Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to another week of iHeartRadio Celebrity buzz on Garrett
along with Marianne Garvey Rob Shooter. Guys, how are you
feeling good? It's been an exciting week of just total
news that we heard last week from you guys.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
But we have a really really big first day to
day and the congratulations in order. I'm Marianne broke the
biggest news story of the week, so let's give it
up for her.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Now, what story was that, Marianne?

Speaker 4 (00:24):
I mean, the biggest bachelor in New York is off
the market.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
So Derek Jeter Shooter.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
For the men, Derek Jeter, Oh wow, that's right, yeah
he uh, the Yankee, retired Yankee, everyone's favorite New Yorker
has gotten engaged to Hannah Davis.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
Who I was telling Rob I saw.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
At the Vanity Fair Oscar party, and I have seen
everybody in person up close.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
She's the prettiest woman I've ever seen in my life.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
Wow, I mean, she said she just I mean she
was talking to other models and they were like, I
was like, who are those dogs?

Speaker 5 (01:03):
Like hate up, jin Alessandra and Brosio. I mean, they
were all invisible.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
So even imagine bottles.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Her eyes were a color blue I've never seen. I
was metsmerized. I like was just like drooling water like
standing next to her. Anyway, he popped the question. He
gave her a big fat ring and they've taken off
on vacation because as we all know, he hates any
attention that's not sports related. So he's run away with
her and we're likely to see a wedding next year.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
So because of you, Jesus left town.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
He's got the money.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Thank you, Mary, I do appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Or it could be the Mets in the World Series.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
What do you think it is with Hannah Davis that
made Derk Cheeter say, you know what, I'm gonna caring
on it aside from the look you already said the looks,
because let's let's be honest, Cheeters.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
You know dated. I have a whole theory on yeah,
please do.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
So he's dated all these women, right, He's dated Mariah,
He's dated all these actresses. But he he's was the
best Yankee, the captain the Yankees. He retired last year,
he turning forty one. I think it's the perfect time.
Every time we've interviewed him, he said he wants kids.
He wants to settle down. I mean, what else is
there to do now? Right, Like he's got the sports

(02:11):
website that he's working on. He stays busy with his charities.
But I mean it's just timing, Like she got him
at the right time.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
How how did you get this? This is such a good.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
School, so obviously he's so titeless, very proud, and his
friends no, not to say anything ever to anyone. These
are like sports guys, you know. But she's in that
model world. And of course, like, listen, I'm married. When
I got engaged, I called my girlfriends. You tell one person,
they tell one person, they tell one person. And her
boyfriend's so famous that eventually it's going to get to

(02:42):
the newspaper.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Right, I knew her and she got engaged to Gita.
I would tell twenty people, twenty people, And so this
is coming from her side, not his.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Long I'm not necessarily you know, militias or anything. She's
just like so excited. I mean, you wouldn't be excited.
I'd be like, oh my god, I'm getting kidnosed.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Son.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Engagement, that's what she gets engaged to. You tell everybody.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
I want her pregnant.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
I can't only imagine we'll hear it from Hannah Davis's
friends in the coming year when she's pregnant.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
We'll find out.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Where it is, We'll find out the whole thing. But yeah,
I mean, maybe she's pregnant.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Now, that's the beautiful thing about this show is we
are the source and thanks to Marianne on that story.
And who knows what will happen this week, So let's
jump right into it because there's some stories that we'll
hear about that are starting to develop right now that
will break sometime this week and it'll come straight right
from this podcast, right.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
So, rob Let's start story of the week is Adele
So Adele singles out there. Hello, this monster single. Sources
are telling me in the music business. It has already
sold two one hundred and fifty thousand copies and the
single is going to go on to sell over a
million copies. This is going to make this single the

(03:55):
second biggest selling single in the modern era, only behind
Guests Guess.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Copa Cabana Dark Copacabana.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I love that song. It was Elton John's Candle in
the Wings that he re released when Princess Diana died
in the nineteen ninety center. So Adele is going to
be bigger than that. Just to put this into perspective,
it is number one in eighty five countries.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Number one. You really don't see that in music these
days at all. Really. You saw that a little bit with
Taylor Swift, just you know, a ted, but nothing like this. Nothing.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
And what makes this even more exciting for people in
the music business and fans of music Annadele is that
Adele has not even yet started promoting this song. So
I've got the dates of what she's doing on She's
doing SNL on November twenty first, it's of that game.
She's also going to do a special taping at Radio

