because you know, the guy shows as a
duck and then I'm the fifteen minutes later, I'm like, man,
it's taking hold on. I'm getting I'm getting get a
text from our efficiency experts. They're saying, we've gone way
too long about stunt duck. We have an efficiency X work.
Yes we do. You can't tell by listening to this,
but we do do what Oh no, no, I think

(54:08):
it's time for Danielle. If you want to move on
his dy is it time for Danielle? Oh? The second
you shut down the stunt duct talk, He's like, yeah,
move on to the ram. I'm in. I'll take direction.
Let's do it, my Danielle. Where do you start? You
have so much going on today? All right, well, let's
start with Drake. He is responding to his critics who
are saying that he took a fourteen minute private jet

(54:29):
ride from Toronto to Hamilton, and of course they were
saying that's not cool for the environment. You don't do
things like that. He said, this is just them moving
planes to whatever airport that they're being stored at. He said,
if you want to know the logistics, that's how it works.
He said, nobody takes that flight. This is an Instagram
post that he shared, and he also posted the headlines

(54:50):
of accusing him. Interesting. Only people that complain about that
stuff are the people who don't have their own plane.
That's most of us, most of us. Yeah, uh so.
Rockstar Games recently made an effort to clean up it's
frat boy image, both in the office and its title.
The Grand Theft Auto six story mode will feature the

(55:11):
first ever playable female character in the franchise. She will
be Latina and she will be in a storyline that's
influenced by Bonnie and Clyde. So, if you are a
fan of Grand Theft Auto, that is on the way
for you. Philly will be the host for russell Mania forty.
It was announced yesterday Lincoln Financial Field. It will happen

(55:33):
Saturday April sixth and Sunday April seventh, twenty twenty four.
That's when number forty happens. But Philly was so excited
and they are so proud to be hosting this. Let's
go awesome. Yeah that we have time. Oh I know
some people we can get conceiqued. Let's start research rehearsing
our throwing of the folding chairs. Oh can I throw up? Starry?
Can I break one over? Ted? Well? Last him? My

(55:53):
dead one. We went to one in Philly several years ago.
Did we didn't you get a chair? You got? Yes?
They gave us on We got to take the holding
chairs home. Ny, make sure it's a chair with armrests
when you get or Scary won't come. How cute is this?
So Lizzo got flowers from Harry styles, congratulating her on
her song about dan Time reaching number one. She was

(56:15):
very excited that the flowers are beautiful. By the way,
Jeff Bezosa's mom, Jackie, and stepdad just got ready for this.
Listen to this number. A twelve thousand plus square foot
home in Coral Gables, Florida thirty four million dollars, but
wage more roomers are that. They also purchased the house

(56:37):
next door for forty million dollars. I don't know why.
Maybe it's they don't want neighbors. I don't know, but
any why would that be the bigger one? Though we
got with the bigger one, I get dinner. They dumped
seventy three million dollars. And the house they live in
right now has like, you know, six bedrooms, seven bathrooms,
this huge kitchen, an indoor rock climbing wall. I mean,

(57:00):
who needs that in their house? And there's two people
two people? Yeah, yeah, yeah, But it's his parents. Are
they rock? Well? They could have grandkids maybe I don't
know they does He have brothers and sisters. But in
the nineties, his mom did invest in two hundred and
fifty thousand dollars worth of Amazon stock so she could

(57:24):
actually have a lot of her own money. It might
just not you know, might not just be her son's money.
Could be a lot of our own money because people invested. Then. Yeah,
so Asabari crashed his Mercedes made back. Oh, I don't
know this week at some point, so what happens. Of course,
your best friend Kanye buys you a new one. And
that's exactly what happened. He bought him a new one
and he took to Instagram to show us it was.

(57:44):
It was It's a pretty sweet car. Don't you think
it's absolutely car if you get a chance to check
it out. David Ortiz has a brand new business venture,
not just the Baseball Hall of Fame. He is doing
puppy cannabis. He has decided to make his own cannabis line.
He said that when he was playing baseball, it actually
helps him relax and sleep better and manage the stress

(58:06):
after playing baseball for all those deals, it kind of
healed him and it made him feel like a better person.
So that's why he wants to help other people. And
what are we watching? Discovery Shark Week, Big Brother is
Live and Pretty Little Io Pretty Little Liar's Original Sin
on HBO. Max and that was my Danielle report. Yeah,
back to stunt Duck for just a moment. We're getting
a lot of responses from a lot of people. For instance,

(58:26):
let's uh this text. I was on my honeymoon in Mexico.
They had a goat tied up by the entrance, so
I had goat for dinner. When we left, the goat
was gone. Oh my god. I don't think that was
a stunt goat. Yeah. But and Scary was talking earlier about,
you know, stunt cakes at weddings where it's a real
tall cake, like a cathedral of cake in reality, just

(58:49):
maybe the top tier is cake and the rest of
it's a styrofoam or something. I don't know. Dawn knows
more about stunt cakes than we do. She's online twenty
let's investigate, shall we. The more you know, Dan, Hello Dawn,
good morning, Good morning. I wish you were here at
the Fountain Blue with us. It's too so you you

(59:11):
know about stunt cakes. What do you do? Absolutely? My
daughter owns a bakery in Carmel, New York, which is
north of the city, and that's what they do. They
do styrofoam cakes covered with the fond in and then
in the back, like I believe it was Danielle saying
that they serve. You know, you get a stunt cake

(59:31):
in the front for displaying. In the back they have
sheet cakes that they cut up. Yeah, exactly. Have you
ever tried to carve the fiberglass cake or whatever it is? Yeah,
And the funny thing is, yeah, sometimes you're right that
they do that. But what we do is one of
the tiers. Usually the top tier is the one for cutting,

(59:53):
you know, so they could take a picture and look,
you know, the bride cuts the cake. Blah blah blah, right,
mush in her face, right, thank you. You can't cram
a stunt cake n someone's face. That would break her nose. No,
it is a trade secret. Well no longer. See when
you listen to our show, you learn all the trade secrets. Hey, Don,

(01:00:14):
thanks for listening to us. Next time you remind me
go to hawk us on and order the duck. Thank you.
Call about my daughter's baker is j mba cake studio.
Good bye, Alexagrin is going to invoice you down sales department.
All right, thank you so much, Don, You have a
great day. Thanks for listening to us. Bye, Thank you,

(01:00:37):
Thank you. I think Nikki You're and Tate McCray are
coming by soon. Yeah, is that happening in the next
hour or so? We're getting a maybe? Okay, Well, either way,
we're happy. We'll be back after this. Life from the
Fountain Blue, Miami Beach taste so good show with a
strawberry frosty time to enjoy yourself is built right in.

