Speaker 1 (00:09):
Ye, Shooter's nice. It's time.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Hello. No, no, no, no, Welcome to the naughty but
nice shame your host, Rub Shooter. And it's a bright
Monday morning here in New York City, and Monday means
only one thing around here. Our dear friend, Garrett Vogel
joins us. Hey, Garrett, are you there? Hello Bobby, Hello,
my friend. How's your weekend? What did you do?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
It was great, just a lot of getting ready for
Christmas and the holidays. And I've been talking so much,
as you can tell my voice. Decided to take a vacation.
So it's it's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
It's it's so sexy, like you've been up all night.
I saw Wicked over the weekend. I finally got you
think to see Wicked. Really great, a little long, but
it's really really gray. Those two. Ariana Grande is a revelation,
just really amazing. And Cynthia Arriva Ah, unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Is it crazy to think that there's a part two
coming out?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I don't say that. That almost turned me off, like
I think it could end where she flies. I'm not
giving any spoilers away. It's done that in the musical
for a really long time. I loved it. I thought
it was really really great, and I thought that guy
Jonathan Bailey was just charming, just so sort of like
a really funny, handsome prince. He made me laugh.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Did you have any singers in yours?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
I did not, and I was a little bit disappointed.
I might have been the singer. No, I was very respectful.
I did not have singers. It's still such a big hit.
I couldn't get tickets, so I tried to go in
the evening and it was sold out. So we ended
up going a eleven am screening, which I thoroughly recommend.
I loved it because then you've got the whole day
to talk about it and sing dads, And yeah, I

(01:50):
loved it.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Did you walk out of the theater doing that dance?
Where where Ariana Grande has her notebook from?

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I love that. That's what I walked out the theater
doing was screaming, defying gravity, and I pretended I had
a capon and a broomstick and flew home.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
I can't even hit that I note right now. I
have no voice.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Sounds great. Okay, let's jump into our show. What time
is it? My friends? And is story at the type
of the show. So Tyler Perry is shutting down any
questions about him helping Meghan and Harry. Let me explain.
So the film mogul was really tight lipped during a
recent interview. This is not a tabloid interview. This is
with the Sunday Times, that's a really fancy newspaper in London,

(02:33):
and being a British paper, being any paper, they're going
to ask him about Harry and Meghan, who is very
very close with In fact, he helped them when they
left Royal Life in twenty twenty four years ago, Garrett.
So he provided them with a mansion, his mansion in
la He even gave them a private jet and even

(02:54):
provided security when they left the family. So he was
asked helping them during this transition, he said, quote, I didn't.
Megan is from California. She knows California well, so there
is nothing to prepare them for. He also went on
to say that he's basically learnt that every time he

(03:17):
mentions them, that becomes the headline, so he'd rather just
not talk about them.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Not bad advice, good, it's a good move, especially for
the fact knowing that you know, not saying their names
doesn't add to the fuel to the fire, you know
what I mean. So it's kind of like he might
he might help them behind the scenes. We'll never know
because he won't talk about it, because he knows that
will just take take precedent over anything else that he
may talk about throughout the day or in an interview.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
That's a really solid point there. I don't think talking
about your friends is a bad thing if you do
it in a really genuine, honest way. In fact, I
find that when my friends won't talk about me or
that leaves it is my enemies. So I actually quite
encourage my friends if people ask about me, tell them
nice things. And so I think, here, this wasn't so

(04:09):
much about Harry and Meghan. Dare I say it was
about Tyler. Tyler Perry was promoting himself, his own projects,
his own movies, and he knows that nothing he can do,
no project, and he's very successful, and he makes fantastic films,
fantastic TV shows. He knows they're not as interesting as
Harry and Meghan. His friendship with these two is the

(04:30):
most interesting thing in his life.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Find it so he could find a cure for a disease. Right,
let's just say, he's very powerful. He finds, he teams
up with doctors, finds a cure for a disease. But
yet he drops Meghan and Harry in that same you know,
article or press release or whatever, speaking about it, finding
a cure for a disease will get overshadowed by those.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Two exactly right. And he knows it. He's super super smart.
Now Harry and Meghan talk about him, they've been quite
honest that he's the godfather to their kids, that he
really did help them. We know that they did stay
in his help, in his house. Garrett, None of this
to me, it's bad. It's all lovely news. So I