(04:49):
City Music Hall. She's doing that on the seventeenth, and
that's going to air as an NBC special. So if
you want to get tickets to that, you should start
going on NBC's website.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Now, no one's this yet.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
It's going to be taped on the seventeenth, and then
after that she's going to be on Fallon and the
Today Show. There are rumors out there, so it's a
big deal. We got that right.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
There are rumors out there that.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
This this massive, monstrous success, has somewhat pissed off has
somewhat annoyed Taylor Swift. However, don't believe those rumors. This
is not pitching one girl against the other. Sources are
telling me that Taylor is thrilled for her and they're
totally different, and there's a room for everybody again.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
To We're talking about Hanna Davis and Derek Jeter and
timing same thing with music. Right now, Taylor Swift's coming
to the end of her promotion of nineteen eighty nine
album in world tour, and there was that opening, and
Adele found the perfect opening to come into me.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I think that there must be you know, you know
you are aware of records, and so you are aware
of world records. And I think that if Adele starts
smashing Taylor's records, she shall be.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
Well, you know what, Taylor Swift, you'll do. Please welcome
to the stage, my friends.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I mean, she's had every person under the life side
adds on to something here.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Maybe look for some sort of collaboration between these two,
even if it is just an award show where Taylor
comes out and proves to the world that she really
isn't jealous. There's such different artists, such different signs. Don't
believe that.

Speaker 5 (06:13):
She'll be covering some songs. She always like does the
right thing.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
It's very interesting with Adele. You're not gonna she's working.
They asked her about a world tour and she said
if I'm up to it, basically because she doesn't need
to tour because her music sells so well. I think
that's the thing that people fans don't really understand is
these artists, that's where they make all their money. But
if you make the money on the music, you don't
need to go out on It's hard to go on

(06:37):
the road like that. So Deel wants to be with
her baby. She's put out this album, she's going to
break box office records.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
It's going to be huge, and then.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Back to her country house in the woods, and then.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
We'll hear from her and when she's thirty. Can you imagine.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
I was exhausted reading that at Katie Perry. I didn't
realize she did one hundred and fifty one cities, and
I actually got tired whenever I was like, oh.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
That's so exhausted, ridiculous. But Adell doesn't need to do
that because she she's so massive in the music world.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Itself.

Speaker 5 (07:02):
Everyone loves her.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Al there's adel scoop for the dime Wow.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
So interesting though, and she's probably gonna have the number
one album when it comes out without and then really
worry one direction and Justin Biebero about.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Them later on the show.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
But I think Garvey has some really juicy scoop about
a girl, Chloe call that is.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
A week without the card out.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
It is not a week without a car, So pick
one anyone clearly. So yeah, we Rob and I were
talking about her People magazine cover, and I've discovered that
you might have seen on stand She's on the cover
of People magazine this week.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
People are concerned because of the timing of this cover.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Right because of Lamar Lamar's overdose of the brothel in Vegas.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Although he's up and.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
Walking and talking and doing murthy and he's recovering. He's
off dialysis as of this morning.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
I saw.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
Anyway, So Chloe is looking really pretty on the cover
of People magazine.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
She's really in shape. She has a new book out,
she's promoting the book.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
She's got this on her she's gorgeous, but she was
not supposed to be the cover. So she's promoting her
book in People and there's an interview in there, but
it was originally one page. And then she was what's
called a cover Chip Rob and I know we used
to work at magazine. So you get the main cover
and that's like the star on the magazine.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
It's like the main big picture you see, and.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
Then there's three little a little bigger than postage stay
outsize little stories on the side, and those are big stories,
but they're not as big as the cover star who
they usually work with to you know, sell the magazine
and they have something huge going on. Anyway, until Lamar
his overdose, she was not the cover. So after Lamar,

(08:42):
they had already done the shoot, they'd already done the interview,
they called her back. She was smart enough to give
some additional quotes about Lamar and about the divorce, saying
that you know they're not necessarily going to get back
together and reconcile, but that she's not divorcing him right now.
I mean, she gave them gold and then next thing,
you know, that's the cover. She's the cover bumped everyone

