Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast
presiding show? All right, it's just the boys today. Wait

(00:26):
a second, on how did that happen? You guys want
to talk about s boards and stuff, sports and strip
clubs and cigars. We are you out on the zoom?
We don't see you. I just realized I'm not in here.
Hang on, hang on, Oh gandhi, you're about to spoil
our fun. Damn it. You have to talk about only
men related topics today? Or quote unquote, are you guys

(00:49):
talking about your balls? About to thank you for turning?
That wasn't on the list, but we can. Yes, we
said a bunch of things. No one said balls. You're
the first one to say balls. What do you guys
talk about when girls aren't around? We don't really. I
think it's quiet, like I don't know if it's like
more like just like very simple conversation. Like there's always like,

(01:09):
why don't you talk to you guys about what's going on?
I'm like, guys don't talk about relationships and right feelings.
That's the weirdest thing in the world to me. That's
why you guys are all so angry and weird. Any
time I guarantee. That's why you, Like if I just
called frog and I'm like, hey man, yeah, I just
want to talk about love and how come I haven't

(01:29):
really found it in life? Like, dude, are you okay?
You know what's wrong with you? Girls don't sit around
and talk about love and why we haven't found it
in our lives. That's do you guys like you talk
about like about guys penises and stuff. Do you guys
talk about that, Scotty? I mean sometimes like sure, if
you know, if like one of my friends just looked
up with someone and she feels like being a little

(01:50):
scandalous and telling me all about it, of course I
want to hear that. But guys don't talk to each
other about their feelings or like anything going on in
their lives. Weird, Gandia. If a friend of yours said
they were going on vacation, what would your first question be?
Where you going? Yeah? You know what my first question
would be. But that's that's cool. Like I might ask
him how much they paid for it, But like like
my wife would go, where they going, what are they doing?

(02:11):
How they get in there? I go, I don't know,
you don't care? Follow up? We don't care. I don't care.
Like if Froggy goes yeah, I'm going away this weekend, Elisa,
I'd be like, oh cool. Oh no, I always follow
up with something yeah, like it just seems like you're
disinterested and don't care about what's happening in your friends lives. Froggy,
Do you care if I care where you're going? No?
But I would if you if you called me up

(02:33):
to him going away this weekend, Froggy, why not? I
don't know, well, Froggy, So do you do you care
if I care where you're going? No? I don't care
if you care. But if you told me, hey, where
me and and listen to the kids are going away?
I would say, oh, where are you going? Like I
would ask where common courtesy, but do you really care? Yeah?

(02:57):
Do you care? Care? Case some interest, I will say
that you're interested in if I don't like you, like
if you're somebody I don't like, for example, I've you
know anyway still at will say. I'll be like, oh, hey,
I I saw so and so talk to so and so.
Oh did you ask how the wife and kids were?
I'm like, no, why because I don't care. I don't

(03:19):
like if I don't like you, then I won't ask.
But if I like you, then I'll take interest and
I'll say, hey, you know, how is you? Like? For example,
if any time I talk to Nate, I'm always like, hey,
how's Heather. If I talk to Condi, even though she
doesn't live with Brandon, I always ask. Even Daniel, I'm
always like, how's it, how Sheldon, how's the kids? Want
to talk to Scotty like, I'm always that way, even
even with um Scary doesn't live with with Robin, but

(03:41):
I always ask because I care. So if you talk
to me and I don't ask you how your kids are,
your significant others are, that's it. Like one of Brandon's
very best friends in the whole world is going through
a very crazy thing and I asked him every day. Heyes,
how how is blah blah blah doing? He's like, I
don't know. I haven't really circled back. I'm like, what,

(04:03):
what do you have details on? What is going on?
You tell me? I'm like, oh, you guys are the worst.
I don't know. It's some of that stuff that it's
important to you. It's just like forgot, at least for me.
I'm kind of like, yeah, I mean, guys are so
interested in nose about things. Will we come back to
the vacation a guy to ask a guy who get

(04:24):
did you get laid? You know that will be a
question that we ask years ago, Yeah, years ago. Yeah,
you would ask that to somebody who's dating someone. You're
not going to ask your married friend hood do you
get laid? You probably didn't, but maybe you just don't.
I mean, you don't ask your married friends if they're doing.