(05:15):
wonder why I get why we've explained why. It's because
whenever you mentioned Harry and Meghan, that becomes the story.
But I would live out on this. I would dine
out if I had given Harry and Meghan my house,
if I've given them security, if I was the godparents
to their kids, I wouldn't hide it.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
See. But I think it's a different level because Tyler Perry,
let's let's be honest. Ever since you know he came
he came into contact with Oprah, he's been in another
stratosy of money. So for for him, it's it's not
about the money, obviously, So it's it's it's about the
projects and working on it and every all those little
things that we we grab onto like hey, what did

(05:53):
au what did Harry have for dinner last night? Tyler?
It doesn't it doesn't move anything for him. It doesn't.
It doesn't push anything forward. And so, like I get,
it can be a little bit of annoying, you know.
It's like, I mean, I'm sure you deal with it
a lot because you are tied to someone very famous
as well, and I'm sure a lot of people always
want to know, like and as much as you want
to be nice, kind of in the back of your head,

(06:15):
could probably you know.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I'm I'm, oh, maybe a little tiresome. But I talk
about my friends. I don't get asked that often about
the chap you just mentioned, but I get asked about you.
I get asked about Hoder, I guess about asked about
Elvis Duran, I get asked about like my real friends people,
but I really really hang out with And I always

(06:37):
say because I think it'd be suspicious if somebody said
to me, what's Garrett really like? And I was like, Oh,
I don't talk about Garrett. That means you're a monster.
If I say he's a great guy, it's actually even
funnier when you're hanging me with him. Tell I think
it's okay to talk about your friends, Which brings us,
though to our pole questions of the day. Tyler Perry
will not speak about Harry and Meghan. He was very

(07:00):
tight lipped when he was recently asked about them. Do
you talk about your friends? That's the question of the day.
Now that sounds really really naughty.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Does that you can't go either way good or bad? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:10):
That sunds like you're saying bad stuff. No, you could
say good stuff too. Do you talk about your friends?
Be honest? I think the answer is yes. But let
me know. Go and vote on our Twitter page. I
had naughty nice rob at Facebook page? Is naughty gossip?
And MI sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Erret,
what are you working on? All? Right?

Speaker 1 (07:31):
So I'm gonna preface, We're not going back in time.
This is not a story from nineteen ninety four. Okay,
Flavor Flav got kicked out of the Backstreet Boys dressing
room during the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting. So Flavor Flav,
I don't know if you if you're aware. I mean,
he literally can pop up anywhere. He is, like where's Waldough,

(07:51):
Like he was at the Thank Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade,
he was at a Taylor Swift show. He was he
literally was at the Rockefeller Center Christmas. He wasn't on
the bill. The Backstreet Boys were they performed. It wasn't
like Flavor Flave was performing anywhere. He just happened to
get access all the time to show up to these events.
And I don't know how, but he ended up in

(08:11):
the Backstreet Boys' dressing room more times. At a Nune
Flavor Flave ends up there because he wants to meet
these people, you know what I mean. And then of
course they recognized Flavor Flave because he's wearing a big
clock and he has a very big personality, so they're like, oh,
Flavor Flave. But for the most part, he kind of
like finds his way into places. So the security, of
course very tight, especially especially on Wednesday for the Christmas

(08:34):
tree lighting, especially what happened in New York that day.
They kicked him out of they told him to move
on Flavor. Flave didn't take well to it. He said,
what did I ever do to NBC or anyone? I
spread joy and love like I did for NBC at
the Olympics. Now, he was at the Olympics too, I
mean he literally was everywhere. So I think it was

(08:56):
just a case of Flave not understanding the uh the
security risk at the time.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
You know.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
I'm sure if it was an average normal day, go ahead, Flavor,
sit on the couch, Avisoda, you know, But for for
the situation that New York City was in at the time, uh,
you know, NBC security, I think was in the right
to do so, right right right.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
I've seen this happen. I've worked with big celebrities and
they often don't RSVP, they just turn up. When I
worked with Jessica Simpson, she just turned up. But we
always got.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
You did would that be your responsibility.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
To probably or maybe their assistance or like it's amazing too.
It's like when people walk into really really popular restaurants
without a reservation. I saw it happen with Greenneth Paltrow.
I's had a restaurant and Greenneth came in and they
had no tables, and they told her no, and she
didn't react quite as well as I hoped she would,
but clear it was clear to me that she's used

