wish this night would last forever ever ever after after
I want to drink and shout and letty screen, and
then I want screen and shouts and screen and shout.

(05:26):
I want a screen and shouts and screen and should write. Well,
that was interesting, right, that's a throwback. I mean, what

(05:48):
what year was that? I think that was? Could it
have been two thousand and one? That's what the computer says,
But I don't believe. No, no, that computer, I'm stupid. Well,
let's get rolled in with the show. Our first caller
of the day, Line twenty four is Brian. He heard
us talking about how I want to I want to
start raising bees and harvesting my own honey. I don't

(06:11):
know if that's a good idea anyway. So Brian, Brian,
you have bees in your family? Well, hello, lady, we
sure do. Hello, Hello, talk about it. What's it like?
Because we're afraid of beestings? But go ahead. No, Actually
they're once you own your own bees, they're actually very
docile and they're very calm. My brother actually got married

(06:32):
on my dad's property a few years ago, and the
morning of the wedding, the bees had sensed the honey
that he had underneath his barn, and my dad and
I had to go underneath the barn and pick up
these boxes with bees all over them, put him in
the back of his truck to take him out to
the field so that they wouldn't bother anybody during the wedding. Wow.

(06:55):
And so did you get one sting during that moving
of the bees? Not a single one? And we were
around hundreds and hundreds of bees. Wow. Oh you're the
bee whisperer. Well, anyway, you know where we're going? Why? No,
But here's what we get. Yesterday, the guy the bee
expert came out. He said, well, there is the problem

(07:16):
about the bear population out here. You'll have to put
on electric fencing all around it. I'm like, I have
to put up electric fences around my my bee boxes. Yep.
And then they're gonna they're gonna dive bomb you in
the swimming pool. Keep that in mind. I'm like, I
don't know, maybe I'll just buy a honey at the store.
It's like it sounds like a lot of fun. Though,

(07:37):
are you are Do you do bees as well? Brian
guy scary? Did you hang up on Brian the bee guy? No,
he's here. What did Yeah? Scary put you on hold
for some reason. Anyway, do you have bees? Um, I'm
actually being set up for next year to get my

(07:58):
own bees. Oh oh wow, Okay, I'm still thinking about it. Yeah,
it's either it's either that or just more zucchini. I
don't know. I gotta figure out what. But I can
easily take care of Well. Look, Brian, thank you for
the encouragement. It's good to hear the positive pro side
of beekeeping. We've got to send you in Elvismazing. We're
gonna send you the Elvis Duran scrubs from Hackensack, Meridian.

(08:21):
Thanks for being the first call of the day a
few months ago, and it was nice to hear from
me again. Well, what do we talk about last time
you were here? My daughter was getting tube that morning?
How she doing she night and day compared to what
she was doing before. Her face has come along and

(08:43):
her balance has been improved one hundred and fifty percent.
It's been the best thing for Yeah, it's it's really
weird being a father of a little girl who has
a balanced problem because everyone thinks you're getting her drunk. Like, no,
she's not drunk. No, I'm not doing that well. I'm
glad she's doing better. And thanks for your your b

(09:03):
PEP talk. I appreciate it. Brian, you have a great
day to Billy. You go ahead and do it. I
love you guys, and you can joy the rest of
your day. All right, thank you? Hold on one second,
there we go. Maybe I'll I'm back on the B train.
I may do it now. All right, all right, producer, same,
who are you doing horsecopes with other than Nate? Okay,
not Nate Danielle today? Yes? Good, all right, everyone loves Danielle.

(09:25):
All right. So it's Blank Lively's birthday today, Billy Ray
Cyrus is birthday today, So Capricorn, don't be frustrated by
the distance that may be put between you and a
love one. Trust your long standing bond. Your day isn't eate, Aquarius.
Your perspective is needed to realign a business or a
personal project. Speak only honestly. Ten Piscey's tensions could be

(09:47):
high as you can front a problem from your past,
look to what lessons you've learned before, and try to
improve her day's and nine aries. Refresh your wardrobe. This
could be a way to show off your own unique personality. Danielle,
thank god you're not an Aris. Your days and eight doors,
your imagination is flying high. Be sure to have a
notebook or the note app handy to record everything. Your

(10:07):
days and nine Gemini. It may seem like you're a
day late in a dollar short, but you still have
time to turn things around. Your days of seven Cancer
deep conversations with a friend will have you seeing things
in a new light. Be happy that they trust you
enough to open up your days and eight Leo, your
dreams could be preparing you for a big transformation that
you're about to undergo, so look for the messages. Your
days of nine Virgo, a strong connection will have you

(10:30):
relying on your greatest skill. Be ready to show off
your days of ten Libra, trying not to dive into
a new project, no matter how great it may sound.
Don't add any more to your plate just yet. Your
day's an eighth Scorpio. You are in a med rush
to finish everything on your to do list. However, you
have to remember you need to pace yourself. Your date
is a seven and finally, Sagittarius, a night alone will

(10:50):
help rest and refresh your perspective. Look inward for what
you might need for the coming months. Your day is
a nine and those are your Tuesday morning horoscopes. All right,
let's roll into them. Three things we need to know, Gandhi,
what's going on? All right? Protesters are still hitting the
streets in Kenosha, Wisconsin over the police shooting of a
black man on Sunday. Cars were set on fire as
crowds gathered in violation of a curfew order. Jacob Blake

(11:12):
was shot several times in the back at close range
as police responded to a domestic incident. That is what
has started all of this. He's in stable condition and
the ICU the officers are on administrative leave. None were
said to be wearing bodycams at the time. Tropical Storm
Laura is expected to become a hurricane today. The storm
entered the Gulf of Mexico last night. In his forecast
to make landfall as early as Wednesday, It could be

(11:35):
a category two or three by the time it reaches
the US coast. Hurricane watches are already in place from Galveston,
Texas to near Morgan City, Louisiana. The National Hurricane Center
says Laura could bring roughly a foot of rain to
parts of the Gulf Coast through Saturday. And finally, I
don't know if you guys heard this story, but a
woman was declared legally dead at her home before she

(11:56):
was then found breathing at a Detroit funeral home. Apparently
authorities were kind off. That's terrifying. Authorities were called to
her home on Sunday. She's only twenty years old. She
had gone into cardiac arrest. Paramedics said she wasn't breathing
and saw no signs of life, so she was declared
legally dead at the scene and then and then released
to the medical examiner at the Detroit funeral home. After

(12:16):
further examination, she was found to be breathing. So her
mother says she doesn't know if her daughter is going
to make it through, but wants answers on how this
could happen because her daughter is very much alive. Oh nice,
are your fairy things? I know? Can you imagine it? Though?
Thank god, thank god they did. No, that would be terrible, terrifying.
All right. With that said, it is Tuesday. We've got

(12:39):
lots to do today. Are you ready to go do it? Yeah? Yeah, yes,
all right, Well come on, let's go have a Tuesday.
God that's what our shows. You can stream hundreds of
hit shows and movies, plus exclusive originals with Peacock Best

(13:00):

Go to Peacock tv dot com and download and start
streaming now in the morning show. All right, not yet,
but in a few minutes, I want to get into
food fails. This happened to me last night. If you
look at my Instagram today, I give you this gorgeous
picture of these beautiful, beautiful corn fritters that I fried

(13:23):
it up myself with fresh corn off the cob that
I got it from the farm stand, and just everything
all right about it. They look great. But it was
the most frightening moment of my life because I forget
that you know, if corn gets really hot, it pops.
So at one point, all these things started popping. I
had to run out of the kitchen because I felt

(13:45):
like I was being shot at. I felt like I
felt like someone had a gun and they were they
were shooting at me. I'm like, oh my god, and
the dogs are the dogs are freaking out like what's wrong.
I'm like, oh my god, I'm I'm under siege with
my my corn fritters. I wish I could have seen that.
Oh god, no, I was squealing like, oh it was nuts. Anyway,

(14:09):
we'll get into food fails because we've all done it.
You can even talk to the best chefs in the
world and they will give you a long list of
things they have failed miserably at doing in the kitchen.
So I know that. I know Gandhi had a fried
chicken horror story. We'll get into it. Oh my god. Yes,
and I even tried to talk to you guys about
it before and get some good ideas on how to
fry this chicken. And then something terrible happened and the

(14:31):
outside of it was just like melting off the fried part.
It was just gross. I don't know if there was
too much egg. Yeah, well, it's everyone has food fails.
You just know that. And it's so it's okay, we'll
get into that in a few minutes. Producer Sam is
here with the feel goods. You want to just run
right into it, Sure, let's do it. I'm ready, all right,

(14:52):
so listener. Alison Bodie. She lives in Akron, Ohio, and
found this post on a community page it just warmed
her heart and I love it. Matt maha All was
at a local skate park and he met the mother
of this kid he sees all the time. The kid's
name is Isaiah, and he's probably not even a teenager,
yet he looks super young and apparently at this young age,
he's already been through the ringer. He won't even make

(15:13):
eye contact with other people at the park. So Matt
was talking to his mother and she said, all her
son wants to do is skate. But Matt noticed his
skateboard was barely ritable at all. It was shredded. So
without hesitation, Matt just decided to walk a few blocks
over to his house, went in his garage and got
one of his own, brand new skateboards and just brought

(15:35):
it back and handed it to Isaiah. He said. The
boy's mother just started sobbing, hugging him and thanking him.
Isaiah just smiled, and it's the first smile he's ever
seen from this kid. The entirety of their relationship at
this skate park, and it brought him so much joy
that he shared the story online and thanks to that
and the community, he now has different shoes for like

(15:55):
larger sizes so he can grow into them. He's got
a helmet. He has more skate boards from people so
that when this one wears out, he could still pursue
his dream. One little simple act of kindness turns into
a life changing moment for Isaiah. So, Matt, thank you
so much for being that person. And if you have
a story that deserves to be featured, email me Sam
at Elvistrands dot com. Subject line feel goods. What's jet

(16:19):
for dinner last night? Burt legitimately, birthday cake and birthday
pretzels Elvis, I'm not even going a girl? Who? I
love that? All right? We love you, producer, Sam. Have
a beautiful day, beautiful day, Okay, love you guys. Happy
Taco Tuesday. Hello, Yeah, God, are we gonna do that again?
I guess I was reading this morning through my prep

(16:41):
for the day, and the headline on this story was
how to get back into exercise after not doing it
for two months, And it should have had Comma elvis
at the end of it, because I'm like, oh my god,
this is written for me. I gotta get back home
that peloton I got, I gotta get I gotta start
running around. I gotta start doing something. So what do
I do? I fry corn fritters? What the hell is

(17:04):
this going on? That was a good alternate. Yeah, yeah, right.
It's very hard to get back back on the wagon
after you fall off of it totally. It is. What
I should do today is have a nice turkey sandwich,
you know, rather than you know, making pasta. I don't know, Danielle,
what do you have coming up? Oh my gosh, the

(17:25):
greatest thing could be happening to Dancing with the Stars.
Oh oh, we could use that. Yep. I still can't
believe they blew out what's his name? I liked him,
Tom Bergson? I loved him. Yeah, me too, I liked
him a lot. I liked this text. Quick question? Would
you rather listen to Danielle's laugh on repeat for an hour?

(17:48):
Or listen to straight Nate do horoscopes for an hour? Oh?
Is there a third option? Can I take both at
the same time? No? God, God, Danielle in your left
ear and you're right here? Yea, even I know that
would be no offense to either of you. Think that's uh,

(18:08):
let's take a break. We'll be back after this. Hey,
this is Dan and Shake the morning show. Uh, you
know it's Taco Tuesday. Therefore we talk about Taco Bell.
M They still have these Taco and Burrito Cravings packs,
and I'm gonna talk about them every day until everyone

(18:30):
has one. It's the least you can do. If you
want to shut me up, drive on through Taco Bell.
You know you want it, you know you crave it.
Anyway you get in the Taco and Burrito Cravings pack,
four crunchy tacos and four beefy five layer burritos. What
a great idea to drive to buy a few of
them and drop them off to your friends. They'll love
you for them anyway. For a limited time in participating

(18:52):
Taco Bell locations near you. Pick it up today the
Taco and Burrito Cravings Pack. Elvis Durrant in the Morning Show.
By the way, everyone's loving Froggy's lows commercials. I want
to hear more. Froggy's been redoing his front his front porch. Yes,
I'll be posting another video today more stuff being redone.

