and Eate is gonna add his spin to the horoscopes
with Danielle and Gandia. Let's see how this works here
(07:54):
we go, all right, So it is Adrian Alima's birthday today,
Dave Franco's birthday today, and it's Capricorn. A quiet outside
provide you an opportunity to listen to your heart. Your
days and nine Aquaries, make sure you don't miss the
real treasure just because you are focusing on finding the
end of the rainbow. Your days and nine Pisces. Find
the kurds within yourself to share your wisdom with others.
(08:17):
Your day is a ten aries. Breathe and take your
time to take in and admire the beauty all around you.
Your days of seven Choris. Your mind is a muscle,
make sure to strengthen it by practicing a hobby or
maybe reading a book. Your days and eight Gemini. Like
our first caller, Eddie, double check your alarm today an
important meeting of weights. Take inventory and what could lie
(08:39):
ahead of you. Your days and nine Cancer, try to
be so joyful that when others see you, they can't
help but be happy too. Your days and eight, Leo,
keep your heart open to new opportunities. The people around
you are ready to help you on your journey. Your
days of tiken, Okay, you can turn it down. Just
(09:00):
one nuch, just one nuch. Here we go to one. Nine.
What am I up to? Libra? Libra? Dealing with the
ups and downs of life are only natural, and you
are well equipped to handle anything. Your days and nine
we forgot Virgo, Danielle, But that's okay, sorry, Virgo. You
do it. Let the universe guide you as you navigate
your path forward. Your days in eight Scorpio, your volatile
(09:23):
emotions could leave you to miscommunication with family or friends.
Speak your intentions clearly and carefully. Your day is a
seven and Sagittarius, a strong sense and understanding of your
destiny will prepare you for all that is thrown your way.
Your days and eight and those are your Friday morning horoscope.
(09:43):
I think you actually juice it up a little more
every single time, and hopes that eventually we'll just break
and go Okay, never mind, no more. You finally figured
me out. My favorite thing is when you do that
voice and you say the word rainbow in rainbow Lord.
All right, let's get into it. The three things you
(10:05):
need to know from Gandhi, Gandhi, what's going on? All right?
The Republican National Convention will be held in Jacksonville, Florida,
in August. The Republican National Committee decided on Jacksonville after
North Carolina's governor couldn't guarantee that the convention would be
held in Charlotte as planned due to coronavirus restrictions. Florida
Governor Rohnda Santis said the state will be honored to
host the event, where President Trump will accept the party's
(10:25):
twenty twenty nomination. Twitter has now deleted over one hundred
and seventy thousand accounts. It says we're tied to the
Chinese government. The company says the accounts were part of
a network posting mainly in Chinese languages and spreading geopolitical
narratives favorable to the Communist Party of China. Some of
the topics included the Hong Kong protests and the coronavirus.
(10:45):
And finally, I think I have the biggest spoiler alert
of all times. It's about the Sopranos. So we have
all heard about am I stealing something? Danielle, you want
me to switch this, but I don't know if you
should say the exact I think you should just think no, well, no,
you're not spoiling anything. No, you're okay, what's gary old?
(11:10):
You can do it. It was thirteen years ago. Well,
this is great. It's a great story, great story, very
famous scene at the end of The Sopranos spoiler alert
if you're watching, where everybody wondered, does Tony Soprano die
or does he not? While the creator of this show
was doing an interview called The Soprano Sessions, and it
got leaked. In that interview, he actually calls that last
(11:32):
scene a death scene. He was called out for it,
and everyone's like, oh my god. He finally confirmed Tony
Soprano died in the last scene. He said f you
to the guy who called him out. But he hasn't
contradicted it at all. So it looks like that last
scene of The Sopranos Tony Soprano did actually die. Here's
here's the thing. You know, if you've seen the last
scene of The Sopranos, you know, you see how he
(11:54):
could have died, but you don't know for sure. And
he just said it was a death scene. We don't
know it was Tony that died. It could have been
someone else. Hello, Oh that's true, but they did. They
did reference Tony. I guess I don't know either. It
really was a genius. I thought it was a genius
way to end that series. A lot of people hated it.
I thought it was great anyway. So there you have it.
(12:14):
See it for yourself. Thank you, Gandhi. All right, it
is Friday. You guys ready to roll? Yeah? Yeah, oh yeah,
all right, let's go. Come on. So amazing how you
guys feel like a family working with each other and
love hate thing going on, but it's more love than anything.

(12:56):
wake today. I don't know what it is. It's gonna
be like where you live, but the weather here in
the Northeast is going to be just stunning. I think
this weekend is going to be fantastic. Froggy, you've got
some rain off and non down at Jacksonville. I know
you're gonna try to hit some balls with your son today. Yeah,
and uh, there you go. What's it gonna be like
in Detroit today with you? Gandhi? Hold on, hold on,
(13:20):
hold on, wait, hold on, hold on? You got two
microphones on at once. Oh, here we go. I love it.
Talk to me, Hi, Hello, I didn't anything, I love
hold on, let me press. Okay, try now, hello Hello?
(13:43):
Hold on? You sound like Carol Anne and the TV.
I'm poultry guys. All right, well an old movie reference.
It sounds like she's on both her laptop and her microphone. Scar. Yes,
it sounds like you unmuted something. Now, hold on, I
did try that? Does this work? Oh? Yes? Yeah? Maybe
she was coming in through she was coming in through zoom,
(14:05):
because that's where Sam's coming in or that other thing. Okay, yes,
that's exactly who it was. She was coming in through zoom.
Hey wait a second, So Gandhi, I'm looking at your
screen on zoom and it has someone else's name. It
doesn't say Gandhi. Yeah that's Brandon. Oh okay, yeah, I
didn't know that's Brandon. So there you go. Yeah, he
(14:27):
was using my zoom yesterday. Clearly, I see he has
his own afternoon radio show. Does well. So the weather going,
you have a nice weather day? Okay, cool, Yeah, it's
gonna be really nice. All right, beautiful. I still missed
the technical glitches that Those are my favorite parts of
(14:49):
the show when stuff just falls to hell. You know
what I'm saying. Anyway, Producer Sam, good morning, welcome to
the Thank you. I'm just thrilled to be here. Glitches
and all. Hey, hem, glitch is doing character. Yeah, her
levels are a little hot coming in. Hey, So, uh,
(15:13):
what did you have for dinner last night? What did
I have for dinner last night? I remember what I
had to drink last night. I'll be gonna be honest.
Oh that's all that matters. There's nourishment in cocktails. So
what about dinner tonight? What are you gonna do? It's
come on, tonight's mom's birthday. So we are ordering out.
I'm gonna go see her and you could see I've
got like a little flower set up for her here,
which I am now remembering is a surprise. So if
(15:34):
you know my mom, please don't mention this. Oh all right, well,
let's let's get into your field goods producer Sam, what
do you have for us today? All right? So, long
time listener Hailey Martin sent me this adorable feel good
from her community, and she lives just outside Seattle. She
said her family has a wonderful neighbor named Dean Guyer,
(15:56):
and he spent sixty five days in quarantine bringing a
little extras silly joy to the kids that live in
their neighborhood. So their community has this mail hub that
has about six mailboxes in it, and she says it's
a very commonplace for people to pass every day. So
Dean used this mail hub as a stage to create
little father and son monkey daily theater scenes. So this
(16:17):
guy would use two stuffed animals and various props he'd
create and then make a little scene of these two
monkeys doing something together every night, so that when the
kids woke up there would be something new for them
all to check out. He's made a daddy monkey playing
baseball with the baby. One scene with them fishing, they
were watching the movie Shrek in another. It is so
cute and there's a mini montage up on elvistrand dot
(16:40):
com and Haley said, not only did it bring a
little bit of Christmas magic to them every morning, but
she's met neighbors she didn't know she had. She said,
they're all kind of becoming friends, and it's all thanks
to Dean. So Dean, Haley says, thank you very much
for making Quarantine a little more fun for her. And
if you have a story that deserves to be featured,
email me Sam Elvistrand dot com, subject mind feel goods. Oh,
(17:02):
thank you Sam. I know Sam reminded me a moment
ago that I have to do. I have to do
a moment with our new partner, Honey, Honey. I've got
a problem with Honey. By the way, I'm already complaining,
so I know what the problem is. I have it too.
I'm addicted to saving money with Honey. We'll get into
that in a second. We love your producer, Sam, Thank
(17:23):
you so much. Have a beautiful we can tell your mother.
We said happy birthday. She's fabulous. Oh well, bye, guys.
So yesterday I had to zoom into Manhattan to my
apartment in Tribeca to have a little meeting with some
people and do some stuff. Anyway, So while I was
in Manhattan and I looked at my you know, I
(17:44):
looked at through my closet, like what clothing do I
need to take out to the house. I'm like, old,
I'm wearing your T shirts and shorts brought up right.
The only thing I brought out, and I was telling
this to Froggy, is I have this long stick with
a razor on the end of it and I used
to shave my back. That's the only thing I looted
from my apartment. But you know what I did, scary,
(18:05):
You're gonna love this. Out here in Jersey, I just
can't get good pizza. So I ordered pizza from Ruberosa
in a little in little Italy, and they delivered it
to my apartment and it was downstairs at the disc
waiting for me. So I had some rub for dinner.
So nice. And now I'm I'm about to make scary
nipples even more hard. Monday, outdoor dining opens here in
(18:28):
New Jersey, so we have a reservation to have dinner
Monday night outside. We're so excited. We're finally catching up
with the rest of the world. Yeah, congratulations, it's liberating.
I got to say. The guy did say, well, that's good.
The guy did say, all right, mister dram, make sure
you bring your own wine because it's a boil. And
she said, and he said, bring an extra bottle because
there may be a wait. It's our first night. We
(18:49):
don't know how organized it's gonna be. We're gonna do
our best to see you so I can see you.
Alex and me just out front, just getting tanked, waiting
for our table. It's gonna be gorgeous Monday too. It's
gonna be nice. I can't wait. I can't wait. Thank
you weather Man. Hey, Gandhi, what are you doing this weekend?
What are you have going on? Well, we have some
stuff that we have to do because Brandon got a house.
(19:10):
So it's not super exciting, like as far as the
world goes, but for him, he's super excited. So there's
like an inspection and things like that happening this weekend.
Can't wait. It is exciting to get a house, you
know what. It's a full time job, you know, getting
a house. But oh yeah right yeah, So in a
way is he going to be moving in while you're
(19:30):
still there? Um? I mean yes and no. So I'm
gonna bounce back to Columbus for a couple of weeks
and then he'll do some things while I'm gone, and
I'm hoping he packs all up while I'm gone. Yeah,
and then when I come back. Yeah, how convenient. When
are you moving, Brandon? I'm moving on the fifteenth. Oh,
I'm leaving on the fourteenth. All it's not how it
(19:52):
worked out like that. Yeah. I took Danielle's advice. He
was like, don't help pack if you don't have to.
I was like, all right, run, yeah, Scary, what are
you doing this weekend? Um? I may go out to
Long Beach, Long Island, or to the Nautical Mile because
outdoor dining has been opened since Wednesday in Long Island.
So I'm this is my city tour of good to
get scari scaries on the outdoor dining tour. If you're
(20:15):
outdoors and you're serving foods, you're gonna look up in
Scary's face is gonna be like, yeah, we have a
table for me, thank you, I hate get you straight straight? Hey,
what are you doing this weekend? You know? Oh gosh,
I think we might be doing the beach. We might
be walking around our neighborhood. You know, are you gonna
use that high pitched voice while you're doing it? This
is the voice when I really don't know what we're doing.
(20:37):
So yeah, I am here for your beach, all right.
So those are my favorite weekends, the I don't know
what I'm gonna do weekend. You could just drive on mostly. Hey, Froggy,
what are you doing this weekend? Well, at Lisa's gonna
be out of town this weekend, so it's just me
and a little man here in the in the pups
all weekend, So who the hell knows that could happen
(20:59):
while the boy Right, Danielle, what are you guys? What
are you in the family up to? So my mom
is actually supposedly coming down unless she changes her mind again,
and I will see her for the first time in
three months in person this weekend, so I have been
getting ready for that. You know. She asked for a
potato chips, so I got her the family sized potato chips.
(21:21):
That's how I'm luring her. Hero of this potato um
and uh we have like you know, movies planned and
we're going for ice cream and kite flying. We have
all these things that we want to do with grandma.
So that's that's the plan for the weekend. We're very excited.
