Speaker 1 (00:00):
By from the Down's Appliances Studios, where Pittsburgh shops for appliances.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
This is w DVD Pittsburgh.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
It was definitely a violent attack, and I don't know
what the hell caused it, but it is very weird
that Sanchez's baby mama is like, Nope, not surprised in
the least bit that this happened.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
Yeah, right, that was alarmer and pleading not guilty. Right,
you know we got video.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Right, when you're rich, there's always a chance that's what
you have to do, right, I guess.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
So, but then you know the judge like dirty Sanchez
is herself and now she's so she's out, she's out,
she's hot, So then somebody else is in.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
They're going to the backup judge.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I mean, this is it's Flacco.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Yea god, Flacco's doings.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
I'm studying the case on the drive from Cincinnati.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Uh, you know in the first half I tried this
case before.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
They'll be shaky on the first half of the trial,
but they anticipate second half of the trial they'll be
really good.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Brandy Bellman and the DVE Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
There has to be drugs.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
It can't just be he drinks and turns into something there, right,
it's got to be like a bath salt situation. Well
or the CTE Oh yeah, never forget, it's always an option. Yeah,
the ironic statement never forgets CTE.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
Abby's got your news.

Speaker 6 (01:25):
Now there's this hour brought by Window Nation mix up
sunshine and cloud to high sixty eight.

Speaker 7 (01:30):
Today, somen likely will be revolted by this idea.

Speaker 6 (01:32):
But on Saturday, Kennywood is going to have five contestants
compete in the West Mifflin Amusement Park's first Phantom Scorpion Showdown.

Speaker 7 (01:40):
It's going to feature.

Speaker 6 (01:40):
Five contestants seeing who can be the first to finish
an order of Kennywood's potato patch fries topped with a
dried scorpion.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
What and Kennywood's prepared? I don't understand. What's the purpose?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 8 (01:56):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:56):
No, all, no, all Once Kennywood representative announced at the
start of the contest, the first entrant to eat the
entire dried scorpion and fries and stick out their clean
tongue will be declared the winner.

Speaker 7 (02:13):
If you throw up.

Speaker 9 (02:17):
SAPIs, you have to eat all of clouds wind blown dry.

Speaker 7 (02:23):
If you eat.

Speaker 6 (02:25):
All of the scorpions and you stick out your tongue,
you get disqualified. But according to pest control company Terminix,
most scorpions are between one and five inches in length,
although some can be as large as eight inches long.
Whoever is the first to finish their scorpion top Potato
Patch Fries will win two twenty twenty six Gold season

(02:49):
passes and a prize pack that includes a hoodie, hat
and drawstring bag.

Speaker 7 (02:54):
I'm going to need more than that.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah, the anti venom ready.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
All participants will receive two Chills Speedy passes to skip
the line at each Sinister Haunt found throughout the parks.
Fan of Fallfest, yeah again, this sounds fun, but I
would need more prizes than that. It starts at seven
pm at the Kennyville Stage.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Well, I don't understand what the scorpion has to do
with anything spooky season Randy.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
But scorpions spooky like? Yeah, I guess I.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Thought spiders were more spooky.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
I've eaten bugs from let me let me be clear,
go on record, like there there are earthworms and other
bugs that have lots of protein in them, and chefs
will you know turn to those as you know, there's
this whole culinary movement sure towards that being the additional
source of protein.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Going forward, it might be more sustainable.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
You can't even like crickets and earthworms and stuff like
they toast them and it's it doesn't taste like anything,
and they grind them up also, so it's like coffee
grounds on whatever you're eating. But a scorpion, I don't
understand that. That's not exactly to Bill's point, one of
the symbols of Halloween, like, do you have.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Your no scorpion lawn ornament out?

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
I thought it was like.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
A new pepper or seasoning that they're trying on the
fries where.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
It's like no, I think.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
I thought it was like an atomic sauce or something,
you know how they have those crazy wing flavors.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Yeah, but there's no like scorpion ride that this is
like no co inciding with or anything.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
It's just kind of a weird, weird thing.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
It's just fear factor.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Thing, you know.

