Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice. Hello, no, no, no no, no, no. Welcome to the
Naughty and it's Monday, which means our dear friend Garrets
joins us. Hey, Garrett, are you there. I'm back baby.
I missed you, darling Hamish your vacation. Oh it was great.
Went to Bermuda with the family and now we're back in.
You know what, you and I deserve to go away

(00:29):
together one day, Rob, I think we'd have fun together.
I'm a good traveler, I really am. I'm going to
DC this week train, plane, automobile. How you getting there?
I'm going down train. Georgetown University asked me to come
and speak at the university. I know now you wear
many hats. So are you speaking on the entertainment world,

(00:53):
the royal world, the inspirational world? I mean, where do
we begin? Where are you being? Which? Rob Shooter? He's
going to turn up. I know I sound like Jackel
and Hi, don't I. I don't quite know who I'm
going to wake up that morning and be. What I'm
going to talk to is their journalism and PR class.
So they have a public relations a journalists class down there.

(01:17):
They've asked me to go down and talk to them,
so I'll be talking. Mainly I think about pr about
being a reporter, but you know, I love to bring
an inspirational message, so I'll definitely have some of that too.
So I'm good to go down to DC. I can't wait. Hey,
if you're listening Georgetown, Hello, Hello, Hello, Well let's jump
in and talk about being in the Pink Shoe with
Paris Hilton in Miami. I should explain. So one of

(01:41):
my least favorite moments in pr was when I attended
a gay Pride parade, which I normally love to go to. However,
this one I was with Paris Hilton, who was like
the mayor of the prede, the honoree, and so we
were meant to drive together in a car down the parade.
When I turned her up, the car was a pink shoe.

(02:04):
That's hot. Okay, let's jump in one time. It is
it my friends? Is okay? Big story At the top
of the show, there was discussions within the Palace at
the highest level to strip Megan and Harry of their
duke and their duchess titles. So we've speculated this. Now
there's a new book out by Robert Jobson who said

(02:26):
absolutely this happened at the highest levels senior royal aids
were talking about this. They also were joking that Harry
was being held hostage by his American wife. So when
all of this exploded, a lot of people, including those
in the palace, blamed Megan. However, they realized that no,

(02:48):
this was not Megan, this was Harry who was behind
the big split. They even joked about Stockholm syndrome. If
you don't know what that is, that's when you fall
in love where you have these feelings towards the people
who have basically kidnapped you, and so they thought he
might be suffering from that. They said. In the end,

(03:08):
it was Prince Charles who said absolutely not. I will
not strip my son or his wife of their titles.
It was actually Charles here who stepped up and said no.
But the institution, the people that work there, the aid
it's the courtiers. They all wanted them to be stripped
of their titles. Well, the people that don't have the power.
It's so interesting how the headlines get taken from like

(03:32):
the that they're going to be stripped of the power.
So says the person who cooks the meals. You know
what I mean, right, the actual people, But you know
what I was thinking about, even though the story wasn't
as led on to believe that King Charles was going
to strip everybody King Charles in a way, and so
was the Queen much like Chris Jenner. You know what
I mean, it's been it's been quiet, nothing's been going on.

(03:53):
What happens if we get a big story the king
is thinking about stripping his son of the title, you
know what I mean. So after the after this official
like you know, ushering in of Prince Charles, King Charles,
what's next? You know, like, what's the next story? Well,
here silence for a little bit, rob yeah, and then

(04:14):
all of a sudden booms. You are a master at
this being King Charles. I've never ever thought about comparing
him to Chris Jenna, but there's actually a really good
connection there. His head of the family, and this family
has to constantly create attention. They want good attention, so
to the Kardashians, but they have to constantly be in
the headlines to remain as relevant as they are. So

(04:36):
after the car a Nation, which is in a couple
of weeks, I think I'm going to go. So I've
been offered a TV gig in London, they'll fly me in.
I know not that. The trouble is is that if
I stay in America, I'm more special because I'll be
all over American TV because I'll be here and I
have a British accent. So if I go to London,
that really kicks me off all the shows that I

(04:57):
do here. So I'm trying to worry in person or person,
but I'm trying to a zoom. We have to how
great will it be? For what would I do? Have
the podcast? I'll do it from London. You could do
it from London as well, but you could bounce from
TV news zoom room to TV news zoom room from
left or right and be in London at the same
time being love look at me DC, London. Do you