(04:45):
It's just how many I'll ask you? And you guys
gonna bang it out tonight? You always go okay, but
you're different exactly, you know, just saniel Sheldon's birth Like
Sheldon's birthday, I'll call Sheldon and say happy birthday, and
we'll talk to a litt and we're done. Like all right, Danielle,
you guys go. You guys got to go banging out
for Sheldon's birthday. She's like, didn't stop. I'm like, I

(05:06):
also feel that if you had a lot of fun
on your vacation or something that you did that was outrageous,
you would tell me before I had to ask, right, So,
like you meaning like you came back from Greece, like
I just assume you did the typical Grecian things, okay, something,
but like it like stood out, like you got engaged.

(05:29):
You would tell me I got engaged or we were
when they got married, and be like, oh, they got engaged.
Do you guys know I'm getting married? Right? Yeah? But
scary if I came back from Greece, I wouldn't tell
you anything because you didn't ask me. So I know
you don't care. You don't want to know. How was

(05:51):
your vacation. I mean, give the one just the one word,
you know, but you don't want me to tell you.
You just want me to go good. Here's telling you
about Here's a bigger question for everybody, Like do you
do you find it's harder to try and keep up
with as many people as you do? Yeah? I had well, Gandhi,
maybe you're the anomaly here, but I know for me,
I used to have so many people I kept with

(06:13):
up with on a regular basis. Now I whittled it
down to like a core dozen that I keep informed
with what's going on in my life. It's just so
hard to stay anything to my mind blows up. I'm
the person who if I think about a random person
who I haven't talked about or talked to in years.
I'll just send him a message like, hey, it's not
about you, what you doing because I want to know,

(06:35):
Like I'm very curious. I like to to be maybe invasive.
Sometimes that's been going on with you. Let me ask
your question. If somebody asks you how you're doing, and
you you like, you text back how you're doing and
they don't respond to that, is that right? Is that
is that weird? It's never happened to me. I have
no idea. Well, okay, so um, I was unto the

(07:00):
weather a couple of weeks ago, just you know, a
little run down, and someone on the show texted me
a couple of times, Hey, how you feeling? And I
wrote back how I was feeling, and then they never responded. So, wait,
who are you talking? You have to be talking about scary.
I know you're talking about scary. No, I'm not talking
about scary. Doesn't even ask. So Ghandi was very good.
She checked in on me and she's like health check.

(07:20):
So I wrote back, Oh, I'm feeling this way, this way,
this way, and then she didn't right back. So I
was like, no, but I circle back with you a
few times, because here's what I know about you. You
don't like to be overly conversational about really anything. So
once you give me your answer, I think that you
don't want me to then follow up, especially if you're
not feeling well. You don't want me to keep coming
back and being like, oh, well what about this? I mean,

(07:42):
what am I supposed to say? I wrote back, All
that sucks? I hope you feel better? Like, but I
checked in on you multiple times? No, you did? You did?
I just I just when I wrote back, I'm like,
maybe I felt like maybe I told you too much? No,
not at all, Like yeah, I was like, oh I've
got upset stomach and a headache and saw throat and
get I said too much. That's not true. Somebody asks

(08:02):
you how you're doing, and you know you were under
the weather, and you respond back with a nice, comprehensive paragraph.
Is there a need for that person right back? They
kind of read it and got the answers. Even if
you write hope you feel better, wrote back like, oh no,
I hope the worst of it's over and I hope
you think better. Look, you know, if you really want

(08:23):
to throw someone for a loop like a fruit loop
fruit loop. Yeah. Like, if you're at a store and
the cashier says, how are you doing today, just say
not good. It's like the worst day ever. They don't
know how to receivebody ever said anything but good, no
matter what. So if you're having a bad day, tell
them and they won't know how to respond. My parents
said that was one of the weirdest things about being

(08:43):
in America is that they thought when people ask you
how are you doing, that they actually wanted to know,
like what was going on with your life? And it
wasn't just a little oh, you know, aside in a
conversation where you're always supposed to be like great exactly.
There's got a friend from Denmark and she said that
was the biggest adjustment when you got here, because it's
it's just a natural high. It's our version of highs.
How you doing. They're like, well, I'm doing great, how

(09:04):
are you? We don't really care how in the world.
It's like you have to go curious. It is a
full on, full blown conversation. I wasn't talking it and
I asked the lady behind the register, so, how's your
day going? And I'm She stopped and told me about
the worst customers she's ever had in the day, and
how crappy her day, I know. And I was like, wow,