(19:13):
It's it's been a it's been a fun project. Though.
Let's get into your food fails. I know Gandhi's was
fried chicken. What happened to your fried chicken. Well, I mean,
what was so bad about it? I would like to
go back and revisit where I went wrong. But somehow
the fried just never happened. It was like goop on
the outside. It was chicken. It didn't egg. It didn't

(19:34):
adhere to the chicken. Yeah, that happens. You have to
make sure your chicken is very, very very dry, and
then you have to dip it in flour, and then
you put it in your egg and then in your
crunchy stuff. But but if you if your chicken is moist,
it's not. It's not gonna stick. Everything's gonna bill. That's
probably where I went wrong because as I was pulling

(19:54):
it out of my little batter concoction, I was like,
this looks gross. Throw it in the pan. Good plan.
I like that. The last thing you said before putting
it in the pan was this looks gross. I don't
know if that's so. As I was saying, if you
see my corn fritters, they look beautiful. They're on my
my Instagram. But it was popping kernels of corn with

(20:16):
hot oil. Keep in mind, when they popped, there's hot
oil coming at you two and it was pelting my face,
and so I was shooting pellets at my face, and
I ran out of the kitchen screaming. It was frightening,
tripped over the dogs. I mean, ever, it was just
this frightening moment. Food shouldn't be so dangerous. Food should
not fail. Welcome to food fail. You can call us

(20:39):
eight hundred two four two zero one hundred Texas Dave
online one. I don't know what kind of what kind
of food fail did you have, Dave. So I was
getting ready for a party, and I went and bought
some soda. But the party was going to be sooner
than it would get cold. So I put the bottle
of soda in the freezer to freeze, to get it
colder faster. Forgot the soda was in there, never needed it,

(21:05):
so went to bed, not even thinking about it. About
three o'clock in the morning, I hear what sounds like
a gunshot coming from my kitchen. I go in the kitchen.
It woke me up. I go in the kitchen. The
refrigerator door had slammed open because the bottle got so
swollen that the bottle cap came off. It shot all

(21:27):
it literally ricocheted all over the kitchen broke dishes. That
was soda dripping from the ceiling. It was wow. My
wife and I were like, are you kidding me? It
took us like three hours to clean the kitchen and
we had to buy a whole new dish. That food fails.
I love it. This is why you should always have
video rolling in every room of your house. Would you

(21:49):
love to see what that looked like? You heard it,
and that was it was dramatic enough, but yeah, wow,
stuff blowing up your freezer. I can't hear what. I'm sorry.
Just a side note. A couple of years ago, I'm
the guy who said birth handmade birthday cards to all
you guys that said who you shared birthdays with? Oh yeah,

(22:09):
my god, that was you? If you remember you? That
was so cool. Where did it go? Well? Thank you Dave,
Thank you Dave, and good luck. No more food fails allowed.
Have a great day. Yeah, you know what, it's frightening.
Come on, Danielle, I know that you've had some food. Yeah,
I had a dumpling one, so like you know how
you need flour and it's old. When you're making dumplings,

(22:32):
it's gooey and like you gotta mush them together. And
all that stuff. So I didn't cook the dumplings enough
and so when we went to eat them, they were
still gooey, and and it was not good. Hood who
was disgusting, you know, you know, it's a total family
when people start spitting their food back in the plate.
At table No Jody, line four, she had a wine fail.

(22:58):
We all fail. We could eat great at wine, great
at cooking, but we're all going to fail eventually. Yeah, Jody,
what happened good morning? So it wasn't it wasn't me cooking,
but I guess the wine continued to like ferment. It
went from I guess hot to cold. So we had
it on our counter and it was actually two gallons
of wine. And it was like three o'clock in the
morning and it exploded. And I actually woke my husband

(23:19):
up because I thought that somebody had been shot, that's
what it sounded like. And I walked into my kitchen
and it was red wine. There was glass shards in
my ceiling, there was red wine everywhere. It was all crap. Yeah, God,
you weren't in there, That's what I said. I mean,
it was it was unbelievable. I still it probably was

(23:43):
ten years ago, and it still shocks me every time
I talk about it. I see, even though not as
as a traumatic. Every once in a while, I'll look
at my ceiling in the kitchen and there's wine. There's
red wine on the ceiling. I'm like, how does that
get there? What am I doing? Something's happening when I'm
pulling those quarks out. I've lost my mind. All right, well,
look I'm you. You failed, but you lived. But that's

(24:03):
that's good. Thank you, Jody, Thank you for listening. Have
a good day. Brianna online five had an issue with measurements. Yeah,
you've got to watch your measurements. What did you do, Brianna? Um, So,
when my cousin and I we were making cookies for
the first time by ourselves, and we put a half
a cup of baking soda instead of a half a
teaspoon and our chocolate too, so you so we knew

(24:26):
you always have to try the do you know before
you cook them? So as soon as we tried it
after you're done, we knew we did something wrong and
we went to go have my mom try it, and
she knew exactly what we did. So we ended up
throwing out the batch and making a new one. Oh,
that's not too bad. At least no one was hurt.
You know, these other stories involved pain and violence pretty

(24:47):
much anyway. Yeah, you got to watch your measurements. My
friend Kim, you know, Kim Cook's one of our favorite
chefs of all time. She actually made dessert for us
one day at the at the restaurant, and rather than
using sugar, she used salt by accident. We're like, what
the and she's the best cook in the world. So
it's just everyone makes a mistake happen. It's totally fine,

(25:10):
all right, Branna, thanks for listening to us. I appreciate it.
Have a great day. I don't know. People are all
texting in about explosions, pressure cookers, toaster ovens. I don't know.
So this is why I'm just safe and don't cook.
I have a plan to keep us all in a

(25:30):
better place. So you gotta cook, though you've got You've
got to fail. That's how you learn, right. Scary. Yeah,
we had a we had a food fail at the
Scary Barbecue, the family barbecue on Sunday. My father was
trying to heat up rice balls. A rice ball is
a it's the size of a baseball and they're deep fried,
but they were cold. So he's like, I'm gonna trow
him on the barbecue with the sausage. Bad idea. All

(25:53):
of a sudden, the rice starts falling apart and melting,
drew the grill bars and then causing flames to shoot up.
And he's like, hey, row, this was a bad freaking idea.
And it fell apart and he was scraping it with
a spatulate. It was disgusting food. Yeah, you gotta you
gotta put those in the oven. Oh god, yeah, frog,

(26:17):
what's up? So you know I love to cook them
my big green egg. And so when I first got it,
everybody's like, oh, you can make pizza. Just get a
pizza stone. It's the easiest thing you've ever done. So
I tried to make a pizza the first time. The
grille was too hot. I forgot to put something between
the dough and the pizza stone. It just came out
of it looked like a looked like a giant black
hockey pocket, which just completely. The cheese was terrible. Every

(26:37):
it was awful. I mean a dog. It's true. You
you gotta learn the hard way. It's gotten better. I've
gotten better though, gandha, you have more food fails. Well,
I got a little drunk with power once I figured
out these air fryers that we all have. So a
sheugh friend of ours, her name is Elena Besser. She
told me that if I just spray a little bit
of cooking oil on top of things, it'll make them

(26:59):
really crispy that air fryer. But you have to be
careful how much of that spray you spray or else
you're starting little fires. And a lot of smoke comes
out of the air fryer when you open it. So
I've definitely burned some things as well. So that's a
fun thing that you have to be careful about. See.
But now you know, see you're still You're still not
gonna go cook anymore. You're done. Oh no, I'm gonna

(27:20):
keep doing it. Not my house that I burned it down, Sorry, Brandon,
look at that one. More Sherry is online eight and
then we'll roll into the Danielle Report. Hey Sherry, what's
going on? Oh? Way off? Someone mitch my ingredients up
in the canister, kelp frying chicken and it's the bar

(27:42):
kempt melting off And I finally figured it out a
few hours later when we started eating it was powdered sugar.
Oh my god, Oh that must have been awful. Oh
that it was No, oh sugar. If you start burning sugar,

(28:02):
you're making a big mess. All right, Sorry about that.
Sherry's all right, yeah, now you got to taste everything
before you put it in. Sherry. Is so good to
hear from you. I hope you have a great day
to day. Okay, okay, thank you very much. Yeah. People
are texting and my mom melted her slow cooker on

(28:23):
her stovetop. You can't turn the burners on. You can't
turn the burners on anyway. Let's get into Danielle. What's
going on Danielle? Well, this could be the best season
of Dancing with the Stars because I am hearing reports
that Carol Basking from Tiger King maybe get part of

(28:44):
the cast. Did I hear that right? You said Carol
Basking's gonna be on Friends. No, Carol Basket from Tiger
King might be on Dancing with the Stars. That is
Oh yes, that's one of the rumors going around, right.
Can you imagine she was on? AJ from the Backstreet
Boys might be joining the cast? As well. That's another rumor.

(29:06):
September second is when we find out the cast, and
then September fourteenth is when it all goes down. And
I told you it's all going to be different this year.
They have to quarantine even the people who are married
on the show. A lot of the professionals are married.
They have to quarantine separately. So it's gonna be interesting
to see what happens this season. On Dancer with the Stars,
Selena Gomez is getting into the ice cream business. You know,
she has a collaboration with Black Pink called ice Cream.

(29:28):
It comes out on Friday. So she is now a
new owner and partner with Serendipity and Serendipity three and
Serendipity has now put out a new flavor, Cookies and
Cream remix. It sounds absolutely delicious. It's a pink Vanill
ice cream crunchy cookie bites. It's got gooey fudge in it,
and that comes out Friday as well. So, Froggie, did

(29:48):
I steal your food news? No, you're good, You're good?
Okay good? Well, that comes out Friday as well. You
can order it online and of course you can get
it into stores and everything like that. Nicki Bella and
artem are not secretly married. I know, people flipped out
because Good Morning America was talking about them returning to television,
to returning to Dancing with the Stars, and they were

(30:12):
saying that they were married, basically saying, you know, husband
and wife, you know whatever, and people were like, they
got married. They weren't supposed to get married. They were
putting their their marriage on hold because of coronavirus. Blah
blah blah. They have not gotten married. It was a
slip up of Good Morning America. They haven't had the
wedding yet. All is okay, It has not happened yet.
Victoria Beckham is going to design the dress of horror

(30:34):
daughter in law. You know, Brooklyn is getting married very soon,
and so she will be could you imagine you're you're
marrying the son of David and Victoria Beckham And Victoria
Beckham is going to design your dress? I mean, I
can't even anyway. And Jennifer Lopez is going to be
giving us a skincare line and makeup and skincare line.

(30:55):
She's been posting a lot of selfies and she's been
hashtagging them j Loo Beauty coming soon. I know she
did a little trademark last December, so that is on
the way. Let's see tonight on television, You've got some
Love Island, America's got talent. CS to Key. I'm still
loving Dirty John on Netflix. I've got like two episodes
in season one left, and I'm looking at Doctor Foster.

(31:16):
I want to watch this next. If anybody has seen
Doctor Foster, let me know if it's good, because I'm
really curious to see if it's any good. What's that?
It's that doctor who suspects that her husband is having
an affair, and so she starts doing an investigation, but
then she gets obsessed with things that she's finding and
it looks like it's gonna be good. But I you know,
it's a lot of time to dedicate to these things.

(31:38):
And that's my Danielle report. All right, Well, someone broke
into our Z one hundred studios and stole the chocolate milk,
and so they're trying to figure out who did it.
You know, there's only like, yeah, food fails, there's only
like three employees, so it's pretty easy to figure out
who it could be, right, I mean, who I am?
I am determined. I'm like Perry Mason Elvis. I'm determined

(31:59):
to get to the bo him of this case because
if you do the simple math, I had two chocolate milks.
Scotti and Scary each had one, and there was two remaining.
There's something somebody came in. They were in Scottie's refrigerator.
So either Scottie or Scary took them, because I know
it was me, or somebody came in and absconded with
our chocolate milk. I'm knowing you would see. It seems

(32:22):
as if this this problem continues even with no one
in the building. This used to be the problem all
the time when we had thousands of people in the building.
Now you have three people in the building, and you
know what, I don't know, I don't know. We might
actually ask Jeff to look at the security camera footage.
I know people are doing this is trivial, but this
is serious. It's not trivial. No, no, no, I want
to find out who's stealing your stuff. Man. Absolutely. People.