We can't wait. That's fabulous. Good for you. And I
love how you lure your mother with crisps. As they say,
(21:42):
the crisps get her in the door. By the way,
Gandhi brings up a good point. If ever you want
to kidnap Scary and hold him for ransom, what do
you do? Just open up some outdoor dining. Bam, he's there.
It's like it's like a off to a light. He's there. Well,
(22:03):
this weekend, uh my Alex is coming out and we're
celebrating his birthday and it's just us. He requested, no
no aliens, no one, no one shows up, just us.
It's gonna be us and with Max and I'm gonna
make him the foods he loves and have a nice
I love it. I think I have a nice a
nice gift for him. We'll see if he likes that.
You try to buy a birthday gifts for people and
(22:25):
they you know that there's a good chance they're gonna
shut it down. No, no, I'm so interested in what
this gift is now, I can't wait to find out. Well,
all right, well we'll all find out together. I'll let
you know if he shuts it down anyway, So I
can't wait to see him. And it's gonna be a
beautiful weekend. So no matter what your weather is this weekend,
(22:45):
think about who you want to be spending it with
and how you want to do it, and just spend
some time just soaking in And look, it's been a
it's been a very very informative several weeks and months,
and this weekend, do something to make yourself feel good
because you deserve it. Let's take a break. We'll be
back right after this. I'm Sarah. Thank you for listening
to us, and I've been listening for over twenty years.
(23:06):
This is insane to me. Okay, So I needed doormats
so online when Craton, Barrel, dot Com, front Gate and
all those and I'm like, okay, oh, I forget I
have Honey. Honey is now an extension on my web browser.
So when it came time to check out with my
outdoor mats, boom, Honey comes as hold on, mister durand
(23:30):
let me find you those those coupons and promo codes.
And it started looking at found three promo car codes
without me asking. You just did it, it insisted, and
Honey saved me one hundred and fifteen dollars, which was
I'm telling you a third of the amount of money
I was spending on all these mats because I'm buying
all these mats for all these doors. Thank you, Honey.
So wherever you're shopping online, targets, sofa, you name it,
(23:51):
Honey most likely has not only one, but maybe a
dozen promo codes. You've always wanted a promo code. When
you check out and you get mad because you can't
find any, Honey finds them for you. They find the
best ones. You apply the coupons. In a few seconds,
it scans and boom, the prices drop. Thank you. Every
time I wipe my feet on my discounted uh doormats,

Durant is Elvis Durant in the Morning show. Hey, so
I'm looking over at the TV and uh, a commercial
just came on for I don't know that stuff that
gets sort of a creepy skin or what. I don't know, creeper, Yeah,
(24:55):
crap away, who cares? But you know what I'm saying.
But they always say call what eight blah blah blah
blah blah, one and one eight hundred. Do we really
need one eight hundred numbers anymore? I mean, we don't
need toll free. Do you even know what a toll
free number is? Anywhere? I mean you just use minutes, right,
I mean right? I don't know why we have just
what and why would you call anyone? You just got whatever?
(25:18):
It's creeper. No, maybe maybe it's just is that for
an older people. I guess older people have the creepy stuff.
My mom loves Creeper Race. She swears by Creeper Race. Please,
I know, but but why why one eight hundred number.
I'm just we don't need them. I'm just saying, right now,
this is one less thing we can deal with. Let's
let's try to like get rid of clutters everywhere. Like
(25:44):
if I encountered a business that didn't have some type
of one eight hundred number for a customer service, I'd
be like, what kind of jakie boot like crap is this?
They don't even have a one eight hundred number, But
you don't need it though its obsolete. She couldn't listen
to you, I know, yeah, talking about going out for
our first dinner at a restaurant on Monday, sitting outside.
(26:06):
But I have, as I've said at the beginning of
a Coronaville, fear of going out Fogo. Yeah, I still
have it. Yeah, I'm you know, I just I still
love not getting a cold. Haven't had a cold in
three months because I just haven't been rubbing up against
those diseased people I hang out with. I guess, speaking
(26:31):
of Ali sent an incredible article from The New York
Times to Gandhi today about the new age of sex.
What's it all about now that we're trying to not
get germs on each other? What did you get so interesting?
Because they're pretty descriptive about types of sex in different
ways people are enjoying themselves, and what you need to do. First,
(26:52):
they say your safest sex partner is you, and they
give you descriptions on what to do there, and then
they go into things, hey, yeah, right, they're discouraging group sex,
but if you're gonna do it, they do have advice
for you, including pick larger, more open ventilated spaces, and
then they go on and talk. Yes, they say that
(27:13):
heavy breathing is a problem, so of course, if you're
engaging with sex with someone from outside your household, you
want to avoid taking in their germs. Wear a mask.
That's the part that's really bothering Ali is the masks
when you're having sex. She's not a fan of that.
She thinks it's ridiculous. She says dating is hard enough,
and all of these little new guidelines are stressing her out.
I think they're kind of funny. I mean, they're basically saying,
(27:34):
treat your mouth and nose like you would treat your husie.
Protect it. You're what you're hushie. Okay, yes, I know
you don't. Yeah, it's true. Got to protect your husie.
I don't know, you know what, sex with someone with
a mask on, I don't know. Maybe once or twice,
(27:55):
it maybe not, maybe kind of fun. Even goes on
to suggest things like you can avoid having close contact
sex by having sex through holes in walls or other barriers.
Oh well, Danielle, that's your that's your glory hole. Danielle.
Oh my gosh, but you guys lost me. All I
heard was choose larger. After that she said, I don't
(28:19):
make sure you pick larger. I don't know. That's all
I heard was pick larger, And I thought she was
talking about something else, so I was like, yeah, we're
talking about mentally in spaces. So anyway, people, Oh, this
is a there's a story coming out of London today
where boris the Prime Minister saying you may now we
(28:40):
are now going to lift the no sex law or rule.
You may now go next door and have sex with
your neighbor or wherever. They're saying, okay, we will. Now
we're saying now it's okay for you to do like
one on one with someone you trust if you'ren't going
to spend the weekend with them and just get it on,
go go do it. Crazy, Actually a really interesting so
(29:05):
because of all of these you know, guidelines, and some
people following them and some people are not, that apparently
is changing the dating scale, because when people are talking
about meeting up, I've read that if somebody says, you know,
I'm not really comfortable meeting up just yet, a lot
of times they get blocked by the person who is
all ready for everything to open up. So it's becoming
a weird dynamic as far as who's ready to meet
up and who isn't, and if that causes some friction. Yeah, well, Ali,
(29:27):
I know you're listening. She's talking to us in our
in our whatever room. That is all the best, she says,
there's already so much pressure to have a boyfriend. Now
this makes me just want to find someone even more.
Put a helmet on that soldier and put a mask
on your nose. Let's make love, Daniel, you're ready to
(29:48):
do it? Yeah, yeah, let's go, just put a mask on.
We'll do it. Well, hold on, what, Nate, we have
a phone call? Yeah? Oh okay, hold on, turn off
Danielle for a seconds. Danielle, there's Dory twenty four getting married.
Oh you're getting married? When you getting married? Dorry today? Oh? Congratulations, Gret,
(30:12):
thank you. Have you met him yet? What's his name?
I've met him. His name is Paul and today's today.
So talk about how excited you are. I'm very excited.
I can't wait. It's gonna be great. Are people coming
(30:33):
to the wedding? Is it a small wedding? Like? How
you know? How you doing it well? Because of everything
going on, We're not going to have a big wedding.
We're just gonna go to the justice a piece with
my mom and my sister and one of his good friends.
That's all you need and you can have a big
party later. Hey Nate, when you were talking to Dorry earlier,
what did she tell you that we were we really
(30:54):
need to get on here? That was it, Elvis? Just
the smaller ceremony because of everything going on. And then
they're gonna do a honeymoon to the coast, actually close
to where Froggy is if I'm not mistaken. Oh, Froggy.
You want to stay at Froggy's house? Yeah? No, you
do it on the studio and you could stay here
in the guest room. Daniel, Daniel, you just failed your
(31:17):
your your quiz. Well Doriy, congratulations. Don't forget what it's
all about. And I know it's going to be a
challenge to get in and out of the justice of
the peace. And you don't you're not having the big
wedding and everything, but you know what, You're with the
guy you love and that's all that matters, it really,
truly is. Don't you agree. I completely agree. That's all.
That's all it's been about, is just us and being
happy and being in love. And it doesn't matter what's
(31:39):
going on in the world today right now, it's going
to be about us. There you go, Dori, have a
great honeymoon and a great marriage, and congratulations to you.
Thank you very much, ladies, Oh thank you. Okay, all right, Daniel,
that's so cool. You know what a reason to celebrate.
We all need these reasons to celebrate. Like this weekend
(32:01):
it Alex's birthday, so we're gonna celebrate. It's okay. He's like,
I don't want a birthday. I said, yeah, you're getting
a birthday. Shut up, enjoy your birthday, all right. So Unfortunately,
our friend Kelly Clarkson has followed for divorce from her
husband of seven years. Um. She has not commented on
(32:24):
the split, but we know that, you know, she probably
wants her privacy, so we're gonna give her that. But
just no, We're thinking about you, Kelly, and we love you.
Lizzo is once again addressing fat shamers on TikTok. She
shared a video of herself exercising, and she's insisting to
haters that she isn't working out for anyone but herself.
She said, I'm working out to have my ideal body
(32:47):
type and you know what type? That is none of
your freaking business, because I am beautiful, I am strong.
I do my job and I stay on my job,
and there you go. We love Lizzo. She really is.
So this is exciting news. The Rock and Roll Hall
of Fame in Cleveland will be opening up next week,
June fifteenth. It's been closed since March. Right, There's gonna
(33:10):
be all kinds of things that they're gonna put in place, obviously, masks,
temperature check, social distancing. You have to reserve tickets online
in advance, limited capacity and your tickets will be time
So if you go there, it's gonna be time for
when you can, you know, stay until. You're also going
to be cleaning it um NonStop. And if you are
(33:30):
a healthcare worker, this is awesome. You're gonna get free
admission the day before it opens so that you can
go and experience it before everyone else. And this is
their way of thanking you for everything that you've been
doing during coronavirus. If you've never been to the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, you have to go.
It's such a great experience. It really truly is. Oh
(33:51):
take a trip ed. Shearon took a little break, if
you remember ten months ago, he does this after it
puts out an album, takes a little break. Well, he's ready.
He has working on some new music. Can't wait to
hear it. Don't know when it's coming out, but all
we know he's just working on some new stuff. So
Lady Antebellum has decided to change their name just to
Lady A. So it's not totally gone, but it's it's
(34:14):
kind of gone. It's interesting anyways, their fans have been
calling them Lady A all this time anyway, and originally
they got the name from the Southern style home that
they took their first pictures in. It reminded them of this,
but it has a lot of other things behind it.
It refers to a period of history before the Civil War,
(34:35):
a whole era, and it has a negative, a negative
feel for a lot of people. So they decided that
out of respect, they were going to just change the name,
and they were also going to be donating money for people.
So they have dropped it and just put Lady A.
And so from now on just call them Lady A.
So there you go. San Diego Comic Con has been canceled,
(34:56):
but it will happen online July twenty second to the
twenty Let me tell you, I know, Comic CON's not
even happening in New York. Comic Con is one of
my favorite things to go to every single year. You know,
I get dressed up and I go out there and
I have the best time. Well, this year, it's not
gonna happen, except it's gonna happen online. So for July
twenty seconds to the twenty six, you can get it
streamed online. It is free, it's unlimited access for everybody,
(35:21):
and it'll still be a lot of fun. So You're
gonna find a way to do it. There's a lot
on television this weekend. Netflix has a ton of stuff,
So just check Netflix because there's so much stuff. I
couldn't even get into it. Hulu. Netflix has a lot
of stuff, just trust me. Yeah, there's like five or
(35:43):
six things. There's five or six things. Hulu has a
bunch of stuff. You know. Our Pete Davidson, he's got
The King of Stanton Island out on Amazon Prime. Josh
Gatt has Artemis Foul. He's gonna be on with us
in a little bit. He's got that out on Disney
Plus RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars is on this weekend.
There's a lot fun stuff on television if you're going
to be ome. And that's my Danielle report. Thank you, Danielle. Hey,
(36:05):
let's not forget Graduation season is still upon us, and
there's a lot of people who are still shaking the
heads because they're not getting to watch their kids or
their sitters, brothers' grandkids walk across the stage and get
their diploma. I don't want you to give up on it.
