Speaker 1 (00:03):
What would you talk about on your on your podcast?

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Fine morning show.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Welcome, it's the fifteen minute morning show podcast, which is
generally generally run five minutes. In fact, we received a
great text earlier, Hey, you should just give up on
this half assed podcast. At this point, it's abundantly clear
none of you want to do it.

Speaker 4 (00:35):
I wonder what would make someone think that. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
So anyway, they woke up early, they send us a text,
they shit all over us, and now we're trying to
get them on the phone and they're on answering that's well.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
They said that their household is still asleep.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
A bathroom go outside.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Yeah, if you're gonna shot on us, do it in
the bathroom, right.

Speaker 6 (00:53):
And if you're going to say something, you got to
back it up.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
I think you actually.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
I think the text is funny. It's abundantly clear none
of you give a shit.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
I just liked that this person because it's six thirty
their time, woke up. First thing Santosa shitty text message. Yeah,
that was the first I chose. I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Hello, I tend to love them. I will defend them
if we ever get through them.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
And there's someone else I want to defend this morning,
and he's sitting here in the podcast.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
It's our own coaster boy, Josh.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Josh Y Josh speaking getting ship on. I've arrived.

Speaker 7 (01:24):
He told you what you no idea what he wasn't listening.
He says, he doesn't know what you're going to say.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Well, I hope your two ply today, Josh.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Oh my god, he's cracking his knuckles.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Let's go. What do you got? What are you? Get ready?

Speaker 1 (01:38):
All right, Nate, let them go. It's okay.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Let me.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
I need for I need for you to concentrate because
this has to do with you.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Wake up their whole house.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
All right.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
So about a year ago, we went to this incredible
organization's dinner and fundraiser and they were having an auction.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
One of the items up for.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Auction was a villa, a large villa available for a
large group of people, and they had multiple cities around
the world to choose from. All right, So Nate decides
to speak to a lot of us at the table
and say, hey, who's in. If you guys agree to
split this with me, we can all get this villa.
We can help the we can help contribute, we can

(02:17):
all go on vacation together and the following people. Seven
people said they were in and they would be a
part of the total bill be Gandia. The seven people are.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Josh, myself, Diamond, Andrew, Nate Scary and producer Sam.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Yeah, here you go, seven people.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
We gave him a verbal.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Everyone at the table just listed said yes, we'll be
a part of this.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
So Nate was the highest bid, he got the villa,
and now they need to got it to so Nate's
out a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, well all right, take it over.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
So in essence we.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
Are the highest bid, but now there's issues with people
not why and I don't know this. Josh, are you
still in?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Well let's discuss, let's open some negotiations.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
You left the conversation and the group text message and
said we were going to meet about this at ten
o'clock this morning.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Well, okay, so what does it cost? Who's do you
pay a little bit more? Since you're you're the hot
shot that stood up in bid. I mean you get
all the credit in the room.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
The model service, and the flashing sparkles.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
So you stand up.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
And wait, wait, there's something else to consider, Like there's
usually a bedroom that is the primary bedroom.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
That's nicer than all the other ones in these fields.
Take it, so maybe that person should what take it?

Speaker 5 (03:49):
I'll sleep on the couch. I don't care.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I did nay. You are the head of this operation, correct,
so you probably will get the primary bedroom.

Speaker 5 (03:58):
We can draw straws. I don't care.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
So he got the fanfare in the primary bedroom.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
I like the argument that Nate's gonna pay more, but another.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Thing to consume. Go ahead, then we'll get to the
cost in a minute. Go ahead, gandhi.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
No, I just like that Nate could pay more on this.
This is now even more enticing than it was before.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
All right, I don't want to say what the total
amount was, but if you divide it by seven versus
divide it by six, is it really that big of
a difference.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Yeah, it's significant, I think so.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Yeah, it's significant.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Okay, all right, Well that's why we agreed on it, right,
I mean, because we all looked at each other, did
we all agree?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Well, what you were at that table? Were you saying
the moment.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
We're in, Yeah, that's how that's how auctions work.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
In we were just trying to push him over the
hump to like, he saw he wanted to bid. So
we're waking there.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
We're telling me to do it, so you can sit
back and do exactly what you're doing now. Is laugh
that this guy's stuck with the pill.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Are we actually gonna be able to go on this?