(32:45):
By the way, Daniel, people are saying doctor Foster is great.
They're saying it's worth a watch. Okay, cool, what's what's
it about, doctor Foster? What is this about? It's about
a doctor who investigates her husband because she thinks he's
cheating on her, and then she gets a little obsessed
with it, like you know, you get obsessed with the
investigation and all the things that she's finding. So it
looks good, but I was like, you know, I need,

(33:07):
I need, I need something to watch. Hey, uh oh,
Now we're mad because you know they're saying that The
Boys is coming back for season two. I love it, Yeah,
but they're not. They're not doing it in Binge. For him,
it's like one episode every Friday. I'm like, no, I
hate when they do that. Aren't we done with that? Well,
that's how TV used to be. You're old enough to remember,

(33:29):
like you had to wait, I know, every week, but
you said it yourself, that's how TV used to be. Okay,
But I want to be able to So what you
have to do is you have to wait until the
end of the season. Then then you can bene. But
I'm not gonna do that that they did. They did
that with Perry Mason. They had a new episode every week. No,
that's horsecrap, Give me everything at once, don't wait? Am

(33:52):
I the only one? Or do you guys really like
having one episode per week to make it last longer.
I like the one episode per week to make it
last longer. To be honest, I miss that. You're probably
you're probably no, But I miss the yearning. I missed
the days of like I know, you know, now everybody
can binge watch Friends and they know what happened with
Ross and Rachel like that, Like I miss going, oh
my gosh, they're gonna kiss, Oh my gosh, what they

(34:13):
on a break? Like I miss like just waiting for it,
you know. Now it's like instant gratification. But you can
choose right, like they should release it and then you
can just watch one a week and then Elvis can
watch at one time. I know, but I can there.
I'm not gonna wait. I mean, well that well, that's
your problem. I mean you have no self control, that's true.

(34:34):
I don't. Hey, our Froggy, Uh, can we talk about
the elephant in the room here, Yeah, there's an issue here.
He's frightened to death right now, he's going to the
dentist today. Oh there's your dun, dun, dun. Serious food fails. No, really,
I mean you're not alone, Froggy. A lot of people,

(34:58):
a lot of people get very very AnGR axious when
it's dentist today, it's gonna be okay, I don't. I
don't like it. I had, as you know, I had
reconstructive jaw surgery. It's been nine years ago now, and
so my mouth is very sensitive. There's a lot of
screws and plates, and I have no feeling in certain
places and other places are numb, and so I just
I can't. Going to the dentist is the worst part

(35:20):
of my entire life. I've put it off three times
due to COVID, but I know I need to go,
and putting it off is the wrong thing to do.
So I'm gonna go today. But I do know it. Now,
are you gonna tell your dentists that you are very nervous?
And I won't have to tell them. They'll know when
I walk in the door. They'll know when I sign
my name on the sheet, when they see the handwriting

(35:43):
that looks like somebody whose hand was like shaking, like
the paper was moving. They're gonna know because I get terrified.
I hate it. I hate it, and it's just a
simple X rays un a cleaning, but it is the
most stressful thing in the world. To me, and I'm
not eating. I'm sick to my stomach. It makes me
so nervous. I don't like it. So you can hear it,
can you guys hear it? Well? What time is your appointment?

(36:06):
One thirty? Okay, so I want to call me thirty.
That would make more sense. I want you to. I
want you to call me as soon as you're done
and let me know how you did. Okay, Okay, I
promise I will. All Right, all right, we gotta take
a break. Far you need a hug. All right, let's
take a break. We're back after more for the Mercedes

(36:27):
MG Interview Lounge. Katie Perry in the Zoom Room. Oh
my god. Okay, my dream was before I started this call,
a zoom link from all of my neighbors coming together
like the freaking Brady by point, Katie, wake up is
waiting for you? Do you suffer from leadfoot? Do goose

The Morning Show. You know, when I read stories about this,
it just reminds me, painfully reminds me about how boring
my sex life is. Okay, Okay, So Jerry Folwell Junior, right,

(37:37):
he of course son of Jerry Folwell who's very very
famous and being a very conservative preacher, right who a televangelist,
and say what you want about them and what they do.
You know, that's okay, I'm in nothing about that. But
Jerry Folwell Jr. Headed up this very very conservative Christian

(38:00):
in college, right Gandhi, yes, Jerry? So which one are
you wanting to know more about right now? Because this
whole thing is just super fascinating. Apparently the Fallwells met
this twenty year old when he was a pool attendant
at a place that we all know. I don't have
to say, the Fountain Blue Yep. Okay, they say they

(38:20):
met him when he was twenty years old back in
twenty twelve, and this relationship went on for seven years
with Jerry Fallwell Junior enjoying watching some things from a
corner of a room. Okay, So I'm not going to
talk about what some people will find, as you know,
very unusual to this guy's running a college. It's extremely
conservative and you're not allowed to have sex on campus,

(38:42):
and it teaches ideals like they're against homosexuality and I'm
not even gonna get into that part. But they're into
this cuk holding thing. Am I saying it correctly? Cuck holding? Yeah? Yeah,
right now, where the cuk hold is the Okay? So
he was the cook Hold, right, It's just a weird name.
It's just it's hard to say it's anyway. He would

(39:02):
sit in the allegedly would sit in the corner of
the room and watch the pool attendant and his wife
go at it. Right. This is my point, this is
what I'm missing in my life. How come I can't
be I can't I can't be a part of a
cuke holding whatever relationship with Jerry Folwell Jr. You know,

(39:24):
if you're gonna deal with anyone, that would be the one.
So we're having this conversation about how on I guess
porn hub or whatever, there's an entire category dedicated to
husbands who like to sit in the corner and watch
their their significant other go at it with someone else,
a third party. Totally. Oh yes, a lot about it. Well,

(39:46):
to clarify, there is the willing and then the non
willing cuckhole. So the non willing is usually, as Scary
described it off the air, the guy duct taped to
a chair forced to watch his wife. All the videos
are the same, and I know it's role play. I
just heard about it yet listen, but wait, hold on,

(40:11):
time out. Let's be very clear, I'm never ever going
to glamorize anyone being forced to do anything at all that.
This is not what this is about. This is so
you're saying, the husband says, Okay, here's what we're gonna do.
You're gonna duct take me to this chair and put
a gag in my mouth and I'm to be forced
to sit there and watch you have sexual relations with

(40:33):
this poolboy. This is all role play. And then there's
the willing cup hold that he basically sits in the
corner smoking a cigarette, watching his wife, do whatever the
guy and enjoy the case. In this situation right right,
it was no dark. I was setting up the scene
where it's he's in the corner, but it's dark and
you can't see him, but everyone's while. You'll see the

(40:54):
glow of the cigarette tip as he takes a hit
off a cigarette. Yeah, such a pool and becky anyway,
so uh you know, so, I look, there's all these
allegations of he's being set up and you know whatever,
and I'm really trying to pull out of that part
of the story and just go into the fact that
this it's making big news. Yea. And there's actually a

(41:16):
picture of him with another like a woman in their
pants are on zipp Did you see this? What is that? Who?
Who is that? So? Yeah, and then this guy that
is saying that he had this relationship with them, he
has texts, he has emails, and then it says he
has quote other evidence. So I'm very interested to see

(41:39):
what that other evidence could be. I imagine photos and video.
That can't be great. Yeah all right, Look, I'm not
saying I have a clean past, not at all. It's
just this this word cuckold. I'm just fascinated with the word.
I'm fascinated by all of the people who sit there
and preach because I could not care what you do

(41:59):
in your bedroom. Go ahead and have your fun whatever.
If you like to get cuckolded, go ahead. But when
you sit there and you literally are preaching at other
people that all of this is so wrong and it's
so foul and you're going to hell and you're doing it,
that's when it becomes more of a story. Yeah, I
just when the hypocrisy kicks in you if you're doing
it yourself, then what the hell are you doing, like,

(42:22):
you know, yelling at other people? Just say nothing. You
can say nothing and it's fine. Yeah. Our point is
we don't care if you do it. I'm not I'm
not putting you down if you do it, but don't
put others down if you're doing it, acting like that
they're doing something so terrible. But yeah, when your door
closes you're doing it, is that you guilty about it,
and so you feel like if you take out your

(42:43):
guilt on other people and like yell at them for it,
you won't feel as guilty. I don't know, I don't
I don't know. And then there's My third component is
I just want to do it. What kind of life
is there? You can't I'm kidding, I don't I know what,
I know what I don't this is it's a weird conversation. Uh.

(43:04):
Do we really want to go to some phone calls
like that? Sounds like an interesting phone call? Yes for it. Uh,
I'm having inner turmoil and going down this road. Okay,
so one of you is sitting in the corner, not

(43:25):
so into it. We should we take this call or not? Podcast? Oh? Okay,
Uh okay, let's go to line twenty four. Talk to Nicole. Hello, Hello, Nicole, Hello, Hello. So,
if it's a male, it's a cuckold. If if it's

(43:46):
a female, it's pronounced cool, queen co queen cocaine. What
is it? What's it call? Um? I still consider it cockolding,
even though I'm the person watching. Okay, so you're cooking.
You can just call it cooking anyway. So, uh, you
like to sit in the corner and watch your husband

(44:08):
sleep with your friends? Correct? Um? I poked him up
with a few of my friends now, um, and he'll
either go at it with them by himself, or I
have a male friend that joins in and they'll have
threesomes with my friends and I'll either just sit back
and watch or video pay Now, are you an evangelist curiosity?

(44:34):
I mean no, you're not. I'm look you know, please
understand that we're not. We're not here to judge anyone
on what you're doing behind closed doors, not at all
or on video. We just we just find this an
interesting story, and I feel like I'm being left out.
So we have all these different things. But anyway, so
I mean, is this is this a regular occurrence with

(44:56):
your husband and other people? Um? I mean it's like
a handful of times a year okay, wow, like special occasions. No,
just whenever we're feeling like it. Okay, how do you
find the people? Do you just like go out and
you talk to them? Is it an app that you're like, hey,
we're looking for this. How do you find them? No,

(45:19):
I've only let him sleep with my friends, like I
have to know them personally on a friendship level. Okay, Okay,
so it would be like me saying, hey, from I
would like Lisa to come over and sleep with Sheldon
and then I'll watch So we would be like that, right,
you don't, I'll buy a ticket right now. Something tells
me you have to smoke cigarettes in order to watch it. Okay, well,

(45:43):
I don't see it in my home. I don't talk
in my home, so I don't smoke their rings, but
I do smoke like outside of the house. You do
it in the backyard. All right. Well, look, thank you
for sharing, Nicole. I appreciate it. Have a great day. Okay,
thanks for listening to us, you two. So back to
this Liberty University. They have a forty six page code

(46:04):
of conduct that Brody sent over. It's called the Liberty
Way that outlines punishments and monetary fines, monetary fines for
specific behaviors. Five of the rules are no sex, kissing
or extended hugging. Some students are actually saying their first
saving their first kiss for their wedding night. That's great. Good.
Also on this campus where he is I think still

(46:26):
in charge, he resigned and he says he took it
back or something, no cursing. Students say things like darn,
friggin and crap. Those are okay to say, right maybe,
No R rated movies, no demonstrations, no dancing again, it's
like fun but more hardcore. It is. It is anyway,

(46:50):
So there you go. I thought we would go down
this road and talk about this interesting story again. You know,
he reads stories about fascinating stories like this. You're like, wow,
where did where did my life go? Where I've been
and I'm so boring? Yeah, Scary Scary, by the way,
is so intrigued by this, You're fascinated by it. I
will say this though, that I just learned on text
from several people that a cock is a person who

(47:12):
enjoys humiliation. So they're saying, it's just all it is
is is wife and husband sharing. But the cock is
the person who enjoys the humiliation of it. All right,
on these I know, but some of these people aren't humiliated.
There's really enjoying it, all right, Okay, I love how
Scary is like I've just learned from text messages, not
from my extensive watching. But yeah, in other words, asking

(47:35):
for a friend? Yeah all right, well there you have
that interesting? All right? Are we doing the ten dollars
free money phone tap coming up? I mean I've already
I've already prepaid for the week, right, all right, I've
already paid for it ten dollars in the free money
phone tap coming up. All right, I'm glad we got
all get together and talk about cook holding. Let's get
into the three things we need to know. There are

(47:57):
a lot of serious things going on in this crazy
world of ours. We'll start with wherever you want to start.
Go ahead, God, let's start with coronavirus numbers. They continue
to grow in the US. Johns Hopkins University reported this
morning that total cases are now more than five point
seven million, which is nearly twenty five percent of cases worldwide.
The death toll in this country now more than one
hundred and seventy seven thousand. California has had more cases

(48:20):
than any other state. New York has had the highest
death rate of all the states. Protesters are still hitting
the streets today in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after the police shooting
of Jacob Blake. He was shot multiple times in the
back at close range on Sunday when police responded to
a domestic disturbance. So far, cars have been set on fire,
Crowds are gathering in violation of curfew orders. People are

(48:40):
throwing things up police officers. It is really unsettled in
that area. Blake is in stable condition in the ICU.
The officers are currently on administrative leave, and none of
them were said to be wearing bodycams at the time.
And finally, a Japanese architect is doing something he thinks
people will really like, and that is creating transparent public toilets.

