Speaker 1 (00:00):
Getting better. What would you talk about on your on
your podcast. Let's get down to business, Robin Garrett have
the keeping naughty gossips? What Rob does celebrity bus? All right,
(00:22):
let's get right to it. Celebrity news will come very soon.
But Rob Shooter is here. My name is Garrett. We
have breaking news, breaking news, Rob Shooter. We've come a
long way over the last few years. Right, We've literally
started with nothing and still have nothing, but even less,
and but we've reached the goals. We've reached a lot
of goals, one being the fact that at one point
(00:45):
in the last few weeks, we've hit top eleven, top
eleven in the I Heart one. Uh we have we
have gained new listeners from all over the globe, which
are We're truly grateful for you listening. And the way
I'm building this up. He thinks I'm thinking just gonna this,
let's happen. I got what do we do? Earlier in
(01:05):
the week, Yes, the I Heart Company that we so
proudly work for and and thankful for put out the
nominations for this year's I Heart Radio Podcast Awards. Did
Now you would think the way that I am speaking
about our beloved podcast, we'd be nominated, and where's that?
Where's that nomination? The nominations came out, I felt like
(01:26):
I felt like a movie star writing waiting for the
ancient man the world for the head of podcasting. Two.
Congratulations funding Ry. No, what's that category? I don't even
know because I think we're like gender neutral. We'll take that.
That's a good category. Um, I wonder who's in that category.
(01:47):
I wonder who got nominated? There is there is like
an entertainments, entertainment pop culture. Ah that, let's see who
our category is. I can pull it up. Congratulations toulations.
And I didn't even know this existed. For give me
I heart. I did not know we had a podcast
that We're in the elevator trying to avoid from Rob
(02:09):
Shooter coughing all over me a little bit of cold
he's getting over. I'm going to ask the question that
every friend asks. You're on medication? Um No, I'm not.
That's because normally like happy, being pretty finished. But when
people cough, Shooter the first thing they do, and people
noticed I've been on I've been on medication twenty four hours.
(02:31):
I'm not contagious anymore. So he didn't do that, not
on medication. I saw my doctor. I lost my voice,
can imagine it? And I was convinced the sea which
had stolen in Queen Lativa. I love her. She was
there anything I liked in that TV thing I agreed
wasn't that good. But the no's were good. But I
lost my voice for a couple of days. But I
feel better. I had a cold and I slept, I
(02:53):
drank a ton of water, and I drank no alcohol
for a week. And I've lost seven pounds. It's horrible.
Do you feel like the person I feel? Terror Ball?
I felt better when I was drinking. Honestly, I was
happy when I was fat. Now I'm like a lot
of seven pounds. I'm miserable, but I'll make up for
it this weekend. So he's that category and furious character.
I'm trying to pull it up right. I know there's
a pop culture. It's gonna be Andy Cohen Popcorn happening Friday,
(03:19):
January at the I Heart Radio Theater in Los Angeles.
Will be asked to present absolutely not. First off, we
didn't make podcasts of the Year. Uh, The New York Times,
the Joe Rogan Experience, stuff, you should know my favorite murderer,
Conan O'Brien, the Ron Burgundy Podcast, And I thought about
the shrink, the read not us. Okay, what about category?
(03:42):
We didn't make best Comedy, Well, we're not comedy, we're
not commedy. That sometimes no kind of funny, Best Best Spores,
Best Overall. We didn't make the best overall host either.
Well that no, that big host. They're gonna be like
Sprest and those people. I guess best. Ah, here we go.
Best pop culture podcast, pop Culture Happy Hour and pr
(04:06):
good show. Off the Vine with Caitlin on podcast one.
Oh is that Caitlyn Jenner Caitlyn the Bachelorette? I think
Caitlin the Bachelor? Oh that that? That one hurts. Here's
another one almost famous with Ben and Ashley another bachelor.
Talk is Jericho? That is I believe a former wrestler.
(04:27):
We got to take up wrestling. And then the Breakfast Club,
which God, the god, du god God? Should we start
calling this house dick King and queen? What should we do?
Who would be the queen? Who? Do you think me? Obviously?
