Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast,
Elvis represents show. I just following instructions. I was told
to throw it Tod and gentlemen, they'll catch. So it's
my question, Am I crazy that I don't think? Well,

(00:25):
besides that that, I don't think eighty times a year
going to Target is a lot. No. I think is
what Britney Spears did that she went to me she
went to Target eighty times this year. And the reason
they know this is because of her conservativeship that they
have to kind of track, you know, her money and
all that stuff. So they said she went eighty times
to Target. People were like, oh my god, that's like

(00:46):
once every four or five days. Yeah, I don't think
that that's that. Bade every eight days in a year,
like eight times in a time found a year. Yeah,
I don't go to Target that often, Brodie. If you
went once a week, that's fifty two times. That means
thirty times eight times roughly that she went more than
once a week. I I usually I go more than

(01:09):
once a week. So half of the year she went
twice a week six and a half times. I feel
like Target has everything, Like if I'm not on Amazon,
then and I can run to Target, I can get like,
oh I need bandies? But is there anyone else here?
Has a problem with Britney Spears going no, no, she doing?

(01:29):
She doesn't shop for herself, obviously she does. I feel
like it might be like her happy place, like her
coming a Target and act like I norm a she
could endorsement with Target maybe And how many how many
bodyguards does she take? She can't walk into Target? That
wasn't the only place she goes to. What was the
other one? Ralph home depot? Ralph is a grocery store
home depot. I don't believe. I think she shops online
on Target and they counted as going to I think

(01:52):
Gandhi literally just touched on something. What is that one
happy place that may see odd to others but not
to you, that gets you away from the average, everyday
norm of something that puts you in that you know
that that that nice happy place Staples? Well okay, right,
so right, so you think that's so that's normal for

(02:14):
you when you enjoy the Staples. I enjoy the smells,
I enjoy the how everything, the neatness of it all,
like everything, there's paper, there's there's things, that remind me
of school back in the day school supplies. Yeah. That
and the container store because everything is boxy. And you know,
I like when things are put into certain places. That's
just might like organizations like organizations. Say the bakery too.

(02:38):
Do you walk into the bakery and the smell is
like the baked fresh baked bread and the cupcakes and
the or that candle store that you pass Yankee candy candles.
That's your place, right And no, I'm just I like
the little taco spot by my place. I love that.
And I also like any park if there's like a
lot of green like plants and foliage and stuff like that.

(03:00):
It makes me really happy. Brodie Garrett spicy chicken nuggets
sitting by the window. Really see Rody PC Richard's son.
I go to an electronics store. I stare at the
television sets. I look at all the things that I
could buy if I could buy it, And that makes
me happy. And whether I buy a thing or not,
I just love electronics. Then I could say shoe store

(03:21):
because I'll just walk into a shoe store and just
I don't have to buy an you have a special
I could walk around. Um. I like to go to
a place that has a lot of selection, a lot
of selections, like like a DSW or something like that.
And then I just walk around and I visit the
mall and I'm like, oh, this one's cute that I
didn't have to even buy him. I just like to see.
But then if it is a d s W, do
you also choose a ds W that you know that

(03:41):
is that much bigger than a larger one that in paramus,
New Jersey not too far from me that I go,
that I that I go to frequently, so you know what,
I don't think that far off. And then maybe really
and truly, you know, for me personally, like I, I
enjoy doing what we do for a living. It's a
lot of fun. But at the end of the week sometimes,

(04:02):
you know, or even if I had a really long
rough day, um or let's say I had a couple
of radio station appearances, a different stores whatever in a row,
and I just need to get away, you know, because
we know what that's like. You're always on, constantly on.
So then for me, I will I'll turn to a
home DEEPO or lows And just like Brody likes electronics,
I love fixing things like I love d I y.