You gotta just get creative, you know, if you've got
to invite some people over the house and to separate
and just be safe, mask whatever you can still and
(36:26):
you've seen it online. You've seen a million videos of
families enjoying having these parties for their graduates because they
worked hard, and you know, graduating you just don't want
to fizzle away as if you never went to school.
You deserve to be celebrated. So that's why Walgreens and
our friend bb Rexa, as you know, I'll remind you,
they came up with a song that BP performed. It's
(36:48):
Pomp and Circumstance. She wrote words to the actual old
Pomp and Circumstance song, and they remind you that if
you want to give your graduate a true celebration, and
Walgreens has a lot of ways to do it. Photos,
you gotta take photos, you have photo ops. You need
to save these things because this is a big time
(37:08):
in their lives. So Walgreens is adding many, many, many
ways for you to get your virtual party on. Just
by walking across the living room, Walgreens can help remember
those moments. Will help you remember those moments by keeping
them in photos forever. You can go to Old Local
Walgreens or photo dot Walgreens dot com. They have a
huge assortment of same day photo deals on banners and
(37:31):
posters and everything to customize that big day, to make
it the big day you'll remember forever. So congratulations to
the class of twenty twenty from Walgreens. Where is Babe?
Here she goes. It's fun, you go, bbe mindends with
(37:59):
there you go again, get out of Walgreens. Or if
you want to just do an online you can. It's
so easy. Don't let graduation fizzle away. Go to photo
dot Walgreens dot com. This is justin timber Lake. Hey there,
it's spobe rex and you're listening to Elvis Duran. Elvis
Duran in the Morning show Show Sure. Norton three sixty
(38:20):
with LifeLock provides and all in one protection. No one
can prevent all cybercrime and identity theft, but Norton three
sixty with LifeLock is a powerful ally for your cyber safety.
Save twenty five percent off with your first year at
Norton dot com. Slash Elvin Elvis Duran in the Morning
Show SORR. Our friend Tom Kelly was out driving around
(38:42):
yesterday and he took a picture of the back of
this Chevy Chevy Blazer can you read that it says
just divorced. They wrote it on their window. Oh my gosh, celebration,
celebran good times come on. The meme on this says,
it's hard enough when your parents get divorced, even harder
when mom drops you off for school in this divorce.
(39:08):
I do wonder if you were, if you were actually
going through a separation and a divorce when the COVID
hit and then you had to kind of maneuver around
in that atmosphere, or you decided while you were locked
down with each other, this ain't gonna work, and you
decided at that point. And we had heard these stories
that people who called their divorce attorneys while they were
in the same room with each other. Happened a lot. Yeah.
(39:34):
Could you imagine if you serve them papers and like
someone comes to the door and you say, oh, honey,
you should get that while you're sitting there. Not cool someone, no, anyone, Well, look,
you know, divorce, separation, it's it's rough. I don't want
to see anyone go through it. I mean, even if
(39:55):
it's something you need to do, and uh, maybe it's
for the it's probably for the best. I don't know,
it's still it's still a painful thing. You know, there's
emotion involved in there, and there's like a guilt. There's
not a guilt in there, but when you're stuck with
each other in the same house because of you know,
you're the quarantine situation, which is, you know, coming to
an end. For some people, it's gotta be rough. Now
we're talking earlier about Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon.
(40:17):
They're getting us. They announced that yesterday and we had
just seen them in Miami when we were launching a ship.
Kelly was our guest. She's she's a god parent of
an Encore right, and we hung out. She was in
the dressing room most of the night, but we hung
out with Brandon. They're both such nice people, you know,
and they've got a great family. And you just when
(40:40):
you when you hear about a celebrity or a performer
getting a divorce and you don't really know them, you've
never met them, you're like, oh God, that's awful, you know.
But when it's someone you know, you're just like, oh God,
I mean, I know Danielle was talking about this with
her mom. You didn't want to share the news with
your mom, no, because She's one of those celebrities that
my mom loves and like she's the good girl and
she you know, so I'm like, hey, Mom, did you
(41:01):
hear what happened? And she's like, what I have to
tell you? Who's getting a divorce? Who? I go? Okay,
you ready? Yeah? Kelly Clarkson, Oh really like oh yeah,
because to me, it's like her Tom Hanks, Like those
are the types of celebrities that don't get divorced. Like
I don't know, Like, if Tom Hanks got divorced, I
(41:22):
am giving up on humanity. It's all over. I'm up,
I'm giving up on everything. If Tom Hanks get I
hope I hope it doesn't happen anyway. So all the
best to anyone who's going through that right now. And
you know it's it's not to be taken lightly. We
get it. We get it. Hey. Uh. Interesting Line twenty
four is Brandon. Good morning, Brandon, Welcome to the show.
(41:45):
I'm so glad you called in to talk about this subject.
Good morning everybody. How are you guys? We're doing very well.
You know, we were going around the room of the
other day saying, hey, what is something you really want
to do that you haven't, You've never been able to
do and Gandhi, what was one one of the things
you want to do on your list? I desperately want
to make a citizen's arrest. Well, Brandon's girlfriend made a
(42:08):
citizen's arrest. What happened, Brandon? So it was like Saturday
afternoon evening. We were driving back to her place and
there was a guy sitting outside with his penis out
okay okay, and we drive by and my girlfriend's like,
oh my god, did you just see that? And I'm
(42:30):
like yep. She's like, what do I do? And I'm like,
I don't know. Call the police. So luckily her driveway
was right around the corner, so we pulled in. She
calls the police. They come to the guy, who apparently
has done this numerous times but nobody's wanted to press charges.
(42:51):
They come up to him, they call her back to
make as sitience's arrest because they weren't there to see it.
So she walks around the corner, talk to them, and
arrest him and then they take over and they were
like really want to Yeah, They're like, do you want
to press charges? And she was like yes, and the
guy was well, so wait a minute. So so there
(43:15):
there's like a there's a formality to making it a
citizen's arrest obviously, So yeah, look, it's one. It's one
thing if you call the cops on someone and the
cops come out and say, well, there's nothing we can
do because we didn't see it happened. And then they say, well,
if you make a citizens arrest. So was there anything
she had to say on the record or how did
it work? I wasn't there, but from what she told me,
(43:39):
she had to They knew his name, apparently he had
done this before, so she told him, hey, sell and
so I'm placing you under arrest and he's like screaming, no,
I'm sorry, please don't um. She finished her thing, and
then they read him his rights and they arrest him. Wow. Wow,
(44:01):
So Gandhi, that's what you want to do, you want
to make a citizen's arrest. There's an example. I gotta
be honest, though, I think as soon as somebody started
getting upset and crying and saying I'm sorry it didn't
mean too, I'd just be like, all right, go ahead,
so I'll take your weight out again and we'll call
it a day. So I'm wondering, Brandon, is it like
(44:22):
if if if you're witnessing something going on and soone's
breaking the law, can you say, you know what, I'm
here by making a citizen's arrest and you have to
hold onto them until the cops going. I guess that's
how it works. So, but if someone said to me,
I'm making a citizen arrest, mister Rand, I'm like, go
f off, I'm out of here. By I would. But
(44:46):
if they hold me by force, I mean they can't.
I don't know can they legally do? I don't know
how that works. If you're so drunk you're sitting there
with your penis out, I guess you know you're pretty
vulnerable and you're not. Yeah, you're you're your pants around
your ang poles. You can't really run that fast. He's
wearing shorts, all right. Yeah, So they booked him and
(45:09):
that took him downtown as they say, yeah, wow, wow, okay,
but I have one more thing, guys, Sure, So I
called in probably I think in twenty eighteen, I was
the guy that here all night from the Monster truck show. Nice.
(45:30):
I was like the first caller of the day. We
love monster truck shows. I just thought i'd say that
I remember. I mean I remember it because because I
think Froggy made plenty Danyelle saying that she couldn't drive it. Yeah. Probably. Well, look, well,
(45:50):
thank you, you know, thank you, and thank you to
you're why your your girlfriend. You guys are ongoing contributors
to a show, and we appreciate it. And now we
know sort of how citizens arrest. All right, thank you
very much, Brandon. That was excellent. So do you still
want to make the citizen's arrest Gandhi? Yes? I do,
maybe not for that. I want like a more like
something that makes me look like a superhero, like saving
(46:12):
a baby from a runaway drunk person on a horse.
I don't know, something like a weener out. Yeah, a
wiener out is just like see that every day in
New York City. Not encouraging it, but not arresting you
for it. Yeah. Okay, all right, let's get into the
three things you need to know, Gandhi. And we have
a phone tap coming up in a few minutes. Who
does the phone tap today? Scary? Oh, it's a tag
team between Garrett and me. Oh, a tag team? All right?
(46:38):
All right, Gandhi, what do you have going on this hour,
all right. Chicago police are investigating after surveillance video appears
to show officers lounging and Congressman Bobby Rush's burglarized campaign
office while nearby businesses were actually being looted about two
weeks ago. Rush revealed yesterday that more than a dozen
officers were seen on camera making popcorn, drinking coffee, and
(46:58):
sleeping on a couch. Mary Lori Lightfoot said the officers
will be held accountable for their actions, but the police
department says, even though they're still trying to identify those
officers right now, that the looting was over by the
time the officers were caught relaxing on camera. A new
report now finds that funding for customs and Border protection
that was meant to help migrants was spent on ATVs
and dirt bikes instead. The report from the Government Accountability
(47:21):
Office says that more than one hundred million dollars was
meant to buy food and medicine for migrants after the
deaths of multiple children in custody. Border patrol officials say
the purchases were lawful and objects actually related to operations
and the care of those in custodies. In custody, so
that investigation is continuing. And finally, a couple in South
Carolina is thrilled after they found an ancient megalodon sharktooth
(47:44):
as large as a human hand. It was discovered by
a woman digging on a beach. It's about six inches
long ways almost a pound. I can't even imagine what
the mouth of the creature those belonged to would look like,
but she's thrilled about it. And apparently this beach in
South Carolina is known for having lots of big ancient
shark teeth, so if you're trying to find those, head
over to South Carolina. And those are your three things.
(48:07):
Thank you, Gandhi. Let's take a break. We're back after
this morning. Elvis, Elvis durand the Elvis Durand phone tap.
This is what we'd like to call a tag team
phone taps. The letter coming into the phone Tap offices says,
my husband, Justin and I are taking a trip to
Vegas next week. You see, Justin has this hideous Lucky
(48:30):
Vlure suit he loves to wear when he gambles. He
dropped it off to be dry cleaned a month ago
to make sure it would be ready for the Vegas trip.
Why don't we play with his head a little? This
comes from Ali. All right, Ali's phone tapping her husband Justin.
She's gonna be calling from the dry cleaners trying to
pick up Justin's suit, And then tag team Garrett and
(48:53):
Skeeter Joan join in as the brothers who own two
brothers dry cleaners. I guess it's the name of it.
Here we go, Today's phone tap. Let's listen, then, shall we? So? Well? Oh, um,
I want to go pick up your suit at the
girl cleaner. Um, I'm actually here now and they don't
(49:16):
have it. Well, you mean you don't have it? They
don't have it. I gave him the ticket and they
said that they don't have that ticket number anymore. They
should have it. I dropped it off there. Sure, yeah,
I'm sure to ask him again. Um, it's definitely just
dry clear that we dropped it off at. I don't
see it. I've been looking for about a half hour
(49:37):
now and I don't see anything. So I don't even
know what you're talking about. Not here, I don't know.
He's telling me. It's not hearing him. To him work again,
Tell him to look until he finds it. I'm not
an idiot, and he gave me the ticket, so I'm not.
This is what color was it? It's burgundy? Burgundy? I'm sorry,
but what kind of suit is burgundy? It's a vivore.
(50:00):
Be smart with you right now? Oh, I know what
kind of guy he is? All right, all right, I'll
go look for it. What kind of guy? Why didn't
you put this plob on the phone right now? Okay,
who wants to talk to you? Hi? Um? What's your name, sir?
It's Justin, Justin Luigi. Nice to meet you. Now, how
can I help you? You? Guys? Have my suit there
that I dropped off a month ago. Now you're saying
you don't have it. I want to know where it
is I got. I'm going on vacation. I need to suit.
(50:20):
You know what, that's not my problem. All I know
is I get a ticket. Get your problem, all right, listen,
no need for the language. Find the suit. Find the suit.
I'm gonna come pick it off. If we did lose it,
what if we get you a new one? How about that? No? No,
I want to suit that I dropped off to you guys,
I don't want a new one. What's so special? About
this suit. All honesty, all right, between that and guys
(50:42):
and that. It doesn't matter what's so special about. It's
my suit and I want the one I dropped off.