(04:48):
Should should we have a Do you think I think
we need to start a beef? I think and We're
not going to be able to start a beef with
the breakfast club. They'll win always beat us up with
a stuff. What about that bachelor bachelor and their fifteen
minutes horrible pas? There? They're bad people, They're bad. Yeah.
I mean, when it comes to pop culture, you would
(05:09):
think at least do you carry them pretty have your
own website? Pretty good? The company has hired you? Should
I should be in this category? Who do I send
a vicious letter to Tom Polmer? No? No, never, Okay,
let's who's the head of William Pierson, the head of podcast.
Let's fire off a letter. Let's send an unmarked letter
to those that's that's full of confidence? Yes? Do you
(05:33):
think we need names? To God? What should be? Should
we do? You know what, let's leave it to our listeners.
So if you're listening right now and uh for us
to kind of we're not, we're not. Could we be duchesses? Maybe?
Could we be a duke? Do you know? Let's take
the let's let's take the whole British lane of So
we're not going to go We're not going to go duh.
(05:54):
We're going to very pritisure, very proper, very proper thing.
It will be proper did culture hosts look at pop culture?
Pop culture the prince of thes of pop culture? Do
we need all the peas? Let's get all the thank
you very much podcast, Let's heart broken, Let's hard please
(06:15):
send let us complaints and flowers to heart and please please?
All right, let's take the Brooklyn Boys get nominated. They nemesis.
They are after us. They're a little upset after us
because they were nominated last year. We're coming up there,
going up there. Who else has a podcast? I don't
know what's called beef within our own family. Yeah, because
(06:37):
that's what the Kardashians. That's because to go after the
breakfast club they kill us. That's why I think the
Bachelor branch are safe places for us. They're so like
a different DNA pool to us. Genetically, yes, very they
share a lot of gorgeous share another what you're saying,
but that's not temptation. Temptation island. Looklyn Boys. I think
(06:59):
we could take them because they're like a scrappy they
have they have hardcore fans. They do. We should we
do a Brooklyn story, celebrity Brooklyn story that with the
Spike Lee all right, Well, let's jump into the lane
that we know. Let's start with the the sexiest man
alive that John Legend. Agree, disagree? Where are your thoughts
(07:22):
on this? I like when nice guys win, and one
thing John is this is a nice guy. Anyone that's
interviewed him, met him, or just read about him, know
that Johnny is a good, good man. I don't personally
find him sexy. I find kindness and love attractive looking,
but he doesn't make me like I've met him several
times and I've never walked away thinking, oh my god,
(07:47):
rip off my clothes and get me a cigarette. I've
never thought that. Now, Chrissie I have, Chris is sexy,
Christie Boom, but it's the way she walks and Chris
is so I don't doesn't have the ego status. Has
John Legend upped him a little bit more? I think so.
I think the amount awards, the amount of accolades always help.
Talking of awards, we did not get nominated. If you
(08:09):
know that, let me explain to Dan Waitford, a dear
friend of mine who's the editor in chief of People,
and for many, many years I would work with people
with different celebrity clients. When I was a publicist, it's
not always the sexiest. It is the guy that's going
to sell the most covers who's also sexy. People. Magazine
is a business, it's a it's a very profit. My
business is a very successful magazine. And so they're looking
(08:30):
for somebody who is sexy but also will sell magazines.
You know, my my neighbor, Fred's very sexy, but he's
not going to sell any magazines. So he's not gonna
Fred's not going to be the one. And so the
other thing, to which I think is a missed opportunity.
Here is a bunch of editors sitting around a conference
room deciding whose sexy feels like something from the past
(08:52):
to me. I think we should do online polls and
we should let the viewers have a vote, which I
think is what US Weekly did. AS Weekly put out
their list of the real sexy and very smart, and
they came up with Jason Samoa. Happened his name Mamoa
and he Wendy Williams actually just said this morning, Jason
sexy in her opinion than John Jason. I felt like
(09:15):
the choice is Jason John. I just don't understand how
you could be that big and strong. Well, it's a
lot of eggs and but you know what I mean,
Like he obviously has to have some type of DNA
because John John legends a very skinny Momoa could snap
(09:35):
us all. But that's what I don't I get. You
could be born and be tall. But the way he
is is just like he's built like no other. He's
like sexiest man alive. Yeah, what do you find sexy
in a man? I know you're straight, but what is it?
