Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about your on your podcast? Fine
sixteen morning show. Hey, fifteen minute morning show podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Welcome back for vacation, everybody.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Radio people were funny. Hey, we never really on today's show.
We didn't talk about what we did for vacation.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I want to see what you did, ok, Gandhi, what
did you do last week?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Last week, I took care of my sister a lot.
She had surgery, so I got to be there to
hang out with her and do what she needed. I
went to the Ohio State Michigan game.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
That was a bust.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
I saw wicked all by myself. I did a lot
of stuff. I got to see some of my friends.
It was a wonderful week.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
By the way, I reach around back to that email
that Danielle.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Received from your sister that you were watching over. You
read it on the air. Daniel read it on the air.
You two sisters have this great bond.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
I just feel like I'm the luckiest person in the
world to have a sister that I love so much,
and specifically her. Anybody with the sister knows that sisters
are just the best.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
They're awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
I don't know if all my friends would agree with that.
No I mean, I'm saying that because you two in
My thought is, you guys are really bonded. I mean, yeah,
what about you and your sister, Danielle.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
You guys are close, right, Oh yeah, I mean there's
an eleven year age difference between my sister and I.
She's eleven years younger than me, but you would never
know it. She's like one of my best friends in
the entire world. I call her for anything. I'd be
there for anything for her. So we are very blessed.
We have a great bond. But my sister will tell
you that because of the age difference, a lot of
times growing up, she felt like she was an only child.

(01:46):
Oh I bet, because my brother and I were older
and we'd be out of the house a lot, you know,
especially when she got older. So she kind of felt
like an only child at first. But as we got older,
we got a lot closer and so like obviously she's
like one of my best friends.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Hey, so listen to these stories. I mean, the union union.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
The connection between Gandhi and her sister Priya and Danielle
and her sister. If you don't have a close relationship
with your sister, it's actually not good at all. Consider
what's at stake here, Consider what's going on. You know,
maybe reach out across the aisle, as they say, and
try to make it better, you know, just your thought.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah it's your sister, Yeah for sure. Anyway, so you
had a great vacation, you, Danielle.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
So I started out the vacation right before we left
seeing Wicked, if you remember that. Then I went to
see Death Becomes Her on Broadway. I know you've if
you've seen the actual movie. The movie's hysterical. The Broadway
show is absolutely amazing. We laughed from start to finish.
It's so good. Then I watched a lot of holiday

(02:54):
movies and rom coms and stuff like that. We found
a couple of news shows that we like. I went
to the Thanksgiving date parade, sat in the rain, but
we had a fabulous time. I went and saw Mawana two.
That was awesome. So that was amazing. And then I
finished it off with Wicket again.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
With Wicked, you once again wear me out. I got
to take a nap. After your list of what you
did over vacation, it's so cool, it's fun. It sounds
like you had a great time. What about you? Nate,
what did you do? I hope you relaxed. I did.