That's it, so get it. Did you talk to my brother?
I don't know who I talked to you? Okay, I
know I dropped it off to get dry clean, and
that's it. All right. Let me say if he's in
the back, Hey, marry out, marry out. I have a
gentleman on the phone. He's look for a burgundy suit.
(51:02):
All right, Oh my god, that's the suit. What you're wearing?
The suit? That's the suit, ma'am. No, it's not what's
going on, Yes it is. That's the look. He's wearing
your suit. Do you know what brand it is? Because
it looks exactly like what did you tell? What brand
it is? My husband? Ma'am? Just sit down for a second.
(51:24):
My husband's suit. I know it. When I see it,
I think that's it. Your brother has the suit on.
Huh here, let me see what color? What color? It's
like a reddish it's a reddish sham. I'm coming down there,
all right, no, no hold on, all right, you guys
right now, are you guys, come out. What's going on? Eh? Hallo?
(51:46):
You got my suit on? Right now? Buddy? This is
not your suit? How is this? My wife says? If
my wife says, it's my student's my suit? All right?
When did you drop it the suit off? I dropped
it off there, you idiot? When when did you drop
it off? About a month ago? If you drop a
suit off and then you don't forget about it over
a couple of weeks, it becomes part of my wardrobe.
(52:06):
This suit is not my suit. You know what I'm saying.
I'm gonna come down there and I'm gonna pound your
face in out of that suit. Jerk What is he talking? Listen?
Let me tell you, ZONDI. If it sort is lost
for a month, I figure maybe you drop dead or something.
Doesn't matter. Listen to me, jerk off, Yeah, I thought it.
Maybe you pass away or something and you leave a
clothes behind so I can wear the clothes. I wear
(52:27):
your suit. Thing. That's the way I'm gonna. Haven't you
check in the policy when you fail out? The farmer?
You're listening here, it's in my store. My wife on
the shold right now, you my wife on the phone.
Now it's in my suit. Now it fails nice, it
fails nice shot. I don't like the caller, but it
feels nice. What do you need to suit? The phone?
My wife on the soup of the glam shot up
(52:49):
and put my wife on the phone. Now listen, shut up,
call the police. What should I do? Give me my shoot? Listening?
Hitting me? Just me? Maybe that's connected or something. I
don't want to leave a guy WHI If they're connected,
I'm getting that suit. I thought they came out on
(53:11):
the way home, and I'll get you in the shoot.
How am I supposed to go on vacation without my
Valor suit? You know how much money I've worn on that?
What is such a crocket? You did not want any
money with that stupid ass Valor suit. You just like
it because you think it makes me look like a
play He's gotten into you, Hey, justin you just got
found tact. What are you talking about? My name's Garrett
(53:34):
from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. And that's scary
over there. I'm scary Jones? Are you? Are you kidding? Me?
And Mario and Luigi are part of a video game. Dude? Yeah,
they don't own a dry cleaning business. They own a
plumbing business. Believe it are you? I don't think you're
gonna fall where it. I really didn't. I was like,
really just siding with these guys right now? I thought, like,
(53:55):
I don't know, I feel so stupid right now. I
have an idea for a phone tab. Go to Ellis
Durand dot com. Click on the phone tap tab, tell
us what you want to do. This phone tap was
prerecorded we permission granted by All Party Space Elvis Durand
phone tab on Elvis Durand in the Morning show. Wow,
(54:15):
that was old. Garrett sounded like he was like five
years old when he did that. Yeah, and Scary, you
sounded that like that was like years ago for you too.
You sound like you were in your early forties. But anyway,
that was a great phone tap. I like that a lot.
By the way, I love how you When do you
want to put on an Italian accent? You think you're
just add an A to the end of every word? Yes,
I don't know. Hey, yeah, oh my god, good going, Scary.
(54:45):
Can we talk about what you got your dad for
his birthday? I don't want to ruin this price now, No,
you can't. No, it's fine because it's on its way
to the house and his birthday is tomorrow, so he's
gonna find out. Is he listening he maybe It actually
doesn't matter if he is or not. I mean, well,
we could surprise. I don't think you're I don't think
your family likes you, Scary. No, your girlfriend's not even
listening to us the hard way. Yeah, we just found
(55:07):
her like tuning into something else and I'm like, we
saw her watching something. Yeah yeah, no one laying your
family likes I love you too, Scary. This family loves you.
But anyway, Scary gave his go ahead. Tell everyone what
you got your dad for birthday? I bought my father
a trash can first birthday. Right. It's on the way
to the house. But here's the reason. But it's not
(55:28):
just any trash can. It's a boogie trash can. It's
a it's a it's a simple human trash can. I
can't okay, I just got one of my own, and
I can't believe I waited all these years. It actually
makes me want to take the garbage out. It has
a little slot on the side. Which one which one?
Did you get him? I got him? He got ja
ja let men simple human trash cans. They're beautiful stainless
(55:50):
deel trash cans, and they are sort of expensive for
trash cans, but they're beautiful, you know. And they have
different sized bags for different size simple human trash cans mine.
I have a J and I think I have a K.
I don't know whatever, but they are bougie as all
bougie can be, as far as bougie trash can buy it.
But it opens up on its own, or you could
just say I can and it'll open for you. I
(56:14):
always obey that rule, but it doesn't matter. All I'm
saying is you walk by me and I opened my can.
The thing is, it's so bougie, this simple human trash can.
You have to buy the appropriate bags for the appropriate size,
so they so they get you because they manufacture these
expensive bags. That's how they make their money. Like for instance,
Nate has a J. Right, you have a J line.
(56:35):
I have the semi round or half moon step can.
I love it? Okay, but tell everyone, but tell everyone
what you're doing to save money. Well, because simple human
has this monopoly quote unquote on their bags and they're
ridiculously overpriced. I found on Amazon. The fact that you
can buy imitation simple human bags in the same shape.
(56:55):
So you can find a j it's just got a
generic manufacture. You could like quadruple the amount for the
same price. Seeing the systems. No, No, Danielle, No Danielle.
There's like people. It's like people who drive a Honda
and they take to Honda emble them off and they
put a Mercedes emblem on just to make you thank
you're driving in merced and you know exactly what you're doing.
We've did that when when I had an Apple Watch,
(57:17):
which I don't have any more. When I had my
Apple Watch, I wouldn't buy the Apple bands at the
Apple store. You go on Amazon and then get tons
of Apple Apple bands for cheap Froggie told me about it.
It's great you're gonna live. If you're gonna live a
Bougee trash can life, you gotta buy the Bougee bag bag.
It's a trash tall. I'm paying sixty six dollars for
(57:38):
two hundred and forty can liners because they're fitted. I'm like,
excuse me, you fitted can liners. But the thing is
I wanted to do a good thing, and I don't
know if this present is gonna go over very well,
it's supposed to get there today. He has no ideas.
I love, by the way, I love the fact that
you totally sold out on surprising your dad just so
(57:58):
you could get a bit on our radio show to
talk about the trash cans and everything. If he laid
out how much the bags cost. It started as a
question amongst my friends here because I asked you guys
off the air, if that was a bad idea to
get a trash can as a birthday present. Who the
hell you know? Twenty years ago I would have said,
that's an awful gift. But you know what, your dad,
he's a granddad. You know, he's looking for simple things
(58:19):
in life that are kind of nice. A really boogie
nice trash can. I bet he love. What's that? Gandhi? Well,
scary did the thing? He asked all of us, you
guys think I messed up by getting my dad a
trash can for his birthday? And all of us were like, oh, yeah,
you have time to send it back, and he goes,
it doesn't matter what you say. It's already on the way,
So why I ask, Right, it's going to his house,
so he's gonna get it there in Brooklyn anybody any day. Now,
(58:42):
don't you need a new trash can? Like you're sending
him something he may not want. No, you don't understand.
This is a trash cans done a trash can. It's
not it's not a trash can. It's a trash experience. Yes,
my god, it takes trash ashcandem to a whole new level. Yes,
(59:03):
I think it's a good gift. However, did you buy
him bags? Because if I know what a little bit
I do know of your father, if he finds out
how much thing bags cost, he's gonna be pissed. I
got him about a year to buy a bag. So
we're gonna have to where you can buy the you
can buy the bootleg bags that Nate. I'm telling you guys,
it's worth the investment. I never looked forward to taking
(59:25):
out my gall cage. All right, well, could you buy one?
Because I could have? Can I have one? We're moving on.
We've really spent way too much time on this stupid
trash can thing. But the question was is it a
bad gift? Let's take a vote. I don't think it's
a bad gift at all. It's a it's a great
trash can. Dads love trash cans. Yes, Froggy, Yes or no? Um,
I think it's a good gift. Okay, okay, Danielle, No,
(59:48):
I don't think it's a good gift. Well, what should
you get? You know sometings it's in a trash can. Yeah,
I don't think your household things like that, vacuums, trash cans,
crap like that, not gifts. Really. People to agree with
you too? What about you, straight Nate? Yes or no?
Yea or nay? What say you say? Yeah? I'm a
huge fan of the Simple Human. Although I did just
have to louve up the extension rod on my can
(01:00:10):
because it was kind of creeping a little bit, the
rod on your can. I did you have to do that?
Go to the If you go to the website, it
explains if you have a creaky lid, you have to
louve up the rod on the can. You gotta louve
your rod. What about you, Gandhi the Simple Human can
for a birthday gift of your father? Yes or no? No?
I'm sure it's a great trash can, probably the greatest ever.
(01:00:31):
I'm just not gonna get my dad a trash can
for his birthday. But I'm sure your dad will love it. Okay,
all right, I don't think so he's gonna yell at me.
All right, all right, we're moving on. Danielle Danielle. Let's
go the Danielle Report? Should we do it here? Oh?
Thank you? So just straight name's not stopping me. Hurry
before he stops this quick, all right. So, Chrissy Teagan
(01:00:51):
underwent surgery to have her breast implants removed and it
was a success, thank goodness. But she got a note
from her kids that'd say, have fun pulling your boobs out,
love Luna. She posted the pictures of the notes, so cute.
Jeopardy runs out of new episodes today, so starting Monday,
(01:01:12):
you're gonna get some repeats. Alex Trebek says that he
is ready to get back to work. He wants Jeopardy
to be one of the first shows that goes back
into production, so we'll see if it happens. But at
least that tells us that he's feeling better. Right, hopefully
he's feeling good. So Rapper A Little Twist did an
interview and he said, back when Justin Bieber was having
(01:01:33):
some issues. He was taking the fall for him for
all of the marijuana charges and stuff, and his management
apparently came to him and it said, hey, if you
love Justin, you'll take the rap for him for this weed.
You hang out with rappers. Come on, it's not a
big deal. And at the time he was like okay,
(01:01:54):
So he did it. And then every time something happened
with marijuana or was at a party, they blamed it
on him, and he says that it was, oh, it's
a big marijuana party. It's a little twist party. Well,
every time we turned Ronnie was having a marijuana party.
So you know, Justin has made a statement on it,
saying that he apologizes but it's not all true. Whatever.
Apparently they're not friends anymore, but yeah, so there you go.
(01:02:17):
Interesting think. Kelly Clarkson has filled a divorced from her
husband of seven years as Brandon and Kelly no more.
We love them both. We're wishing Kelly the best. No
comment on why they're splitting up, but we are wishing
them both well. Robert de Niro has opened up about
raising biracial children. He says it is very scary. He
(01:02:38):
said he does think that he does take certain things
for granted though, and he also was saying that there
are good cops out there that you know, we do
have to let the bad ones go, he said, but
please remember that there are good ones out there. Let's see, um,
San Diego. Comic Con will be happening, even though it
will be online. I know this is a big deal
because Comic Con is so huge to so many people.
(01:03:01):
I know, it's one of my favorite things in New
York every year. It will be happening July twenty second
to the twenty six online. It will be free, so
I will obviously when we get closer, I will give
you more details there. So there's a petition online to
retheme Splash Mountain in Disney World in Disneyland, because you know,
it's based on the movie Song of the South. It
(01:03:21):
is a such a bad movie. It's it's so racially
troubling that Disney doesn't even play it. They don't even
show it. So people are saying, and I think this
would be an awesome idea to retheem it the Princess
and the Frog, which is the first Disney Black princess,
you know, Princess Tiana. How cool would that be a
ride based on her Splash Mountain. The ride itself, just
(01:03:45):
getting wet on that ride is so much fun, so
they definitely need to keep that part of the ride,
but retheeming it would be pretty cool. So there is
a petition online to do that. Idea. Let's take it
and retheem It all about scary out trying to find
it a birthday gift for his dad. Okay, well, you
come down the log flume and the water splashing, it's scary.