You know? But who do you find sexy? Like Brad Pitt?
Is it traditional? Brad Pitt for me is a little dirty.
Oh you know, I definitely would go down the mixture
(09:59):
of Jason Momoa slash Clooney. I like the cleanness of Clooney.
Clooney is a very traditional Hollywood sex, brilled air, old
school Clooney, new school Mamoa. See you like the rugged
guys that are like the Rock the rock too? Those
are my top three? Who would you put your taps?
I used to see this man the sexiest man alive.
(10:19):
I used to think was Nick Jonas till I met him.
He's a very tiny man, very very small, small way
small hands. It's not very tall. He's a sort of
two boyish in person for me, so I used the
funk that Jonas brothers were sexy until I met them.
I think the sexiest guy alive is Jimmy Kimmel. I
think he's hot. I like funny man Son, I like you.
(10:43):
I like Honey you are my Mom, the comedy. I
like them being a little bit rugged like Jimmy Falons
too polished to me. Jimmy Kimmel's a little bit more
in the middle beard. I like dad Buds. I like
regular looking guy ausually sounds very much like you, But
I like regular guy. Doesn't turn me on. Ladies might be,
(11:06):
might be complete. What doesn't turn me on is that
zach Efron really super fit, six pack abs, perfect skin,
perfect for me. You know what it is the chin
for me. It's the chin that's that's square chin, like
like that started the best exactly, He's the one, It's really.
(11:27):
I do love talking about sexy, though, and I do think,
you know, I don't want to sound deeper, because I
certainly am not. I think being nice is sexy, particularly
in this day and age where everyone's so angry all
the time. I do think there's something nice about being sexy.
For me, funny is the sexiest, Like if you make
me laugh, Bruce makes me laugh my head right, did
your wife make your laugh? Is? Yeah? Well she she more,
(11:49):
she more at the expense of me. I'm the would
you like that role of course you? Yeah. I think
sex is really important. I am. And I've got to
be physically turned on. So just because you're nice doesn't
make you my number one. You've got to physically make
me all right. So the Country Music Awards, I know
(12:11):
you're right up there, and the Country Music I gotta
say why because they tell real songs, like talking stories,
and I don't like I'm not a huge fan of
rap music, but really old fashioned melodies and songs in
the only place you find that now is in the country.
And they had a big celebration last night, and Dolly,
I hear stole the show. Yeah, a lot of boob
jokes to anytime dollies around, a lot of She's carry
(12:33):
Underwood last night said they were talking about the wardrobe backstage,
and she was she was curious why Dolly always has
the biggest rex and every the whole I was told
to backstage or during a performance. Miranda Lambert and her husband.
Her new husband did not stand or applaud when Shelton
performed here here's here's my thing. So I respect the
(12:57):
fact that he Miranda Lambert's husband and was an NYPD officer,
the men in Times Square. He was looking after the
Good Morning America which they met while he was still
married and left left his bride for a bigger name
online too. I know her. You know he's bride of
the cop. Yes, so he was a cop. Was he
(13:17):
married or engaged? He was married, married man. So he's
working as a policeman in Time Square to insecurity for
GM and kind of flirt flirted it. They connected and
pretty much just left, left his wife there and then
so he did find the horse, so we didn't have
in the fair behind his wife's back. He wasn't sneaky,
he was like that. I can't tell. All I know.
(13:39):
The fact is that she was heartbroke, of course. Gosh,
I remember too. Imagine you got home, so your husband goes, okay, Rob,
you're going to work, see you later, and then it
doesn't because you met. There's a story that doesn't get
reported very often, but it's true, and it's a horrible story.