(09:03):
off and.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Something she's using.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
People on Twitter, people in the business were really angry
with her, saying she's using this opportunity.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
Got back on Twitter, and you know what, she is
using the opportunity because she gave the quote and she
knew that that would be a.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Cover on Twitter, she said as well as she said
that she really didn't want to do this People cover
at this time, at this horrible time in her life.
She didn't want to do this cover, but she had
to do it because contractually she was obliged.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
What does that mean.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
That means that they pay you to be on the
cover and do an interview, which she got paid to do,
but that was for inside the magazine. I'm sure she
was going to be near the book section, a nice
beautiful page. Nice shoot they did, but they took the pictures,
they made her the cover. They use the Lamar quote
on the cover, you know, like my life now, my struggle,

(09:56):
how Lamar is doing and all that.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Just it's to s she did she shoot that before.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
She shot it before, but it was it was supposed
to be just a small interview.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
Today, it's all about timing. Everything's working out, she did.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
But we should put out too after the incident for
the cover. Then she did a phone call from the
hospital to update the story.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
In the best part, she hadn't spoken, which bumped her
up to the cover.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
Before, so she shut it. She did an interview, this
horrible thing happened. Then she jumped on the phone with
people from the.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Hospital room, which is in the story, and they said
she's whispering from next to his bed, and I was like.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Are you kidding me? Like she really did use it.
She did use it, but it got her the cover.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
The random card to watch in this Lamar Chloe story
is Lamar's dad.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
He just seems to be jaz Love, good old joke.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, a character within himself trying to get his own attention, saying,
you know, she's shutting me out of seeing my son,
and Lamar is saying, no, Chloe's not doing it on
doing That's the wild card too.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
I thought this was so interesting. When I was at
the magazines, there was often a debate amongst celebrity couples
about who.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Should be on that cover.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Light when Lamar's well enough, will he be furious that
he's not on the cover with her?

Speaker 5 (11:11):
He wasn't on her wedding cover.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
Do you remember when people took Lamar off the cover
and just put Chloe because he just didn't like that.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
We did to cover with Matthew McConaughey when he had
a baby, and in Matthew's contract with Herky magazine, where
I was working at the time, he wouldn't do the
cover unless his wife was on the cover with him,
because it looked weird having him.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
But she's exhausted. She did all the work on the side,
and he wouldn't do the cover unless she was. Honest.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
If Lamar does a cover, you know number one, she'll
have to be on it, or it'll be like My
Life with the Kardashians.

Speaker 5 (11:43):
Their name will somehow have to be involved in.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
Reading Chloe's book.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yeah, yeah, I think we just showed the new cover
for People magazine. When the markets out well, I mean
the Kardashian saga, when does it not end? It will
continue way past our lifetimes. So yeah, there's that.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
What else? Can we always have.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
A delicious Justin Bieber items. So we've been saying on
this show for a couple of weeks Justin is at
war with one direction because their album comes.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Out the same week November thirteenth.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
November thirteen, Justin now has a secret weapon that nobody
knows about, and that secret weapon's name is we saw
is Ellen degenerous. She loves Justin has cut a deal
with The Ellen Show to be the house band the
week that his record comes out. He's going to be
on every single day, And insiders are even telling me

(12:35):
they're talking about him replacing her gardener and coming out
shirtless on the show. So again, see that, what's not
to like? And obviously if he's on every day, guess
who that means cannot be on Ellen's show that week?

Speaker 3 (12:49):
One direction.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
I love that sort of it's really weird because his
image has kind of gotten a little bad. Sometimes he's
gotten in some trouble, but he's young whatever. But I
feel like Ellen always kind of keeps him looking straight,
like she's kind of like always got him in check
whenever he's on.

