Speaker 1 (00:08):
Scannable advice.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Shooter Spice, it's nice.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Welcome to the Naughty Bernaishaw. You have, Rob Shooter and
it is Monday, which means our dear friend Garrett Vogel
joins us.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
Hey, garyl are you there.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Rob Shooter. I'm here on a Monday to cause some trouble.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
That's your middle name. You're very very good at us
in trouble. Did you have a fun weekend?

Speaker 4 (00:33):
What did you do?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
It was great?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I want to go see Barbie on ferrat which I
thought it was. It was a good movie with a
very very strong message and America Ferrara should be recognized
for a monologue that she has in the movie, probably
one of the strongest monologues in movie history, and in

(00:54):
very women empowering. And then I did something very cool yesterday.
You got to premiere a special screening of the new
teenage Mutan Ninja Turtle movie that is coming out in
a few weeks. But the interesting thing was the entire cast.
This is one of those animated movies that has about
twenty five different A list celebrities attached to it. They

(01:16):
were all supposed to be there hanging out with me.
But because of the actor strike. They all did not attend.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
So with me.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
I guess no, none of them books.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, just just some producers and directors who chose not
to speak in in solidarity.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
But still it was. It was interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
I saw Oppenheimer. It's one of the greatest movies I
have ever seen, and I with my godfather. It's that good, Wow,
that good it is?

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Are we talking three hours?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Three hour hours?

Speaker 3 (01:47):
But he flies by, like can I get a little
bit restless in my seat? But this one I sat there,
I didn't move. I don't think I had took a
breath for three hours. I sat there, absolutely amazed. And
a great weekend for movies. I'm told both of them
to broke records, smashed records did amazingly, amazingly well. So
see Barby Oppenheimer, two great movies. Kay, let's jump into

(02:09):
the show What time is it? My Friends and Times?
So the real reason Hollywood is avoiding Harry and Meghan,
it has been revealed. It's that they don't want to
alienate Prince William and Kate Middleton. Let me explain. Paula Frolic,
a friend over at News Nation who listens to the
podcast below.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Paula a Lola Lolo.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Over the weekend, she broke the news that everybody's got
a movie to sell in London or a play they
want to do in the West End, and they know
that William and Kate, who are the biggest celebrities over
there by far, they will be upset if Harry and
Meghan's friends are involved in this. So basically Paula is

(02:51):
reporting that if you want any success in the UK,
then you can't be that close to Harry and Meghan.
So really it's a business decision. It's all coming down
to money.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Now.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
The reason this story is so topical and bubbling up
is that Oprah just had her birthday party and she
did not invite the Sussexes. So she did not invite
the Sussexes to her birthday. Do you think much A
lot of the invites have.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Sort of dried up now.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I think paul is onto something, but I also think
too Hollywood loves success, and Harry and Meghan have not
been that successful in then new ventures here. I think
they thought they would be as big as Oprah, as
big as Brad Angelina. I thought they think they thought
they would be superstars. Podcast didn't do so well Netflix
show did well but not great. So I think it's

(03:42):
a combination of everything.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
What do you think do you think if they did
they were successful in the sense where it all started
with the Oprah interview that if the interview was a success,
Oprah would have invited them over.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I mean they are neighbors, for God's sakes.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
I think Oprah does so many of these interviews that
the miss stake celebrities make is when they sit down
to do a big tell all they think. They think
after two hours, three hours, they're best friends with the celebrity.
It doesn't happen done this for a long time. I
remember one of my clients did a big sit down
interview with Diane Sawyer.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
It was a huge interview.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
They flew to Prague to do it. I was on
the plane. It was a great like three days. After
three days, I thought I was best friends if Diane
Sawyer too. That's because the next weekend, guess what, Diane
Sawyer's doing another interview.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
This is her life. It's like when you go on
a morning show, people are so excited.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I was on the Today Show, I was on GMN.
I was like, so were twelve other people, and guess
what tomorrow. Twelve of the people do they have guests,
and so I think, I mean this is something that
we probably all can relate to. If you meet somebody
that's a little famous or you really just have a
little bit of star power about them. They have a

(04:55):
little bit of star power about them. Do you want
to be their best friend? Yes, so many people that
I'm best friends with. In my mind, I'm not really
best friends with them.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
I want to be like me and Margot Robbie best
friends after this weekend, they're Barbie, I.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Want to be best friends to them. So I think
there's a lot of things. But the big takeaways that
Harry and Megan are not doing.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
So well in the US. They need they need a
new project.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I don't know what that is, but they need a
new project, something to re launch their careers. Now, if
they had all the money in the world, they don't
need to work. They could disappear, they could retire. They
have a lovely life behind closed doors with their children,
but they need to make money in order to live
in the lifestyle that at least he is accustomed to,