Speaker 5 (03:27):
I did? I you know, I mentioned, Well, you guys
saw when I came in this morning at five whatever
a clock, I was in such a great, happy mood.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
And it sucks because that's the best I'll feel.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Because I was you know, you when you wake up
at the time that we do every day. Uh, it's
a toll that is a cumulative effect over the course
of a month or two, right, and so by the
end of two months of waking up at this time,
you feel.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Like a different person.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Yeah, so this morning I felt like the totally opposite person.
And I just have energy, and I've been rested and
I actually slept, so no, I had I had a
great relaxing time. I took my mom and we saw Wicked.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Yeah, and it was great. Oh you had a date
with your mom at Wicked. That's cool.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
I hung out with my family and you know, thank god,
I still don't live in ear and my parents don't
still live there.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
They got like four almost five feet ah wow, five
feet wow wow? Thanks, no, thanks, But now it's just fun.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
You know what, You've been doing a lot of these
relaxing vacations. I'm going to put the challenge out for
next vacation. You go somewhere fun, like.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Fun time night.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
The last time you actually went to do something out
of town is when you came with us to Turks
and Caicos.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I think, right, I forced you to fly out. Yeah no,
I just I like my family time. Anyways, you get older,
there's nothing wrong with that. Appreciate spending time with family
and stuff like that. So that's kind of what I
do on my time off. Now, I'll get crazy next time.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Okay, get crazy, just scary. Talk about your crazy vacation. Yeah, well,
the first part of it. I went to Costa Rica.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
I was telling you guys about the mangrove monkeys that
we saw, some exotic birds, sloths and things like that.
But on one particular day, somebody whipped out the Joe
Rogan mushroom gummies, which I guess he has a line
of gummies that are mushrooms, and uh yeah, I experimented with.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Those and in Costa Rica. In Costa Rica, sitting around
the table with.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
My friends at the house we had a house, and
we were just laughing and I'll be like, you.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Got red hair.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
Oh my God and then one person. It was like
a domino effect of laughter. We did this for hours.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
We didn't move. It was crazy from the whole table.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Can I just say, and I don't know if anyonet
to he agrees with me or not. Being was scary
while he's high, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
I smoke pot with him years ago and I vowed
never ever to be stone with him ever again. Yeah, well,
I'll tell you.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
My friends, they they can't get enough of me on
gummies because I've never done these little micro doses.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Keep in mind they were on gummies at the same
time they were, so.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
We were all laughing and tandem with each other. We
had the best time.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Uh then these are your micro dosing and you were
having no Well, so the Joe Rogan gummies go.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
You do one to four of them and it's it's
a micro dose. Five to eight is trippy, and then
nine to fourteen is tripping balls. So I got to
around nine. Altony Falco did the whole package fourteen and
he was off to the moon.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
He was he was. It was wild. Anyway, that's you
gotta be there, Gandhi, would you want to do gummies?
Mushrooms were scary.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
No, absolutely not no. What you told me once you
ate like a weed gummy and ran into traffic.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Last night they got pants on.

Speaker 6 (06:49):
Oh no, because I got scared and I got started panicking.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I'm like, where's my uber?

Speaker 6 (06:53):
And there was like a thousand black cars in the
middle of the street, and I'm like, and they were
all in traffic one night, davn you and I'm like,
and I felt like I was in outer space, and
a ten minute right home home felt like three hours.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Like I don't want to do gummies with you. I
just want to hear your story.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
The next day, I like to watch you do gummies,
like on someone's phone.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
So that was cool.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
I had thanks went Thanksgiving with the family, the traditional stuff.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
How much did you spend on the turkey this year?
Oh my god? Inflation?

Speaker 6 (07:19):
That william Sonoma wild free bird whatever the hell that
thing is, the prebrind organically bird.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
It was three hundred dollars.

Speaker 6 (07:29):
When I first started buying that turkey from Williams Sonoma,
it was one hundred and sixty five dollars And I
was crazy then for doing it. But now my father's like,
it's so moist and juicy. How can we not have.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
It exactly.

Speaker 7 (07:41):
Addicted, give him a gummy and then just swap it out.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
I know, yes, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
And three hundred dollars that turkey bitter Yeah, suck itself. Wait,
I gotta make sense, Garrett. How is your vacation with
the family.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
It was great?

Speaker 7 (07:54):
Uh so over the last year you guys have been
talking about going places with your family. It's the first
family vacation with my parents, my sisters, their kid, my
other sister, my family and we went to Turks and
Caicos and it was incredible seeing my dad be a
kid again as he's snorkeling, you know, and then me

(08:15):
and my son Hudson jumping off the back of a
catamaran twenty feet high in the air and it was
a lot of fun. I was trying to look for
the place that you stayed, but they said that I
was on the wrong side of the island for that,
So it's way on the other side of Trust me,
I learned.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
I tell you, turg and Cacos is underrated. It's my
favorite place in the Caribbean. I love that water and
everything about it.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
I love it too. I just hate the airport. Yeah,
the airport's awful, but you need an airplane. Oh yeah,
that airport is.

Speaker 7 (08:44):
The pilot leaving got on the got on the PA
system and told the entire plane, Hey, the airport here
is not up to date. So instead of air traffic control,
we just wait about like fifteen minutes when the plane
in front of us goes before we go because they
have no way of going.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah, you know what, most airport the landing strips. They
have side strips so planes can taxi off the main runway.
They just have a runway, so there's when you're on
the runway, it's your runway. There's no planes moving anywhere
anyway other than that. Turks and Kkos is fabulous.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yes, Scotty B. How was your How was your week?
Did you vacation at all?