Because I love this actress. But Julia Roberts husband, Danny Murder,
(13:59):
was married too, and he went to work one day
he worked on a Julia movie and he met Julia
when what woman? What? What's who stands a chance? And
so like you're a regular great person. She left and
she like it's that's roughs. Your husband gets to work
in the morning at six am, gets in his copy uniform,
his heart by honeymoon, we'll see you later on, and
(14:21):
then he never comes back because he's hooked up with
Miranda What didn't and they connected? Yeah, so haven't she
she's still devastated by own and she's moved on. It's
been about two years now, but you know it's now
that But here's the thing. He's he's stopped being a
police officer, which I understand that, but you know what
he's doing now. He's opening with his quote unquote band
for his wife. No, he's the opening axt Yes, he's
(14:43):
the opening actual he gets to go out on tour
and he got to travel around the world on a
private plane hotels. Now, see, when you're an opening act
and Rob you know this too. You get on the bus,
get on the bus. You're not on the opening act
in the main X right private plan. I was on
tour for a long time with Bong Jovio Sung John
bon Jovi's publicist, and the opening act was Mark McGrath.
(15:05):
Sugar and John was on a private plane and I
think Sugar Ray was on a bus. John stayed at
the Four Seasons. Sugar Ray stayed at the Best Western,
Like they don't all stay at the same hotel, but
he does because he's married to the boss. So he's
going to be the opening act. Now is the opening
So the copies coming out with a band. He should
(15:26):
wear his police uniform. That's funny. Well, no, he now
and his whole family was was born and raised in
the police department, and he gave it up for love
and a better career in bigger name. Oh, I didn't
know that story. She is he a Staten Island boy?
How did you so? Staten Island boy? Whole police family.
(15:46):
He met Miranda and I heard too that before Miranda.
He what's his name? He was? He was very, very
flirtatious and complimentary to many of the staff at Good
Morning America's going to America Films in Times Square and
it starts early in the morning. It's it's on air
(16:06):
at seven, but the staff get there at like five o'clock.
I used to work for Laura Spencer, so I know
the gm A people pretty well. And I was told
there was several people at the Beautiful Girl Brandon that's it,
and he was very kind to them. And because of
his good looks and his charm when he should have
been doing police work, he was in the g m
A studio. He was a regular upstairs in the dress.
(16:29):
So it's interesting that. So you know Shark Tank, right.
So Barbara cheek is very cheeky. But she was saying
to just the other day that if you're good looking,
have a great personality, and you're outspoken very much like
you are at times, you're more likely to get the raise,
get the job, and and and get people's attention. So
(16:51):
is something really I'm average looking guy. I think you're
a good looking guy, Carrot, But I do know in life,
if you're just lucky enough to be born attracted, life
is different. People treat you differently, people taught you differently.
And he's a very very good looking guy. My friends
who work at gm said that they and put him
in a cop uniform. People have fetishes about, especially tourists sometimes,
(17:15):
so he would turn up. His uniform was pressed, he
looked immaculate. He had the tight pants on magazine. Was
like a stripper. He looks like like yeah. And they
said that when he walked in, all the staff was
aware of Brendon M. Robbing Roberts whose gay. She knew
who he was. They all knew Amy Robot. They all
knew like, oh, there's the hot cop. They might not
(17:35):
know his name, but he turned up in the morning.
They were like, oh hello. When I was on the
v H one morning show, we had a camera guy
who was really hot, just like so hot wild, sit
at a little table and it was five four three
to show Goes Live. I'd look into this camera and
I could see the guy standing behind the camera, and
I was like good. And then one day he wasn't on,
(18:01):
and I got somebody like a regular cabra guy, and
I was like, come on. Everyone thought you were in
a bad mood today it's like, beauty is not staring
where is my at five o'clock in the morning. The
only thing that made me happy was this really hot guy,
and we all knew about it. On set. Everybody's like, oh,
all right, there's the hottest here straight night. Probably Well,
the first time I met straight Nate, I was at
(18:22):
a CBS party at some hotel in mid Tan Steve
inside Edition and as with Stephen Levine, who's the publicist here,
and me and Stephen had one too many cocktails and
we were like being cheeky and naughty, and we were
with Gelman from the Telly Shirt and in walked straight
Nite and I was like, who he was, fresh off
(18:45):
the mood from l A. And I said to Stephen,
who is that? The whole party stuff, the whole room
silent movie him and it's all the others around, people
who all looked exhausted, opposites five o'clock and or like
slightly shades of snakes. They weren't like this hot. Like
his skin was gold and he's just the type track
(19:07):
pants were tight and he's still got white teeth, and
he looked rested and everyone else. You know, it's right
until he's not listening. And because we haven't posted this year,
but as soon as we post this or even now
as we talk about him, his ego, he doesn't know
why he's happening. He has that when he knows people
are talking about it exactly. All right, Let's let's finish
(19:27):
off with the Kardashians. So, uh, we're not going to
talk about Let's not talk about Courtney. Let's talk about
Choe because she uh she I get when there's when
you break up in a relationship and there's a child involved,
you want to make your work as best as possible
for no one, no one but the child itself. She
(19:48):
seems like things could be leading back to Tristan Thompson. Yeah.