(01:04:07):
It's like, oh no, I got for dad. Oh my gosh,
let's have a scary theme part all right, and BTS,
we'll be releasing a map of the Soul seven the
Journey um. It will be going digitally in July. It's
the first Japanese album for them in two years. In August,
the physical album will come out, So I know fans
(01:04:27):
are very excited about that. And I know I never
talked about Sharon Stone, but I thought this was so crazy.
She once got hit by lightning while filling her iron
with water. So she has a well in her backyard.
She had one hand on the fawcet and one hand
on the iron and the well got hit by lightning.
At the time, she was filling it right, she said
(01:04:49):
it knocked her across the kitchen into the refrigerator. She
was so full of electricity she had to get an
EKG every day for the next ten days to make
sure she was okay. She has had the worst luck ever, right,
like a lazy things have happened to her and her
husband or ex husband whatever. I'm like, oh my god,
stay inside. I think that was crazy story. Yeah, yeah, exactly,
(01:05:12):
that wasn't She's still getting in trouble inside. Let's see
um television this weekend. Netflix has a lot of really
cool things. There's a show called The Five Bloods. You
may want to watch that. Season two of Dating Around,
Season four of f is for Family. Hulu's got some stuff,
you know, our Pete Davidson's got the King of Staaten Island.
Josh Gadd. When's Josh goad on with us soon? Right?
(01:05:33):
Next next Josh dadd in the Zoom Room coming up?
All right, Artemis Foul that's out on Disney Plus. Uh
and next hour, we have to talk about ghost Adventures.
Oh my gosh, they're Quarantine Special is so ridiculous and
it's gonna scare you. So we'll talk about that next right, Daniel,
love you, thank you. We're back after this with Josh
gadd hang on. We love Melissa works at a hospital,
(01:05:56):
so you're going in every day. Yes, thank you so
much for working on the front lines. Melissa, Thank you,
and thanks for listening to us. Thank you, Thank you
guys for doing this every morning show. Honey is the

Slash live in the Mercedes AMG Interview LOUNGEOW, we welcome
Josh Gadge to the show. Hi Josh, Welcome to the
zoom room. Hey Mu, measure. I wish I could be
(01:06:38):
welcome to a physical room in which we could be together,
but unfortunately that's still not an option. Same. Thrilled to
be here digitally with all of you. No, you have
a whole list of things to talk about. First of all,
listen sort of a wellness check. We wanted to call
and make sure Josh is doing okay. How are you doing?
How are you about? Healthy? Breakfast? Burrito Riddy to go,
(01:07:00):
which is a nutritious way to start. I'm sure I'm
getting all the nutrients I need with that. You know,
there's nothing quite like being trapped in your home for
four months and counting, homeschooling two children, slowly losing your mind.
But otherwise things are great. Have you learned that you
(01:07:22):
are not, in fact smarter than the fifth grader or no? Oh? No,
I learned that I'm not, in fact smarter than a
kindergartener or a third I dare say, I don't even
want to think about what it would be like to
go up against a fifth grader. So, Josh, you're doing
this interview somewhere in your home. What room is this
(01:07:43):
that you've you've invited us into. I don't know. I
just found it. I hope the owner doesn't mind me
being in here. This is my office. This is where
I shoot my digital series Reunited Apart, which it brings together.
They're some of my favorite casts from some of my
favorite films, all in the name of charity, and we
(01:08:06):
love that you're doing that. By the way, I wish
we had broken up as a morning show. I feel
like we were actually guests on your show. So maybe
when we do break up. By the way, we could
do this as an episode of Reunited Apartment. It wouldn't
make sense to a lot of people, but I don't
think making senses overrated. Is can you do a show
(01:08:27):
and tell? Is there something there in your personal collection
that you want to like? Show us and give us
a story about any I'll give you a little tour.
Hang on, second, it's early. Why don't we take them adventure? Um?
So h here we have a Dwayne Wade sign poster
that my brother got me for my birthday. I'm a
big Miami heat family got a bunch of toys because
(01:08:49):
I'm a grown I'm a grown man. So that's We
have some recording equipment. I've I've had to record lots
and lots of audio from my home, including for Central Park.
So we have that. Uh, there's an old off U.
Basically when when you start the process, Uh, oh what's that?
(01:09:12):
That's a grammy, Oh look at that? Look at that?
When you start Oh there's another Daniel love that. So yeah,
so that that's uh, that's that's some of the treasures
(01:09:35):
in here that my wife wants to burn. I know you,
your kids, know you as dad, But do your kids
think it's like totally cool that you are all off?
My kids are over it. My kids couldn't care about there.
There's so like, Dad, leave us. It's so funny because
(01:09:56):
we uh, we were yesterday day were on some sort
of school zoom chat and a couple of the third
graders started singing songs from Central Park, which was surreal,
and my my nine year old does can we do
anything but that? And I was like wow, wow, wow,
(01:10:19):
just like not even remotely entertaining the fact that school
what I do? I daddy? Who does fun voices? Nope?
Not Wow. It deflates you so quickly, like a tire
on a well. Yeah, by the way, if you're just
turning us on Josh gadd is here, today's a big day.
(01:10:40):
It's a big release day about for Josh and everyone
else who worked on Artemis Foul. We're gonna get into
that in a second. But we've we've brought up Central
Park several times, you know. We had Leslie Odam Jr.
On the other day and we were talking about how
exciting Central Park is and what a great concept. I mean,
if you had to like give us the paragraph what
it's about describe it well. This show, which was created
(01:11:02):
by myself and Lauren Bischarp, who created Bob's Burgers, and
his partner Norah Smith, is is essentially about this family
that actually lives in Central Park called the Tillerman's and
Lesie odom Junior's character Owen, is the caretaker of the
park and they're sort of up against the world. It's
a love letter to passion. It's a love letter to
(01:11:25):
doing what you love, even in the face of great adversity.
In this case, that adversity comes in the form of
a very short and stout female Stanley Tucci playing this character,
Britzy Brandon ham On her sidekick Helen, played by the
brilliant of the Diggs, also from Hamilton's And it's just
it is such a joyful it's such a shot of
(01:11:50):
joy and adrenaline at a time when I think we
needed in this dark, dark world. And the best part
is it is a It is a full fledged musical.
I mean it is a living, breathing music. What we're
talking about four songs an episode, and they're not fleeting songs.
They're songs that will make you sore. So it's been
great and Leslie was actually my college classmate, so Leslie
(01:12:13):
and I went to Carnegie Mellon together. He may have
talked about this, or he may have avoided it because
he doesn't like me very much. And we were classmates
in uh from nineteen ninety nine to two three at
Carneie Mellen. Yeah, he told us the other day when
we were on with us so that you never paid
him for a project. And he's finally excited that you're
(01:12:34):
paying him for something that you made him do. Oh,
you've been just getting big for Central Park. That's so cute.
All right, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna break the
news to him. So Central Park of course on Apple TV.
Let's move on to what's happening today on Disney plus
Artemis Fowl, which, of course as a filmmaker, as an artist,
(01:12:56):
you know, I'm sure the anticipation of having everyone seeing
it all the big screen is just huge. So how
are you feeling about how you have to distribute it
now with on the smaller tube? Are you still cool? That?
Is it still as exciting for you? Nobody's a bigger
fan of the cinema experience than I am. I you know,
it's why I'm doing Reunited apart. I love not only
seen movies, but I love experiencing them on the big
(01:13:18):
screen with an audience. Having said that, I'm so grateful
that we live in a time in which being trapped
in your house for a large swap of the country,
still we have the ability to give you the gift
of a big budget film all from the safety and
(01:13:39):
comfort of your home. So to me, it's a it's
a trade off, but one that I think is worthy
of the moment. As as a dad of two little girls,
I know that I'm always looking for content that we
can watch, that's original, that's fun, that's for everyone, and
Artemis spouse sort of chucks off all those boxes. Well
(01:14:00):
that this is excellent. Also your relationship with Disney. Plus
you've got other stuff in the works as well. Right,
I heard you're doing a Beauty in the Beast prequel
series like a limited series. And also you're doing, uh,
like a Honey, I Shrunk the Kids sequel called Shrunk.
You've got a lot of stuff going on, So Honey
I Shrunk the Kids is a theatrical film, Well, we hope, uh,
(01:14:22):
And depending on the same of the world in a
year from now. But yeah, that's a sequel that I'm
doing with Rick moranis um coming out of retirement to
reprise the role of Waynes school I'm playing is uh
and uh. And if there were a Beauty in the
Beast prequel project on Disney Plus, I certainly wouldn't be
allowed to talk about it except to say that I'm
(01:14:43):
sure it's going to be pretty unbelievable. But I can't
say that, so I won't. I guess, my, my, my
sharp shooting investigators have dug too deeply and found out
some scandalous stuff here. Oh yeah, hey, so you know, look,
I love that you're waking up so early to talk
(01:15:05):
to us about, especially Artemis foul. I really don't love.
I don't like the fact that I'm talking to you
before the sun has awoken. But so on, well, I'm
glad you did. You can go back to bed. But
that's of course a tabuting on Disney Plus today. But
all in all, with how the whole world is trying
(01:15:27):
to find its shape in many different remarkable ways right now,
how are you doing? What's your philosophy on life and
how you're feeling about the future. You know, I think
that there's two ways to look at twenty twenty, which
is the bleakest hour for humanity in my lifetime. At least,
there's either the glass is half empty and we can
(01:15:50):
sort of sit and bask in the hopelessness of what's
been presented to us, which, by the way, I've been
guilty of over the course of the past two weeks plus.
We can look at it as an opportunity, an inflection point,
and I prefer to think of it in those terms,
as a glasses half full approach. I think, I think
(01:16:12):
we can use this time, and I hope we use
this time to write a lot of wrongs, to fix
a lot of things. You know. I feel like I
feel like the planet itself has put us in time
out to think through a lot and um and I hope,
I know that I'm doing a lot of soul searching
and I'm doing a lot of discovering, a lot of listening,
(01:16:33):
a lot of awakening. And I hope everyone is using
it because when have we ever had the time to
stop and just think and be. So that's sort of
my philosophy, for better or for worse. Right now, well,
I tell you, in the body of all the pieces
of work, that you're you're giving to us as your gift.
(01:16:53):
We thank you because everything you're doing is so colorful
and fun and forward thinking and that's awesome. And I
don't know, do you missed live theater? Do you miss
being on Broadway? Chris? Book of Mormon was just more
than anything. I miss live theater where I was actually, um,
you know, I'm toying with doing something hopefully next year,
(01:17:14):
and you know it's it's in this in these uncertain times.
It's it's difficult to think about a world in which
live theater um isn't available to us for for the
foreseeable future. But yes, I miss it terrible. Well, there's
always Crosswalk the Musical with James Cordon. I mean, you
can always do that. That is. I love that walking
through traffic is safer than doing live theater. Now, all right,
(01:17:40):
it's true. Hey Gandhi, did you want to talk to
Josh about anything before we let him go back to bed.
I just have a question about where you had that
grammy strategically placed in the back corner of a shelf.
Why is that? Who made you put that there? Because
mine would be like in the bathroom above the toilet,
so everyone can see it in the bathroom above. Everyone
(01:18:00):
will see the most unsanitary place to keep a grammy
of all time. I don't know why it's in there,
but I want to help you get it out. I uh,
you know, I don't know. I guess. I guess. My
wife just really was like, Nope, you're gonna hide this.
She likes to deflate my ego as often as possible,
(01:18:21):
keep me grounded. She said, your household seems awesome. I
love them. Great, great guy, Josh, thank you so much
for your time today, and uh, congratulations on all the incredible,
incredible projects that you're giving us. And come see us
anytime in person, anytime you want. I would love that.
(01:18:44):
I'll pay you all the visit to your house and
do the show from there. I guess. Okay, no problem, Josh.
Don't forget Artis artimaus Foul Disney Plus today and also
you can check out Central Park on Apple TV as well.
Thank you, Josh. Have a great day to day. Okay,
have a great one, guys. Thanks for having open the
iHeart Radio app and here everything you missed with Elvis
(01:19:06):
durand on demand. I listen to the music. That's what
I'm listening to you guys. Yeah, I know Alvis Durand
in the Morning show. Hey, it's scary Jones. And when
it comes to home, an auto insurance State Farm is
the real deal. File a claim or pay your bill
with the award winning State Farm Mobile app, or contact
any of their nineteen thousand local agents who are ready
(01:19:26):
to help, like a good neighbor. State Farm is dead.
