Speaker 1 (00:01):
Get your hands together, and we're gonna stop and party.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
A party, the Elvis Duran after Party.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Okay, So we have a dilemma today. What's that Nate
is taking what we call three two four to two
Jesus dropping the kids off at the pool.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
I heard him in the bathroom by the ways code
for the private bathroom.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
You heard him in the bathroom?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Yeah, was he like struggling?

Speaker 5 (00:30):
No, no, no, Well, the thing was, I was peeing, okay,
and uh, you know, I heard the toilet flush, and
then Josh came out, and I said to Josh, I'm like, dude,
you're very bold. I don't ever show my face when
there's someone in here. I wait till they leave, then
I come out. I don't need them to know I
was shitting. And then Nate's like, yeah, me too, That's
why I'm waiting in here. So I realized he's also
in there.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Oh wow, Josh, just drop the kids off of the
pool and Nate is yeah, next.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
To each other, like like two feet from each other.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
But they put these little blinder things on the door, nous,
you can't look through the cracks as he was in there.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah, I'm really glad they did that too. I thought
they only did it in the woman's bathroom.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Oh, I guess the little guy there's like, yeah, a
plastic flat.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, because creepers were looking through the crack you were, No,
I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
You every time I was in there. You knew I
was in there.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
It must have been something like that, though, because why
would they have put it up. It had to be
someone complained or something.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
I've always thought that was the weirdest thing to have
in public restrooms because there are so many that don't
have that. So, like, what were you saving money on
that tiny little well?

Speaker 5 (01:27):
No, there's the door supposed to connect where the thing is,
but sometimes it's just not lined upright.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I find it weird. But so I guess we're gonna
start without Nate.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yes, I don't think we'll see I think we already started.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Okay, Hey, Danielle, hi here, he's here. Hey say hi
Jesus Christ here, he's learning Christ here too, is always here.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
We're always here in spirit.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Nate told me to have questions ready, but yeah, like
he wanted them and he's not even here for him.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Just do them with everyone else.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
I guess.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Okay, we'll start with you, Danielle. So these are all questions.
Actually they're not all from the Good Check Game. Some
of them are from other places, but they are fun
ways to kind of get to know people. So for
all our loose new listeners who don't know us, these
help you get to know us.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Are there new listeners we always have? We never know?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
To the podcast, I would say so, yes.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Interesting. Okay, so this this is one of my favorite questions. Okay,
we'll start with you, Danielle. What kind of compliments are
the most valuable to you?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
That I'm a nice person, that I'm trustworthy, that I
make you laugh, that I am helpful, that I can
be depended on, stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah, yeah, those are good.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
On those are good.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I think this stuff's important because so many people compliment
you in one way and you're like, that's nice, but
doesn't really mean nah to you, but we know it
means something to somebody else.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
If you say I'm a good mom, that means a
lot to me, you know, stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
So yeah, that's good, Scott, Yeah, answer a question.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
Oh That's what I was gonna say. That you're when
when people tell me I'm a good dad, that makes
me happy and proud. And I mean, I know I'm
a doufe and an idiot and a shithead, but when
someone says you're a.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
Good dad, speaking of shithead, that's what That's.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
What really makes me smile and happy. You know that
I've done well in life.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
That's an important one to you.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
That's nice, Nate. How are you feeling welcome back?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
What are we talking about?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
We were talking about? You told me to have some
questions ready, so I'm asking people questions. The question was
what kind of compliments hold the most value to you? Uh,
Receiving them, not giving them.

Speaker 6 (03:30):
Receiving them.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:32):
I like when somebody says that they had a really
good time with me, you know, because I hopefully made
a memory and enlightened them and enriched their life in
some way. I really don't care about my parents. I
like things that interest me. I just like to know
that I made somebody's time more enjoyable.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Well, you don't care about your parents because you think
you look so good?

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, it just takes it for granted.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Everyone's so sweet.

Speaker 7 (03:59):
I think I've got three cavities here.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Scary was your very shallow compliment that I know you want.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
I'm sorry, but I'm just gonna go right for it.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
I mean, because my whole life, nobody really complimented me
on looking like I lost weight. So if someone says, hey,
you look good, you lost weight, I'm in In fact,
Nate complimented me the other day saying, hey, you know what,
every year at this time when you do your doctor
fat loss thing, you know, usually you've gained more, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
A certain amount of weight.