Speaker 6 (04:45):
Yeah, it's a fear factor thing that maybe coincides with
again all the Phantom fall Fest stuff.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
It's just spooky and creepy and gross.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
And I mean, if you like Kenny Wood a year past,
that's not a terrible.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
No, it's not.

Speaker 7 (05:02):
I don't want to eat a scorpion.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Under any circe. I think scorpion is pretty easy. I
would imagine it's just gonna be crunchy. It's just a
matter of how quick can you eat the fries. And
that's the other thing. If you ate the scorpion but
didn't win, that would really piss you off.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
That's what I always thought about fear factor.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
I'm like, God, it's gotta be tough to be the
guy in second place.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Oh, you did the thing, but you got nothing.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Yea guzzlin donkey and get nothing.

Speaker 7 (05:30):
Well, okay, this one's gonna be tough. I gotta be honest.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
I don't know what I can say on the air
because sometimes I think I can stay stuff and then
well we'll to me.

Speaker 7 (05:41):
You know what a murkin is, right do? I?

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Great pubic wig?

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Well, now you can wear one under your clothes all
the time thanks to.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
The incredible imagination Kim.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Kardashian, her skims brand just released a line of micro
string songs with though pubic hair attached. Finally, so there
are twelve to choose from in different shades of brown, blonde, black,
and red.

Speaker 7 (06:10):
With either curly or straight hair.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Is it actual Kardashian hair?

Speaker 3 (06:15):
I mean there are AMENI and I bet I would
bet they regenerate quickly.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
That's a great god hair despair.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Yeah, they could shear that Wookie like over and over.
I would imagine just keep growing. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Meanwhile, have you seen that Wookie? No? Y, which one
is she anymore?

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Chloe?

Speaker 5 (06:31):
Yeah, she's She looks like a different person. You wouldn't
even recognize her. She looks like Kim. Now they all
look like Kim.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
There is something very substancy about that whole family, as
we were talking about earlier.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
Yeah, I had somebody that was texting me the most
recent photos of Chris Jenner and I it's crazy.

Speaker 7 (06:50):
Yeah, it's not good.

Speaker 4 (06:51):
She looks like she's thirty.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
Yes, I don't like it. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
But what is this? What purpose is this serving? What
we're sure what client tell is this servant to have
a hairy thong?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
By the way, didn't Harry Thong play the detective on
Hawaii five O?

Speaker 7 (07:04):
They were in the coffee house a couple of weeks ago.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Great band. I love the Harry Thong song Growing Up.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Harry Thong does sound like somebody, let me.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
See that Harry Thong, that Harry songs, that song Tongu Kong.
I like it when the hair.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Goes this just looks like something that would get caught
in your zipper if you were wearing.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Yeah, and then also what is the I'm not exactly
sure what the aesthetic purpose of this is. If you
were to be seen by someone you were being amorous
with and you reveal that you have like a hairy
pair of underwear. I mean, it's just like just kidding,
like I don't like, yeah, pink a boo, But then
do you do like the double shift on them? And

(07:43):
then you're like and then you pull it to the side,
and then all of a sudden it's like, oh, still.

Speaker 4 (07:46):
Have a boom? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Which one is mine? And which one is not? Always?
Always the black, never the bread always.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I don't I don't understand this one, but I don't
understand any of the stuff that they do.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
It's like the goop egg in all of those.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
Yeah, this does seem very Gwyneth like.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Yeah, yeah, it costs you thirty two dollars for a
pair of these.

Speaker 7 (08:07):
You can make it at.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Home stunt panties.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
I wish this was real hair, is all I'm gonna say.
That would really make it make sense to me. Otherwise,
I don't understand why you'd want synthetic pubes.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
They're all sold out.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
All sold out, of course they are.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
You know what I was thinking about the other day
is that Skims they basically just remixed spanks for yeah,
hot girls, is what they did. I mean, it's no
different all of the stuff that Kim is putting out.
It's just like, it looks like they've got the earth
tone colors and it's the Kardashian selling you the thing.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
But if I was the woman who started spanks, I'd
be pissed.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
She's like, I was gonna put hair on the underwear.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
Dammit spanks. But Kim's equals Skims.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
Spanks for not even trying to hide it.

Speaker 7 (09:00):
How very ed gain of her.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
That is kind of it is very serial killer ish.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
It's weird.