(49:00):
How do you guys feel about that? Wait? What do
you mean? What do you mean like the entire stall
is transparent, because he says, people want to know two
things before they enter. Is it occupied and is it clean?
So if it's transparent, you'll be able to see both
of those things without ever having to touch a door.
He says it is art because as soon as you
walk in, it fogs up and the door locks. I'm

(49:22):
not sure how I'd feel about that. But it also
looks like a lantern at night. So there are going
to be parks all over Japan now opening up with
these transparent stalls. Hopefully that fog affects stays working the
whole time. And those are your three things I know, right?
Thank you, Gandhi. All right, we'll be back after this.
That's something to tell us, text us, and we might

(49:43):
put you on the air. Hey, Danielle, this text or
mayonnaise is nasty, should never be made again. Thank you.
Standard Dina and messaging rates may imply this is Elvis
Duran in the Morning show. You got any money to
free money on tests? Yeah, we got money, not a lot,
but we got money. So you know, usually we have
the best partners in the world that are in here

(50:05):
helping us come up with all this great money to
give you join the free money phone tap. One thousand
dollars here, thousand dollars there, that's great. This week we
don't have it, and that's okay, So we're ponying up ourselves.
I said a Venmo to uh straighten eate. I sent
him one hundred dollars to pay for the last time
we did the ten dollar phone tap and this week's
ten dollar phone tap. So today we're giving away another

(50:27):
ten dollars. That's all it is now. Scotty B is
in charge of mailing. Do you mail actual cash to people? Yeah? Yeah,
I think Scotty's been FedExing it, haven't you, Scottie? Oh
my god. The wait, the FedEx cost more than the prize. Well,
we need to make sure it gets there. He puts
it in a book, one of your books, because we've

(50:48):
got like eight thousand of them. Wait, wait, wait, you're
you're giving away my books. Yeah, we've been really trying
to clean the you know a lot of the stuff
out here, and you know, you just have stacks of
these books just sit direct. Well, here's the thing. I
send it FedEx ground, which is much cheaper than express.
So I need something else to put in the envelope.

(51:08):
So I throw a book. Inas just given my books away.
No one's gonna read this crap. Let's just send it
to these people. It'll be an envelope for the ten
dollar bill. There's one of what you're saying. It's an
anchor for the ten dollar bill. That's there's no purpose
other than we needed someplace to put them ten dollar bill. Yes,

(51:29):
here's a book. Well, I feel like a smaller package
would get lost, so I want a bigger package to ship. Okay, Okay,
I'm gonna be okay. So it's the ten dollar free
money phone tap, be caller one hundred, now you and
ten dollars and that crappy book, which by the way,
was a New York Times best seller. Mind you for
a minute, all right, be caller one hundred to win
it now one eight hundred two four two zero one

(51:52):
hundred all right, who does the phone tap? Today's Gary.
It's a tag team between me and David Brody. Here
we go, Elvis, Elvis durand the Elvis durand phone tap.
All right, let's get it on. Let's beg a gong.
Who's with me? It's now time for the Brooklyn Boys
Scary and Brody or Brody and Scary now giving you

(52:16):
their Brooklyn Boys tag team phone tap. Let's do it, Elvis.
Our listener Bab wanted us to phone tap her husband Alan, Alan,
like many people hate telemarketers, spend most of his days
home watching cable news and hanging up on telemarketers. So
I call him as a well as someone who sounds
a lot like me and scary calls him as mister

(52:37):
Michael Oppenheimer, the telemarketer. All right, we could possibly go
wrong here. Let's listen in to the Brooklyn Boys Tag
team boat hellow, good afternoon. This is mister Michael Oppenheimer
with tropical strength whack Off insect repellent. How are you
doing today, sir? I'm fine? What? What? What? Tropical? What?

(52:57):
This is the stuff used by the armed forces? Can
he interest you in wag Off insect repellent? Today. No,
I don't have any insects story about I just step
on him. Okay, pal, have you ever tried to suck
a tick from your skin? What? Boy? Is this? They
bore themselves in there? Real good? What is this? What
is this? Can they get your credit card? Sir? Hello?

(53:19):
My name is a officer. Hey, how are you today?
I'm tiny Listen, I'm sorry to bother you started. I'm
in h to alert you. But we have a man
who is representing himself as a telemarketer who's looking to
establish a credit card information from you. And then he
from a telemarketer Okay, yes, ok okay, great, great, great,
no cinema. Sorry. He's raising money for an organization called

(53:40):
h O a X Hate of Americans across the world. Okay,
so it's important that this organization doesn't get the money
needed by using credit cards of heartbreaking credit card number? Sure,
I just give him a phony number. No no, no, no,
do not give the number. Then he'll hang up. We're
trying to trace the call. If he calls back, please
keep him on the phone. Whatever he says, is this
something we count on fee? Okay? All right, all right,

(54:02):
very good sir, Good luck to you. You're good America.
Thank you. Hello. Con So, this is mister Michael Hoppenheimer
with whack off insect repellant. How are you doing today, sir, good,
I'm doing pretty good. You live in the country, correct, Oh, yeah, yes,
I was here. Yeah, get back out there with whack
off insect repellant. It's the right protection to keep your

(54:22):
outdoor fun uninterrupted from mosquitoes, ticks, and other piskey insects. Well,
how does it work? Oh, I'm glad you asked? Gently.
Jerked the cap off the can, squirt the gael into
your hand, and rub it all over your arms and legs.
Will you actually apply it to your body? Careful not
to get whack off on your face, though, or it'll burn. Okay,

(54:42):
I thought it was something you put on the floor. Hello. Yes,
hold on, my boss is paging meat to you. Sir.
I'm sorry you have to go. Hello. What the was
that I asked you to the phone? Calm down, man,
I've kept asking him questions. He's all of the times

(55:03):
when I asked you one thing, I said, talk to
the guys. Are you listening again on the car? The
guy's trying to raise money? Faint show. I X. You know,
I know, I know, I watched the news. I know
what goes. All right, Well, jeez, figure out what you're
gonna say. All right, fine, Hello, this is mister Michael
Oppenheimer again with whack off insect repellant. Sir, mister Roper,

(55:25):
I'm glad you called back. I had some questions for you.
Can I have your credit card? Please? Let me ask
you a question. What if I wanted to get like
a case of it to give out his gifts? Can
I get a better discount if I buy more? Yes?
You can. Do you have grandkids? Yes? I do, and
I don't want them to be, you know, get getting
day in fever or whatever from these freaking mosquitos here

(55:48):
Exactly before you allow them to play in the woods,
you need to whack off your grandchildren or they like
him to get big. Hey, Mike, can you help me
move this box really heavy? Can you take a minute? Okay,
excuse me questions. I want to make sure I understand this.
Are you saying that I put it? No, don't go anywhere.
I have to ask you some question. Hello. I've been

(56:11):
working with any surf for fourteen years, and I've never
had anybody as incompetent issue. You know what I listen, Pal,
you're starting to piss me off. I did everything you asked.
I'm asking him questions. He's telling me to whack off
my grandchildren. Oh, she're telling me that's the best you
could do. I'm telling you. You need me to keep
me on the phone for forty seconds. And I did

(56:32):
everything I can two times. First of all, he's selling
a product called whack off? Is this guy for real?
Who comes up with this? What are you okay? He's
doing for real? That's the point that was he was
white in front of me. I had just beat his
head into the ground and split open Alan. This is
David Brody and Scary Jones and Elvis Rand in the

(56:53):
Morning show. You good phone tapped? Oh my god, I
need this agitation. Oh my god, that phone tap gave
me heart bird. That was crazy. Anyway, Thank you, Scary,
Thank you Brodie? Or thank you Brodie, Thank you Scary
you figure it out? Hey, okay, thank you. Let's go

(57:15):
talk to Tracy line ten. Tracy. Hi, Oh my god,
I've got a copy of my book with a ten
dollar book mark inside. I think I'm more excited than
that than a thousand dollars. I think, oh, that's that's insane.
Let's get away. But I am really excited to get
your book out of this. Oh my gosh, oh thank you.

(57:37):
It's a great read. I may go read it myself eventually. Well, look,
I enjoy the book, enjoy the ten dollars. I wish
it could be more cash, but you know, we're low
on funds this week. But I hope you have a
great day. What are you doing today, Tracy? What's your day? All?
I actually got to work early. I'm in the parking lot.
I'm I'm just waiting to go into work, and I
kind of I can't even believe it. I'm in shock

(57:58):
right now. Well, we are too, for many reasons. Well, look,
thank you for listening, Tracy. Have the best day ever,
and enjoy your book, enjoy your Hamilton, your ten dollar
builders on the way. Hold on one second, all right,
we still have let's see, ninety dollars in the budget.
Don't wait, no, no, we have thirty dollars left in
the budget. Thirty dollars left in the budget. We'll spread
it out evenly over the next three days with our

(58:20):
free Monday phone taps, and we'll put it in a book,
because the books are crap. That's what I'm getting. Let's
get into Danielle's report. Danielle, what do you got going
on this hour? All right? So Duliba had a twenty
fifth birthday party and she posted a bunch of pictures
and her boyfriend was there, and there was a food
truck and there was four birthday cakes, and there was

(58:40):
a lot of people and didn't seem to be some
social distancing going on, and there were no masks, and
of course you get called out on it. If you're
gonna post the pictures, you gotta get called out on it.
It's just gonna happen. And of course fans were like,
what are you doing? Don't you know we're supposed to
be social distancing. So people were complaining about it, Prince

(59:00):
Henry and Meghan Marko, you know the books out there
Finding Freedoms. It is an Amazon bestseller. So Amazon noticed that.
Right when the book came out the day of the release,
there were these weird reviews that popped up saying it
was a puff piece, it was nonsense, it was fan fiction,
and it was weird, like and they were like, hmm,

(59:21):
the book just came out. These are weird review like
who is reviewing the book? So they're making sure now
it's just verified purchases that are getting to review the book.
Because you never know what goes on, since you know
they were royalty, you never know what shenanigans go on
behind the scenes. People trying to keep people from buying
that thing. You know, that wouldn't make me want the book.

(59:43):
More puff piece nonsense, I just want more Cardie name
Meghan the Stallion. I'll whop number one once again, second
week in a row Billboard's Hot one hundred chart. Congratulations there.
It was so funny yesterday because my fifteen year old
and I having a conversation about the song and the
video and everything, and I was just like, oh my gosh,
I can't believe we're even talking about this, but we were.