(09:27):
this is so weird. I make small talking my Uber
drivers all the time, used to get those five stars,
and I asked them to enjoy the conversation. You just said,
I don't care about what you say. Talk and you
know what, they talk right back, because they're in the
car board all fucking day. They're like, oh my god,
finally someone wants to talk to me. A past everybody's

(09:48):
talking about like, I'm just doing it. I'm doing the
service by talking to them and no, no, no, now
doing a service. Yeah, now you're doing them a disservice.
Now they know it's just both ship talk. First question
is always from I had a conversation with them. I
did them a favor you should give my My question

(10:09):
is always my opening line is always, so, how how's
Uber today? How's everything? You guys? You're busy right now
at the end of your ship the beginnings. I got
some asshole on my car now asking me stupid questions,
and I have more. I have a whole stick with
Uber drivers, don't you wait, hang on, hang on, wait, wait, wait,
let's role play. I'm the Uber driver. You get indoor closes, clunk,

(10:32):
all right, you don't do this? All right? I'm driving
yeah hey, um so uh, how's Uber today? What are
you guys busy today? Or what it's It's fine, I'm
driving you yeah yeah you uh, you're finishing up today
right now? Or what's gonna just started? I gotta make
some money. Where do you live? You're really fucking annoying.
You know, here's the best. You get great stories out

(10:54):
of there. It's always like taxi cab confessions, because what
they'll do is I'll say, what the furthest you've ever traveled?
I always do that long they always saying, oh I
went from Boston to Philly and a couple of crazy stories.
I'll tell you. I did ask an Uber driver that
one time, what's the furthest you've ever driven? Somebody? He said,
he picked him up in Miami, he had to drive
him to Detroit and back? What from Miami to Detroit

(11:20):
and back? I also did not include overnight? Yes? Or
was it a straight drive overnight? They stayed overnight as well,
and the guy paid for everything. What do you talk about?
Questions for that long of a drive? Do you think, Yeah,
I think they prefer silence. A lot of them want
to be on the phone and then listen to the radio.

(11:40):
They want to hear your dumb ask questions. Because here's
the thing. In a day they pick up thirty of you,
if not more, and they're all asking these same generic
questions late night, late night. I'm like, so is anyone
ever thrown up in here in your car? And then
the best drunk story about how so was like like

(12:00):
you know, you know, like fell on the thing and
it had to like voml it out the side of
the window. It's great, you ask the same you ever
asked anybody had sex in their car? Oh? Yeah, the
time questions to ask, They tell me, Ary, one of
these days you're gonna get the same driver and he's
gonna go, all right, so you're gonna ask me how
five driven like you did the last time. Like he's

(12:22):
gonna no question three is coming. He's poor uber drivers,
I found out the other day from my driver. So
you know how they're surge charging obviously whatever, they no
longer get that money. They get the exact same that
they always got, and the company now pockets that surge
proct about seven eight months ago. They used to get

(12:44):
a bigger proportion of the cut because the company was
making more than the company has both stepped in and said,
now it seems like every six months they get a cut,
because I remember when Uber first started, it was everybody's
like a dude, I'm doing this on weekends. I'm making
a ship ton of money. Now people can barely get by.
Been making that a second distance that we just gave
Scary another question to ask his driver. Oh, you know

(13:05):
they about the corporate Uber corporate all the time, that scary.
Have they ever said to you They like, due to COVID,
you can't talk to me when they see you coming. No,
they say that you can't sit in the front seat
due to covider therapy. You asked to sit next to them. Yeah,
sometimes I've gone up because of dance days three or four.
I didn't realize that we've done that a few times,

(13:25):
like when we were going places and we make Scary
set up front because we must pick them up last
always always, I know, and they're always like, oh sure.
And then I saw the little thing that said nobody
can sit in the front seat if I felt bad.
Whenever we go in a group. Scary always that tells
the driver I sit up front, Oh my god, directions
exactly the over driver has he knows where he's going
and he has it on his gp as. Scary is

(13:47):
always like no no, no, no no, don't go that way, Danielle,
don't here. It's funny say that. Sometimes they use the
native Uber map, or they'll use Google Maps the time
of all the time, and then they criticizes their navigation
system like oh you want to use ways, Oh I
got ways, and then they use ways. It's integrated into

(14:07):
their system. They should be using ways. Four four stars