Speaker 5 (04:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Okay, Well seven seven people in one on one trip
is it's difficult to make that happen.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Okay. So here's the fact is it.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Needs to be a work week if we're going to
do this.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
During the war, we all have the same vacation.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
We all get the same vacation.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
That's why it would be easy.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Did you have to pay for it yet?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
Oh you're discussing.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Oh so you didn't have to.

Speaker 7 (05:22):
Like, you know, they didn't charge your card.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Already to make sure they stay.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
That was a year ago.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
I'm surprised.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
Well, no, no, no, because if we're doing this separately,
it's a tax credit.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Right, Okay, I got you.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
They're waiting individuals, they're waiting for their money, and you know.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
These kids need you.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Now we're in default or we're in like arrears, right
or something.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Okay, but wait a minute, Okay, so the facts have
been given, I do recall the conversations you were having
Nate with all of the above, and everyone listed, including Josh, agreed, Yes,
we're in it.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
We'll all go together. I saw the whole thing happen,
all right. You were the sole bidder. Ghandhi did not bid.
I did not see her bid.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Now, with all of that in play, there are other
characters here. There's Danielle here, there's me here, there's Garrett,
there is Scotti bee people who are not involved. Let's
all of us take a vote as to what should
happen moving forward, because we've got to pay this bill
because it's.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
For a very important organization. Okay, I say, Gandhi, what Gandhi?
What say you?

Speaker 4 (06:30):
I have said from the beginning, I'm one hundred percent
in for what I committed to be in to do.
Just tell me one, I asked Nate the next day,
how can I pay you?

Speaker 7 (06:38):
What do I need to do for this?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
True?

Speaker 8 (06:39):
Nate?

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Oh yeah, Yeah, there's Scary and Gandhi have been the two.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah. Ever, welch on a bet. I never back out
of anything. I don't flake on people.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
I put my money on my mouth. I got my
mind on my money and my money on my mind. Okay,
So what about you, Garrett, what do you think? I
think you're divided by six at this point, Josh isn't going.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Wait, so you think you just let him out off,
even though okay.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
To pay, You're gonna force him to go and then
he's gonna be miserable there because the time of his life.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Yeah. Yeah, that doesn't sound very convincing.

Speaker 7 (07:16):
I think that I'm gonna have to go. I'm Josh
is not gonna go, and so I'm with Garrett. I
think at this point, you guys just have to cut
your losses. If you need to book something and get
something on the cards, if you can't find another person
to take his spot, then I think you may just
have to do it.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Not how auctions were, I know, but he's not gonna go.
I think he is gonna go. I have faith in
Josh that he's gonna go, and he's working around with everybody.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
I'm also getting worried that Sam may also be.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Sam's not going.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Oh wow.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
I have a suggestion, what if what was Scotty here next?
What Scotty? What if we find a place that the
entire show wants.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
To go to and we could all fit at, and
that there's no place what there is no place that
that place does not exist, But go ahead.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
No, I'm just going to say that way we can
all go and it'll be it'll be much cheaper for everybody.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Like that.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
I would do that.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I'm not going to give up my vacation.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I'm planning to go with you guys, because you guys
cannot play by the rules that you set forth.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
We can do it during a work week.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
We cont we have broadcast from them.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Does anyone want to step up in Josh's place? Any individual?

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Garrett were going? Where is this going?

Speaker 4 (08:27):
We haven't decided any of that yet.

Speaker 5 (08:29):
That's part of the discussion.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Yeah, let's discuss.

Speaker 8 (08:33):
Down.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Sam.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Are you are you in or out of this auction
h house the villa because we're having a problem here.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
No, I'm still in.

Speaker 8 (08:43):
But I did say the night of as long as
we don't pick the Furthest place, because I can't buy
a ticket to like Italy.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
You know what I mean. I think the Furthest was Australia.

Speaker 8 (08:52):
I can't do that either, but like we got to
keep the ticket price in mind, like I committed, I
got to do it. Let me go.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
She can go as far as philing.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
I like that, she's committed. She's committed. Now here's a ners.
Let me throw something else out there. Let's say someone
of the seven decides they cannot go. Why don't we
make it their responsibility to choose their alternate person.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
So Josh would send someone in his place, and that
would pay the money.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
I don't think that's dangerous.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Yeah, because Josh is gonna go, like, pick someone down
the hallway who knows we all hate, and he's gonna
be like, oh, go have a good time. And you
are plotting on it right now. I see it in
your little.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
I would try to sell the trip for more than
I got.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
A question better.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Being, maybe a financial reason.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Why are you out?