Speaker 3 (13:07):
Ellen's the go to I mean, yeah, no matter because
he think he behaves.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
He's a bad week in Europe, you know, whether it
be walking out of a radio interview or just walking
off stage because you know he was being pulled at.
I think with all that you bring him back to Ellen,
it's like it kind of puts him in that like,
oh he's cute.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Look that cute kid. I think he really is. I
mean Tim Time.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
You know, he's young and he does wacky stuff, but
he loves he's a good guy, and the music it's fantastic.
And so to sing a different song every day, so
we can get five songs in one week on Ellen,
have Ellen Dancing, and then if he really does come
out as the new Ellen Gardner and comes out with
shirtless plans and shirtless and a spade and a shovel,

(13:46):
we back justin, we forgive you, we love you, and
the music's great.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
So I think this is really.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Well to add on to the one direction story. So
though they can't be on Ellen, which is an NBC affiliate,
they're doing a whole concert one morning for Good Morning America.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
That competitors on ab SO.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
ABC is going to stream an entire one direction concert first.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
On g m A and then online.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
Let's make little bets here and see how good we
really are. Who's going to win the week in sales?
I'm going with one direction.

Speaker 5 (14:16):
I'm going with one direction.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
I'll go I'll go with Bieber. I think it's going
to be Bieber.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
I know, so let's keep a track on that two
for one direction, one for Bieber. I only think because
Bieber has so much momentum right now in everything that
One Direction is going to need to do something to
to get in front of Bieber. So we shall see,
we shall see.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
Parents are like you cannot both, but.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
One of them has to com friendly competition.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
Imagine if Bieber or One Direction wins by one hundred albums.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Well, that just happened last week and Pentatonics, Pentatonics beat
out Demi Lovato by a thousand c these I.

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Just got buy them myself a thousands. I love.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah, let's keep a track on that. What else were
we have a little blonde for you? So, so first
let's talk about last week. So, so, Rob, you talked
about a chef and male chef that you saw not
washing their hands after us. Now, now we could tell
you that it was not Bobby Flay, because Bobby Flay

(15:25):
was on Elvis Durand's show, and he did confirm he
watches his hands. No matter what, it's not Bobby flat
it's not Bobby Flay, So that kind of narrows the
chef's choice Bobby.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Bobby had a really good sense of humor about it.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
You've heard about it, not just not just from when
he was on the show, from the day before too. Well,
we spoke about it from when we dropped that story.

Speaker 3 (15:45):
So we are putting God.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Yeah, so we still don't know who it is, but
just to say your blind items have have sparkled chefs.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
And washing their hands too.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
God this announcement for people to pure new blind item.
So there's one very very super hot female celebrity who
cannot stop farting. She has a terrible flatulent problem, and
she shocked her friends recently a very fancy restaurant in
New York City. And lets it rip little clues about

(16:20):
who this lady is. She have an Oscar alright, she
has dated a really famous musician and maybe they broke
up because her music was louder than his. And she's
a she's a pretty wild, funny girl who has a
very famous funny friend. And she has a terrible, terrible

(16:42):
problem with flatulence.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
Maybe this is like ibs.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
Some diets don't know why this is. I'm not sure
if it's too much.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
So the main thing is she she's an Oscar. Oscar
Jara's gonna throw up. Well, I'm on to believe. I
have some ideas, but I don't want to say because
I don't want to get in trouble, but it's for
everyone to talk about it.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
I think I have an idea of Yes, she is skinny.

Speaker 5 (17:12):
I'm so bad at these though I'm streep.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
I can't guess because I know who it is. I
legally I can't guess. She's funny, funny, Yes, she's young.
She has a very funny friend. I think I said,
who cares about her friend? If she hasn't asked the friends?

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Really famous?

Speaker 5 (17:31):
Isn't she really famous?

Speaker 3 (17:32):
If she has.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
Super famous Cameron, I can't.

Speaker 3 (17:39):
Believe the thought and pot, but not the Oscar part.
Believe because I consider the source. You got to consider.

Speaker 5 (17:46):
Oh, Jennifer Laurence.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
We'll keep getting into blue, she admitted. Everybody Rob won
tell us. So that's what your job is, to talk about.

Speaker 5 (18:04):
Your friends so hot, she has a problem.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
You try to try to figure out who the blind
item is yourself. And uh, we'll talk to you guys
next week. And remember, keep your keep your ears and
eyes open for all these stories we talked about, because
they will be breaking at some point today, at some
point this week, and you heard them here first on
iHeartRadio Celebrity Buzz Marianne. Rob have a pleasant week, and
we'll talk to you guys next week.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
Won't we bother more people