Speaker 8 (09:20):
Well no, I mean the show doesn't run itself, so
somebody kind of.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Oh the turkey didn't suck itself, that's violin.

Speaker 8 (09:27):
The only day that I had off was Friday, but
I had a nice Thanksgiving. I actually went to our
friend David Katz's house and his beautiful wife Charmaine, and
we had dinner with Johnny and his wife and a
bunch of friends.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
How fun and Charmaine. She actually brought some Caribbean dishes
something to the table.

Speaker 8 (09:41):
Yes, I had oxtail and butter beans.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
It was delicious for you.

Speaker 8 (09:44):
A yeah? And then I ran a five k randomly
on Saturday morning. I don't know why.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Cool?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Hey did we talk about that? Sure, let's not just
gloss by that you ran a five k? Congratulations?

Speaker 4 (09:56):
What was your time?

Speaker 8 (09:57):
It was thirty five minutes and Chay was like an
eleven minute min or something like that, which is you know,
I'm not a runner at all. I don't warm up,
I don't exercise.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
It sounds like you are You didn't, Yeah.

Speaker 8 (10:07):
I mean I shaved a minute and a half off
the one I did last month. Nice, so, and I'm
signed up for another one in.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
A two weeks for you.

Speaker 8 (10:14):
It's really weird, I don't but but the next one
is the morning after jingle Ball, so I'm not really
sure if I'm going to do it.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
It is jingle ball season, December is it's done. We've
got three, Thank god, we have the three most fun
jingle balls New.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
York, in Philly and Miami. So, uh, that'll be fun.
It'll be fun to see our friends in all those places.
All right, there you go. What did you do? Y? Yeah, yeah,
I didn't do anything, you know what I did.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I tried to sleep in, but I was waking up
at four every fucking morning. I was like, ah, I
read a lot. I got to My new favorite show
is land Man. Are you watching it?

Speaker 1 (10:53):
I love it?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Two episodes?

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah, watched the third man. It's it's awesome.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
It is the third and I caught up on Yellowstone,
which I'm I'm liking it.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
By the way, are you watching it? Are you caught up?

Speaker 6 (11:06):
Nate?

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Not yet?

Speaker 5 (11:07):
Not yet? Wait when I have the links to watch
the episodes because I don't have the Paramount network or
whatever the helm right, So I started land Man instead
and I really enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
And it's the same guy that did Yellowstone Tailor Shop. Yeah.
Landman's awesome with Demi Moore. And what do you like
about it? K Gandhi?

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Well, what I think is very strange about it is
they have definitely like hyper sexualized his daughter. I was
supposed to be seventeen years old, she's thirty, like thirty
in real life, so it's really not that serious, but
they have you like watching what's supposed to be a
little kid doing some really icky stuff and I'm like, oh,
oh oh, come on, oh.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Tulsa King, Elvis, you got me on Tolta King. I'm in, Yeah,
Tulsa King's awesome. I need to I need to pick
it back up.

Speaker 7 (11:49):
I want to.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
I want to buy a bar now, it's just what
you need. Yes, seriously, don't buy a bar. Okay, God,
by a bar?

Speaker 1 (11:58):
All right.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Other than that vacation, I just you know, I had
dinners with friends and I just hung out and read
and I was by myself a lot.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
That was cool. I love it was good. Vacations is
a vacation.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, Staten Island for Thanksgiving dinner nice And that's it.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
I really have nothing to report, but that's totally fine.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
My favorite is when I get to see my screen
time and it says that it's down by eighty percent
or whatever. I'm like, yeah, you know, you really like
just kind of curious.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
As you'res down by eighty percent too, it's two hundred percent.
It's up? Is that eve impossible? No, it's way up. Sorry. Well,
I'm glad we're all back together.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
We had a really great show on our first show
back and awesome, awesome, So there you go, are we not?

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Yeah? How long was that? Twelve thirty?

Speaker 7 (12:47):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (12:47):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Killing it perfect, We'll see you tomorrow, Love you, I
mean it.