Speaker 6 (09:11):
The Kardashian that we woke them all up this morning.
Kylie Jenner, who I believe is still dating Tim Shallow, timotates.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Every time pictures of them in the public, She doesn't.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
She could not look more disinterested in whatever event they
are at, and he's way into it, and she's just
sitting there like a billionaire, like why am I doing this?

Speaker 6 (09:36):
You know, Like he's sitting there making up a rap
or something, and she's just like, you're so funny, I.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
Love you dead behind the eyes imitation, you're so hot.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Meanwhile, she's a billionaire.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
Very much, is like she doesn't want to go to
a Yankees game. That proves it can't buy you happiness.
But she's a pop star now and it's weird. Yeah
she can, oh yeah, and she's trying to be it's
not going great.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (10:07):
She recorded a song called fourth Strike and I'm gonna
play it for you, and I don't know what part
Jacob grabbed because I told him.

Speaker 7 (10:19):
It's an atrocity. Grab any one minute of it that
you like, so go ahead.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
I tried to grab the worst of it for you guys.

Speaker 7 (10:26):
Is there such a thing?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Go for it?

Speaker 8 (10:29):
She's getting Where is a person involved in this?

Speaker 7 (10:38):
Exactly? Strike to strike? I just wanted to tell you
you saw touch me baby?

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Tell me.

Speaker 7 (10:58):
No, I don't think so good?

Speaker 10 (11:00):
Right o?

Speaker 4 (11:01):
God?

Speaker 2 (11:02):
That me like, well, because it's you can make money
off of it.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
It's not like she has anything else to do any
desire to actually be an artist.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
You can tell like.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
Putting a lot of effort into it. What is it
like Brewster's Millions where he gets like the Yankees to
come play as softball team, Like she's just doing.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
You can fund anything you want to do.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
Did you ever see the sc TV sketch where Eugene
Levy does Perry Como and he does all the but
he just does it.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
He's asleep on every song and.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Like he's on a pal and he's like doing disco
songs and he's like, uh uh uh. It's kind of
like that. She sounded like she was like on thorazine there, yeah,
till it's that was medicine.

Speaker 2 (12:02):
Time Time to go back into your room, Kylie.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
In your mega mansion.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Somebody is ripping her off to the tune of Mega millions, right,
There's no way that she has liked control over as
much money as surrounding her.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
You know, it's it's Chris, it's the mom. Is that yeah,
cartel with a K?

Speaker 6 (12:25):
Well, yeah, she's calling herself King Kylie on this one.

Speaker 7 (12:32):
One person called her King auto tune.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
She's getting roasted online for the amount of electronic enhancement.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
I actually thought that was a bad dub when I
was first listening to it and then realized there was
just that much auto tune in it.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (12:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:48):
My favorite comment is just somebody simply wrote, please unrelease this.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
Yeah, this is.

Speaker 4 (12:54):
The album has hair on it, Like, what the hell?

Speaker 3 (12:57):
This is not even beautiful poop out of a butt,
which is my favorite review of a movie ever. This
is beautiful poop out of a butt. I don't know
if people enjoy their stuff ironically or what it is,
but it seems like they are the goose that laid
the hairy egg over and over again.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
Yeah, I don't know either.

Speaker 6 (13:18):
The only time that I ever really watched Keeping Up
with the Kardashians is whenever I used to go to
a gym that had the treadmills with the television on it,
and there were only so many channels.

Speaker 7 (13:32):
That you could get.

Speaker 6 (13:33):
E was one of them, and sometimes at the time
of day that I would go to the gym, there
was just only so many things on that would be
of interest, and it was either that or another HGTV remodel,
And after a while you just feel too broke to
watch those, and I'm like fine, I'm watching the Kardashians
and I would watch it, and I just I never

(13:54):
ever could find who it was for, and I just
it's not for me.

Speaker 7 (13:59):
I really wasn't for for hot.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Women with no personality.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Is some lady like barely moving on a treadmill next
to you with hair on her tights?