(05:42):
not forget in the palace, like you know, Oprah lives
very well.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
He lived in a palace. He wins like he lives
a life well.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I mean, let's be honest.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Oprah's house is very close, like a step down, very
a step down from.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
A palace, but it is a step down ever to
live like that. In America, they live very well. I
think their house is ten million dollars in Montecito. It's beautiful,
but it looks like to me a really nice house
that you could get somewhere else for you know, nine
hundred thousand, just because it's in Montecito. It's worth so much.

(06:16):
It's about I love that show. Love it or listed where.
They don't tell you the town that they're in, but
you can always guess by the price of the house.
Like you can get a house for two hundred thousand
dollars and sometimes four hundred thousand in New York City,
you're looking at a studio apartment for five hundred thousand dollars.
So it depends where you live here. They live in
a really nice place. I want them to do well.
We root for them on this show, but they're definitely

(06:39):
going through a struggle. And now it's been reported that
the reason Hollywood has given them a cold shoulder is
because of William and Kate. Our question is a little
bit cheeky. Who would you rather be friends with? Harry
and Megan William and Kate know? Go and vote on
our Twitter page at nine rob a Facebook page is

(07:02):
naughty gossip and be sure.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
To check that King Charles your results. Hey, what are
you working on?

Speaker 2 (07:09):
By the way, this is like King King Charles. He's
sitting on the throne right now. Who do you pick?
Do you pick yourself? Which son do you love the most?

Speaker 4 (07:16):
I think he loves I think he loves Harry.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
All right, Let's move over to Drake. So right now,
Drake has been taking over New York City. He performed
a bunch of shows in Brooklyn, now moved over to
Madison Square Garden. But the interesting thing says that he
people ask why he hasn't gotten married. They've questioned why
he hasn't gotten married, and Drake says it's a it's
a thing of ancient times, which I understand where he's

(07:43):
coming from. It just it doesn't sound right personally as
a married person. But I get why he says that.
Though he calls marriage a thing of ancient times, I
don't know. It just seems like a thing of ancient
times or something I will eventually, he said.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
I don't think I can offer somebody what they'd be
looking for, just consistency. I think my life, my work
is my priority, which is true. The man is touring
making music every second of the day that he's awake.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
But he uh, he was.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Quick to shut down a commitment that he refuses to
settle down in a bid to continue to sleep around.
I mean, but he has been able to date a
lot of people. I mean, let's run through the list.
Rashida James, Tyra Banks, Sizza, Julia Fox, and Rihanna. But
let me tell you this, if Rihanna somewhere down the
road becomes single again, Drake will drop everything. Remember remember

(08:37):
the Remember the time he literally showed up to an
award show and a tuxedo to present her with flowers
for one of the awards.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Like I think.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Drake and Rihanna, Drake is Rihanna's person, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Maybe that's why I got marriage. I'd love it if
he said that the one got away. If you want marriage,
I'm a fan of it. And it's a gay guy.
We had to fight very hard to ever be allowed
to marry, to get married. When I was little, I
never thought i'd get married because it just wasn't in
the cards. It wasn't an option. So the world has
certainly progressed. But I do understand this.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
A little bit.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Some people I know who are not married, they're really
focused on their work and it's not something we should
feel sorry for or they made a mistake.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
This was a choice.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
I have friends who decided I really want to have
a magnificent career, a real extraordinary career, and in order
for me to do that, I feel as if I've
got to do it twenty four seven, and this is
their full time job. They enjoy working. There's nothing wrong here.
They earn a ton of money, they're really successful. I
think you do get to make a choice in life.
You chose Garrett to get married.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
I do, and especially knowing what Drake would have probably
had to go through, especially on this over the weekend
where he was up on stage, I believe in Brooklyn,
and a woman threw her thirty six sea bra up
on stage, and you know, rightfully, so he looked at
it and he's like, oh, it's not nice. If I
were to come home after working like that, and that

(10:03):
clip is all over the internet. I would have questions like,
why did you sniff it?