(01:00:58):
They're so rich and creamy. The ba basically built for
you to slow down and relax, just take it all in.
So when it's time for frosty time, and strawberry frosty
time is for a limited time, choose wisely choose Wendy's
limited time only at participating Wendy's I want you right,

(01:01:27):
I'm dying here. This is the weirdest show. This is
no historian in the morning show. Waking up at the
most beautiful Fountain Blue Limey Beach is such a wonderful
perk of this career we've chosen. It's such a great,
great place to be, wonderful people to hang out with,

(01:01:47):
and it's just beautiful and everyone who works here is
just so nice. We have questions that the Fountain Blue
is got a historical historical property. So you know, there's
got to be all sorts of stories. There's got to
be haunted rooms. They don't rent out anymore. Oh no,
they need to rent them to me. That's where Daniel
would they charge extra for the haunted rooms. Anyway, We

(01:02:08):
will get into that a little more in depth later on.
I'm about to get into food news with Froggy. A
couple other headlines. Let's see. Oh I read this, I
got very disappointed. Just five drinks a week can aid
you and damage your DNA. What too late for me?
The story the extravagant things rich people buy, I want

(01:02:32):
to hear some of them. Yes, yes, you could buy proxies.
People you pay to be you when you can't show
up somewhere you need one love to do that. They
show up, they take notes, They have limited amount of
the power given to them by the person who hired
them to be there on their behalf. That's cloning pets.
Another thing really rich people can in a heartbeat. I
would do that in a heartbeat. You can have pilots

(01:02:55):
on retainer just in case you need to get on
your jet and fly. I need to have more than
two ready to go, because you may be busy so far.
I love all this private doctors yeah hell yeah for
you and your family, and they just service you and
your family, and they have access to all the services
at hospitals and they can get you in quicker. This
is what the rich people have. Okay, Um, let's see

(01:03:17):
kidnap and ransom insurance for you and your family. I
know that is the thing. Wow, I don't know, we'll
never know. Why am I reading these things that we'll
never know? What's that day? I don't know if it's
worth being that rich if I have to have kidnap
and ransom insurance, you know what I mean? I think
the key is not to let anyone know you're that rich. Yes,

(01:03:40):
So like buying your mom and dad a seventy three
million dollar house. Yes, Like Jeff Bezos what we say
all the time. The people who walk around wearing like
giant chains and all the latest fashion, those are not
the really rich people. Really rich people just roll out
in a T shirt and a hoodie and some shorts
and you never know. That's it's right. You know what's
not on that list but middle airline seats? Yeah? Really,

(01:04:03):
going back to this again, we spend an hour on
it earlier. It's true. The uncomfortable money questions you need
to ask before getting married. Shall we go through these? Yeah? Yeah,
Are we going to have a prenup? Yeah? Absolutely? Yeah? Yeah?
I know what Daniel, what you no? I don't. I
don't need one. People that have a lot of money

(01:04:23):
need that, Daniel. Will you marry somebody if they ask
you to sign a prenup right now the way I
am and how much money I have? Yeah, or if
I was like ridiculously rich or they were, well, let
me answer that for you for a little bit. People
are getting prenups now, even if they don't have a
lot of money, right, that's yeah. No, You've got to
protect what you may have. UM question, we're gonna get married.

(01:04:45):
Do you support anyone financially or do you plan to? Like,
in other words, do you have someone on the side
that you're like a family member that you're supporting my
kids or maybe an X that you still have to
take care of it? Yeah? I need to know about that, yeah,
Or will anyone pop up in the future. You are
saying they're your baby mama. Do you expect us to
manage our finances jointly or separately? Separately me too. Yeah, yeah,

(01:05:09):
like Daniel, I do we have both? Okay, uh, here's one.
What do you like to splurge on myself all the time?
Here's one. If we're gonna get married, could one of
us be a stay at home parent if we have children? No? Oh, no,
okay are you retiring for are you saving for retirement?

(01:05:32):
That's a good question. Yeah. Do you think Sam and
William have a prenup or are they signing a prenup?
Because have you guys talked about a prenup? A lot
of these questions have not been addressed yet, including that one. No, well,
you're already getting married, so yeah, you know it's happening. Yeah,
I mean I William, Um, I think we should get
a prenup. So let's just say you really do real seriously?

(01:05:55):
I mean yeah, But we've also talked about it's not necessarily,
like Elvis said, because of exactly like what you have
like right now. Yeah, there's a there's a bunch of
different reasons. So wow, yeah, who gets the dog? That's
that's every once in a while I like to look
Savannah in the eye and say, you know, your dad
didn't even want you. I had to drag you in
this house kicking. Savannah will not have the final say.

(01:06:19):
The attorneys go, all right, let's get and let's go
around the room and then we're gonna do some food
news with Froggy and guests today. Um, let's go around
the room. Music music, Here we go wrote a song
about it. Let's make our own music. I think what's
happening is I'm going out of order. They Nate and

(01:06:42):
Garrett had already planned this break, and of course I
came in and just I've parted on the elevators. Speaking up,
let's move on around the room. Daniel, what's on your
mind today? All right? So I have two special birthdays today.
One is my brother Roy. Happy birthday to Roy. We
love you so much. But my son Spencer turned seventeen

(01:07:03):
years old today. And I swear to gosh, when they
tell you, oh, you get a blanket, it's gonna be
and you're like, yeah, right, can't go that fast. It
goes so freaking fast, it's insane. But I'm so proud
of him, my husband and I and his brother. He's
just an amazing, amazing kid. You guys all know him.
He loves you, guys, and he just you know, I

(01:07:24):
don't know. He's so special. So happy birthday, Spenny. We
love you so much. Happy birthday, Spy. Birthday Spencer. You're
a great mom a great dad in there too. Hey,
what's up, Gandhi? I have two things that I would
like you to go and check out at my Instagram
page at Baby Hot Sauce. The first one, Elvis, you
always accuse us of not working, So I posted a
video of exactly what we're doing when you accuse us

(01:07:44):
of not working. Okay, and it's really not working. We
spent a really long time yesterday catching skittles in our
mouth fire we did, and there's a surprise at the end.
And the second is Nate Marino being a real American hero.
I just want to salute him because yesterday we know
we all get annoyed with the aisle runners on a
plane that as soon as the plane lands and people