(05:22):
have of those big coats with like flaps in the
back for this or in the top hat? Or I
should be wearing full morning dress? I know I dressed
the pot TV. You know fifty sixty maybe I say
seventy or eighty percent of TV is looking the part.
It really is it? Really? I think you and I
can agree on that. Garrett's popping up all over E News.
I love it. Are you enjoying it. Oh, it's it's

(05:44):
it's a lot of fun, you know, getting to get
close as you know, if you're a fan of entertainment,
um to be able to sit across from people like
Tom Hanks and eat yours, Elba and and and Nicholas
Cage and and just you know, kind of just have
a conversation as a fan. You know. It's it's a
lot of fun. It's a lot of fun, and we
love you doing it. Hey, this brings us to that

(06:05):
phole question of the day. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
were almost stripped of their royal titles. Discussions took place
at the very highest levels. Our question is should they
have lost their titles? Do you think they should be
the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex or should they
just be Harry and Megan? Hey, go vote on our

(06:27):
Twitter page at Naughty Nice rather facebook pages Naughty Gossip
and as to check back to morrow to hear your results.
This is a big breaking news story you've got, Garrett.
I mean, we could break this down in the right
after it but over the weekend. Nothing about the king,
nothing about the possible stripping of titles. But here in

(06:47):
the States. Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn I believe I
can never get his They broke up after six years,
as being reported. So this happened a few weeks ago actually,
but we're just getting light of it now because everyone's
been noticing Taylor. So it's been on tour. For those
that were lucky enough to get tickets to the shows
that she's already done, noticed someone was missing. Her friends

(07:09):
were there, Selena Gomez was there over her last few shows,
Gigi Hadid was there, but her boyfriend of six years
in order to be seen now he has Joe has
said in the past and friends have said he would
be there when he could and support but hasn't happened.
So apparently this happened a few weeks ago, very ironically,
before the tour started. So I guess Taylor wanted a

(07:32):
clear set of mind or whatever happened, it was just
let's happen. Let's let's get this over with before tour starts,
so it's not mess messing up Taylor's you know, karma
or whatever you want to call it. So they've you know,
Taylor's been touring for about a month now, and uh,
you know Joe and Taylor met back in twenty sixteen
at the met Galler. That's when they started dating, which

(07:54):
it seems like it was yesterday, But if you think
about it, twenty sixteen, very long time, you know what
I mean, and so uh and the interesting thing and
you as a former publicist Rob Shooter, which I'm sure
you'll talk about in Georgetown University. They broke up over
the weekend, a very quiet news weekend, yea where nothing's
going on, and then all of a sudden the shocker,

(08:16):
of course. So unfortunately, Joe has been added to the
list of long Jake, Jillenhall, Wry Styles, Joe, Jonas Hilston,
and John Mayer. It's a great list. It's a great list,
so it'll be I mean, it is a very highlight.
I would love to have that list. That's a that's
an a list list, that's an as But Taylor is

(08:36):
a superstar. Lots of things going on here. So it
was leaked over the weekend. I don't think they've officially
confirmed anything yet. I reached out to Taylor's people and
Joe's and they've not confirmed anything, but we know it's true.
I spoke to a few of Taylor's friends and she
has quite a close circle. And the spin they're putting
out there is that it's all fine, there's no drama. However,
a few people I spoke to said, you don't break

(08:58):
up with somebody after six years and move on that quickly.
It's devastating that people are really saddy. These two were
talking even about getting engaged, maybe getting married at one point.
It's six years. Did you read the story that she's
already moved on and she's diating someone older. That's silly,
that's not true. But what is true? And I find
this so interesting. Someone I spoke to really close to

(09:20):
the inner workings of Taylor told me that she has
poured herself now into the tour. So if she's moved on,
she's with her career like she's everything now is about
the tour. She hasn't given herself a moment to grieve.
She hasn't given herself a moment to really reflect on this.
It's awful when you break up, it's really horrible. It
doesn't matter if it's six weeks or six years, it's
it's really painful. And I'm told Taylor has her real

(09:43):
concerns now about will she ever be able to find
the one with this extraordinary life she has. She's always touring,
she's always on the road. She doesn't have a lot
of time for other priorities, and now she's worried that
it's not going to get better. She's a superstar, her
career is just going to keep going on. And so

(10:05):
I actually feel really bad for her today. I do too.
And I think this was the one that you know,
we saw and was like, Okay, we really don't know
much about this fella. Yeah it's happy and then and
that's great. So to even go even further, you know,
how do you find someone that doesn't know who tell
or Swift is. It's like doing a jury selection, you know,
for you know, for a famous court case, like have

(10:28):
you heard of Taylor Swift? Of course you've heard of
Taylor Swift. You know. It's it's not you think dating
is hard if you're listening right now and you're single,
imagine being Taylor Swift and trying to date and it's impossible.
And where does she go to meet somebody. She's not
going to get to the bar or the club, or
she's not going to go on on tier. Yeah, on
the dating apps. I've told her circle is really really small.