(04:25):
I will take my time with a carriage and I'll
just walk up down the aisles and I know it
sounds stupid, but I'll look at different nails. I'll look
at hammers, pile and anything. I don't buy anything, and
I could sit there for a good hour and a half.
It's very therapeutic. So maybe Britney Spears goes to Target
to get away. You know what, I tell all my

(04:46):
girlfriends who are single and they're looking for guys, I'm like,
take your ass to home, dmo, wander around like you're lost.
Find some dude who has a cart full of things
that looks like he knows what he's doing, because every
girl likes a handyman, and meet him that way and
they'll do it. Yeah, but if a guy's go a
cart full of stuff, he probably has a house, probably
as a woman, not necessarily. He could be a construction worker.
He could be a hand that's a different story. Then

(05:06):
then that's when you have to go to the pro desk.
Every home depot has a desk somewhere like in the
back roft to the side where the pros go and
they get deals discounts and then they pulled the truck
up to the special entrance, the pro desk, because we
can meet the pros. Maybe I'm just saying, look at
the home Depot, there's a lot of dudes around. There
were a lot of dudes, but the protest is the
muscular guys who lift ship and the you know the

(05:27):
best part about home Depot they have a chandelier section.
I'm going to get a chandelier from my one bedroom
apartment if I already spotted the one that I want.
Every time I go in there, and yeah, I go
in there way more than I should because I like
the plants. I see the little schandeliers, and I'm like,
you're gonna come home with me one day and maybe
t you can come install it. I will put it
in for you. I will. That's right, That's why. I
just it was just so funny the way you said that.

(05:48):
And I'm thinking, you know, we've we've heard a lot
of stories about Britney Spears, and we've heard how she
sometimes you know, reacts to the media or to the
public or whatever. Right, I mean, it's not too far
have to say that sometimes she wants to remove herself
from the public eye and maybe eighty times to Target
where we were, Yes, Daniel loves Target, where maybe eight

(06:10):
doesn't seem like like a big number, but for her
it could be that place that she gets to just
be normal. I think the Target logo hypnotizes her and
she just wanders in. How other celebrities do we maybe think,
you know, enjoy you know, like they got into what
they're doing and they've made a lot of money, they're

(06:30):
having a good time. But now as they've grown in
their profession, they find themselves saying I need to I
need to step back a little bit. I'll go on
stage do my show, but then I want to step
back and be a little bit more real. It happens
to name is celebrity you know for a fact does
never never goes to Target. How are we going to

(06:51):
know that? Well, like you got to think in your head,
like like j Lo f was recently spotted and Target
a couple of times. If I need to go back
to Brittany for a second, she is a small town
girl living in from the country. She she's she's always
been basic and you know, just average. I'm willing to

(07:13):
believe she absolutely goes to Target, not a target online,
not have personal shoppers and she gets the credit she
absolutely goes to. If Brittany is more real than you know,
if she is a local target that she goes to
all the time, you know what I mean. If she
has a local target that goes that she goes to

(07:34):
all the time, she to be able to be left
alone because everybody knows everybody she was. I've heard, I've
heard stories, real story alone. I've I've heard a lot
about Brittany. I have. I listened to it all the
time at nausea and from my girlfriend. She's you know,

(07:55):
when she's in show mode and she's in front of people,
she may be awkward, yeah, but when she's you know,
in her living her life, wants just a regular everyday life.
I mean, look at her track record in you know,
you know where she was seen hanging out in public
and you know at the times that she went mad. Yeah,

(08:15):
that's what I was saying. I never loved Brittany more
than two thousand seven. When she went hand with that umbrella.
I was like, yes, her hair and her hair and
beat that car up. I was like, you know, we've
all been there. Just when I did. Well, there was
a time I remember sitting down with her for an interview.
It was her she she was doing it in the
back in sync. They were doing the Rockefeller Christmas tree

(08:37):
lighting back in the day, and I got to go
in and sit down and talk to both of them.
So I'm sitting down with Brittany and she said to me,
I love your sweater. I was wearing a big, oversized
purple sweater and I said, oh, you, what you're wearing
is cute. And she said, they tell me what to wear,
they make me wear this. But here's the thing. Back then,
I feel like she didn't have control over anything. And

(09:00):
we talked about her going ham and her you know whatever.
You know, she got to a point where you know
what I mean. This is not Scary's first time defending Brittany.
Remember remember when he recorded this and how there anyone
out there makes pretty after all she's been through alone.