What the hell? I listened to you every morning. I
think you all are great. Oh my god, love you guys.
I love you guys. I've been listening to you guys
for us. Helloa. He was the man of the hour
(01:19:48):
You First Gonna Shake. We love hearing the big him.
He was a very sweating guy's gang. He's just a
sloppy drunk you the man would deploy the boy up
(01:20:14):
in the Morning show. How much do we love Josh Gad?
Wasn't that great? It's amazing, amazing. Danielle was geeking out.
You guys didn't see it, but in the zoom room
we could see her totally geeking out with with Josh
Gadd on the of the show. Really, it's all off,
it's all off some of the characters. It's a loft, uh, Hey,
(01:20:39):
I gotta tell you, thank you, Josh gad and support
everything and anything he does. Um. Anyway, we'll get into
the list of what he does in the Daniel report
coming up in a few minutes. Let's go round the room.
I want to see what's on your minds. Wake up, sisters.
We'll start with you. Froggy, Froggy, my sister, my sister,
what's happening. Well, you know, it's going to be a
difficult weekend here in the Froggy Householdly is leaving, so
(01:21:01):
my son and I are left to find for ourselves
with the dogs. Dogs might not eat for the whole weekend.
We might not. I mean, I don't even know how
this is gonna go. So it's very rough. When Lisa
lese town, it's gonna be a rough weekend here. So
you know what happens, I'm gonna call you out. So
Lisa's gonna go in for two nights, and ten minutes
before she gets home, it'll be Frog and Caden working
(01:21:23):
on that pile of dishes in the sink, like just
slowly getting the pile to come down. The place turns
into a big like a like a wreck pit. Right,
I mean, your whole house is a mat. It'll be
a frat house for two days. And then right before
she gets here, I'll make sure that she calls me
when she's thirty minutes away so we have time to
clean up. She should just like just drive up, or
(01:21:44):
she should say hey, honey, I'm about an hour away,
and then she should like pull up in the driveway
and walk in. Help be the worst day ever. Underwear
on the ceiling fan going round and round. All right, well,
it's gonna be a boy's weekend. Here we go, Gandhi,
what are you doing? What's on your today? Oh? Man?
So I don't know how people have children, because I
think I would lose my mind from worry. You know,
(01:22:06):
I have these glowfish and my little snail named Hoodie.
Hoodie and the glowfish. So I've been working on their
tank and yesterday I noticed Hoodie the snail was floating,
and I'm like, snails don't float. This is crazy. Oh
my god, he's dead. Then I noticed he was going
for a ride in the water filter, like he was
just bouncing up and down with the air. So I thought,
this is it. I took him out. I know, he
looks like he was having a good time, but I
(01:22:27):
thought for sure he'd kicked the bucket, so I took
my camera and I recorded him in time laps when
he finally settled on the ground, He's alive, if anybody
was concerned. But that consumed all day yesterday and even
into this morning, just making sure my stupid snail was alive.
I was so worried about him. People with kids, I
don't know how you do it. In order to check
his snails vitals. You have to use your time labs cameras.
(01:22:51):
All right, Well, hoodie lives on. Love that he went
to the water park yesterday for a little recreation. Hey,
I posted a video he was having a ball. You know,
the three of us who've been coming into the Tribeca
studios every morning have really let ourselves go and really
gotten relaxed by not dressing up, dressing so down it's
not even funny. I've taken it to a new level
(01:23:11):
of laziness today. By h Well, I didn't wear socks
with my shoes, and my feet started to sweat, so
I took my shoes off. The bad stinch. But here's
the fill. Nate was like, dude, you don't know what's
on that carpet You're walking up and down the radio station.
I'm like, it's just the three of us for the
last three and a half months. It's just us. It's like,
I feel like I'm in my own living room now
(01:23:33):
walking around COVID. COVID finds a way you are, you
are slashing around in COVID. Yeah, And also keep in
mind everyone who walks on the streets of Manhattan where
all the dog crap leftover and stuff, They've then walked
through our radio station on that carpeting, and now you
got dog fecal matter between your toes mingling with COVID,
(01:23:57):
good god, man, and scary. Don't ask the h W
or the WHO or the CDC. They'll tell you one
day you can get it through your feet, and the
next day they'll say you can't. So just pretend that
is true. You got worms anyway, put your shoes on. Hey,
what's up there, Dan Yellow. I'm just excited that I
get to see my mom today after three months of
(01:24:18):
not seeing her in person, and I know she's a
nervous wreck about actually being here. She's like, I don't
know with the mask, so I bring the mask. I
mask on mask off, you know, so we have like
the social distancing conversation last night, Like, okay, guys, we
can't be on top of grandma. Let's try not to
sit on the same couch. If she wants us to
wear our masks, we will, like we all make sir,
(01:24:40):
we're on the same page to make sure she's comfortable.
So we'll see how it goes today and I'll report
back on Monday. But we're very excited to finally see
By the way, Straight and eight Senior Executive Producer to
the Stars is not really paying close attention, but he
did hear you use the words all right, let's not
get on top of grandma. Interesting Area code five one
(01:25:03):
six says it's my first day back at work. So
happy to be listening to you guys again. We've been
here all along, We've never left. We're still here. Airy
code six three one says, Oh my god, I actually
kind of feel like this COVID thing was a little
bit of a blessing in disguise for me. It gave
me an opportunity to work on the relationship with myself
and learn more about me. Very good point. Have you
(01:25:24):
guys actually put a little thought into that, and maybe
some less than others, because I don't if you're by
yourself a lot during these COVID days, it's one thing
if you're still with your family, but still, you know,
if if you're if you're with your family and that's it,
you're learning more about your family than you would have otherwise. Probably,
I don't know. So there are blessings in disguise during
this really weird time in our lives. Hey, uh, let's
(01:25:46):
get into some sound with Garrett. Nate. I went to
get breakfast. I bet is that where Nada. It's very busy.
They're very very busy. Let's get in sound with Garrett. Garrett,
what do you her? Hold on? Hold on? What's for
breakfast with the kids? What do you make it? Well? Elvis,
(01:26:06):
I found this one online and this is a very
simple Friday slash Monday breakfast. So you take a banana.
It's called banana sushi. You take a banana, you take
some fruity pebbles, and you roll the banana in the
fruity pebbles and then you chop it up kind of
like sushi. So the kids think they're having sushi, but
they're having a banana fruity pebbles, maybe throw a little
fruit on top. And yeah, it's called breakfast sushi. That
(01:26:26):
sounds awesome, scary, try eating it, all right, shame on you, scary.
It sounds good. Go right anyway, all right, let's talk
about neighbors in Smithtown, Long Island. They all got together
about fifty families and they surprised their ups driver. His
(01:26:47):
name's Greg Watkins. He's been their driver for about thirteen years,
so he's been delivering package to the neighborhood for about
thirteen years. They surprised him with signs, cards, gifts as
a form of thank you for doing what he's doing
during COVID. You're a sa to work a bit. You've
always been essentials twice. You know, our families and your
families we had doore you and we just want to
say thank you. So yay. Celebrate the people who bring
(01:27:18):
the stuff to your house because they've actually put their
lives on the line just to keep those boxes there coming.
And by the way, if you give a kid a
bowl of fruity pebbles versus just rolling a nice nice
piece of fruit like banana and fruity pebbles, I think
that's less fruity pebbles they're getting. I think that's probably
healthier than a bowl of fruity pebble scary. Just okay,
(01:27:40):
you get a banana, lots of fiber, potassium. Talk to
a little garnish less. Last night Late Show with Stephen Colbert,
he had Judd Apatow on, Judd Appetel produced The King
of stan Alan, Pete Davidson, and Judd Appetel kind of
called out Stephen Colbert for not seeing the movie. Let's
talk about your movie. I'm a movie. How you like it?
(01:28:00):
It was great? It was really good. I really enjoyed it.
It was it was so funny. Pete Davidson was so funny.
He did that character who was funny but but also
really sad, and you're worried about him. Did you not
see it? I haven't had chance yet. I really want
to watch it. I do want to watch it. I
do want to watch it. Watch it too. I'm very busy.
(01:28:25):
I'm very busy, and I have and I want it.
You send it to me, and I'm very grateful. But
instead we watched Missus America with Kate Blanchett. I'm so
mad at you, Stephen. I like I said it you
not like two days ago. I send it you a
month ago, all right, So that was last night. There
(01:28:46):
is a prank going on TikTok right now. So girlfriends
are pranking their boyfriends when they go to Starbucks. So
there's a strawberry flavored drink called the Pink Drink. But
what girlfriends are telling their boyfriends when they pull up
to order is it's called the pinkety drink. It and
their boyfriends are getting embarrassed. Anything else. Yeah, and I'll
have a pinkaty drinkity for the lady. Pinkaty drink, the
(01:29:11):
pink drink if that's what it's. Yeah, she set me up. Okay, okay, Dan,
all right, so try it this weekend. See what happens
Jake Miller. And if you're gonna try and make sure
it's on TikTok, or it didn't happen Jake Miller. We
post this on our socials yesterday. But he put out
(01:29:33):
a song on TikTok called we Should Get a Puppy
and it sounds like this. It's so great. You have
to see the video. He's getting hard. We're fighting every day.
My family's falling apart. Only one thing, because save this
household now. So mom, dad, just hear us out. We
should get a puppy. We should get a what something small,
something fluffy, absolutely not and we could put him in
our TikTok's every night and even get him a ring
(01:29:54):
light and he'll go viral because he's really cute and cuddly.
It's really a great video. Yeah, he walked into his
mom and dad's bedroom and they're like, what, We're getting
a puppy. I love you, Jack. He's so great. So, Elvis,
you got quoted yesterday by one Ryan Seacrest on Live
with Kelly and Ryan yesterday, and this is what Ryan
had to say, as the great Elvis Duran Z one
(01:30:16):
hundred New York City once told me, remember, you can
pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you
can't wipe your friends on the couch. So share that
with the DJing Twists. It's Elvis Duran philosophy one on one. Hello.
And then we got this tweet yesterday from Julianne at
(01:30:37):
Atastasio and her daughter started reading during quarantine and one
of her first books was the Elvis Duran Book and
she she captured this right here. Maria this is your mate,
Ran pauls is certain. Rayhan hands ready, and I think
I just cracked right there. There you go, little kids
(01:31:02):
reading that Elvis Duran book. Where do I begin? Oh? Lord,
get that kid out of get that kid out of
away from that book. And that's Lord, And that's that.
Thank you, Garrett. You have a beautiful weekend. You're a
good American. You tell the kids we said hi, and
enjoy the fruity pebbles sushi. That's fat years scary. You
(01:31:22):
do see what I'm saying? Right? Yeah, yeah, I just
dot when he said banana, I'm thinking of sugar, fruity
pebbles sugar and then fruit sugar. I'm like, that's three
times of sugar. That's a lot of sugar. I love
that you. I love that you're yelling about that. But
who is the worst eater on this entire show? Exactly
balanced eater? Yeah? Well balanced? All right? Oh lord, all right,
(01:31:52):
we have you know, hey straight Nate, are you back
from getting your breakfast? I am helus. You know we
have options here. What do you have? We could? We
have Danielle and we have three things that we didn't
get to. Oh you want to talk about the donation
to the North Sor Animal EU. Yes, we got to
do that. Do they know we're donating or we're getting
money for them? I think you're announcing at Elvis, so
(01:32:14):
they'll find out when you speak. Well, as you know, Max,
my schnauzer, he's my world. And we have another. We
have another puppy on the way. More to be announced
there soon. True Dog and Halo pet food some of
the best pet foods known to man. They've teamed up
to help support COVID nineteen really for pets which they
need help to. They're actually donating two hundred thousand dollars
(01:32:35):
in cash and product to pet shelters and rescue groups
across the country. You know, when you hear of companies
that not only have a great product out there or
a great service, and then you also know that they're
helping people in need or in this case, animals in need,
you need to support them. So True Dog and Halo
Pets donating two hundred thousand dollars to pets and shells
(01:33:01):
actually pet shelters that need it and rescue groups here
in New York. The donations are going directly to North
Shore Animal League, our favorite. They've They've actually done a
great job out there at North Surroundimal League taking care
of pets during COVID nineteen. So True Dog and Halo Pets.
They actually came to us and asked us where do
you want your local funds to go, and we chose
(01:33:21):
North Shore Animal League. So True Dog, Halo pet Foods.