(01:08:05):
from the back sprint to the front. Yes, Nate said,
not on my watch, and he stepped out into the
middle of the aisle and blocked everybody. Right, you're an
aisle runner, bocker. My superpower blocked everybody and I took
a picture. There was a moment where he had his
backpack on, and the guy behind him was trying to
get it past him so desperately. It looks like he's
in a prom pose holding Nate. Nate turns around and goes, hey,

(01:08:28):
we're all trying to get off this plane. It's so good,
So I love you, Nate. Good job. This is why
I was so happy to get off that awful plane
that just it was just people who broke out of
an asylum, and I came. As soon as I walked
through the doors of the Fountain Blow, I'm like, oh,
this is so much better. Yes, I wish we could
put wings on this baby and fly at home. Hey,

(01:08:49):
what's up, Froggy. So yesterday I did something very old nanny.
Flying at the airport, I got out of my car.
I took a picture on my phone of where I
parked my car so I would know how to get
back there, because nothing wrong with that. I'm not doing
what I did last time, where I walked around the
whole parking lot all sixty two rows to try to
find my car. Have to do that one time. Actually,
we parked at Fort Lauderdale Report and we couldn't find

(01:09:10):
our card. We called the police and they finally showed up.
You parked one story up. Last time we part there.
It was so stupid. Last time we parked there, we
couldn't find our car. I turned around, I look at Lisa.
She's over sitting on a curb crying. I'm like, what
are you crying for? Like, we're gonna find the car
right now. It's insured. Oh that's not happening this time. Hey, producer, Sam,

(01:09:31):
what's up? All right? I'm a double down talking about
my dog Savannah because my fiance did not think that
he was ready because it dog's a huge responsibility. It's
totally true. But if you know that you are just
going to love that thing so much, and you consider
yourself a responsible person and you're considering adopting a dog,
I highly recommend it because right now, between me and Savannah,

(01:09:52):
William would choose Savannah and I would too, So I
don't I don't blame him. So you know, he was
super scared, but it's the biggest payoff as if his life.
So go adopt that dog. It's a very very special
kind of love. Tell you, until you have one, you
don't understand it. And they are a lot of work,
but two of them are two dogs are four times
the amount of what I know. Yeah, we had to
take the dogs to the sitter, so I had to

(01:10:13):
stay at the house by myself, and it was the
most lonely night of my life. You have been talking
about your dogs like new moms who leave their baby
for the first time, Like, oh, I miss my dogs, Almo,
I can't do this. I hate people love dogs. What's up? Scary?
Never underestimate the importance of a good shower head. When
I hope, I'm sorry, I finished. When I'm home in

(01:10:34):
my personal shower, it's weak and I'm dragging my wagon.
Let me tell you, I woke up this morning here
at the Fountain Blue and it is powerful. It is
strong shower power. Yeah, I am so learned. I'm so awake,
and I'm like, it's because of this good shower head
that I that that that was there this morning and
in my room. So yes, get yourself invest in a
good shower head. Standing ovation for shower head. Everyone they

(01:10:59):
are they're they're called the Speedman's Is that the name
of it. It's like a famous brand. I don't know,
you know they have him here. It's next level. Yeah,
you gotta be careful though it'll blow you into the
next room. Hey, uh, straight night, what's okay? If you're
an older gentleman with white hair and a white beard,
there must be a very heavy duty, unspoken responsibility that
you are one of Santa's helpers. Because I was in

(01:11:20):
the airport yesterday and there was an older gentleman with
a big white beard, and this little girl came up
peeking around and he just waved and winked and it
was the cutest thing ever. But if you're an older
guy with a white beard, you must know that you're
one of Santa's helpers and you play along. But do
you have to be a certain size? Like Jolly? He

(01:11:41):
was definitely Jolly because I passed for the big guy himself,
Like older with white hair and a white beard. That's
like Zaddi stuff that's really hot when he's going through TSA.
Did his I d say, Chris Kringle. So anyway, I
would love to talk to an older guy with a
white beard at some point to see if that's an
unspoken room. You're sitting x away. By the way, you're

(01:12:02):
doing something that is irritating the living. Okay, this is
my coffee cup. I put my lips on it to drink.
He's writing notes and putting them on my coffee cup.
It's like he's like, you're putting your your sneaker in
my food. What do you do? I'm sorry, we got
a lot of stuffs. These are notes. H it says
eight sixteen. You can take this break longer. Oh okay, great,
we haven't done food news. It's time for food tidy.

(01:12:25):
Let's go. Sorry about to mix up their Garrett. Hey,
Froggy over here, Froggy over, It's excellent, love the intro.
Let's move on, here we go. You can fade that
without and froggy. It's all You live from the Fountain
Blue Miami Beach. All right. In case you have been
under a rock, you know, the Klondike has discontinued the

(01:12:45):
Choco Taco. People are very upset about it. Klondike wants
you to try their other offerings of ice cream. However,
I want you to know that right now somebody is
offering a Choco taco on eBay for one thousand dollars.
I'll pay two thousands. So if you need a Choco taco, understand,
you might have to go to eBay. Danielle the story

(01:13:07):
is for you and I and the haters. They can
be mad all they want. Candy corn is something that
seems to upset people, and most people are very divided
on candy corn. Yes, either once again, I love it
or hate it. Yeah. Well, Danielle, there's a new Tailgate
mix Bros. Tailgate Candy Corn. It is a mixture of
fruit punch, vanilla, ice cream, popcorn, hot dog, and Hamburger.

(01:13:33):
Why do they have to mess it up with the
hot dog in Hamburger? What the hell's wrong with them?
I think I'm out on this as well. I don't know.
I haven't tried to get. When I do, I'll let
you know. They are also saying a brand new one
called Turkey Dinner will be on the at its best.
Candy corn taste like a flavored candle. It's a flavored candy.