Speaker 1 (10:09):
You know what I mean? So I understand why not married.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
I think he's adorable. I just love him.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Maybe, maybe, maybe there is somebody out there for you.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Jamie Foxx is speaking out for the first time since
his estory health scare, saying he went to hell and back.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
In a new video, he's really crying.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
He's tearful, holding back the tears as he talks about
this hellish experience. He posted it on Instagram. He said, quote,
I went through something I thought I would never go through.
He added that he was not blind or paralyzed. That
was the big rumor out there that he had had
a stroke. Now in the video, he doesn't actually reveal

(10:51):
what happened, but he does say that he's so emotional
about this that if you see him out and he
bursts into tears.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
That's who he's gonna be for a little time.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Also being Jamie, he laughed he he had some fun
with it. He cracked a joke about it, and he
said that he's so grateful to his sister and his
daughter for saving his life and not only saving his
life but keeping this whole finger secret. He said they
were very very tight lipped and that nobody knows much

(11:24):
about this because they quote protected him. He's got a
really close in a circle, which is why still we
don't know exactly what happened. What do you think about this, Garrett?

Speaker 4 (11:36):
Should he have said? Should he have just revealed what
it is? Or it's his secret to keep? What do
you think?

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Well, I think we were talking earlier that I think
he's waiting for that moment where Oprah, you know, calls
up and says, hey, let's sit down and chat.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
You know that.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
I oh, well, And I'm sure that they're waiting for
the right time because again, like, yes, does.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
The world does you?

Speaker 2 (11:58):
And I want to know what happened yet, But remember
this is a business, right, So what is going to
put Jamie Fox in the right position?

Speaker 1 (12:05):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
I think he wants to do it on his terms.
Hence why his daughter, his sister kept it such a
secret and no one else knew because they knew that
there's a story to be told.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
It just has to be at the right moment. You know,
it might not be right now.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Hence why they put him on a boat for the
first time, because you can't really talk to Jamie and
he's traveling on a boat, right, And even the statement
too like where And I also understand why he didn't
want to speak out or have any type of picture shown,
because he goes, I have tubes in me, Like I
don't think you or I want to have tubes shown
as we're sitting laying in a hospital bed not knowing

(12:42):
any answer. So it's you know, I think he has
the power and he will eventually tell It's just a
matter of way.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Yeah, you don't want to be that cynical about it,
but I think you're right here. He is sitting on
a primetime special. Now he could sit down for two
hours on NBC at eight o'clock and do this story
we all want to know. Predict he'll tell it when
he has a movie or something to promote. Next time
he has a huge movie coming down the movie circuit.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Maybe he's the movie, the movie that's coming out, the
movie that he was filming with Cameron Dean.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
At that moment. And I can't blame him for this,
it's his story. But I gotta say, and we do
this for a living. His family are the ones that
have kept this so tight. We do not know really
any details. We have a lot of suspicions, but we
don't actually know the details.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Okay, quickly, before we get a break, Garrett, what do
you got?

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Ethan Slater is Ariana cos star. Ariana Grande's co star
in the movie Wicked that comes out next year and
part two. Who knows now because of the actors strike.
But Ethan Slater's wife was blindsided by his relationship with
with Ariana Grande. As we all learned last week, So
Ariana Grande is dating her married Wicked co star Ethan

(13:50):
and Slater and his wife Lily was completely blindsided. According
to a source familiar with the situation, it's horrible. They
were high school sweethearts. They have a baby. We're just
talking about marriage. She's a wreck, which was told to
page six. So Ethan and Jay they have been married
since twenty eighteen. They just celebrated ten years together. This

(14:13):
Ariana Grande, she's very she has to be very persuasive,
Rob Shooter, Like, let's I mean, if we go through
the list of people she has dated or been engaged
or married to, they've all been in relationships prior to
her dating, like you know, so who knows here? But
it's it's just so interesting because because Ethan was saying