I I know a lot of people around her have
reported on her for a decade or so. She's isn't
that crazy reported on her for a decade? I know
so much about his family is pathetic. She's the girl
that often feels comfortable going back into a relationship, so
(20:09):
she's not vengeful. She doesn't move on very quickly. Um
Kim's the one that's probably the toughest of them. Clue
is a bit of a soft and she forgives. She
has a big heart. She's still friends with Lamar and
so this guy will always be in her life because
of her daughter, their daughter, and there's a list. There's
a little bit of like sparks there well, and she's
(20:30):
always found him attractive. I feel very good looking guy.
I feel like it's just like a scripted TV show, though,
where you know what's going to happen, and you still
yell at the screen even though you know the strike
can here. Are you? I think with them, because you know,
because of the way they've acted over a decade, it's
easy to think all this is scripted. I'm told it's not.
With her, she really finds her emotions. She thinks with
her heart, which I like in a weird way. Across
(20:53):
as the quote unquote most normal normal, she seems the most.
But I think to the fact that some but this
rich and successful and beautiful struggles with love tells us
all how difficulty can be. And we fall in love
with people, but for many reasons. We're talking about the
sexiest man earlier. You know what you find sexy, I don't,
and the other way around. And so Chlamie really likes
(21:15):
this guy, and I wish them the best. The problem
is is that what he did to her was awful,
the cheating, it was just awful. And I don't know
if he's changed. I don't know if people do change.
It's a good question do people change? You want to
think they do, but I don't know if they do.
And now my friends that were cheats in school are
probably still cheaters. Now I wasn't and I'm not. You
were not, Like it's just not who I am. And
(21:37):
I'm still like dating like two other people from high
school week but you never ever broken up, and I'm
pretty sure we never broke up. So I don't. I
don't take school all. Yes, no, best of Luk Chloe.
I love this. The numbers are bad, like so the
numbers on the show the peak, they're in their four millions,
but we judge the Kardashian's numbers against the Kardashians at
(22:01):
their peak, it was a monster show. Now the numbers
are good enough for them to can keep going on.
It can go on another five ten years. Maybe the
show is not going to get canceled, I'm told, but
they'd love another boost of it. What they did think
was going to happen, hasn't. They thought the younger generation,
the Kylie and the Kendall, they would revitalize the show.
(22:22):
They went right and made billions of They didn't need
the show. They sort of bypassed the show and made
millions by selling like they didn't do that. And so
the three girls that started the show, Courtly, Chloe and
Kim are still very much really holding from that big show.
They're holding up that show. I think they're just trying
(22:43):
to buy their time until their kids come about. But
that's hopefully the next generation. But but it hasn't worked
so far. Like we fell in love with those three
Kardashians in that relationship and patting the torch does not
yet quite worked. Hasn't been there all right, Well, that's
just some stuff. You can always get caught up on
things that are happening always with Naughty Gossip dot Com.
(23:03):
Rob updates that constantly and many of things that he
does as well. You'll see his face all over TV
as he as he coughs into my microphone. He's not sick.
He's not sick. Thank you for listening. Maybe next year
we will be voted into the Podcast Awards. Not better
at all, it's not better, but thank you for listening.
That's