They always put pets first and they're not slowing down.
If you want to learn more about them, go to
Halo Pets dot com. That's h A l O Pets
dot com and look, if you have a pet, you
know about digestion and how important that is for the
health of your parent your pet. What is the slogan
they use for the proof is a true dog or Halo.
(01:33:43):
It's a halo and on the top of their website
has a little duty emoji with a halo and it's
says the proof is in the poop, a little little
poop emoji with a halo on halo. It's like an engine,
an angelic Poop's true. You know what, You can tell
a lot about you, your health and your dog's health
(01:34:03):
by checking the poop out, So just you know which
reminds me you know you have fish and a slug
living with you a snail rather Gandhi. Do you check
their poop to make sure they're they're healthy creatures? So
I don't usually, but I did notice yesterday and my
quest to find out whether or not Hoodie was alive,
he was pooping during the time lapse. It just took
(01:34:24):
a long time to realize, Oh, yes, everything poops, so
true dog. Halo Pet Foods, we love you in North
tri anomally. You know how much we love you, So
we go to Halo pet dot com and support them.
All right, let's get into the Danielle Report. Danielle, Yes,
all right. So we have the first black Bachelor, Matt James,
And if you know the Bachelor franchise then you know
(01:34:47):
who he is. He was actually a friend of Tyler
Cameron when the Hannah Brown season was going on, and
so people are also asking, Okay, how are they going
to do the Bachelor this year? It's going to be hard,
isn't it with all the coronavirus stuff. So this isn't
supposed the premiere until twenty twenty one, so they have
time to cast and to figure it all out and
(01:35:08):
hopefully shoot the series because you know, we don't know
what's going to happen, so they're working on that now.
But Matt James will be your bachelor. Kelly Clarkson has
filed for divorce from her husband of seven years, Brandon,
so our best is going out to them. They have
not given a reason for the split, but they are splitting,
and like I said, we are sending our best. Lady
(01:35:30):
Antebellum has decided to change their name. They're just going
to call themselves lady a That's actually what fans have
been calling them for years. If you didn't know where
the name Antebellum came from in the first place, they
said it was the Southern style home where they took
their first photos. But they realize now that Antebellum is
really a word that refers to a period of time
(01:35:53):
before the Civil War, a time of slavery, and they
don't want to be associated with that, and so obviously
that is why they're changing the name. They just, you know,
they feel it's the right thing to do, so from
now on it will just be Lady a Um. Let's see,
rumors are going around that Andy Cohen was trying to
get Laurie Laughlin on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. He
(01:36:15):
wants everybody to know. Now she's not gonna be on
the show. And I wasn't trying to get her on
the show. Not gonna happen. You know, she's got a
little court thing going on right now. And yeah, he's
not interested. So there you go. Um, So people have
been debating for years the ending of The Sopranos. Did
Tony Soprano die? Was? You know? Did it happen? Well,
(01:36:37):
the creator accidentally may have revealed the truth. He was
doing a little little a little interview and it leaked
and he called the interview the death scene. And yeah,
so now everybody thinks Tony Soprano did die and he
gave it away, and now we know what happened at
the end of The Sopranos. I don't know. I'm kind
(01:36:57):
of I kind of am disappointed that, I know, because
I felt like after I watched it, it left me
to interpret it myself, and now it kind of puts
the kabash on that for me. Well, yeah, it's always
sometimes it's sometimes it's good just to kind of wonder,
I wonder if he died or not, well exactly, And
now well there goes that ghost Ventures Launch. Ghost Adventures launched.
(01:37:20):
They create a creepy quarantine special. I don't know if
you've seen it. They weren't quarantine for fourteen days inside
a haunted museum in Las Vegas. Oh my gosh. It's
a four part miniseries on the Travel Channel. Apparently it's
like the highest rated Travel Channel miniseries thing that they've
ever done, and you have to see it. They said,
it's so scary. I haven't watched it yet, but I've
(01:37:40):
seen like little clips and just go and watch it.
There's something inside of this museum that apparently when post
Malone went and visited the museum, they're saying it put
a curse on post Malone. So there's like a whole
thing about this museum. So you might want to do
some research on it as well while you're watching. Maybe
it gives you something to do this weekend if you
(01:38:02):
have no other plans. But there's a lot on television
because Netflix has some really cool things. The Five Bloods
is out, Season two of Dating Around, Season four of
f is for Family. Hulu's got a couple of things.
Pete Davidson, you know he has his Amazon Prime The
King of Staten Island, Josh gadd Artemis Foul is out
on Disney Plus. So there are a lot of good
(01:38:22):
things on television this weekend, and that is my Danielle Report.
Thank you, Danielle. All right, coming up, we've got food
News with Froggy. Also, you have until the seventeenth, which
is next week, to enter the All In Challenge. You
could co host our show here in New York as
soon as we're together being able to have a co
(01:38:43):
host end and I will take you to our jingle
Ball concert, take you back stage, let you hang out
while we interview the stars, and you can walk the
red carpet everything and have brunch with us, and we'll
put you up in a hotel, the whole thing. If
you want to win the All In Challenge, it's as
little as ten dollars to enter for your chance to
win our package, and of course all money goes toward
feeding the hungry. Every penny does. If you want to go,
(01:39:05):
sign up right now, it's simple. Go to All In
Challenge dot com into a search for the Elvis Durand show.
It's that simple. Let's take a break. We're back right
after this. Yeah, I know we're double with you. You
can go away now show in the morning show. All right,
(01:39:27):
you know, I'm all excited about Froggy's Food News, where
you'll hear an obnoxious intro jingle. It'll make you want
to pop your eyeballs out and just stomp on them.
That's not nice. But then no, yeah, no, it's irritating.
You know, it's irritating these intro jingles at Brody wrote,
Let's get Brody on the phone. Let's tell them we
got we need some new ones. Hey, Brody rode for
(01:39:49):
three hours. Good for you. Your your garage is the
lucky one. Hey, so it's time for we need some
new jingles Froggies Food News. These are just kind of
old and kind of boring. Okay, I can get that done.
Not a problem. That was kind of insulting how I
(01:40:09):
said that. I don't mean old and boring. I do
think it's something to freshen them up there irritated, It's okay.
By the way, again our Zoom Room fifteen minute morning
show podcast with Brodie trying to get into a microphone
to work. It's still my all time favorite. It's fabulous.
If you can, you'll watch it. It's living on our
social anything else you want to you point want to
(01:40:31):
point out today while we have you on the phone. Well,
my mom's birthday is next week, and so our entire
family because we can't visit our we're all like forty
of us are going to zoomer on Sunday. So wish
me luck. If you thought I was bad, this should
be interesting. Best of luck with that, yeah, Brodie? All right, Brodie,
(01:40:55):
anything else you want to share? You know we're not
doing a fifteen minute morning show podcast today. You don't
have to worry about being seen. Oh you know what,
I bought a um a tripod that extends upward from
my phone, So GANDHI will be happier with my angle
next week. Yeah, but I didn't buy a two hundred
dollar ring light like Scary did. But I'm working on
(01:41:17):
I got the better angle coming, so all my fans,
for all my fans, he'll be able to see the
top of my nose. Now, all right, Brodie, Uh, have
a beautiful weekend. We may come back in a moment,
so don't don't disappear, all right. I'll stay here in
the garage. Have little step stool set up, Oh, comfy
(01:41:39):
cozy step stool, all right, hold on one second. All right,
it's now time for food news with Froggy here. That's right,
Froggy's news about grub. Yes, here we go. Fans of
fruity flavored KLA's get ready. Pepsi is releasing a After
(01:42:02):
the launch of berry lime and mango Pepsi last year,
they are bringing out another variety to kickoff summer. This
time it is Pineapple Pepsi, same classic cola in a
blue can, but this time it's got a splash of
pineapple juice in it. They'll be eight packs of it
available at Walmart. But know this, if you're a fan
of pepsi limes, start stocking up on that. They're getting
(01:42:25):
ready to stop shipping that will be prepared. Oh. KitKat
has a new flavor coming out for summer as well.
There was a rumor last year they would try apple
pie flavor, and that rumor is true. Coming out the summer,
the crisp kit Cat wafer surrounded in apple pie flavored
white cream, will be in a bright yellow package and
(01:42:46):
available for only a limited time starting in July. I
need to try this. I'm going to give that one
a try. I love everything from the Kitcat line. Yeah,
Pringles and Wendy's have it teamed up. They are now
doing bacon eader chips at Wendy's. The goals to get
all the flavors of the bacon eador burger, a half
(01:43:06):
a pound of beef, American cheese, six pieces of apple,
would smoked bacon, catchup, and mayo into a single chip.
And they have nailed it. So if you like the
bacon eador, you can get the Pringles now in the
bacon eador flavor. Why would you want mayo in a chip?
Stop Danielle So. Elvis Dominoes has said they've given out
(01:43:29):
a list of the best ways to reheat their pizza,
and they say stop or reheating their pizza or any
pizza in a microwave. Yes, says you could do. The
very first thing they say is to heat it in
Gandhi an air fryer like you have. Why you're DeLong
The air fires perfect for reheating pizza. A frying pan
is another way to reheat your pizza, which Elvis has
(01:43:50):
been telling us about or It says, simply just slide
it into the oven and just warm it up really fast.
But that is the way to heat pizza. Do not
put it in the microwave. Yeah, microwave. Ready for the countdown? Yeah, oh,
we're counting down. What are we counting down? Which states
drink the most beer? And how much do they drink? Oh? Okay,
(01:44:13):
all right? Coming in at number five. Our Pennsylvanians drink
two hundred and fifty nine point four million gallons of
beer a year, a piece each total a right. New
York three hundred and twenty seven point five million gallons
of beer a year in New York coming in at
(01:44:33):
number four. Now, my people, the Florida men, they are
drinking third, four hundred and twenty three million gallons of
beer a year. You know what A lot a lot
of women like a lot of women in Florida like
their beer too, Let's be honest, they do. But the floor,
you know, the Florida man's got to be drunk to
do most of the stuff he's doing. So that's why
I said that. Good point. Texas six hundred and twenty
(01:44:57):
six point three million gallons of beer a year, coming
into number two. All right, do you have to gain?
Do you have to hold on? Do you have to guess? Who?
Do you think he is? Number one? Number one? State. Yeah,
I'm gonna do some weird state like Maine or something
like that. No, it's California. Yeah, drinks the most beer.
There is the most people. But they drink seven hundred
(01:45:20):
and twenty five million gallons of beer year in California.
That's a lot of beer. Part I am pretty disappointed
in New York showing on their number four our population
is through the roof. We're not drinking at all everything
New Yorkers even we're an equal opportunity drinker. I look,
(01:45:41):
we should do this thing on our show. Uh gandhi.
It's it's called the beer burp. Where you go? You
you sound like a leaking tire, like, oh, beer burp.
It's so bad. It has that hot beer smell like
Daddy used to have. There you go, Food News foods.
(01:46:10):
Those are all based on jingles from the nineteen seventies.
All right, we'll tell you we'll be back right after this.
This is Elvis Durand in the Morning show. So much's
going on, and you know the weekends here. Oh by
the way, a few things of note. Scary you're coming
in hot. Turn their music down, thank you. Scary's always
coming in hot. Have you noticed that no, he's coming
(01:46:34):
in hot today. Uh Q one on two in Philly.
If you listen to them on your iHeart radio app,
they're doing a Philly Weekend. They're playing some of the
best music from the best artist from Philly all weekend long.
And uh let's see what else is going on this weekend. Oh,
if you're listening to us in South Florida, South Florida Prides,
which is all the best pride organizations in South Florida,
(01:46:58):
they got together to let's have some virtual parties. Let's
do some stuff since all outdoor pride parades and things
are canceled until next year. So we're doing a South
Florida Prides Happy Hour at five o'clock today. I'll be
in there with with why one hundred, Frankie p. They
have live music, they have all sorts of stuff, So
we're gonna be having cocktails five o'clock if you want
to join us in the virtual happy hour room or
(01:47:21):
raising money for COVID and we're not COVID itself, but
people who are trying to get rid of COVID. Does
that make sense? If you want to know more information,
go to Y one hundred dot com and on a
very serious. Note it was four years ago today Orlando, Florida,
the Pulse nightclub shooting. The LGBTQ community is definitely buzzing
(01:47:42):
today online. I'm watching, I'm monitoring a lot of things
they're doing and talking about. I can't believe that was
four years ago. That was such a frightening story and
it continues to be frightening today. I know that Florida's
Governor de Santis has proclaimed a few things today, right frog, Yeah,
today is a Pulsar Member Rines day, and he is
asking that all United States flags and stay to Florida
(01:48:05):
flags in the state be flown at half staff from
sunrise to sunset, and that we will recognize those forty
nine innocent people that were lost at Pulse four years ago. Yeah,
four years ago affected. Obviously, forty nine people lost, but
so so many lives affected. Bells across Orlando are ringing
(01:48:25):
forty nine rings in memory of them. So that's a
very important thing to look at today. Also this weekend,
more peaceful protests will be going on across the country.