(01:00:04):
The twenty twenty iHeart Radio Awards have been officially canceled.
You know that they were supposed to have in March
twenty ninth. They got postponed due to everything with COVID,
and we were going to have them and they decided
that at this point we just can't do it. So
the winners will be announced the Labor Day weekend, So
get ready for that because we're gonna give you all
the details. The CW was developing a Powerpuff Girl cartoon.

(01:00:28):
I know we had one a couple of years back,
but we're going to get another one. Also, Penny Dreadful
has been canceled again, unfortunately. If you're a Penny Dreadful fan,
maybe it will pop up someplace else. This is the
best story ever. If it happens Tiger King's Carol Baskin
possibly coming to Dancing with the Stars, Oh my gosh,
oh awesome. And you know she's gonna wear like Tiger

(01:00:50):
apparel the entire time. Her whole wardrobe has like tigers.
Oh no, it's crazy. Anyways, people need to be in jail.
Although hearing that um Aj from the Backstreet Boys has
joined the cast, but we will find out officially on
September second, and then September fourteenth is when it's all
supposed to start on ABC. Tonight on television, You Do

(01:01:11):
have Love Island America's Got Talent CS t Key Dirty
John on Netflix. I'm loving it and people are saying
that Doctor Foster is definitely something we should be watching.
And that's my Danielle report. Thank you, Danielle, We'll be
back after this. What's happened? Demi Lavand Okay, this is
Alicia Keys, It's Camila Cabell Elvis Durran in the Morning Show.

(01:01:35):
Audible audiobooks are just what summer order. The latest bestsellers,

you got a circle. That's why I have to say

(01:02:02):
I listen to you guys every morning. I'm loving it.
Here a stupid guy's name and Elvis Elvis story in
the Morning Show. Hey, I've got a question for you
judgment free zone. But I'm just curious, are you still

(01:02:23):
having one night stands? Are these? Are these still going on?
So you know, I remember when the pandemic first hit
and we had someone call up and he said that
he snuck next door and had sex with his neighbor.
Oh yeah, oh yeah, And everyone went off, how dare
you get close to someone like that without masks on?
And don't you know there's a pandemic? And then I

(01:02:44):
think we all figured out you can smartly do things
now without without infecting anyone. So our one night stands
still a thing for many people, and if they are,
are you totally closeted because you don't want anyone to
judge you, because not because if it's a one night stand,
but because you're physically with someone else that could get
you sick. It's just weird. The world is so different now,

(01:03:04):
you know. Yeah, I don't know one night stands, Danielle.
One night stands, you know, I gave that up a
long time ago. Things, Okay, I just wonder, well, I
guess no one here is doing that because we're all
except I don't know, we're all coming. Your friend though,
who is currently dating, And she said, it's really really

(01:03:25):
hard right now to even just meet up with people
because everybody's on a different page about what you're gonna
do after that meet up and how close people are
going to get. Like she said, one of the guys
wanted to make out with her at the end of
the night, and she was like, sir, I have no
idea who you've been breathing around. And she's like, this
is just a completely different thing than all the other
stuff I was already worried about. Now I have to
worry about your air particles too, So people are actually

(01:03:48):
you're actually risking their health to have one night stands
with someone. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just curious. As
I said, Judge judgment free zone. I'm not here to
bust anyone for anything, but I'm just just wondering. Even
put up in there a little like before you swipe, Hey,
make sure that you're being careful and taking extra precaution
during these unprecedented times. Well that's nice, Yeah, yes, scary? Yeah, No,

(01:04:12):
I think I think a lot of people are doing things,
but they're they're not admitting to it, And that goes
beyond just what we're talking about now. I think people
are just afraid of being judged. I know people that
went out of town for vacation and didn't tell a soul. Yeah,
and the back. You know, there's an article in the
New York Times about that vacation shaming. You don't want

(01:04:34):
anyone to know that you're out there moving around and
having a good time, enjoying your life. Yeah, because a
lot of people can't, and a lot of people think
you shouldn't, and a lot of states say don't you.
You're gonna have to quarantine. I mean, there's a lot
of stuff going on, even even Ali Gold, who you know,
we love our Alley, she works here on the show
We Love I Miss Ali, don't she miss Allie? She

(01:04:55):
said she won't even kiss on the first date now,
so that's all kind of changed. I don't blame I
was thinking about that the other day. I was thinking
about people dating now when I was watching television and
everybody making out on one of those reality shows, and
I'm like, how does that work? Now? Like how do
you choose who you're going to trust to swap spit with?
Like honestly, like you know what I mean, really COVID

(01:05:16):
tests exactly, Like you need like pocket COVID tests that
you have to have with you. They're gonna have to
go COVID tests. What else am I reading about dating?
Half of the singles in this research project, half of
them said they don't want a relationship. They don't even
want to date. Wow, they just want it to be

(01:05:37):
living their lives the way they're living it. And they're
totally fine. The only problem, The only challenge for them
is their friends and family members who are trying to
push them into dating and push them into relationships. They
don't want it. It's really funny how you think that
you're in a great relationship with someone. Oh, everyone should
experience this, and if you're not experiencing this, then you're
losing out in life. Well, no, you're not. They're not.
They're fine. Yeah. For a long time before I moved

(01:06:01):
to New York, and then as soon as I moved here,
I started dating somebody. But all of my friends tried
to have interventions with me, telling me why they thought
I would just be happier if I was dating somebody.
I think you just need another person in your life.
I was like, what the hell? You all seem miserable.
I am loving it. I can travel, and I will

(01:06:23):
never have that conversation with my single friends. I think
if you're happy being single, that's awesome. Good for you.
It's it's interesting. And I say this line at least
once a week on this show. Our relationships with everything
and everyone has changed since the pandemic hit everyone. The
things that we used to tell people, we don't tell
them anymore. You know, the things we used to admit

(01:06:43):
to we don't admit anymore. Because you just know that
you're in this weird zone. That didn't used to exist,
where you can be judged and they can become unhinged
and just go off on your right frog totally and
I miss travel obviously, But the thing I missed them
post is human interaction. I see people that I haven't
seen in a while, and I want to hug them

(01:07:04):
so bad, and it's your instinct because we are I'm
one of those. I'm a hug person. And it's like,
for example, when I when I saw Gandhi and Hilton Head,
I wanted to hug Gandhi, but we couldn't. If I
saw Danielle right, I saw you Elvis are Scary or
Nate or Scottie. I mean, I'd be willing to risk
it just because I miss you. Guys, we haven't seen
each other and we are very huggy people. Human interaction

(01:07:26):
is so important and maybe that's something we've learned from this,
is how truly important being around other people that you
love is. Well, you know, it was always something that
we believed in before the pandemic is you know, loneliness
is a major issue in America where you know a
lot of people are becoming sad and even further depressed

(01:07:48):
because they're lonely, They don't have quality connections in their lives,
and this has just sort of thrown all that out
the window. This is even what I mean, it more challenging.
I don't want to make out with you, Elvis, but
I'd like to hug you. You know, I'm I want
a full throttle make out. Fistump isn't gonna cut it exactly. Hey,
whyn't you come over tonight? Let's netflix and fist bump.

(01:08:11):
No Michelle on my twenty four she's dating. Let's let's
see how it's going for her. High Michelle. Hi, Hi,
So how is it out in the bumble? Are you
using bumble? I am in the world, Ye, in the
bumble world. Um. Let me first say that I am

(01:08:33):
new to dating. I just recently got divorced, so this
is all new to me with online dating. And I
mean my experience is no one's wearing masks when you
meet up, no one's social distance saying I haven't had
anyone worried about where I've been, Well, how are you
worried about where they've been? Of course, but I guess

(01:08:56):
not enough to wear a mask. That's terrible. It. Yeah,
you know, here's the thing and I think that a
lot of people are afraid to admit it. But there
are times we do roll the dice. You know what
I'm saying. You do get a little closer to people
than maybe you should or whatever. And you know when
you're doing it, you know I'm taking I'm taking a

(01:09:18):
chance right now and it could be a bad chance.
You know it, you know it. SOI distancing, do you work,
are you at home? Like? Are you seeing people? Yeah,
there's just got to be you have to do it
as smartly as you can. You have to, you know,

(01:09:39):
and then sometimes you cross that line. It's oh boy,
you count throw Well. Okay, we'll stay that way and
just be cautious. Please, but listen, it's nice to know
you're out there meeting people. You know. I love that
you're meeting people. Just we want you to say thanks
for listening to us. Okay, Michelle, thank you, thank you.
Laura is dating in secret? It all right? How come

(01:10:02):
you're dating in secret? What? What's what's your reasoning? Um?
Just because you know, some people have different ideas of
what's okay right now and what's not. And I think
just going to dinner every once in a while, if
somebody isn't you know that out of the normal. These days,
it's starting to become a more regular thing. Restaurants are open,
and do you ever have anyone ask you so wait,

(01:10:28):
hold on side. You've been dating in secrets, so you're
not telling anyone at all that you're going on on dates.
Surely maybe a friend, yeah, a couple of friends, you know,
but it's like, okay, if I have two days one
weeks because I'm on the dating app, I don't want
people being like, oh, well, you are out seeing other people,
you know. It's just everything is kind of right. It is, yeah,

(01:10:48):
but you also know that maybe and I'm not again,
I'm not judging, but you also know there's a reason
why people are very, very afraid of that, because if
if you went it to someone said, oh my god,
I've been out on a couple of dates recently and
you're like within three feet of them, would you be
surprised if one of them said, why are you so
close to me? Yeah? So that's why I completely understand

(01:11:10):
that much. Is why you know, I take my own precautions.
Then I'm not seeing that many people in general. I
go to work, but there's not even that many people there,
So yeah, definitely have a tit gotcha? Are you still there? Hell? Yeah, Look,
the phone's kind of weird. Oh Lauri, listen, be safe.
We love you because you listen to us. We need listeners,

(01:11:31):
and thank you for listening to us. Okay, I had
the phone's messed up. I don't know. Something's going on.
A texture says. I hinted at leaving my apartment door
unlocked one night to my neighbor, and she took me
up on that offer. I woke up to her climbing
on top of me. Oh god again, my life is
my life is so boring? I think he's on the phone,

(01:11:53):
is it Cameron? Oh god, I'm so jealous. Hello Cameron? Really, so,
how did yea? So? Were you texting her on the
phone and you told her hey, by the way, but
door's unlocked tonight? I mean, how did that work? Well?
We met a year ago, just walking in and out
of the buildings together because she just moved in about
a year ago, and no one want to think that.

(01:12:15):
We're talking one evening and I came to that. I
was like, well, if you get a board night, i'll
do my door unlocked And I did not think of it,
not thinking anything, and I woke up around two thirty
to her there you go. I'd be like, what, Oh
my god, Oh it's you. Okay, Wow. It really did

(01:12:35):
surprise me at first, it really did. But then I
was like, all right, well I kind of walked into
this one. So well, let me ask you this. Do
you think she was surprised that you actually left your
door unlocked? I mean, there's a lot going on here.
We have to there's a lot of stuff to unpack here.
Hold on, she said she was. She said that she
stood outside of my door for fifteen minutes trying to
figure out if she should even try to hit the handle. Yeah. Wow,

(01:12:59):
well good for you. I mean, I don't know, camera wow,
that could get But I like Dicky with the neighbor though,
because now if it doesn't work out, you guys are
just right next to each other all time. I just
locked the door the door, so I will say. The
craziest part about the whole thing is the fact that
she had to sneak down because she still is with

(01:13:21):
her fiance. Oh yeah, well, a lot of x's are
still living with each other because they just can't figure
out how to maneuver away from each other. I got
it all right, Cameron, keep your door unlocked. I'm coming over.
Thank you so much. Take it easy, have a great day. There,

(01:13:41):
you have it. So in closing, you know, we are
we are tiptoeing around and in fear of being judged
by the decisions we make. You know, maybe really is though,
the best time to just actually get to know people
and talk to them and take your time and go slowly.
I think that could just be okay, and not shoving

(01:14:03):
your tongue down their throat. Yeah, exactly, So I mean
physical distance or leave your door unlocked. I'm gonna leave
my door unlocked, but you I don't eat in my room,
just come into the living room and yell from the
other room. No, you know what, I really think that
physical distancing. Even though we know that can keep the
particles from flying up our noses and killing us, it
also is a you're right, gandhi, A let's use this

(01:14:25):
to get to know each other in ways other than
you know, just like banging it out. Yeah, because you
might find out you don't like somebody immediately, and then
you don't have to waste the notch on your belt
or whatever. It is that you call it. You can
just say I'm moving on. I don't like you. There
you go. I like this text. I threw caution to
the wind for ice cream. I mean story. Yeah, let's

(01:14:48):
go around the room. Let's uh, let's let's poke deeper
into your mind. Froggy. We'll start with you. What's on
your mind today? Oh dude, I know we talked about
it earlier. I'm just so freaking nervous today I gotta
go to the dentist and get X rays and cleaning.
And it's not like my mouth was in terrible shape,
but I had some work done about nine years ago.
Am I very sensitive and have a lot of pain
in my mouth, and so today is just the worst. Man.