(09:52):
to walking into a place and saying, I'm Gwenneth Paltrow
in the place, saying come on in. And so I think.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
One person that works for and her name is Taylor Swift. Mmm,
I think she can walk in anywhere any given time,
from a seven to eleven to the hottest restaurant in
town and find some table.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
I think you're probably right.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
I could do that.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
But Flavor Flay is maybe a slightly different personality than
the ones we just mentioned, and so it's a little entitled.
I don't think he meant any harm. I think he's
a really nice guy. His friends were performing, he said, oh,
let's go and check out my friends. What he didn't
realize is that the rules are the rules for everybody,

(10:35):
and the security guards are so busy with real potential
threats they don't need to be wasting their time on
Flavor of Flay. So in future, Flay, if you're listening
a love loalo, we love you. But it's just not
a good look. It's really sort of entitled, and I
don't think you should do this anymore? Okay, moving along,
Britney Spears has comeback is in jeopardy. So Britney Speus

(10:58):
has not had a hit since It's twenty twenty two,
which is only a couple of years ago, when Elton
John and Brittany put out Hold Me Closer. I loved
that single. It went really, really well well. At the time,
there's lots of rumors that Brittany was going to try
and make a comeback. Now people are saying that her
decisions are very fluid and you can't put much weight
in what she says because it might not actually happen.

(11:20):
So I'm told at the moment, don't expect any new
music from Brittany because she's focusing on adapting her best
selling memoir, which I loved with the Wicked director John Chew.
He's brilliant. I think that would be great. You think
Brittany will fly in this new version like like Alphabet.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Well, you know, I think I think they would definitely,
you know, have her, you know, as a consultant for
her own memoir turned into biopic. But I don't think
she'll be on set as much. Probably, Brittany, you know what,
send us some notes at home, you know, will be good.
It's so interesting though, John Chew. I mean he literally
got to start by just doing a Justin Bieber documentary,

(12:00):
you know, the Justin Bieber World tour that I didn't
know that movie. He did that, and then he turned
into this amazing director.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Wow, that explains why he knows music. All his films
are so musical. Forget Wicked. Rich obviously is a musical,
but all his films have rhythm and a pulse, and
that explains why he comes from the music business. Oh okay, quickly,
before we get a break. Your favorite celebrity guest in
the whole, well, do you still love her? Is she's
still number one?

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Of course? Well, I mean by default, like my wife,
Alli loves Kelly Clarkson too. Kelly can do no wrong
in her eyes. So she was doing her show and
she was chatting with actors Tyler Posey and Tay Diggs,
and she revealed that she just loves to be naked
until heavity takes a hold of it herself. It hasn't yet,
so I just would like to assume she still likes

(12:49):
to enjoy to be naked. And I think, just like
with anything, we all love to be naked from time
to time, but she did in front of the audience.
The audience loved it. And the great thing about Kelly
given she has she she has worked her butt off
over the last couple of months and changed her look.
But she's always been body positive and I think that's
what a lot of fans hold on to that she

(13:12):
embraces it. She also is an ashamed of it, and
you know she wants others to feel the same way.
So I think that's why she connects a lot on
top of her having great music. But you know, do
you like being naked?

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Rub absolutely not. I think I was fully clothed, even
in your own home. I don't like it. I'm now
I barely like to take my clothes off when I
get in the shower. I don't like walking around, even
if I'm alone. I know.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
So when you get out of the shower, you're the strip.
You put the towel straight on and then go get
closed like you just don't walk dry off and then
walk out into your bedroom.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
I dry off and I walk out in my underwear.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
That well, I get if you're relaxing, but no, no,
because you're in your own house, I'm a who's to judge?

Speaker 2 (13:57):
What's the care in your house? A few people to judge,
including a doggie and two children.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
So how the dog thing is weird? Like because I
know she's judging and I really can't tell, and she's
there and she's staring, and she's I kicked the dog
out of the bathroom. I can't have the dog in
the bathroom. That's that's the weird. I don't know why
it's a dog, but I can't have the dog in
the bathroom when either when I'm using it or going
in the shower.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
I see what about you, Gary? You clearly like to
be naked. Do you like to walk around your house naked?