(01:13:55):
Subway's got this new thing going called the Subway Series.
It's a lineup of twelve signature sam which is and
they are offering you a chance to have lifetime free Subway.
But here's what you have to do. If you want
it for a lifetime, you need a twelve by twelve
tattoo on your body of the new Subway series. Go. Yes,
if you would like to just have it for a month,

(01:14:17):
you could get a two by two and that has
to be on your wrist, bicep, or your foot, or
a three by three tattoo on your shoulder, blade, forearm
or cat will get you free subs for one year.
So if you need free food for a year, you
got a tattoo the subway logo on your body in
the place that they determine, and you can get free
subs by twelve. Yeah, where am I gonna put that? Oh,
never mind, that doesn't count. I'm gonna throw it over

(01:14:41):
Scottie be my serial correspondent. He's got some cinnamon toast crunch.
You have a serial correspond who doesn't. Yeah, this was
just announced yesterday. Actually they are marketing it as a snack.
It's called Cina Fuego toast crunch and it is cinnamon
toast crunch in a pouch with a traditional cina dust.
But it also has some heat to it. So the

(01:15:01):
people at General Mills are saying, if you dare, eat
it with some milk for breakfast, So it's not really
your breakfast food, but could you imagine pretty I guess
you know when things are really hot, you're supposed to
have milk with it, right, Yeah, so that will probably
help out here. And that is available starting August twelfth
walmart dot com for a limited time. Nice, thank you,
Scotty B. All right, it's time for the countdown, folks.
It what do we count that's all ruining, all right

(01:15:22):
today I'm not doing the countdown. It is a celebrity version.
Oh right, here, baby Nate is doing today's countdown. That's
the celebrity we had. Close enough, all right, what is
your countdown? My countdown is very subjectively my tie top
five chocolate milks in the Northeast. You who, yes, not
on chocolate water. Doesn't even qualify you. Who's chocolate water? Yeah,

(01:15:42):
I'm just trying to ruin his countdowns. QUI running? Okay?
That is number five? That is it? Yeah, this is
quick or syrup. They don't really qualify as a chocolate milk,
but close enough. They come in at number five. Number
four Fair Life lactose free. Yeah, quite tasty. Is still
not my top three is amazing, it's okay, okay, number

(01:16:04):
three you're guys, guys, you're debating chocolate milk. Let's three.
It's one percent and it's fantastic. Wegmans they do a
great chocolate milk. If you haven't ever tried it, give
Wegmans chocolate milk a try. Number two, the low fat
Burn Dairy Chocolate milk. It is quite excellent, but not
nearly as good as number one, the whole fat version

(01:16:27):
of the Burn Dairy chocolate milk. I'm sorry they take
number one and number two in my countdown. They are that.
In fact, they are the efficient chocolate milk of the
New York State Fair. You know, our buddy Taylor Jukes
is here from Y one hundred. Can you actually track
when when our ratings dip, like in an hour? And

(01:16:48):
look at the segment we just did was accountdown. It
wasn't all the food. No It's gonna be like visiting
the Grand Canyon. It's gonna chocolate. Noah, listening to our
show right now? Okay, well, thank you you asked. He
gave me the countdown. One of the three things we
need to know. One of our special guests, Nikki Jore,

(01:17:09):
is here. Want to meet him. He jumped into my
DMS the other day. We're like best friends anyway, performing
at our Y one hundred summer pool party later on
here at the found Blue The three things we need
to know right now, Gandhi, what's going on? Eastern Kentucky
is bracing four damages after being hit with torrential rain overnight.
One meteorologist tweeted early this morning, I don't have the

(01:17:30):
words to describe the amount of devastation daylight will uncover
across eastern Kentucky. He added that the flash flooding will
likely go down as one of the worst flooding events
to ever hit the state. The National Weather Service issued
nearly two dozen weather alerts for the area and warned
of life threatening flash flooding in multiple counties. The storms
are reported to have dropped at least ten inches of
rain overnight. Former Democrats and Republicans are starting a new

(01:17:55):
political party. The Forward Party is being co chaired by
former Democratic president sidential candidate Andrew Yang and former Republican
Governor of New Jersey Christine Todd Whitman. Founding members of
the Forward Party say it's aimed at millions of US
voters who are dismayed with what they see as a
dysfunctional two party system. The new party plans on holding

(01:18:15):
dozens of events this fall to roll out its platform.
The official launch of the Forward Party will be September
twenty fourth in Houston. And finally, big news for travel,
JetBlue Airways has made a deal to buy Spirit Airlines
for three point eight billion dollars. The agreement, announced today
comes hours after Spirit scrapped plans to merge with Frontier Airlines.
Jet blues acquisition of the discount carrier would create the

(01:18:37):
country's fifth largest airline. If regulators approve the deal, it
would leave Frontier as the biggest discount airline left in
the US. And those are your three things. More planes,
more unhenged travelers, Dear God, no fabulous. All right, we
are here for very specific reason, the Why one hundred
Summer Pool Party. It's happening today to Found Blue Miami Beach,
and we have some incredible music right there in front

(01:18:59):
of everyone, to naked people watching music. What could be better?
Nikki yours one of our guests, and we're gonna talk
to him coming up after this. What up? What up?
Is jay Z? What's Machine Kelly? With Elvis Duran in
the morning shot. The biggest premieres are on HBO Max
catch groundbreaking dramas like d HBO originals Westworld and House

(01:19:22):
of the Dragon, and don't miss the new Max original
series Pretty Little Liars Original Sin. Discover all of this
and more on HBO Max just nine ninety nine per month,
Blue Miami Beach. So excited to come home? Nikki yours
here performing on stage for the third time in his
career today. Are you little nervous about that? I'm a
little nervous, Yeah, not not too bad, I don't. I

(01:19:45):
don't think you're You don't look like the nervous type
to me. Oh, I'm definitely the nervous type, but not
not to like an extent that's gonna like disable me
to perform him and do my best. What's it like
when you're doing your song up they're on the stage,
You're doing Sunroof, Yeah, and they're they all singing louder
than you, and they're singing your words louder than you're
you're singing your words. No, that's it. That's like the
craziest feeling ever, I think, because it's like a song

(01:20:07):
I wrote, you know, by myself in my bedroom one night,
and now people are able to enjoy it with Like
I did a show with like ten thousand Ish people probably,
and like a good chunk of them we're singing along.
So it's like like just a sick feeling that it's
like they do your job for you. Yeah, I know,
it's like I'll just stop. You guys can do what
you guys get up here all what's that joke? Have

(01:20:27):
you heard? Or do you know who's singing this? And
then you say let them keep going keeping whatever? Favorite anyway,
you know what. We were just talking during the song
and Nate was bringing up some great questions. I'm going
to steal them all now. Gave it to me. I mean,

(01:20:47):
when it comes to like okay, I need to get
on the road, we need to stand in from some
sup of our fans. We got to sing. Is there
some sort of like is there someone who trains there's
like a consultant that says, here's what you need to
do to have great strong stage presence, or you just
go up there and do it. Um. In my case,
I kind of just went up there and did it.
I like rehearse with my team and like you know,

(01:21:10):
my band and stuff, and we'd talk about like how
it can be like more energetic or like random things
like that. Um. But I'm sure there are like coaches
for this type of stuff, I would think, because sometimes
you'll see you a rock band in the league guitarist
always makes those crazy orgasmic faces. Yeah, if someone teach
him to do that, now, that's the music just like
flowing out of it. Were there people that you watched

(01:21:33):
growing up? Were the people you watched on stage as
a fan that you said, hey, I'll do that, or
is there somebody now that you think I saw this
That's what I'm doing. Um, you know, not really. I
honestly have been to like five to ten concerts in
my life, so like, yeah, what is your favorite concert,
favorite concert of all time? I mean my favorite one

(01:21:54):
was Maddie on at Coachella, but like that's edm and
like not you know, pop track, I guess, but um,
I don't know who. I think, like I saw Kyle
once and he was super sick. That was like my
favorite person at the time. So that was like twenty sixteen.
Probably that was a good time. Have you always wanted
to do this or is like this just happened to you?