(09:27):
I have seen her do bougie things lately. Um, she
was she's a billionaire. She's going to say that she's
only worth fifty nine million dollars went on. She went
on Instagram. Is a video of a couple of months ago.
She stayed at alma Yarra in turks and Caicos, which
is a very fine place that only like top notch people. Kinta,

(09:52):
is it very bou Listen, your theory was she's a
country girl. No, but the point is she can she
can have her moments, moments, and she can have her Target.
Isn't she living in like a gigantic penthouse in Vegas? Yeah? Yeah,
when she did the residency. But target, Target isn't a

(10:15):
it's a love all serve all store. You could be
the bug or the poorest of fours and still go
to Target and the red carpet will say that they
have on a little one skirt by a big designer.
Where did you get your top? Oh? Target or Gap?
And they just tie a little T shirt on and whatever.
You have seen that before. Back to my theory on
j Lo. You remember when we had her on here

(10:35):
a couple of years ago and she didn't know what
the buzzers were that when your table's ready at that
was the thing. She has a line of coles. Okay,
the Kardashians had a line of sears. They never walked
into a sears. Please, I think listen, you know, let's
take it back to this show and try to relate
it back to to us. Really, I know for myself,

(10:57):
I need to sometimes that when I first I was
like all in, there wasn't a club that Scary and
I didn't go bound going going to and have a
good time and get on stage, even if if we
weren't broadcasting. We try to get on the stage. And
nowadays that's not a big deal. The furthest thing I
want to do, except Scary still does that. But still
but I still enjoy working on the show, you know,

(11:19):
having making a little bit of a little bit of money.
But I don't want to go on the stage anymore.
Not I'm not saying all the time something with you,
I don't need to know I'm saying the Britney spears
of the show. No, I'm saying that I think it
comes a time where you you're you've done it and
you want to kind of pull back and enjoy it
a little bit more like enjoy life from from a backside.

(11:42):
You know, I don't know, I get what you're saying.
I'm close to it, but I just can't a different
place now than right before. Different By has not only
not only has she grown as a musician, she's also
a mom, you know, so everything about her really has changed.
Her whole mindset has changed. Target is not too far
off from her to go and shop and and so again,

(12:04):
how many of you guys, you know you love doing
what you do, but you need to just take a
step back and you want to enjoy it. You're not
that young kid where you want to be jumping on
that freaking stage anymore. I Um, I feel like I
always get a bad rap a little bit. Like even
Danielle said that Leslie a car song about her being
in the corner at the party. That's me. I've always
been like that. Yeah. I am not the person who

(12:25):
just like runs up and is like super outgoing and
does the like hey everybody here I am When there's
a camera around, I usually go wander off away from No,
I stay away from it. It's just not part I.
I never put all that stuff together with these jobs,
and it's changed a lot, and now we do that stuff,
and I'm like, scary, scary. If you were worth fifty

(12:46):
nine million dollars, admit it, you would not go to Target.
That's not true. You would go to Ben Sherman stores
and Armani stores. She is you know, we'll go to Target.
There are certain pete who want to leave it in
their past, and there's certain people like Janet j Action,
who hasn't seen the inside of a supermarket since she

(13:06):
was three. Right, And I'm saying when she said that
on our show, if Scary was worth fifty million dollars,
is he going to Target? Everyone needs a toothbrush? You
guys harmonized that was great? Not sure. I'm not sure.
I don't. I don't think you would because you would
have almost sixty million dollars. They just walked in. We're

(13:28):
talking about Britney Spears and her eighty Target runs in
the past year. You know what, though, it's Target Target,
but you're not worth sixty nine million, fifty nine million whatever?
What everybody needs? Thank you, thank you. I will say
that everybody needs a toothbrush. Celebrities go to Target all
the time. Where would you like them to go get
a tooth They get on Amazon. But when you guys

(13:51):
go shopping though, for let's just say you need a toothbrush,
but you just don't go to get a toothbrush. You
get other things. So how like, why is she always
going in there? Like that's a lot of time for meds?
They can be delivered. Oh yeah, you know, there's a
new thing for for med's being delivered. There's was a
new thing. It's called no dr rex or something. Yeah, no, no,

(14:15):
you an advertised for the commercials brown shorts, dread Dealer.
I'm saying something r X and they come to your
right yard, your house. I like that. But like when
you guys go shopping, you're you're, you're, you're walking out
of Target with more than just one thing. Good r REX,
good god RX. I'm gonna look that up. We got

(14:39):
twenty seconds, so you haven't even left to say for
twenty seconds Target, if I was a jillionaire, would still
go to Target? Can you ever imagine j logoing to
Target on her own? Not anymore? That's one of my
point was, Hey, Rod's there, it's good. Fifteen minute morning