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Well, not walk around, but like that transition from the
shower to you know, changing into your clothes, Like it's
it's a simple you're, you're, you're, you're not you're naked
for seconds, you know what I mean. So it's no
big deal. You don't need a towel. It's not like
you're in a locker room. You're in your own house.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
For God's Do you walk around naked in the gym
in the shower?

Speaker 1 (14:46):
Yes? And here's why, Because I just grew up around
it like I grew up. We went to an all
boys high school. Uh, and this is turning down a
road that I really didn't think it was going to.
But here we are, and so I was just used
to it. I was accustomed to it. No big deal,
you know. A butd is a bud, A thing is
a thing. You know whatever.

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Well, you clearly haven't seen my birth. It's beautiful, I know. Okay,
this is getting too saucy. Let's go to break and
we will be right back. Welcome back to the naughty Bernicia.
Your host would shoot it with their dear friend, Garrett Vogel. Hey, Garrett,
let's get to the poles. Last year, we asked about
Prince Harry shutting down divorce rumors with Meg and he

(15:27):
actually addressed the rumors. Our question was rather simple, Is
it better to address rumors or ignore them? What do
you do? I could go either way on this one.
Sometimes I think because of social media, people can come
at me, and sometimes I ignore them. Sometimes I respond.
I saw today Katie Holmes responded to a rumor that

(15:47):
Suri Cruz was a multi millionaire that got a trust
fund that he kicked in from Tom Cruise, and she said,
Daddy's not true. So what do you think here? Is
it better to address rumors or ignore them? Let's have look,
Oh you are outspoken. Noughty's seventy say address them, fight back.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
So we do that over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Fight fight, fight back. Hey, don't forget to vote on
today's poul. We're gonna add Twitter page at naughty nice rob.
Facebook page is naughty yr zip and be sure to
check back to my Ratwulter here your results are. Now
it's time for our nicest of the day.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Yes, and you know, I think you said this from
time to time, you know, just do life is short,
Just enjoy life and do things that you enjoy doing.
And Catherine Zita Jones is doing that by pretty much,
you know, saying goodbye to Hollywood the spotlight at least.
She goes, I got nothing left to prove. She's she's
done it all, pretty much, and she's doing that by

(16:45):
by going back to her creative roots with a move
into indie films. She goes, I'm really excited about doing
a little indie picture and it goes back to my
theater thinking I don't have to prove anything. I mean,
she's an Academy Award winner, you know. And now she's
she has the decision to pursue an Oscar or even
or a Tony Award. You know. Winning the Academy Award

(17:08):
was totally unexpected. It blew my mind. But you know,
she doesn't have to. She doesn't have She's not worried
about what the critics think or what happened, you know,
And exactly goes back to what you say, Just just
enjoy your life and do you and.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
Do you be you? Catherine Zeta Jones are nicest of
the day, and now I noticed the day. Naughty daughter.
Tyler Cameron is our notice of the day. You might
not know that name. He was on the Bachelor ete
and then he was such a handsome guy. He went
on to be I think an underwear model. He's popped
up a lot in the magazines, on the blogs, on
the websites, and I'm not quite sure of what he
does for a living, but he's very nice to look at.

(17:43):
And he's always shirtless while he's in hot water. After
posting some awkward texts fighting with his girlfriend, so he
shared the spat. Shall we say his girlfriend's name is Tate,
and so he put this out to He's over two
million followers, and some people thought it was funny. Some
people are pushing back, mostly though, people are saying, this

(18:05):
is a private argument. Now. I get your reality stars,
I get you like the spotlight. I get while you're
doing this, But I think a text, something private, particularly
a fight, is probably left best private. Okay, let's end
with a moment of Eventually, you just have to realize
that you're living for an audience of one that's you.

(18:28):
I'm not here for anyone else's approval. So we heard
Katherine Zeta Jones say this just a few moments ago.
I want you to say it to yourself today. You're
living for an audience of one that is you, and
you are not here for anyone else's approval. What do
you think about that, Garrett? It's hard to let go

(18:51):
to other people's feelings opinions, but you have to if
you want to be happy.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Oh I think so? Yeah, no exactly. I mean you
said it best right there. I mean it's it's do
what makes you happy? And do you and uh maybe
maybe just keep in mind of close family and friends,
but outside of that, do what you gotta do.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
I agree, Hey, that is eatful today. Thank you so
much for listening. So they're naughty bit nice with Robin Garrett.