(01:22:16):
Um No, it is definitely something that like I've always
wanted to do. I think my earliest memory is like
I was singing Bruno Mars grenade and my mom was
like a sleep right next to me, and I was
on her phone when I was like ten or something
like that. Wow, and she woke up. She was like,
what are you doing? Um? And I think, like, you know,
I just always thought it was like something that could

(01:22:38):
potentially happen one day, but like, you know, realistically, no,
So I've always been like a realistic person. I got
like a job out of college, and what was your job?
I was working at Dell Technologies selling computers hardware software. Okay, yeah,
I was basking robins And that's cool too. You had
a better gig. It's it's easy for us to sit

(01:23:02):
here and just go up with questions about what you do,
because you know, we're trying to understand it better. Yeah,
but you know, I must take it back to your story,
which is basically a guy who liked to write music
and then started performing it and now he's on a
stage in Miami. It's like, would you ever wake up? Well,
how did I get here? What did that time? Yeah? Yeah,
I know like every day the last like six months,

(01:23:23):
Like I think I have so many friends that you know,
are still trying to do what I do, like from
high school and stuff, and I just feel very blessed.
I suppose to like be able to wake up and
actually do it. I think we all, I think everyone
around this table right now is extremely blessed. Yeah you know. Yeah,
Now here's another one. How do you feel about people
six people asking rapid fire questions at one hundred miles

(01:23:46):
per hour? Because that's what's happening to your right. Yeah. No,
now it's now, it's good, But before it was, it
was pretty freaky for a little bit. It took me, like,
you know, you know, five interviews before I like was like, all,
I feel like pretty decent. You just get to remind
yousel is there media training? I think there's media training.
And I did that with a very lovely, very lovely person,
and she helped me a ton. But my first like

(01:24:08):
two or three weren't with her so or before that,
and uh, we're before her, and those ones were pretty rough.
We were trying to stress them out in the commercials
break Yeah, they were rapid fire. Tell us your water pole.
He doesn't get stressed. I'll have been the questions we're
asking you. Now, what's the dumbest question. You've ever been
asked that one? Right there? Um, honestly my least favorite question,

(01:24:32):
and it's asked every time because it's not a bad question.
It's like a very you know, fair question, is just
how do you feel about like all of this, like
or like did you expect it? Because it's like obviously
I didn't expect it, and like obviously, like I feel
amazing because it's like the coolest thing. That was my
nict question. Fine, but it's a very fair question. So

(01:24:54):
I don't know, you know, it's fascinating to me to
see an artist sitting down doing it early in the
morning radio show and saying, yeah, tonight it's my first,
my third concert, and then we just we don't have questions,
we have no idea where we're going with this. Yeah,
but you you're really great at leading us to the
next question. Thank you. And that's what they teach you

(01:25:14):
in media training, I guess, is like only tell them
what you want them to know. Yeah, yeah, I know.
It's a thing. It's called like leading or I don't know, yeah,
something like that. You're leading very well. Again, by the way,
if you're just if you're just turning us on, this
is Nikki, your sunroof is on the way. He's performing
at the Why one hundred Summer pool party today. Um
go rapid fire, embarrass him, let's throw him off. Well,
this is my favorite time to catch artists because it's

(01:25:37):
the beginning and you're so excited and we have a
pool party coming today to be so sick. Are you
ready for it? I'm ready for it. I've never been
to Miami either, so this is like your first time.
It's my first Miami pool party. And yeah, was everyone
like what? I don't know, people's shocking. I thought he
would have done it like one hundred times. He's famous. Well, okay,

(01:25:57):
thank you, Nick, We're getting I know you look at
the artists that've been around for a while and you
see that, I mean, did go on like scruciating tours.
Oh you're sleeping in a different hotel room every single
night and they are like waking up and saying hello
and forgetting who they're talking to. Is this dayton? Where
are we? Yeah? What time is it? It's gonna be
like a cool and a weird thing for you to

(01:26:20):
see what everybody does with your music online. Because we
were talking about this. My most watched video on Instagram
has your song in it. Do you see some stuff
that people have done and you just think, damn it,
get that off of there? Or do you love it? Um,
There's definitely been some weird ones. I'm trying to remember.
I was just talking to my friend about one and

(01:26:40):
I can't remember the exactly, but there are definitely some
videos where I'm like, all right, I don't love like
my song being represented by this, but it's like out
of my control. And if I'm going to release anything
onto the internet, like, I have to be willing to
accept kind of what happens to it at some point.
So challenge on, Yeah, we're gonna do next crazy video that. Well,

(01:27:03):
I'm sorry, Daniel, what was on It's okay? Did you
say that there was like twenty something different versions of
the song before you put this one out? Yeah, there's
there was twenty three different versions before I put it out, um,
and they were all just like very slight, like different
airs or I mean, a different things going on with
each one. Um. Like the first one was originally in
a lower key, so it was like way more boring

(01:27:23):
and like less exciting, and I just knew it was
like a special thing. So I really wanted to get
it feeling good. Yeah. Now, well you know in in
the steps step the footsteps of Gandhi what you say
said a second ago? I can't talk. It's great to
meet you at this point in your career, and we're
going to be rooting for you when you're on the
stage by the pool the fountain blue. Yeah. Do you

(01:27:45):
I have to tell them about my boring story. It's
not boring. I was conceived in that room right up there,
and so during the interview, during your song, I want
you to look up there and just kind of imagine
my mom and dad going for it. Sure, you imagine
that it is. It is a you know, if you're

(01:28:07):
going to beat like a good side or you can
see do it here at the film. It's a pleasure
to have you here. Thank you so much. Thanks for
having you. Want to hear some ni. Yeah, what's going on? Guys? Hey,