Speaker 5 (14:09):
No, No, I mean like the people that are watching
that are are vacant hot chicks.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Yeah, it's it's vapid the entire It's like the very
definition of the word.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
It's just everybody has started to look the same like
Kim with her body type. Every single person now is
in the gym doing nothing but ass all day, every day.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
To the extent bill that in my gym they have
installed two more of those, like the thrusting, the hip
thrustations where it's like you get underneath the bar on
the floor. Yeah, and then you get underneath it and
the heavens And let me tell you they hate when

(14:56):
I take that over.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
But you know what I have, I'm doing ten sad. Okay,
you do have a dumb truck.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
Look all for God, all for you God, All for
you God, All for you God.

Speaker 2 (15:09):
I always tell people, can you get out of the way.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
I'm filming, guys. I'm filming, guys. I'm using the security cameras.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Guys, I'm filming.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
I have a ring cam.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Oh I don't there. I mean, they are the most
popular girls in the gym. Every dude tries to talk
to these girls that are just like they spend their
entire workout hip thrusting, hip thrusting.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
It's laun I don't know pants that way, you have
to go to the store.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Sidney Crosby goes to Yeah, custom made pants. That's right.

Speaker 9 (15:46):
Just ass Crosby does have to get custom made pants.
I know because of his thighs, his monster thighs and
arse trum.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Now we're late.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
But that's what worries about Caleb Johnson is. I think
he needs to have a bigger dump truck going on.
I think that that's hurting him. I think he's got
to build up. I'm not even kidding. Who are you
talking to people in the gym?

Speaker 7 (16:14):
My sources at the gym.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
Because he gets brought down too easy. He's got to
have more lower body strength. Okay, that's my very thrust
from Peanut Heaven Analysis.

Speaker 2 (16:24):
But he had a better week this past week.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
Jalen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell look to be a pretty
decent one two punch right now?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Serviceable? Will it be enough?

Speaker 3 (16:33):
On short rest against the Bengals Thursday night in Cincinnati.
Tomlin traditionally not good on Thursday nights. Aaron Rodgers pretty
good on Thursday nights. An eight to fifteen start for
two forty year old quarterbacks. I don't like it, but
late night Mark madd will joined us later on this morning.
He's been under the weather and I feel bad. I

(16:55):
hope Mark's okay to do that hit later this morning.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Yeah too.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
We'll rate our respect algorithms for you coming up at
eight forty five, and Mike has the full report coming
up next at Steelers Bengals tomorrow night in eight fifteen.
Kickoff means a four o'clock start, at four o'clock start
to the pregame here with Tom Offerman and Matt Williamson,
before Labs du Lac join Persuda for the network cranking
up at six fifteen, and then it's Rob King, Max

(17:20):
Stark's Missy Matthew Steelers Bengals tomorrow night on DVE.

Speaker 12 (17:26):
Chad Tyson turns your car into a sonic playground a
lot every weekday afternoon, He's got a reloaded cut from
the DVE Morning Show Sports and a Workforce commercial free
hour at three afternoons with Chad Ty Sudden on DVE.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
It's Randy from the DVE Mornings Show. You know, it's
more important than ever before to connect with people.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Is that brought to you by Bridgeville Appliance.

Speaker 13 (17:51):
Jalen Ramsey emerged a hero in the Steelers victory over
Cleveland last Sunday for his two sacks effort and for
the effort Ramsey exhibited just to get himself onto the
field despite.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
A hamstring injury.

Speaker 13 (18:03):
But Ramsey not the only hero on that Steelers defense
all of a sudden. Inside linebacker Patrick Queen also made
his presence felt against the Bronze and that's starting to
happen with regularity, a development to Steelers have been waiting
on the Queen.

Speaker 14 (18:19):
There's a comfort level now in this defense. I think
here's a you know, being the green dot. You know,
he and I are always talking and always doing those things,
and he feels real comfortable about, you know, doing the job.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
And doing the task at hand.

Speaker 14 (18:33):
So he's really playing fast right now and it really
shows I think you know, you watched last week and
the week before. I mean, he just kind of jumps
off the film at you in terms of his speed
and violence, and we need that.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
But that's why we got him.

Speaker 14 (18:46):
And now it's good to see that he's really, you know,
starting to feel comfortable and confident in that regard. He's
always been a confident player, but you know how they
sometimes you get into a new system, it takes you
a little while to really get your feet on the
ground and going.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
But but he's got it going right now.