(01:15:09):
I am so stressing going to the dentist today here,
and it's the first time I've been to this dentist
as well, hanging there front if I got to go
hang in their way and everything, like, hey yo, I'm
a big whoosie bag, and I'm afraid of everything and
being a whoosy bag. That's not what it is. It's
about being It's showing your vulnerabilities and it's a strong thing.

(01:15:30):
It's a strength. You're good. You're good, Hey, Gandhi, what's up?
I did something I never thought would actually come to
fruition and it did so. A few years ago, I
was the best best the maid of honor and my
best friend's wedding, and the wedding dress is the bridesmaid
dress that we ordered actually got canceled and the entire
place got shut down like two weeks before her wedding,

(01:15:51):
so we never got our money back. It was this
huge hassle. So I hopped in on a class action
lawsuit against the company, and guess who's getting her money back?
Years later me, really awesome. Yeah, I thought it would
actually work out. So were you just sent one day?
You were sent a class action lawsuit letter? Do you

(01:16:11):
ever get those? Is this how this happened? No? So
I was so outraged by the way it happened because
the company never told us. I just showed up to
pick up my dress and all the doors were boarded up.
People were screaming outside. Brides didn't get their wedding dresses.
So I googled, like, what is my course of action?
What can I do? And I ended up finding months
later that people had filed this class action lawsuits so
I was like, great, I'm going to get in on

(01:16:31):
this too, and it ended up working out years later,
but I'm getting my money back. Yeah. Hey, so have
you ever received those letters? Oh? By the way, if
you were a customer of Sprint between April and in
August of the year nineteen ninety eight, you could be
due for a refund because of a class action lawsuit.
If you fill all this stuff out and tell us

(01:16:52):
all about where you live, we'll send you your check
for twelve cents. Great, pretty much. That's what happened with Danielle.
What's up with you? So? I made this. I made
this bolon a sauce the other night, right, and I
had a lot of the sauce left with the ground
beef and whatever. So I have a sandwich maker upstairs,
and all I can think about is after the show

(01:17:12):
is over, making a cow zone in the sandwich maker
using my bolon a sauce and for sauce. So the
fresh mozzarella in there with the bread and the boulonnaise sauce,
and it's, oh my, I cannot that sounds incredible. Today,
I'm coming over, We're we're gonna have a one night's
day and tonight. Yeah, come on over. Oh it's gonna
be yes scary. What's up with you? You know? I

(01:17:36):
was out to dinner the other night with the same
two people I always hang out with when we go
to dinner, and this woman starts walking by the restaurant
with her cell phone video out as she's walking slowly
videotaping us restaurant and the next restaurant. Right, it was
a Karen. And I'm sitting here and I'm thinking, like,
these poor restaurants, they're barely surviving, they're not even probably

(01:18:00):
breaking even. And here this woman is probably just for
no apparent reason, no one's breaking any laws. She's probably
gonna turn this video into the police. And well, no
one was any If no one was doing anything wrong,
there's no problem. She was just upset that there were
actually people eating on the street and they were sitting
there with no masks on at a table, which, by
the way, is within the bounds of the law, and

(01:18:21):
there is you know, you're supposed to be able to
sit down and eat without a mask. But she wasn't
having it. And I'm sitting here, do your do your voice, gandhi?
What was she saying? I'm going to video these people.
I'd going to record every single person here without a mask,
and I'm gonna turn it into the authorities. Karen Voice, seriously,

(01:18:43):
keep your video to yourself business. Yeah, they're They're always
creeping and crawling around. Hey, I love this text from
Erica four o seven off topic, but want to let
you know I love yesterday's fifteen Minute Morning Show podcast.
I laughed so hard. It was a fun one. Yesterday.
We played butt Hurt yesterday. It was great and a
lot of butts got hurt. Yeah. Yeah, there was a

(01:19:05):
lot of hurt, but a lot of talk about what
hurts here. But I know there's even actual literally but
hurt conversation. It was fun. Well, so, I don't know
a lot of people don't know that the fifteen Minute
Morning Show podcast is in the Zoom Room. You can
actually watch it every day. Just follow us at Elvis

(01:19:25):
Duran Show on Instagram and make sure you watch. We'll
have one on later this morning. All right, let's get
into the three things we need to know from Gandhi. Gandhi,
what is going on right now? Protesters are still hitting
the streets in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after the police shooting of
a black Man Jacob Blake, was shot multiple times in
the back at close range on Sunday when police responded
to a domestic disturbance. As the protests continue, cars have

(01:19:46):
been said on fire, crowds are gathering in violation of
curfew orders, and people have been throwing things at police officers.
Blake is currently in stable condition in the ICU and
the officers involved are on administrative leave. None were said
to be wearing camps at the time. Tropical Storm Laura
is now expected to become a hurricane today. She entered
the Gulf of Mexico last night and is expected to

(01:20:08):
make landfall as early as tomorrow. It could be a
category two or three by the time it reaches the
US coast. Hurricane watches have already been put in place
from Galveston, Texas to Morgan City, Louisiana, and the National
Hurricane Center says that Laura could bring roughly a foot
of rain to parts of the Gulf coast all the
way through Saturday. And finally, some good news for dads

(01:20:30):
and bad news for maybe anyone who has to look
at them. Somebody invented the cargo cap and yes, it's
exactly what you think it is. It's a baseball cap
with cargo short style pockets on the side. I can't
just see my dec and eat. Yes. So if you
want one, it's gonna cost you. For now, they're going
for one hundred and twenty bucks. But you know someone's
going to come up with a cheaper version. And I

(01:20:51):
know my dad's gonna get one. So cargo caps everybody,
they're coming. And those are your three things. Thank you, Gandhi.
We'll take a break. We'll get back after this. This
is Elvis Durand in the Morning Show. Hey, it's Froggy
a fall on the way. That means more Front Porch
hangouts for us and Lowe's has been our go to
place to get everything we need. We'll have some chili

(01:21:12):
night soon and our new fire pit column is the
perfect edition. Lows can help with your project ideas too.
Go to lows dot com and share your changes using
hashtag Low's goal. Let's be honest, how many people are
here to see Elvis Durrett, Elvie Sturan in the Morning Show.
This is gonna be a pretty incredible moment. We're about

(01:21:36):
to get into sound with Garrett, but first I want
to introduce you to Garrett's sister Ashley on line twenty four.
Good morning Ashley, Good morning everyone. How are you? We're
doing well? How are you? How are you feeling this morning?
I'm feeling good, feeling good. Just got unhooked from a
bunch of tubes and everything else from my daytime nurses,

(01:21:57):
So just hanging out in my hospital bed. Wait until
finally get up out of my bed. Well, I think
we owe everyone in an explanation, like what's going on?
Why is Garrett's sister Ashley in the hospital? Hey Garrett,
you want to take over? Yeah? Sure. So about a
year ago, we found out that my mom had kidney disease,

(01:22:18):
and the whole process of trying to find a donor
is pretty tedious in a sense, and at first, my
sister Ashley's like, you know what, without any question hesitation,
I'm going to donate my kidney to my mom. And
once COVID hit, things kind of slowed down a little
bit because, you know, everybody had to put their attention
to that to COVID, and we found out my sister

(01:22:42):
Ashley was pretty much a solid match, except for a
few little things here and there that didn't match up.
So if my mom were to get my sister's kidney,
she would be prone to infection. And what her doctor
told her straight to her faces, if we give you
your daughter's kidney, there's a good chance she'll die. So wow,
the doctor said, here's another option. You're you're Ashley. My

(01:23:02):
sister can donate a kidney to someone she matches with
out there, a total stranger, and in turn will find
a match for your mom. And that's what my sister
did yesterday. She started the first process where she donated
a kidney to a total stranger who who needed a
kidney desperately. And she did that and someone else is
walking around with her kidney right now. And that's where

(01:23:25):
we're at in the process. Wow. Okay, So Ashley, Uh,
let me ask you this psychologically, how is it after
they took an organ out of your body, an organ
that you were born with, you've been living with all
these years, and now it's out of your body? It
is that a thing? Do you actually think about that? Um?
In the beginning, Like when I first started the process,

(01:23:47):
I was thinking about that um, But since I donate yesterday,
I hadn't really thought about it. M I my whole
mindset of going in yesterday was like, stay calm, cool, collective,
because that's what all the surgeons told me. As long
as your muscle's arm tents, you'll have the easy of
the covering classes. Um. So that's what I did. Um.
So I haven't really debated on um, you know, not

(01:24:09):
having that extra kidney. Uh, but they said, hopefully within
the next two weeks, I'll be back to normal or
normal function as to what I'm going to be for
the you know, rest of my life. And I must
assume the relationship with your mother is it's taken. It's
taken to a whole new level. Right. Uh. The conversations
you've been having with your mom, I'm sure very private,

(01:24:30):
but I've been like, let let us know what what
is the dynamic like between you and your mom now
that this occurred. So my brother can attest to this,
I'm like my mom's mini me. Um, I look like her.
You know, my dad will tell you I act like her. Um.
My mom is like my rock. So just for my
brother and my sister as well. UM, I still live
at home, so I got to witness, um, you know,

(01:24:53):
taking her to dialysis three times a week. UM, and
her and my dad were so proud of me yesterday
and you know, gears to your eyes in thankful thankfulness
of you know what I did yesterday. Um So it
meant a lot to me, especially as my brother and
sister can attest you on the baby, so I'm like
the family's favorite to the two of them. Um So

(01:25:14):
it meant a lot. Definitely meant a lot to how
many siblings, How many siblings are and do you have
I've obviously Garrett, and then I have my middle sister Brittany,
and then I'm the baby right there you are and
now Mom's favorite. So so Garrett, I mean watching watching

(01:25:35):
your your sister and your mother go through this incredible miracle. Basically,
I mean, what does that do? Does it really change
the dynamics of a family and me to each other,
and especially this year of all years, where you know,
things just seem to be, you know, in a negative light,
Yesterday was you know a little bit of sunshine, a

(01:25:58):
little bit of hope and and knowing going forward we're
making the right steps for our family and to to
get better, to heal. It was kind of cool. Now
I have a question, Daniel. You had a question, Yeah,
if you if the person would like to meet you
that you donated the kidney too, to thank you for
saving their life. Would you be willing to meet them? Yeah.