Elvis Show. You know, there's so much going on at
the Fountain Blue Miami Beach today every day and has
been going on for years. This place is it's a

(01:29:32):
piece of history for a lot of us for different reasons,
and for people who come and visit The Fountain Blue
for the very first time, it's for celebrating, celebrating a
new relationship, celebrating the loss of a loved one. You
want to get the foundly together. It's just a really
wonderful place. And we're going to get into some of
the foundational thoughts and concepts of the Fountain Blue with

(01:29:52):
Josh Herman, the vice president of Marketing PR And just
a second first, Danielle, we wish you were here. I know,
I wish I was there too, you know which, I
love that place. I'm sure being in your basement about
the same as being as the Fountain Boys. Yeah, yeah,
just like all right, daniel you're on what do you
have this hour? All right? So, Sean Mendez has canceled
the rest of his tour. If you remember, back in July,

(01:30:13):
he said he was taking a three week break. He
wasn't ready to get back on the road after COVID
and didn't want to be away from the family. He
said that his mental health, you know, was very important
at the time, making sure it was in check well.
He spoke with his team and his health professionals, and
he said, you know what, he needs to take off
more time. So he's canceled the tour. He said he
is going to grow and he's going to be back
even stronger. So our best going out to him. So

(01:30:35):
two young men from the city of Rochester went to
the Bill's football camp on Tuesday. They didn't have hats,
they didn't have a jersey for the players to sign.
So quarterback Josh Allen went out of his way to say,
you know what, this is not happening. These boys need something.
He took off his own cleats from his feet and
he signed them and he made sure those boys had
something to go home with. I thought that was so

(01:30:56):
sweet and so cool. I'm sure by now maybe i've
heard it. Maybe you've seen that Beyonce's Renaissance album leaked yesterday,
two days early. Her most loyal fans aren't telling everyone
not to listen to it. Obviously, they said, you have
the way, you have to be patient, wait until Friday.
But I saw a lot of pictures online of people
holding the hard CDs in their hand that they bought

(01:31:18):
from a scot You didn't see us holding that. No,
we would never, we would never do it was not
up and what are we watching? Well, it's all about
Shark Week still and Big Brother Live. And that's my
Danielle report. Danielle, we wish you were here at the
Fountain Blue. Me too, I do. You've left me alone
with the guys. I know. I'm sorry. You're having the
best time. Josh Herman, the vice president of marketing and
pr is with us. Thank you for coming on the show,
Thanks for having us. I can't believe you made me

(01:31:40):
follow Nikki or that. Guys. Holy cow. You know my
fourteen year old daughter is going to be here today
celebrating her birthday. You will hear her screaming sunroof all
the way across the world. No, obviously this makes you
like a Blue ribband dad, because you get to bring
her up here with all these superstars are hanging out.
She will love me from five o'clock to five or
five that I'm not cool anymore. You know, the Fountain

(01:32:01):
Blue has been around for a long time, and so
many things have happened in these four many walls. And
one of the things known for every New Year's Eve
a massive New Year's z performance by someone And I'm
sure you guys keep it a guarded secret until the
last minute. Well, you're usually the first person to tell
the world. Okay, let's get that whole literally, little early,

(01:32:22):
little early, And we've had some amazing acts from Justin Bieber,
the Weekend Doja Cat last year. It's you know, it's
the biggest party of the year. From it. As soon
as you're ready to tie holge, let us know, you'll
be my first call. Okay, let's talk about the history
of the Found Blue. It was built in the original
part of the films. It was built in what year,
nineteen fifty four, um, the original owner, Ben Novak and

(01:32:42):
his family um met somebody named Morris Lapidus. He's the
original designer of the hotel, and he hadn't really built
any buildings. He was a movie set designer, right, and
he you know, you get a lot of that vibe here, right,
it's a movie set, you know. One of his famous
sayings is the stages you always live your part. He
wanted everybody to feel on a stage, and he sat
down with Ben Novak and sketched out his vision of

(01:33:03):
the Fountain Blue and that big curve that you see
in the building on a napkin over dinner and was
hired on the spot. You know, ben Novak convinced him
to build it. Honestly, he was almost laughed out of
the business. People didn't build curve buildings like this, right,
and he did it because he wanted you to have
that sense of anticipation, to never know what's ahead. So
think of it when you're walking to your room. You know,
your room in a normal hotel, all the way down

(01:33:24):
the hallway, you don't know where you're going. Now, you
don't know where it is, And there's that anticipation going
around all the curves of Fountain Bloom. There is so
much thought that goes into a piece of art like this.
It's like you're living in a piece of artwork. It's
just amazing. Okay, everywhere you go at the Fountain Blue,
it's like when you go to Disney World. You see
the ears Mickey Mickey's ears everywhere right hidden sometimes here

(01:33:47):
it's a fountain Blue. It's all the black bow tie.
You see it in the tiles in the elevator, you
see it on the walls, you see it on the
boxes of course salts. What is the story behind the
black bow tie? It's a fountain blow sure's it's it's
a simple story. Morris Slappet's actually wore a bow tie.
He wore a tucks and a bow tie everywhere he went.
So every picture you'll ever see of him, he's wearing
his bow tie. And he put that signature element in

(01:34:09):
the floors when they opened a nineteen fifty four and
when when our current owner, mister Soper bought the property,
you know, he really wanted to be a steward of
history here and rebuild Fountain Blue into what it was
in nineteen fifty four. So you see all the original
bow ties all over the floor everywhere. Our bow tie
pool outside we have, you know, we make brownies in
the shape of bow tie. There. It's it's everywhere. It's

(01:34:31):
really the Fountain Blue signature. You think of the curb building,
think of bow ties, you think of chandeliers, and you
think of amazing entertainment. And you know what, unlike the
days of yesteryear, we don't really wear a lot of
bow ties these days, but you can you can actually
go back in time with the Fountain Blue and you
can imagine what it was like when you know, at night,
when all the men would wear a bow tie for
dinner and let's just bring it back. We do sell

(01:34:52):
clip on yeah, okay, they're very very complicated party. I'm
want to wear a clip on all my black Walmart
T shirt. Yeah, it makes sense. I think bathing suit
shirt lists both times. I think that's the look for
today's both parties. Okay, now, Josh, let's let's get to
the nitty gritty. Are their stories of hauntings at the
Fountain Blue? Oh? Ummm wow, um, not that I have heard. Actually,

(01:35:18):
I think you stunted me. Um. You know he's lying,
I know. Tell us that Danielle wants the ghost Frank Sinatra.
Daniel would actually pay more for a room that is
reported to be haunted. So he's a lot of money
and ghost stories. So even if there isn't a haunted room,
pretend there is one in charge more. That's it's all theater.
We could declare that that great Elvis conception room is

(01:35:40):
the hard the ghost of my mom and dad naked.
I don't know if that's your thanks, Josh, thanks for
that visual. Okay, come on, Fountain Blue, Fountain Blue. I
know you had a couple of facts you wanted to
talk about. Oh, you were talking about the alcohol. Oh yeah,
sales facts. I learned these from Josh so Oh yeah.