(10:50):
She likes it that way. And then after the shows
she goes back to the hotel. Taylor does not go out,
She doesn't go out party, and she doesn't go out dancing.
A whole life now is dedicated to putting on the
best possible show she can for her fans, and that
takes a lot of rest. So I think until this
two is over, the chance of her meeting somebody new

(11:13):
is really really remote. We're just at the beginning of
this tour. Rob she she hasn't toured in three years.
We're talking. We're just as she hasn't She hasn't even
gotten overseas yet, which is another year, so we're talking.
She wouldn't even be able to start thinking about dating
for maybe two three years. And yes, and by the
time this tour has done, guess what's going to happen?

(11:35):
Probably another album, another album, and then another tour. So
I mean, I think the biggest thing right now she
needs to worry about is the fact that fans have
figured out how Taylor Swift gets from backstage to her
stage every night. It came out that that also came
out over the weekend, so she pops out on stage,
and of course, if if you're walking out on stage
in a big stadium, people are going to see you.

(11:56):
So she sneaks into a janitor bucket, like a janitor
like little thing that looks like a janitor uses maps
and things. Yeah, and they push her to the stage
and then she walks out. But people have seeds behind
the stage, so they saw her walk out over the weekend,
so the little the magic is gone. So over the weekend,
guarantee Teller should will have a new form of transmutation,

(12:18):
new way. This is interesting too. So fans were sort
of a gossip in a little bit about this because
a few weeks ago she switched her song Invisible String
and that was really a love letter to Joe to
the one, which is a song about X lover. So
this is happening, and this is Taylor's way of acknowledging

(12:38):
it with like a little a little easter egg. I get.
But but listen, everybody, and this is really important here.
The spin you're gonna hear is no big deal. It's
run its course, They've moved on. There's no drama, I'm
told there is drama, and there's a lot of sadness
around this, but she's a professional. She'll do her tour
and she'll do a fantastic job of it every night. Hey,

(12:58):
Moving along, Vogue is slammed for doing a feature on
Stormy Daniels, the adult star, and so people are saying,
why are Vogue doing this? It's the second time that
they have interviewed her. That the former time she was
photographed by Annie Libowitz, who is a really famous photographer,
in a four thousand dollars zach pose and gown. As

(13:20):
some people are saying, the actual skill of Vogue is
that it moves with the times. There was a period
when they wouldn't do reality stars, and then Kim Kardashian
popped up on the cover of Vogue. There was a
period when they wouldn't do celebrities, they just did supermodels.
So Anna interchanges with the time. Are we now in
a pawn star era? And I'm trying not to judge

(13:43):
sex workers here, I'm trying to say Instagram people influencers,
Are they the new Are they the new girls? Guys?
You know, I think to a degree, And since Stormy
Daniels will be ingrained in history not for her work
on screen, but how she was involved in the political

(14:03):
landscape of the last four years. I think that's what
she'll be known for. It'll be one of those things
you'll hear the name and what she was involved in,
and then maybe google what she did because everybody work.
Don't do it at work. Don't do it. There's work
at work, and you'll be in trouble. But I you know,
I look at it as this and again maybe this

(14:24):
is something else you talk about when you're at Georgetown
Rob Shooter talking to the future publicists of the world.
Get what the times or get left behind, you know
what I mean? So Vogue obviously, if they just stick
to supermodels, it's been there, done that, everybody sees it.
How many how many supermodels can you can you show
off and feature where people are like, oh, I haven't
seen this before, or so give something different to the

(14:46):
audience to see if they are, you know, are attracted
to it, or just get left behind and just become
a typical magazine. Then consion the craft of this. So
what's difficult about this is you don't want to alienate
your core audience, but you haven't thinking new people. And
that's why a lot of really successful magazines TV shows,