(01:26:20):
So yesterday, even before my surgery, I was like, I
want to meet this girl, um from the transplant team.
All they could tell me is she was around your age,
so she's you know, late through late twenties, early thirties,
and you were like the needle in the hay stack
for her. She is not a single antibody towards you.
So that's that's rare for somebody. Um. So I said

(01:26:40):
it to the surgeons yesterday that it did today like
a little bit of a process. You have to, like
to sign a letter. She'd have to sign a letter
and then I'd have to agree to it. So unfortunately
I won't be able to meet her while I'm in
the hospital. Um, But hopefully down the road I'll be
able to com meet her and find out who she is. Wow. Wow,
I think one of the most moving videos I've seen lately.
I cried like a baby when I saw it. Was

(01:27:03):
the video of a father who lost his son, I believe,
and they transplanted his son's heart into another gentleman and
he got to put the stethoscope on and listen to
his son's heart beating in this other man's. If only
kidneys make noise, that would be a much more dramatic meeting. Yeah, yeah,

(01:27:26):
beating kidney. I know. Well it's a pleasure, a sheer pleasure, Ashley,
to talk to you. Did anyone have another question or
thought for Ashley? Okay, yes, Gandhi, So did you have
a ton of prep leading up to it? And like,
what's it going to be like post kidney? I know
that things are going to have to change, but like

(01:27:46):
what's the biggest change? So like prep leading up? Um,
there was just you know a lot of blood work
then had to be taken, and the EKG didn't like
any time you could dream of. I did it for
at first. I did it to match with my mom,
and then once we went down the route of me
donating to someone different, I had to do it for
the most part all again. Um, I did it test twice,

(01:28:07):
so every test you could dream of they did for you. Um.
As you know, my brother's diabetic and so is my mom,
so I had to do a glucose test to make
sure I wasn't going to get diabetes. And the whole
nine yards afterwards. For the donor, it's a lot easier.
So I wasn't paying yesterday where the recipient wasn't. She
was in the hospital at the same time as me,

(01:28:28):
halfway through my surgery. They gave her my kidney in
the next room next door. So for the recipient, um,
they're in the ICU for twenty four hours and they're
in the hospital for a week. I will hopefully be
discharged tomorrow. Wow, this takes me back to those crazy
old horror films where the evil scientists would put two
people side by in a room and put those metal

(01:28:51):
hats on them and like transfer their brain powers from
one to the other. But look at the miracle. I mean,
you're actually planning on after having a kidney removed from
your body. You're actually planning on work walking out of
there tomorrow or today or that soon tomorrow tomorrow. So
after I get up the phone with you guys, my

(01:29:12):
daytime nurse, my two daytime nurses, Amanda and an Tony
ever come in and they'll walk me around to get
me moving, get my leg circulation back in order, because
I've been in the bed for the last twenty four hours.
And then hopefully be able to walk out tomorrow. Wow. Yeah, yeah,
I'm just realizing though, how much of this you can

(01:29:33):
really use to your advantage, Like when in your family,
Like if there's ever a question between the three children,
you can always say, you know, Mom, I did give
up my kidney for you. Funny she said that. I
said that to my mom Saturday night, as I just remember,
like I'm giving up my kidney, and oh, here we go.

(01:29:57):
I mean, she's right. I can hear them always going
to be the favored one. You really, I can hear
your mom now, Yeah, you gotta hold that over me,
that old kidney thing. Okay, I would say, are split
when things are split down the road, you should get
fifty percent, and then Garrett and your other sisters should
get twenty five percent. You should definitely get the mark.
Is this really what you guys? You've turned this into

(01:30:18):
this in the will? Yeah, Ashley, Ashley, oh go go rest,
relax and speedy recovery to you and all the best
to God. Garrett. Actually, your mom now, she's she's next, right,
So this this is an ongoing story and we're gonna
we're gonna follow the whole They activated her yesterday once

(01:30:41):
they took my kidney, they had to take mine first
when they activated her. So hopefully in mid September she'll
get him out of the match and be right where
I am right now. Such a pleasure to speak with you. Actually,
go rest and thank you for spending time with us today.
An incredible story, of course, thank you. I love you. Okay,
take care? No, wow, great story, all right, Garrett, Yes,

(01:31:05):
unfortunately I gotta go. Guys, I thanks for having me.
What a wonderful story for your family, you know it
really is. Let's get into some sound what go ahead? What? No?
Super interesting because you tried to send something and with
COVID still a thing, they're not accepting gifts at the hospital,
so you can't send anything. It just gets turned away.

(01:31:27):
So so we're like, what do we do? So we
send everything home, But trying to find a kidney gift
on Amazon is is very interesting. Coulmark surely has a
congratulations on your kidney extraction. I know, all right, all right,
all right, here we go. Sound. What do you have going?
Last night? David Spade he filled in for Jimmy Kimmel

(01:31:47):
because Jimmy Kimel is still on summer vacation for his
late night show, and David Spade's that friend that ruins
all the inside jokes like he was talking about the
Matt Damon Jimmy Kimmel feud. By the way, before we
go any further, just you know, Matt Damon is not
waiting around to be on Jimmy's show every night. Never was.
He's not getting bumped because they ran out of time
and Jimmy are good friends. There was no feud whatsoever.

(01:32:09):
It's all made up great. What else can I burn
to the ground on the show? Ruin at all? And
by the way, David Spade lost his late night show
a few months ago, So now this is kind of interesting.
With school starting up again a lot doing virtual learning,
a teacher overheard one of his students talking bad about him,
talking about things you should do when you're on camera.

(01:32:30):
I'm on a zoom call and the teacher is like,
turn your camera on, just mute your mic. Just don't
be in bed or in the bathroom or like in
your kitchen. Where else am I supposed to go? I
don't got like eighteen bedrooms. Okay, easy, now you can
be in your kitchen. I didn't say anything about not
being in the kitchen. I just said, you need to
be in an appropriate place, giving some examples. God, I

(01:32:55):
thought it would be in your bedroom. I just mean,
don't be in bed under the blanket. Busted, Katie hit mute. Okay.
So a couple of Massachusetts they got married outside and
lightning struck when the groom was doing his vows talking

(01:33:16):
about how twenty twenty has been. So you're gonna hear
from the groom first, then the lightning, and then the bride.
I don't know what to make of lightning striking a
quarter mile away during our wedding vows. I take it
as a good sign that we didn't get electrocuted. Let's face,
twenty twenty has not been the best year. Mother Nature

(01:33:37):
did not like that. Yeah, good luck, all right. So
everybody in the world has heard bts from that got
released on Friday. The song Dynamite sounds like this love it.
So since everybody has heard it, they decided let's put
out a dance version of the song. So you agin here,

(01:34:08):
you go, there it is and thens This is kind
of cool. So a table read is when someone who's
doing a movie or TV show that the whole cast
sits down at the table and they go over the script.
So for a Star is born. Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper,
and the entire cast were sitting down reading the script
for the first time, and this is where Lady Gaga
introduces the song Shallow, which I think we all know,

(01:34:28):
for the first time to the entire cast. I love
the deeping. Watch us a diving. I've never met the ground,
crash through the surface where they can't hide us. We're
far from the shitlow now wow, and they're sitting there

(01:34:55):
going what is that? Can you imagine? Wow? Yeah? We
just that's incredible. Yeah, yeah, that's awesome. Thank you, Garrett.
You're a good American. Thanks for sharing your family story
with us today. Keep us informed all day today. Okay,
I will do. Uh. Let's get into Danielle's mind and
heart and soul. What are you going on today, Daniellow?
All right, so good tarn. What are you eating? Oh?

(01:35:18):
I was eating? Um? Hold on, let me tell what
is that I'm done to now? Um it's the power
up Um Protein Pack trail mix, which is very delicious.
Thank you very much. That's what I was eating. Yeah,
it doesn't sound as heavenly as I wanted, So it's
tarn Edgerton the next Wolverine, that was a rumor going

(01:35:40):
around for a little bit of time. G Q asked
him about the rumor and he said, that's what everybody thinks,
that I would be good for the part. It's really flattering,
he said, I love Marvel, Marvel, but it's just fan stuff.
He goes, there's no grounding for those rumors as of
right now. So as of right now, that is not
going to be happening. So I guess we'll see. We'll see,

(01:36:01):
because things can change, and also sometimes they lie to us.
You know that. It looks like Megan thee Stallion's next
appearance could be in front of the law because, as
you know, she did name Tory Lanes as the person
who shot her. So now she is going to be
called in to speak to Los Angeles investigators and the
district attorney and she's got to give her story. So
I will keep you posted on that and give you

(01:36:23):
all the details. Did you guys see Drake's collection of
Kobe Bryant sneakers? Oh my goodness, yes, So he took
us into his closet because you know, we are obviously
honoring Kobe right now with his birthday and a lot
going on in Los Angeles around him, and it was
Kobe Day and everything insane. He has so many sneakers,

(01:36:47):
colors and models and they must be worth so much.
And you know how excited I get about shoes and sneakers.
Just to see this collection, I was like getting goosebumps.
It was insane. It got me so excited. Go check
it out. Yeah, and the closet, right that closet and fate.
Megan Fox calls her two decade career in Hollywood a
self imposed prison. She says she took a lot of

(01:37:09):
unnecessary heat over some of her roles Transformers, Teenage Mutant,
Ninja Turtles. She also warns her fans about the hateful comment.
She says, they hurt. You know, all the trolls out
there and the things that people say. You have to
be careful with what you say to people. And she
is right. Nicki Bella and Artem are not married. We
know that they were supposed to be married, but they

(01:37:30):
put things on hold because of COVID. They have still
put things on hold. Good Morning America referred to them
as being married. It was a mistake on their part.
Fans freaked out but they missed something or that they
were keeping something secret. They weren't. They are not married.
It was a mistake. Jennifer Lopez is coming out with
her makeup line, j LO Beauty very soon. I know
she filed for trademark last December and she has been

(01:37:52):
posting a lot of pictures and hashtaging it coming soon
j Lo Beauty. And the Best day on Dancing with
the Stars could be coming if Carol Baskin takes to
the dance floor from Tiger King yes season to kill
her Code Dancer. She might anyway, I'm hearing aj from
the Backstree boys maybe joining the cast. We get the

(01:38:14):
entire cast rundown September two. September fourteenth is when the
season is supposed to start tonight on television. Love Island
America's got Talent, A little CS to key for you.
I'm still loving Dirty John on Netflix. Season one is
on Netflix. Season two has not hit Netflix yet. It's
Someplace Else and Doctor Foster. A lot of the listeners
are saying that Doctor Foster is awesome, So if you
want to check that out, that might be someplace to go. Tonight.

(01:38:36):
And that's my Danielle report. Thank you, Danielle. So Froggy
Laura is now a hurricane. Yes, as of the eight
o'clock update, it is now a category one storm seventy
five mile per hour sustained wins currently forecasted to become
a category three and make landfall late tomorrow night early
Wednesday morning at the Texas Louisiana Borda on the current

(01:38:58):
track obviously could change, but that is what they are forecasting. Now. Wow,
and what we're halfway through hurricane season? Yeah, that's a
major hurricane. Category three is a major storm. That that's
nothing to just say, oh yeah, it'll be all right. No,
Category three is definitely something we need to pay attention to,
all right. Thanks. By the way, Senior executive producer, straight Nate,

(01:39:19):
please notice I am taking a break right on time.
What I'm gonna write this down like this has never
never happened. August twenty fifth. Yeah, I'm supposed to take
a break at forty one. It's actually still forty so
I have until it flips over to forty one. What's scary? Now,
if you bask in the afterglow for another minute, then
you could be late as usual, so we can if

(01:39:41):
you want to stretch it. I mean you're basking the
afterglow of being on time. Yes, you can discuss it
for the next sixty seconds. Seven though, even though I
could break right now, I do have a question. Since
we aren't like on hard outs. Really during most of
our show, we don't have to back time to the
top of the hour except for the last, very last

(01:40:02):
of the show. Why do we have to be on time? Okay,
I'll explain it to you again. We're running late, gotta
take a break. We'll get back after this. Amazing how
you guys feel like a family working with each other
and love hate thing going on, but it's more love
than anything. Show Dan in the Morning Show. Hey, so

(01:40:28):
you know we love clothes, even though we haven't really
worn a lot of great clothing in like six months
or five months. Yeah, I mean it's you need something
to dress up for otherwise why go buy outfits and things?
You know? I don't know you guys still buying clothes?
You no last thing. I got a pair of shorts

(01:40:49):
and I got a bathing suit. That's it. Yeah, stuff
you can use. Stuff you can use to sit around
the computer, exactly. Yeah. So uh, they did this ranking
of the most iconic fashion items of all time. Do
you want to take a guess on what's on the list.
I'll start off the list so you'll know what I'm
talking about. Crocs is number nine on a list of ten. Oh, okay,

(01:41:13):
in the most iconic fashion items of all time? Crocs? Okay?
Taking guesses? Would like or high heels considered one thing?
Or does it have to be a brand of high heels?
Give me? Yeah, no, that's not on there. Boots are
on there. Okay, I could see that, right, Yankees, baseball caps,

(01:41:36):
Adida's tracksuit pants, north Face fleeces, Abercrombie Fitch T shirts,
birkin Stocks, stuff like that. But there's a whole other
like nine more on the on the top ten list. Yeah, yeah, Nate.
What about Von Dutch hats? Do you guys remember those?
I don't see those on the list. What about Ed
Hardy shirts? I know your husband loves the Eddy. No,

(01:41:58):
that's what that's what had to now, that's what had
to go first when we started hanging out. Seriously, Yeah,
no affliction is on here. Crue religion, gens, bomber bomber jackets,
are on there. Converse Converse Chuck Taylors are on here.
Ze No No see if you're if you're a Guido

(01:42:19):
from the Bronx and Ze Caverici's Big, I will tell
you the number one on the number one and number
two are both from the same company. On the most
iconic fashion items of all time. Number one is Levi's
five O one. I'm sorry, I seem to be speaking scary.
Levi's five O one jeans is number one, and Levi's
denim jackets are number two. Oh yeah, yes, scary, you

(01:42:41):
might now speak. I was gonna guess, uh, aviators or
or ray bands, some kind of sunglass ware has to
be on the list. I bet you they're on the list,
but I don't have them on my list. I don't
have the full list, but I have like the top
ten plus a few stragglers. Stragglers. Guess jeans is on here?
Where's the banana hammock on the Nike air Max shoes?