(01:36:00):
Ninety million dollars a year in alcohol sold in this hotel.
That is unbelievable. It's hot, people are thirsty again. But
the fact that really was it was shocking to me,
was they sell more gray goose on this property than
the entire country of Japan every single year. That's crazy.
In fact, I mean that's that's you know Fountain Blue.

(01:36:20):
People come here to relax, to have fun. It's an
energetic property. Um. You know, we have amazing you know,
culinary team, bartenders. They come up with some cool creations
and we're fortunate to have lived in Blue Bar and
all these amazing outlets that you know that that definitely
uh pour very well, it's amazing. What's the most expensive
night at live that you have heard of? Oh boy,

(01:36:43):
you know when um when the Mavericks won the championship
here in Miami and uh Mark Cuban um put down
this credit card. There you go spent a lot of money.
I think that's that's probably one of the big could
have been the big win. What was the ballpark of
that charge? That secret dies with? People do come here

(01:37:04):
to celebrate all kinds of things, But is there one
thing people celebrate more than others? Is like bachelorette parties, honeymoons.
That's a that's a great question. You know. The beauty
of founta Blue, it's it's really for everybody, and all
different types of people enjoy it. Whether it is bachelotte parties,
bachelor parties, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, honeymoons. It's it's a perfect
place to celebrate. Um. You'll see lots and lots of

(01:37:25):
bachelor and bachelotte parties every weekend here. That's a big one. Um,
And that's that's part of Fount Blue. It's a it's
a fun place to get together and celebrate, no matter
what it is you're celebrating. We love that here. It's
an amazing, amazing place. And you know, if you don't,
you should visit it at least once in your life.
You really should. The fountin Blue is just incredible and
the memories we have here are just amazing, right, Danielle, Yeah,

(01:37:47):
I want to know if there's like a common fake
name that celebrities use when they check it. Yeah, Well,
you guys are asking these questions. Watch romes are they
in right now because he knows it all. He's gonna
tell us. If you think I'm going to tell you that,
give us one, just give us one. Nikki your well,

(01:38:08):
I A should go look up. What what's his faith name?
You should have asked him that. That could have been
one of those great questions. What's his stage name? Daniel's
son turned seventeen today. That's why she did not fly down,
But we think she should have brought him down. It's
time for him to learn some things that seventeen year
old boys learned the Fountain Blue. Oh yeah, we'll leave
it at that. Whatever that means, I don't know. And
that's another thing. You come to the Fountain Blue even

(01:38:30):
though you're surrounded by everything that South Florida has to offer.
There's really no reason to leave these doors ever when
you're here, so as we won't be while we're here. Josh,
thanks for coming on with us today. It's so exciting
to have you back. I love to seeing you guys.
It's great being here. Josh Hermann. Of course, from the
Fountain Blue, Biami Beach. We'll be back after this. Let's go.

(01:38:52):
We should take a break before things get out of
head we'll be back after this. His voice is instantly recognizable,

(01:39:15):
The Mercedes Interview Lounge. Here we are Fountain Blue, Miami Beach.
We move the interview lounge to Fountain Blue. It's pretty cool.
Tate McCrae is a part of the Y one hundred
Summer Pool Party today on stage in the melting heat.
You're gonna be great. Welcome to the show. Hello, Thank you.
I think one of my favorite Tate McCrae moments was

(01:39:35):
at jingle Ball. You were singing on the stage and
your fans were singing your song louder than you were
singing your song, and I was wondering, can she even
hear herself? They get really loud now most of the time,
Like my whole mic pack is like fun because I
have to, like I feel like fully the fans are

(01:39:56):
like so crazy loud. It's amazing. It's a good great
singing along too. You yes, so aggressive. That were so young.
You know they have not had that side of heartbreak
yet they felt it late. Yeah, there was so much
your fans had so much rage. I did that thing
where I walked out of the room backward while we're

(01:40:18):
staying like, you don't want to you want to come
across that. I'm a part of the problem. So, um,
just go back from Australia. Yes, two weeks. Yeah, I
was wild. Are you Are you loving that part of
your life being able to travel, living hotels and do
your thing or do you miss your bed? I mean
how does that work? I miss my bed a little bit.
I'm not gonna lie. Um, but like touring Australia would

(01:40:40):
be literally toured all of the UK and Europe and
literally went everywhere this year. So it was pretty cool.
Oh nice, Yeah, it was sick. So speaking of hotels,
do you have a fake hotel check in name? What
is it? Well, that would be it would be bad
if after that, because I know you're staying I know
you're staying here at the Fountain Blob. Yeah. Yeah, my
name though, my like fake name is so sick. I

(01:41:03):
can't let's make a deal. Next time we talk to you,
you will have changed that name and you'll tell us
what your name was when you were here. Right cool? Right, So,
by the way, what room number are you? Tell everyone? So,
Kate you already I already saw you on the gram.
You were instagramming from your your terrace with your hair

(01:41:25):
blowing in the breeze. Perfect. So you're like, well, let's
see what else you posted. Danielle saw you post something
and she's living, who the hell with this Red Sox jersey?
What are you doing there? I just I don't know.
For some reason, everyone gives me like a new jersey
every time I'm like in a new city, but I
have like no idea what any of the sports teams are.