Speaker 8 (04:29):
I will tell you it looks like you kept it
all off this time so far.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Here we are in June.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
So it was kind of a backhanded compliment. You know
what I appreciated when you had the button?

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Ye, I felt good?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Is it true?

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Is true?

Speaker 8 (04:44):
I mean I gained I gained like four or five
pounds what since February, which usually for this time, I'm
not fifteen to seventeen. Yeah, but I pined that on consistently.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Working out twice.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Big deal.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Important. You got to tell you something about scary.

Speaker 6 (05:03):
So when we went to the Hamptons, we stayed and
we went to LEAs Shaker's party. We got it to
our lovely hotel. We checked in and I said, hey,
you guys want to walk to town fully expecting Scary
to say, let's just drive.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
He's like, yeah, let's go, Scary walk. Wow, up, Scary.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I'm very proud of you.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
So yeah, So for me, I'm going shallow. That's the
compliment I want.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I expected nothing less, and I'm glad.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
That you were.

Speaker 9 (05:32):
But you get those compliments in every year, at least
in January and February and then March.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
I could get one in September.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
I'm doing something right.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Yeah, absolutely, we'll see Garrett.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
It's such a negative.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Nancy over here lives for you gaining weight. It's his
favorite thing.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Because it's a thing that you and I have.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
I don't have it.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I look at you because anytime Scary says anything about
eating or his wife, you fall out of your chair.
But I can't contain myself because you're an idiot.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Can we rip the fuck covers off this one?

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (06:05):
You do.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
You guys really have a thing where you talk amongst
yourselves like it's just for the it's just for the show.
You definitely do look great.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
First of all, No, I'm saying categorically no, I don't.
I'm not saying that about you. I'm just saying every
time Scott loses his ship. I do laugh because I
know it's coming from him, so I turn around, I
look at him because he's an asshole.

Speaker 8 (06:26):
It's okay, now I have ana, but this year it
hasn't come yet.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Good for you, per Se Garrett, What are yours?

Speaker 9 (06:42):
I think my main one is hard working, like when
people notice, you know, the work that I put into things,
whatever it may be, whether it be working out or
things beyond the scenes. I think that one goes a
long way from me.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Yeah, that's a good one.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
I gave you one last night. I said, I don't
know how you do it? Yeah, Dad, like that to
me is the ultimate. For Daniel too, that's what you do?

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Like that?

Speaker 6 (07:02):
Well, Scotty debatable. I take it that's a great compliment.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
For somebody that's apparent.

Speaker 9 (07:11):
Oh yeah, yeah, and you know what you you made
a memory of sitting next to you at the movie
theater last night.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
Look at that.

Speaker 9 (07:20):
No, I mean it was the first time outside of
just this office, just hanging out with Nate, no work
related things.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
Was it was?

Speaker 4 (07:28):
You hold hands close to it? I tried.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
Did you get a hole in the bottom of the popcorn?

Speaker 3 (07:34):
You might want to get that all the colonel down
there it was.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
It was more of a bag. It was a bag. Oh,
you just reminded me.

Speaker 7 (07:39):
I did down on an entire bag of popcorn last
night at the movie damn It.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Okay, it's gonna show in three.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
I did the same thing at the Yankee game yesterday.
I bought the big ass bag. Oh my gosh, you
can't help you, you can't.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
And you had the kind bars too.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
I did the little It was sheltzer. It was shelter.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Scotty's right body lives for it before we go.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Okay. I would say I enjoy compliments about like making
a difference in somebody's life, adding something to it, having fun,
being fun, and maybe being like curious or teaching somebody something.
If somebody says, hey, I didn't never think about that
this way, but then when I talk to you, I
thought about it differently, that makes me feel really.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Happy, mushroom like penis.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
As I think of you, I'm really glad that that's
what you think.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Yeah, that's right, that's my come away.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Amazing you just come away, take away, take away.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Come away. We all learned something about each other and
how to compliment each other in the way we want
to be complimented. You're so welcome. I knew Scary was
gonna say, call me hot.

Speaker 8 (08:48):
I knew