(01:43:05):
Oh yeah, you're saying they're more iconic than Air Jordan's,
which I think is kind of weird. Uh, Ralph Lauren
polo shirts, Louis Vaton bags, those are all the iconic
the iconic where, yes, Nate, what outdated brand are you
gonna give Dockers? You guys? Do you guys ever have
a pair of Dockers. I love Dockers, Doc Martins, No Dockers,

(01:43:27):
the tan yours were three sizes too small and you
had a big crab eye and moose knuckle while you're
wearing and I'm with you, scary, Doc Martin's. I think
those were Those are very iconic in the day, right, Sure,
those are nineties nineties shoe? What about parachute pants? Who's
with me? Oh? Oh? Pants? I heard them? Pants? What about?

(01:43:49):
What were those things called? I swear? I had a
friend were one one time and we were all like,
what the hell is that? It was like a fake turtleneck.
It was just the neck and then the little like
it's called a dickey, Yeah, dick thing. What what is that?
What was the point of that dicky? Look it up?
I just like saying the word dickie. That's a dickie,

(01:44:09):
the fake turtleneck an ascot. Ascots and dickies, Good afternoon,
a scots and Dickies may direct juicy sweatsuits. People are
texting in silver taps members only jackets scary cousin. Still
where's his h oh? Fanny packs? I love those things.

(01:44:33):
I love them. I know, I know people hate them,
but they they have a place, and they're fashionable and
they're very comfy. They're way better than a purse. I'm
with it. No one's no one's yelling at you. I
mean some people are yelling, but you can't hear it. Anyway.
What is your favorite you're a very favorite iconic piece
of clothing you that you own? Um have anything down?

(01:44:58):
A hoodie? Hoodie? Wow? The hoodie? Absolutely? The hoodie's massive.
Why wasn't that on the top ten list? About champion there?
That was something from back in the day. Yeah, and
the champions, Yeah, the champions. Great, all right, I'm in.
I'm in. I don't know, but I go upstairs right
now and I wear the same four T shirts every day.

(01:45:20):
I've given up. Remember I used to I used, I
will admit I used to dress really well for a while.
After all, I lost all my weight and stuff. Now
I've turned into a little slub. Everyone has where's the
old navy fleece? The well, no, but I think another
fleece was on there. It was north Face fleece. Okay,

(01:45:45):
all right, so here's to a day where we can
all get dressed again. Would you raise your glass and
toast that? Oh, yeah, cheers to that. I'd like to
wear my wedges again. I put on a pair of
jeans the other night to go to dinner, and it

(01:46:05):
felt weird. I'm like, this is weird, like jeans. Yeah.
I put on some some shoes and I couldn't walk.
I felt like a horse who just had horse shoes
hammered onto his hoods. Yep, it was so strange. All right,
let's take a break. Dream about what you're gonna wear
that your first night out. We'll be back after this.
In the course of an hour, we just show. This

(01:46:34):
is in the morning show. I can't believe Gandhi totally
blew right by the biggest story of the day. Oh
what is it, KFC getting rid of finger licking good.
I can't believe it. I don't want to accept it.
So that's why I'm not talking about it. Didn't you

(01:46:54):
say earlier that you've always been schemed out by finger
licking good? That was the slogan for so many years,
seventy years. I think, always schemed out, not only by
finger looking good. But when I see people lick their fingers,
I'm like, well gross. Like I get it when you're
eating cheetos, you have all the cheetle and you have
to handle it. But I just feel like it should
be done in private. Yeah, finger looking good, goodbye. It

(01:47:17):
ain't working during the pandemic. But that's their slogan, that's
their thing. I mean, when you think of KFC, you
think of finger licking good. That just goes hand in hand.
I mean, I don't think they want you to think
about that anymore because it's grossing people out. Also, U
was anyone part of that zoom outage yesterday that we
were not affected by that at all? No, but a

(01:47:40):
lot of kids were just just in logging on to
start their school year and Zoom just crap the bed.
Oh they added on by yesterday afternoon. But I guess
it is KA cool. I think so. Uh yeah, Actually, Garrett,
Garrett got messed up. But at the end of our

(01:48:00):
fifteen minute morning show podcast, maybe that's what that was.
I don't know. I wonder if it was ready for
the amount of people that will be using them, because
not only now people in meetings, but the schools and
that's a lot that's going to be they say they are,
they say ready for it? Robin's online. Two, let's mean
our new friend Robin. Hi, Robin, Hi, how are you going?

(01:48:22):
I think we're doing well. Are we doing well? Oh yeah,
sure we're doing well, but I don't Yeah, we're all
doing very well. How are you doing, Robin? Um? I
mean also sorry, I'm probably gonna cry. I just love
you so much. So I'm just um, I Wan's been
like a really bad breakup recently, and it's just been
really hard because you know, I'm working from home, so

(01:48:45):
I just spend all day home alone and I'm just
trying to reach out to friends and everyone I can.
I just wanted you guys to know that you've gotten
me through the last like ten plus years. Um. Yeah,
I'm so sorry. I speeches. I don't know what to
say because I just, oh, no, it amazing thing to
talk to well as it is, it's amazing to speak

(01:49:06):
with you as well. So yeah, you know what, So
you're you're feeling kind of isolated at the house because
you're doing everything. Yeah everything, I have my Katie, but
you know, from human interaction, I know we were talking
about that earlier, Robin, how we we really truly miss
true human interaction, you know. Plus you're going through a breakup.

(01:49:28):
How long were you guys together? Um? We were together
for um a year and a half. Well that's that's
a long time, it really is. Yeah. Well yeah, and
we lived together, though it's been different. Yeah, I can't imagine,
you know, it's I'm looking back to the last time
that I went through a separation and there is that

(01:49:50):
kick in the gut. Whether you wanted it to happen
or not, there is that that kick in the gut
about loneliness and oh god, did I make a bad
decision here? You know? Yeah, hopefully every day's going to
get better for you. You know, yeah, I am yeh
doing yoga mantras. They all work. You're gonna be okay.

(01:50:11):
And you know what, at the end of the day,
you are going to find somebody who is going to
fit exactly you and you're just going to have a
smile from ear to ear next time we talk to you.
Thank you. I think you're talking about what is ill comory?
I interrupted you. Guys. You're talking about like and uh,

(01:50:32):
they're your thirties, Like how that's better and I'm actually
gonna be thirty next year for my birthday, so I'm
hoping like my time is gonna come, like they say,
thirty thirty. Yeah, yeah, let's let's get out of Let's
get out of twenty twenty first and you can get
into your thirty three. Hey, you know, I just uh,
but don't. I hope you don't put pressure on yourself

(01:50:52):
to have to date and be with someone else. You know,
it's good. It's good to spend some time on your own.
I hope you find that to be true. I am
gonna try. I'm gonna try, and I think my goal
is to be single for at least a year, to
try to get to know myself a lot better. That's
a good idea. Hey, And if a perfect person rolls by,
all right, take a taste. You know, it doesn't hurt.

(01:51:13):
Have a bite. Hey, listen, Robin, if you need us,
you just text us or call us or whatever. Just
hang in there, okay. And it's an honor to be
able to be here for you every day and you
go have a great day to day, do something for yourself,
something special. Thank you. I love you guys so much. Oh,
thank you, Robin, Thank you so much, even even scary.

(01:51:37):
Oh everybody, all right, all right, thank you Robin. You
take care of you too. Yeah, yeah, we don't need scary.
Please don't hug our listeners. We don't know what you
have dripping off of you. I want to give her
a nice big hug. I know we all need a
big hug. You know what will be cool for her
for the next year though, She'll get to discover so

(01:51:59):
many things about herself that she may have never known
and try things without asking anybody, like, Hey, I'm gonna
go do this? Do you want to go? Like she
wants to go take a painting class, or if she
wants to go and you know, do this or do that,
she doesn't have to ask anyone. She could just go
and discover and find out about herself. Or she could
find a relationship but be like Gandhi and still not

(01:52:22):
ask anything that Gandhi. I assume that you and Brandon
you have the type of relationship where I'm not saying
that you're you're not considering what he wants to do whatever.
I bet you just kind of bulldoze on through and
do whatever you want to do most of the time.
And he's totally fine with that. Am I right or wrong?
He's pretty fine with most things. But I know that

(01:52:43):
if there are certain things that make him uncomfortable, I
wouldn't just do them just to do them, knowing that
he is uncomfortable about it. But like you know, when
it comes to critters and stuff, yeah, I'm like, hey,
we got a chameleon. I hope you like it comes
with a lot of bugs. Yeah. I remember Alex and
I used to have a lot of trouble where I'd
go out and buy shoes or something and he would

(01:53:05):
throw a fit. He would just he would go off, Yeah,
I made my shoes. I mean, you know what, it
doesn't matter what you think I need, right, it really doesn't.
I made my own paycheck, I have my own shoes.
You don't need him. You've got a sickness, I said, well, okay,
I've got Well he isn't always a sickness. They always
tell Vie, I own it. Well. He considered it a

(01:53:26):
form of hoarding, which maybe it was. Okay, Am I
hurting anyone? No, No, you're collecting. There's a difference. Yes,
I'm a collector, you know. Sheldon says. The first step
is to admitting you have an issue, and I'm like, well,
I don't have an issue with the shoes. That's sin.
See you're missing the first step pieces, right, cancel. Speaking

(01:53:47):
of Danielle and Sheldon. Danielle and Sheldon. So, Sheldon is
a very successful real estate magnet, right, yes, broker. He's
wheeling and dealing. He he's closing every day, several times
a day, doing really well. So he's on a conference
call on the speakerphone yesterday in Danielle. Danielle bounds down

(01:54:09):
the staircase screaming these words, Oh, Sheldon, I found out
more about that penis. I'm blaming Froggy. He had no idea.
He was on a conference call on two minutes before that.
He was with me, Froggy and Lisa and exchanging comments

(01:54:31):
and funny group text about penises and funny things that
we do all the time with each other. Right, So
Froggy then calls me about something, and so I said
to Sheldon. I went downstairs and I said, hey, Froggy's
on the phone about the penis really loud, and shelled it.
It was like he just looks up and I hear

(01:54:51):
the person on the phone go hello, and Sheldon goes
conference clients and I'm like oh, and I run back upstairs.
I'm like, oh my gosh, So my my fifteen year
old son is sitting on the couch and he goes, mom, really,
and I'm like, dude. He's looking at me like, who's
the kid in this situation? Like I'm fifteen. You guys
are all the adults and you're getting in trouble for

(01:55:13):
saying penis Like ridiculous, Oh, well, they kids have really
your kids have a really cool mom, and your your
and your husband has a really whacked out wife. That's okay,
all right. A weird phone tap, a double team phone
tap coming up for you after this. I don't know

(01:55:37):
who you want. Oh that's scary. He watches his book
the same way you do. There's weird smells. We love
you guys, just for the records. In the morning show