(15:07):
radio shows, they don't change their format. They just tinker
a little bit with it. So we will wait and see, Hey,
quickly before we get a break, what's going on with
Queen Elizabeth and apparently her military style operation to make
sure we never saw her in a wheelchair. It was
so interesting Rob Shooter. So you know during the jubilee,
you know, every she had to be there, right, but

(15:29):
they didn't want to show off the fact that there
was a wheelchair involved. So they had meetings upon meetings
and and and the Queen. The Queen made sure of
it where she had this military style exercise was put
into place so that no one could see she was
using a wheelchas which is so interesting the fact that
you know how many people work there, as we've heard

(15:50):
from every single leak that has come out from there,
but it was one of those things that never came
out until today that she was usingheelchair. And you know what,
it worked because ye did well, I didn't know. It's amazing.
She didn't want anyone to see her in a wheelchair.
She wanted us all to remember her as that strong
majesty that she will always be. Hey, we're going to

(16:10):
take a quick break and we will be right back.
Welcome back to the Naughty Pum Dear friend Garrett vehicle. Hey, Garret,
let's get to the polls. Dot Lesh who we talked
about Brookshiels saying that JFK Junior showed his true colors
after she refused to sleep with him on the first date.
A question was do you kiss and tell? Would you

(16:32):
be telling this story? JFK Junior is no longer around
to defend himself, would you be telling the story? Let's
have a look. Oh, seventy percent said yes. I guess
if JFK Junior tried to sleep with me, Garrett, I
would tell Yeah. That's one of those things where it
is high enough. Now, if it was like a sixth
cousin of the Kennedy family, who really cares? You know what?

(16:55):
Really cares? Who really curious? The tenth cousin removed cap,
But I do care if it's JFK. Judiah. Hey, don't
forget to vote on today's pole Twitter page, at Norty
nice rob at Facebook page and already gossip. I'm sure
it's check back tomorrow or to hear your results in.
Now it's time for our nicest of the day. Yes,
all right, so we all know what happened to Jeremy
Runner just a couple of months ago. But we're seeing

(17:19):
some positive signs from him. You know, he did in
an interview with Good Morning America recently. But over the weekend,
he took his family out to Six Flags Magic Mountain
and he of course was on a scooter because of
the injury with the snowplow hurting his legs and being
able to function. But it's one of those things where
it's a small step forward and a positive one where
people are like, he's doing well. He put it on

(17:41):
social media and he went on Friday with some friends
and he thanked the Magic Mountain and uh, it was.
It was interesting because, as he said, he was a
few months away from he was moments away from dying,
moments away from dying. So he goes so freaking happy
to see this. This made my day. On your feet already,
that's a real hero right there. As people watched, because

(18:04):
it's one of those things you see a celebrity in
an amusement park, you go, oh wow, that's cool. But
then to see someone that literally was moments away from
dying enjoying life. It puts a smile on your face too. Yeah,
it affirms life and nicest of the day. Now, I
notice the naughty, naughty, naughty vander Pump star Adriana Maddox.

(18:28):
I think I'm pronouncing that right. I don't you watch
this show, but it's oh, you should press because of
this scandal. Apparently her boyfriend dated somebody else. Lots of drama.
There's a love triangle here. Well, don't worry, because Maddox
is going to be joining Dancing with the Stars. I

(18:48):
don't know about this. One part of me wishes they
all went away. I do too. But if if ABC
was smart and they want get people talking and signing
up for Disney Plus to watch Dancing with the Stars.
You know who you put in the competition? The guy
and the girl? No, no, no, not even the guy.
The other girl, the other girl. Oh but you force,
you force? So what's his face to sit there and

(19:10):
watch watch them? Oh? Carot, oh, Garrett. It's all too
much for me. And I love to draw Mark Brunette
and Andy Cohen, Oh and Mark. Okay, let's said with
a moment of Robbie ram but love it. You've got
to be ready to let somebody walk out of the door.
You have to listen when someone tells you they're not

(19:31):
yet ready to heal. I know we want the best
for people we love, for our friends, for relatives, but
sometimes they are not ready yet to heal. And when
that's the case, you gotta let them walk out of
the door. Tough love. Oh yeah, you can tough love
sometimes and I have to know you have to do it. Hey,

(19:52):
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
listening to The Naughty but Nice with Rob and Garrett Show,
a production of iHeartRadio. Don't for get to subscribe on