(01:41:47):
So I'll like, I'll just wear all of these jerseys
on stage and then one gets something out of me
and I'm like, I have no idea who I'm supporting
right now. So see you, Yankee Jersey is coming your way,
then you know you need to get her. Yankees Jersey,
piss off the Red Sox, Tom Brady Jersey. Nobody wants that.
Nobody wants that, she said. Perfect. So we were interviewed

(01:42:11):
Nikki your a few minutes ago. Okay, he's saying his
performance on the Y one hundred Pool Party stage today
is his third performance. Wow, and so he's of course
it opened up the floodgates for all these questions like, well,
how do you learn like how to stand right? What
do you how is there a school, is there a
performance university? Or do you just how does it work

(01:42:32):
for you? I mean, because you always seem so naturally
okay with being on stage. Honestly, you like kind of
like what I've noticed is like if you like black
out a little bit, it just happens. It's just like
it's like very natural. But if if you like hyper
focus on the fact that you're singing on a stage
in front of thousands of people, sometimes it's like, right,

(01:42:54):
super weird, out of body experience. I started the show
blacked up. Yeah wait, hold on, okay, I'm back. But
I know we were usedlated to go. Were you opening
up for Sean Mendez? Yeah? Yeah, wow, I know. We
love him. He's he's our little kid, he's our little brother, right.

(01:43:14):
We just want everything great for him, I know. And
so but how does that change your life? Where we
were scheduled to do this, so you just deserve everyone
like scurry and like find new venues or a new
what do you do? I mean, honestly, like I think,
I really do believe everything happens for a reason, and
I now get to like get in the studio and like, actually,
I haven't written in like ten months because I've been

(01:43:36):
on tour like all year. So it's gonna be nice
to actually like to be able to write new music again.
If you speak with Sean, tell him we love him.
I will hope he's doing great. He's the best. Um.
But what it says, it says ask her about this,
but don't mention that. But look, okay, I'll tell you

(01:44:02):
when when managers usually say do not bring up this
and this and this, we're like, okay, we wouldn't bring
u up anyway because We're not in the world of
embarrassing people. So I'm not gonna ask that question. But
you do claim you've never ever been on a dating app. No,
I don't want to be on a dating app. Your
management teams look at me like, don't go there. I'm

(01:44:24):
not you know. We we're kind of known for being
the show that doesn't embarrass people, and that's why because
we want you to come back, right. But we do
have some friends who are in the interviewing business. They're
just looking for that headline. They're looking for anything in
your life they can bring up. I embarrass you. I
know I've experienced it. So rather than us ask you,
just go ahead and admit it all right now, yes,

(01:44:48):
your deep dark secrets. I mean, is this like sitting
down and hearing a bunch of people ask questions over
and over and over? Is that? Where does that rank
on your priorities of what you like about what you
do in your life? Um? Is the necessary evil? Or
do you like it's okay to get your word out there?
I mean, if you get asked good questions. That's the thing.

(01:45:14):
We don't really ask probing journalistic questions. We just kind
of talk and laugh and make everyone you're doing good.
I know you're not on dating apps, but have you
experienced people using your photos to act like they're you? Yes?
I did great? Anyway, Really people are using your photo? Yeah,

(01:45:39):
I mean that that's the kind of stuff happens all
the time. Like horse, you just see your face whatever
using my photo, and that's quite so performing. So if
if this is Nikki yours third performance. Okay, can you
even ballpark how many performances on a stage you have
done since you hit the hit the hit the scene. Well,

(01:46:01):
it's weird because after the pen like before the pandemic,
I just like hadn't really performed before, and then all
of a sudden, like as soon as we were like free,
I just did every single festival and everything. Insight that
I went on tour for like a million years. So
I've probably done like eighty performances now or something like
a lot, a lot. Yeah, it's a heavy duty job.

(01:46:21):
I mean it's it can be strenuous at times, I
must assume, yeah, I mean yeah, it's especially like traveling
a lot and getting place to place like it's it's
a it's a tough business, but it's I performing is
like my favorite part of it, all right. I think
it's the best, better than writing and getting into the studio.
I mean, I love writing, but performing is like you
feel like a rock star. It's so fun where you are.

(01:46:42):
How weird the album you Think I Could Fly? I
mean it's it came out just a month or two ago,
didn't it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And so on the eve
of its release was it like Christmas Eve for you,
where we were like a little nervous, like, how are
they gonna let they all like it? Or do you
care if anyone appreciates your your art? Of course I care,

(01:47:03):
I think. Um. I mean the thing, it's like when
you release music, you just like have no idea how
people are going to interpret it or not like you
just even if it's like super personally you or whatever,
like you have no idea how people are going to
take it or how they're going to process it. Um.
But I do remember like I had like a whole
bunch of like parties scheduled and I cancel all the
I'm like, I don't want to celebrate with anyone. I

(01:47:24):
want to be alone. I can see that. Yeah, I
get that. Yeah, you know what. One of the things,
one of the things I love when in speaking with
artists is when they say, look, you know, I made
this album, I wrote this album. I put it out
there and I light my heart, you know, I'm must
leave whatever. And and I love it when when my
fans come up and say, you know, with this one track,

(01:47:45):
it really kind of changed my life around a little bit.
Have you ever had someone tried to interpret one of
your songs and you just want to look him in
the EYEO. That is so off the mark. I didn't
mean that. That is not the song I wrote. How
did you get that out of that? No happens all
the time. I remember my grandma one time, just like

(01:48:08):
completely missed the ballpark on songs. She was like, it's
so innocent and sweet and perfect, and I'm so proud
of you for writing a song like this. I was like, Grandma,
song about hating people that crush your heart. You gotta
let Grandma think it's all innocent and all. I know, Like,
how's your family feel about this? I mean, this is

(01:48:30):
gonna be like, are you like the black sheep of
the family? Right? You're out there a musician traveling the world,
and they're at home going, who is this girl? What happened?
They think it's so crazy? I mean they just in
a great way. I think they think it's amazing. I
mean they all wish they were doing this too. It's
it's it's really special, and they're just so supportive and
the best. So would you ever take them on tour

(01:48:52):
and let them be background singers or something? Who know
they did that? We knew someone who they would He
would take his dad with him and he would played
RUMs or something that's so sick. I don't know. All right,
thank you for coming to the pool party. Okay for
having me. The first time I met Tate was in
Las Vegas and we're at a pool party and she's
wearing these big, clunky boots that were like eighty pounds

(01:49:15):
a piece. That's what I'm known for. It is like
my massive shoes. Did you get a weird tan line
from that? I was outside of that line for like
five minutes. Push can swim with those things. Look at
a bikini and massive foods picture. Thank you for the music.
Thanks for being here for our listeners. Much appreciated. You're
gonna you're gonna have a lot of fun on that stage.

(01:49:35):
You're gonna melt dot wear makeup. I know telling you
right now. You have a beautiful dewey thing going in
Miami anyway you don't really, Yeah, it can be the
natural looking than She's all I want to be. Take McCray,
thanks for coming on with us to thank you. Get
the pool party later on, you guys make my day off.