(14:35):
Happy Mother's Day, no more than a month and a
half ago, they were celebrating anniversaries, and of course he's
gone private on social media.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
We have not heard anything.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Dalton Gomez, Ariana Grande's now ex husband, wanted to make
the marriage work, but she seemed to have moved on.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
I wonder to who. So there's so much going.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
On, it's messy. This is what happens when people break
up and they jump into too quickly. Maybe they jumped
into something before they broke up, is what's been implied here.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
It's heartbreaking. I know him a little bit.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
He's a Broadway guy, and that's why I think the
two of them have really clicked because basically she is
a global superstar, but in her heart is still a
Broadway nerdy type of person. So I think they clicked
over that. I want to wish him the best, but
when you do these big moves, it does always affect
somebody else.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
I think you can do it.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
With the biggest pop superstar out there.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Right, you can do it in a way that doesn't
have to hurt other people, but being blind sided by this.
Can you imagine after ten years with this guy who
they both sort of struggled, your husband's got a movie
with Ariana grand It's wicked. This could be his big break.
You know, the whole family is excited about this, and
now that family.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
Is no more. Oh bit sad, very sad.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Imagine imagine giving the baby a bath like you're you're
you're the wife, You're at home, given the baby a
bath after a long day, and then you put the
baby down, you know, after after a baby has a
bottle to go to bed, and you're just scrolling social
media for.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Heartbreak, just heartbreak. It breaks my heart.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Okay, we're gonna take a quick break and we will
be right back.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
Welcome back to the nautuper Nihow. I'm not gonna shooting
with our friendly Garrett Vogel.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Hey, Garrett, let's get to the pole laws share with
talks for Ariana Grande dating her Wicked costar Ethan Slater
after her split with Dalton Gomes.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Is it too soon and let's have a look?

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Said? Yes, too soon? I agree. Don't forget to vote
on today's pole. Go to a Twitter page who do
you want to be friends with? Harry and Meghan or
William and Kate. Go to our Twitter package at Naughty
Nice Rabbi Facebook page's Naughty Gossip and be sure to
check back to my Road to hear your results. And

(16:53):
now it's time for a Nicest of the Day.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Still, Lena Gomez has been talking about what she wants
most for her thirty first birthday.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
You just celebrated your thirty first birthday, Rob Shooter.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
So Selena Gomes took to Instagram over the weekend to
celebrate her birthday, telling fans the one thing she wants most,
and she says, I am thankful so much in my
life for One of the things I am most thankful
for is the work I've been able to do with
Rare Impact Fund through Rare Beauty. So because of you,
we've been able to raise awareness and increase access to

(17:29):
mental health services for young people.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
This is my true passion in life.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
And Selena Gomez also said she wants people to get
her a gift for If they want to get her
a gift, donate to the Rare Impact Fund that will
mean most to her. If you have the means, consider
donating to help us make a difference.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
I love you all and you know that it is
the best gift.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
And as we know, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder
in twenty twenty, had passed feelings not wanting to be alive,
and she suffered from mental breakdowns, as she revealed while
she was on tour. So this is something near and
dear to her heart. And especially Selena Gomans's fans. They're
so strong when she speaks, they listen, so I'm sure
they're going to raise allah.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
It's going to make a difference.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
So I've adopted this for my birthday when my friends,
when my family asked me what I want, I give
them my favorite charities.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
I have a two or three.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Think about that now, so that you've got them in
your pocket, you've got them in your mind. If somebody
asked you who they should donate to, have two or
three charities ready to go. One of mine is an
animal shelter. Like, think of a few charities so that
when people ask you what you want for your birthday,
you know immediately where to send them. It's a lovely
thing to do, Okay. I noticed the dayty Naughty Sophia

(18:40):
Viagara felt stifled in the marriage by unsupportive Joe Manganella,
so the Joe's ann naughtyist of the day. If indeed
this is true, Page ticks are reporting though within the
marriage they grew apart because she felt stifled in the
relationship by an unsupportive partner. This is the key here.
Marriages cannot work unless you support one another. Insiders of

(19:03):
saying that Joe didn't care for the things she cared about.
He wasn't interested in the subjects she was interested in,
and that secretly they grew apart. Maybe not so secret
now we all know. When you start not discussing the
little things in life, those little things become big things,
and then you're excluding one another. Talk to each other,

(19:25):
be supportive of one another. That's how you keep.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
A marriage happy. Then with a moment of rob.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
You're gonna rob oh it ties together. Show interest in
all people, not just those that you want something from.
Making people feel important is not only the right thing
to do, it's the smart thing to do because you
never know who you are talking to.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
I try to make everybody I come.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Into contact with feel important, and some of those people,
guess what, have turned out to be very important and
have changed my career.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Be nice.

Speaker 1 (20:02):
If you're welcome, you're welcome.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Rab I was nice to you. You make people feel special.
Don't just talk to who you think is the boss,
talk to everybody.

Speaker 4 (20:12):
Be nice. I promise you.

Speaker 3 (20:14):
Yes, not only is it the right thing to do,
it's the smart thing to do too. Okay, everybody, That
is it for today, And thank you so much for