Speaker 13 (19:02):
Bill, you're always a hard grater. You have a unique
perspective to me because you're a fanatic. Yeah, but you're
a hard grater. You don't just drink the kool aid
if you don't like the taste. You complained about it.
Is this the Patrick queen?

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Yeah? You thought they were getting Yeah, the last couple
of weeks. Hell yeah. And it's not necessarily picks and sacks,
but just I mean, he's had a couple in his hands,
flying around and lighting people up.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
And he's tackling people hard. He's going sideline to sideline
like we knew he could. But he's making plays. He's
like he had a huge sack playing in the backfield. Yeah,
tackles for loss.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
This is Dylan Gabriel trying to do to him on
that one sack.

Speaker 5 (19:42):
I think he was just frustrated because he got hit
like seventeen times.

Speaker 4 (19:46):
He's like lifted him up violently.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah, good hit.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Queen was looking around at the ress like you just
letting him do this? Yeah?

Speaker 13 (19:55):
Should I kill him now or later? If you're gonna
let this go? Uh speeded by. We're the terms that
Austin used to describe Queen's game. You need both, right,
It's you got to play fast on defense, but you
also have to play violent. And this Steelers defense in
particular needs to play that way if it's going to

(20:15):
be all that they think it might.

Speaker 14 (20:19):
Yeah, it's a violent game, and so you got to
play it that way. Play within We try to play
within the rules, but we try to play as violently
as possible. And I think you know, when you're a
green dot guy, the guy that's talking to the defense
every day is leading that charge. I think it's it
does everything. It's no different than a quarterback. You know,
when the quarterback steps in the huddle and if the
guys believe him and you know the things he's talking

(20:40):
about and he's showing it. They're going to do it.
They're going to come right along with him. And I
think our guys doing it as well.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
How much does Jalen Ramsey have to do with that attitude? Defensively,
I think a great deal.

Speaker 13 (20:51):
But I also think Queen was that guy when they
signed him. And I think there is credibility to what
Austin said about coming to a new system, and Mike
Thomas talked about this too.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
I mean, yeah, oh, last year with a rookie a lot.

Speaker 13 (21:04):
I mean he was new to Pittsburgh from Baltimore last
year and it took him a little while to really,
you know, start feeling.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
It's funny how the narrative kind of changed from oh,
Queen needed Roquan to be a bad ass to the
next year is.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
Like Roquan needed Queen to be a bad ass.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
And I mean that was early sample size because he
got hurt, but still patting Queen.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
It's valid point.

Speaker 13 (21:25):
I mean, it's I think on both sides of the ball,
you can start to see it potentially look like they
thought it could.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
They're playing like goons. I mean when they when you
start moving people in the trenches and you start hitting
people and throwing people on their back and sending them backwards.
That gets stealing nation excited.

Speaker 13 (21:47):
Steelers at the Bengals on Thursday night, I mean AFC North.
I'm this is not hyperble. I believe these games are
toss ups. There are six of them for each of
these teams that you just don't know. But a lot
of trending in the right direction, all of a sudden
for the Steelers.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Yes, But all of the knocks against the Steelers for
this Thursday night and reasons why the Bengals would win,
to me are all like circumstantial and don't have anything
to do with actually been what has been on the
field to this point. A little bit of what you
saw in the second half against the Packers lead, you believe, right,

(22:29):
if they're going to continue to play that way, if
that was the jumping off point the line of demarcation
for them, yeah, then the Steelers have to be very
concerned about Thursday night. Look, they got to be very concerned,
no matter what I get it. But it's all, Oh,
it's the ASC North. In the AFC North, they always
you know, battle each other tough, throw the records at.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
The wind though.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Oh Tomlins stinks on Thursday nights, So.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
You know, there's a lot of Boogeyman around this one
for the Steelers when it's just straight x's and Oh,
to me, when I look at this, the Steelers should
beat the snot out of this team and roll up
some points on them.

Speaker 4 (23:06):
On paper, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
On paper, it's all the other stuff is all a circumstantial.