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Why are you backing out?

Speaker 2 (09:44):
I'm not who said I'm backing out?

Speaker 1 (09:46):
This is the conversations that we had. Why are we
having this conversation? If he never backed out?

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Wait a minute, that joke, Josh, it was it was
It was a way to open negotiations, negotiations.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
If everyone is paying the same amount, that negotiate this.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Well, did we decide on where we're going. That's a
big part of it. That's a big part of it.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Well, okay, I don't you don't you see his point
in Australia, don't you see his point? If you guys
are gonna choose a place you all like, but he doesn't,
why should he be forced to go?

Speaker 4 (10:18):
No, we all have to we all have to come
to a conclusion that we're all happy with. I also,
I believe, and I'm not one hundred percent sure here,
that we can split off into smaller houses. So let's
say Josh doesn't want to travel with Scary, just hypothetically
that he has a problem, Then then Josh and Andrew
could like go do their own thing.

Speaker 6 (10:38):
I'm pretty sure that those are mutations that we don't
have fifteen minutes that we won't be able to discuss.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Also, what year and what week of what year we
have to agree on the vacation time that we're gonna take.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
I think that they're gonna want you to take it
as soon as possible.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
Because do you bring does Robin get to go?

Speaker 4 (10:58):
It depends on the house that we have to depends
on because some of them have like a capacity of
ten and fourteen. But I thought we were going to
go for fourteen, so everyone could.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
I be here to make it a little bit lower
for for.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
The room.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
Know that the amount was for you and a guest. Yeah,
so get find.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Somebody, Josh, Josh, take me as yours. Your is your
plus one. I'll go.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
You want to trale believe you're paying out?

Speaker 1 (11:27):
No, no, Josh is paying my way. I'm not paying
my way.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
That would be hilarious. I want to see the two
of you sharing a room.

Speaker 8 (11:33):
I got it.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I got your villa. If you got my flight?

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Where first class? Josh, baby?

Speaker 4 (11:40):
Okay with Australia.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 5 (11:45):
Let's go to the Boa.

Speaker 7 (11:47):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
So so Josh, you all along. You've meant to be
a part of this. You're just waiting for the destination
to be named.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
Yeah, it's where do you want to go? Like if
you are the option? No, no, no, no, just like
boom you we could find a place that's okay.

Speaker 1 (12:02):
I don't think you can.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
It depends on the time.

Speaker 6 (12:05):
There were only a certain number of there's other Costa
Rica was in the mix, Coast, Raco Coast regulary or
April like, but I don't want to go to Costa
Rica for a two week vacation.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
I don't you know, it's like gonna be really hot
if it's during the summer.

Speaker 7 (12:20):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, have all Disney on the list because
he's in for Disney.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Are you in for Disney?

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Not in August?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Wait in August? It wasn't to be honest. Some days
we're hotter here than in Disney.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
There is another thing that you guys don't even know about.
Gandhi actually been on another trip to Bali and her
friends are f and her.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Over really but you know what, I yeah, go ahead
all this so now.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
You should open that up. You should have your own
auction right here on the morning show and see who
wants to go. I'd go back to Bally in a heartbeat.
Damn man, can I bring you?

Speaker 4 (13:01):
I spoke to Josh about it, and I thought he
was in not one hundred percent store, But I that
one I bit on myself. I didn't really ask anybody
to go in with me, but a couple of the
people who were going to come are now not going
to come.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
You should have gone, You should have gone last last time.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Yeah, I'm gonna go.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
All right, Well, we've got lots to do. This is
just another argument amongst the ranks of the Elvis Drane
Morning Show. We didn't even get an answer, yeah, we
can't any I think we are.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
No.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
The answer is, I think you guys need to discuss
dates and and in locations.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
At least you know Josh is going theory in theory,
I'm in.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
That is old water.

Speaker 6 (13:38):
That Look at this half fast podcast only made it,
made it to fifteen minutes.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Say if we did it, I don't.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Think you can call this one.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
I used my full as recording the listener the half
Assed Podcast.

Speaker 7 (13:51):
We did it?

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Can we call it that and then just suck at
it whenever.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Favor of changing the name to the half Ass Podcast.
Done deal. If you're a pird fucker, we'll see you
next time.

Speaker 7 (14:09):
We have to make sure there's not another podcast with
that name.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
No, not at all.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
Okay, we'll see you next time on the half Ass Podcast.

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