Keep your ears open. There's a great article I was
telling Gandhi about earlier. This is the time you can
actually make your life and lives of people around you
more beautiful if you actually keep your ears open and
(01:48:47):
listen to what people have to say. Very important thing. Also,
our friend Big Herm who listens to us on Q
ninety four in Richmond. What's he doing in the ten
o'clock hour today, Danielle, So this is pretty cool. Ten
forty five to eleven am. He as a Facebook live
daily it's sots status of two Street and um. He
basically gives an update of his block and his street
(01:49:08):
and what's going on. And he will be sporting Elvis
Duran swag today. So he wants everybody to tune in
ten forty five to eleven am. And I guess it's
Big Herms kitchen, So go check him out. We love him.
I talk to him every day on Instagram. So shout
out to my boy Big Herm. You know what, we
(01:49:30):
we have new family members coming in every day. We
have a growing family here Big Big Herms the newest edition. Also,
you know in the news, let's get into the three
things we need to talk about. Gandhi. Uh, there's more
and more people more and more concerned about a coronavirus
resurgence in some areas across the country, and I think
that we are so accustomed to hearing uh one statement
(01:49:52):
one day than a conflicting statements the next day. So
now you hear Okay, guys, we're seeing numbers. Coronavirus numbers
are going up. Then some people say, well because people
more people are infected, and some people say, well 's
because more people are being tested. Who do you believe?
What do you know? What do you have going on?
What do you think? All right? The Director General of
the World Health Organization says the world must keep fighting
(01:50:13):
the coronavirus because globally and here in the United States,
the pandemic is worsening. It hasn't stopped here in the US.
He is urging people not to turn away from precautions
taking during the pandemic, which includes social distancing, washing your hands,
keeping your face covered as much as possible when in public.
The US death toll has now passed one hundred and
fifteen thousand. Senator Rand Paul is pushing to eliminate no
(01:50:35):
knock warrants. The Justice for Brianna Taylor Act was introduced yesterday.
If you didn't know, Brianna Taylor was a black woman
killed in her Louisville home during a botched execution of
a no knock warrant in March. The new legislation will
keep federal law enforcement and local police that receive federal
funding from executing no knock searches. Brianna Taylor's mother to
Mika Palmer, says her daughter would be overjoyed with this
(01:50:57):
new law. And finally, three neurosurgeons at John Hopkins Johns
Hopkins University are celebrating after doing something pretty cool. They
completed their first ever augmented reality surgery this week. That
means they put on headsets that actually projected images of
the patient's internal anatomy and they use those to insert
six screws into the patient's spine. People in the medical
(01:51:18):
community are really excited since this new technology can make
surgeries and procedures more accurate, less invasive, and safer. And
those are your three things. Hey, Gandhia, go to your
Instagram and look up Max Elvis Duran Max's uh Instagram
post channel account whatever. You know. Your boyfriend Brandon loves
these these lawnmowers, and we have one here. It broke down. Yeah,
(01:51:43):
look at that jankety old it's a jankeety jankety lawnmower.
Look at it, it's all it broke down. And look
Max's back there going hum. He would love that. He
would love to take it and retool it and make
that thing fly. Add some like nitrous to it. I mean,
he loves some stuff. That is what you got going
on right there. You ever wonder what shape? Look Look
(01:52:04):
at the seat on my lawnmower. It's all electric, taped up.
It's all jaketty out. It looks like a lay boy
looks your lawnmower. It freakin died yesterday, So we have
to buy another one of those things. Damn it day
Hell anyway, I'll have to use honey, save some money.
All right, let's take a break. Your phone tap a

Durand phone tap. This is what we'd like to call
a tag team phone tap. Let's go. The letter coming
into the phone tap offices says, my husband Justin and
I are taking a trip to Vegas next week. You see,
Justin has this hideous lucky Valure suit he loves to
wear when he gambles. He dropped it off to be
dry cleaned a month ago to make sure it would
(01:53:12):
be ready for the Vegas trip. Why don't we play
with his head a little? This comes from Ali. All right,
Ali is phone tapping her husband Justin. She's gonna be
calling from the dry cleaners trying to pick up Justin's suit.
And then tag team Garrett and Skeeter Joan join in
as the brothers who own two brothers dry cleaners. I
(01:53:32):
guess it's the name of it. Here we go, today's
phone tap. Let's listen in, shall we? Oh? Um? I
want to go pick up your suit at the dry cleaner.
I'm actually here now, and they don't have it. We
mean you don't have it, they don't have it. I
(01:53:53):
gave him the ticket and they said that they don't
have that ticket number anymore. They should have it. I
dropped it off there. There's no ways, don't sure. Yeah,
I'm sure to ask him again. Um, it's definitely gets
dry clear that we dropped it off, that I don't
see it. I've been looking for about a half hour
now and I don't see anything. So I don't even
(01:54:14):
know what you're talking about. Not here, I don't know.
He's telling me it's not hearing. Tell him to him
work again, tell him to look until he finds it.
I'm not an idiot, and he gave me the ticket,
so i'm not. This is what color was it? It's burgundy? Burgundy?
I'm sorry, but what kind of suit is burgundy? It's
a vore? Oh? I know what kind of guy he is?
(01:54:36):
All right, all right, I'll go look for it. What
kind of guy? Why didn't you put this clown on
the phone right now? Okay? Who wants to talk to you? Hi? Um?
What's your name, sir? It's Justin, Justin Lowigi. Nice to
meet you. Now. How can I help you? You guys?
Have my suit there that I dropped off a month ago.
Now you're saying you don't have it. I want to
know where it is. I gotta I'm going on vacation.
I need to suit. You know what, that's not my problem.
(01:54:56):
All I know is I get I get into your problem.
All right, listen, no need for the language. Find the suit.
Let's find the suit. I'm gonna come pick it off.
If we did lose it, what if we get you
a new one? How about that? No? No, I want
the suit that I dropped off to you, guys. I
don't want a new one. What's so special about the suit?
All honesty? All right? Between that and guys, And it
doesn't matter what's so special about it's my suit. I
(01:55:19):
want the one I dropped off. That's it, So get it.
Did you talk to my brother? I don't know who
I talked to you? Okay, No, I dropped it off
to get dry clean, and that's it. All right. Let
me say if he's in the back, Hey, marryout, marryout.
I have a gentleman on the phone. He's looking for
a burgundy suit. All right? What that? Oh my god,
(01:55:40):
that's the suit. What you're wearing? The suit? That's the suit, ma'am. No,
it's not what's going on, Yes, it is that. Look,
he's wearing your suit. Do you know what brand it is?
Because it looks exactly like what did you tell what
it is? Ma'am? Just sit down for a second. My
husband's suit. I I know it. When I see it,
(01:56:01):
I think that's it. Your brother has the suit on.
Huh here, let me see what color? What color is?
It's like a reddish it's a reddish sham. I'm coming
down there, all right, no, no, hold on, all right, loud,
have you guys right now? Are you guys are come out?
Going on here? Hallo? You got my suit on? Right now? Buddy?
(01:56:21):
This is not to your suit? How is this my
wife says? If my wife says, it's my students my suit?
All right? When did you drop it the suit off?
I dropped it off there, you idiot? When when did
you drop it off? About a month ago? If you
drop a suit off and then you forget about it
over a couple of weeks, it becomes part of my wardrobe.
This suit is not my suit. You know what I'm saying.
(01:56:43):
I'm gonna come down there and I'm gonna pound your
face and out of that suit. Jerk. What is he talking? Listen?
Let me tell you something. If the suit is lost
for a month, I figure maybe you dropped dead or
something doesn't matter. Listen to me, jerk off. I thought it.
Maybe you pass away or something and you leave a
close behind so I can wear the clothes. I wear
your suit. Think that's the way I'm gonna have you
(01:57:03):
checking the policy when you fail out the pharma. Say there,
you're listening. It's in my store. My wife on the
phone right now, you my wife on the phone. Now
it's in my suit. Now it vails nice, It fails
nice shot. I don't like the call it, but it
feels nice. What do you need to suit? The phone?
My wife on the glam shot that up and put
(01:57:24):
my wife on the phone. Now shut up that call
the police? What should I do? Give me my shoot? Listening?
Shitting me? Just hate me? Maybe that's connected or something.
I don't want to be a guy who if they're connected.
I'm getting that suit. I stop on the way home
(01:57:46):
and I'll get you on your shooth a. Right. How
am I supposed to go on vacation without my Valor suit?
You know how much money I've worn on that? What
is such a crockett? You did not want any money
with that stupid ass Valor suit. You just like it
because you think it makes me look like a play
he's gotten into you. Hey, justin you just got phone tapped.
What are you talking about? My name's Garrett from Elvis
(01:58:09):
Duran in the Morning Show. And that's scary over there.
I'm scary Jones? Are you? Are you kidding? Me? And
Mario and Luigi are part of a video game. Dude. Yeah,
they don't own a dry cleaning business. They own a
plumbing business. I believe. I don't think you're gonna fall
for it. I really didn't. I was like, really just
siding with these guys right now, I like, I don't know.
(01:58:30):
I feel so stupid right now. This phone tap was
prerecorded with permission granted by all party studies because he
knows Duran phone tap were money. Elvis Duran in the
Morning Show, Elvis Duran in the Morning Show. Hey, before
(01:58:50):
we get into out of the Danielle Report here the
last of the week, mind you, I want to say
thank you to straight Nate. He's out there talking to
a listener of ours. Yeah, you're already off the phone,
you know what. I just want to say thank you, Nate.
That was cool. Nate just took the time out of
out of his day where he could have been eating
or doing something, you know whatever, but you actually talk
(01:59:12):
to a listener and about some important things in that
listeners life. Thank you for doing that. You're you're well great.
I like you again. Yeah, he's thank you, Elvis. He's
gonna be just fine. He's gonna be just if he's
list I know exactly. It doesn't matter what it's about,
but it's just the fact that to do that, I
think that's great. Straight. Nate does have moments of heartfelt
once in a while. Yeah. Anyway, Danielle, Yeah, do this
(01:59:35):
one for night. Okay, well I'm starting off of the
bad story, so sorry, Nate. This is just then. This
is kind of crazy. Kareem Abdul Jabbar's son was arrested.
This happened Wednesday after cops say he stabbed his Orange
County neighbor multiple times. I's twenty eight years old. Name
is Adam. He appeared on Celebrity Family Feud with his
(01:59:55):
dad back in twenty seventeen. I don't know if you
remember that episode, but he's been booked on one count
of his soul with a deadly rep with a deadly weapon.
And obviously we are just learning about this uh, and
we'll give you more details as as we find out.
Kelly Clarkson, the person he stabbed is okay, by the way,
just okay, Oh, thank goodness, Okay, thank goodness. Kelly Clarkson
(02:00:16):
its fault for divorced from her husband of seven years, Brandon.
We don't know exactly what went down, but we are
wishing them both well and I'm sure we'll find more details,
but hopefully everything is good. Um, Sharon Stone, you know,
I don't talk about Sharon Stone, but I still think
this story is so crazy. She was once hit by
lightning while filling her iron with water. So she has
(02:00:37):
a well in the backyard. She was holding onto the
iron with one hand and the faucet with the other hand,
and the well got struck by lightning, and so she
wound up getting struck by lightning right got knocked across
the kitchen into the refrigerator. She was so full of
electricity that she had to have an EKG every day
for ten days. That is so crazy. Oh my gosh,
(02:01:01):
it's so crazy. How many How much time do I have?
Scary well more or no very brief, very brief quick? Okay,
jeopardy is running out of new episodes. Today's the last
new episode. Monday, we get repeats and Alex Schrebeck said
he's ready to get back to work and he's really
hoping that Jeopardy is one of the new shows that
get back into production as soon as they're ready to
start filming new shows, so we'll see what happens. Excellent, Okay,
(02:01:24):
thank you, Danielle More from the Mercedes AMG Interview Lounge.
We're calling our favorite artist and friends to give them