Speaker 13 (23:12):
And I think most of the time that circumstantial stuff
is just noise and the stuff we talk about. But
I think it's real in the North, honestly, I really do.
I've seen too many games. I've seen the Steelers. I've
seen Ryan Mallet of the Ravens beating the Steelers. I've
seen the Steelers have a crappy team and beat a
good Baltimore Ravens.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
I mean the game that we just played on Sunday
was a typical for the AFC North.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
That's a blowout, but they still could have won that game,
Like the Browns could have come back and won that game.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
That was a one score game in the third quarter.

Speaker 13 (23:44):
And if Cleveland doesn't get an iffy roughing or running
into the kicker pedaling on a punt, they're getting the
ball back down six.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
I mean it just these games just are what they are.

Speaker 13 (23:55):
Now two things the Bengals might have going for them
on the field, and these are both a bit of
a reach. Flacco activated the receivers. Yes, that was for
two quarters. It's pretty small sample size, but veteran guy
who knows where the ball.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Should go defense and when it.

Speaker 13 (24:13):
Needs to get there, and he's got Chase chasing Hagen's
on the other that should get your attention.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
And it bothers me that it was the second two quarters,
because if he came out and looked good right away
and then fizzled, I'd feel a lot better about it.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
To decent point that. Uh.

Speaker 13 (24:27):
The other thing is now their offensive line stinks. But
Flacco only got sacked one time, and he only got
hit five times against a pretty good Packers defense, at
least it's supposed to be.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Hasn't been great on the field yet.

Speaker 13 (24:39):
Were they putting pressure on Oh, it blistered crap out
of him in the second half and he was just
getting rid of it. Yeah, all right, So if they're
able to deal with Pittsburgh's pass rush, which I think
is better in Green Bays. Then he's got a chance
that he's got a chance to activate those guys and
do some stuff. And then, last, but not least, that's
sixty seven yard field goal that didn't count.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
I mean, I know the dude's guy, a total money
Mack could bumper win the game from seventy yards away
on the last play.

Speaker 13 (25:09):
Not saying that's going to happen, but it might be
a good idea to not have this be a one
score game late.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
This is turf too, right, it's a field turf Cincinnati.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
In the jungle. I believe it's grass? Is it grass? Okay?

Speaker 13 (25:21):
Yeah, I haven't been there in a while. It used
to be turf back in the day. There's not terf.
O'Malley's now, well, guess what. Guess who's doing news for
us tomorrow morning. O'Malley, Katie, O'Malley. You guys got some
beers in the alley. We don't almost like the real thing.
There is still a nation. If you're going, uh, find

(25:43):
O'Malley's in the alley and it's it's in an alley
and you got to kind of know where it is
to find it.

Speaker 4 (25:48):
Is it a Bengals bar.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Bengals play on artificial turf, specifically a new field turf
system installed at pay Co Horse Stadium for the twenty
twenty four season.

Speaker 4 (25:55):
Oh okay, well there you go. I haven't been there
since then.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
Well before that, it was a different type of synthetic turf.
Maybe maybe O'Malley's is messed with your oh memory, maybe Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
Is it a Bengals bar or is it.

Speaker 13 (26:08):
Just like it's just a Cincinnati bar. Yeah, it's it's
I mean, it's down. They have bread flagged up. We
have a couple of bobbleheads. But it's not it's a
place to go drink. It's like, you know, it's not
a place. Is this an Irish bar? It's kind of
like in Cincinnati. Yeah. It's not great TVs, not great music,
just Cincinnati dustin booze. Although one year we were there

(26:29):
near Christmas, they had a Santa Claus parade and there
were like thirty guys in Santa outfits getting crushed in there.

Speaker 4 (26:39):
It was really fun.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Abbay, he's got your news at the top of the hour.

Speaker 7 (26:42):
Marinating meat is tasty and it can save your life.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Marinating Mark Madden joining us at ninety five this morning
he's been marinating in sickness. Hopefully he's been marinating in antibiotics.

Speaker 4 (26:53):
Yeah, just take him to feel better and then save
the rest he does. It's the dumbest thing in the world.
It's not he keeps them too long range.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
Yeah, you're supposed to take all of the antibiotics so
you don't build up the bike.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Strong six It was a great year for antibiotics. Save
some for the fourth quarter.

Speaker 2 (27:11):
Man, It's just how it works well.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
And yet I'm the healthiest guy in this room.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Okay, why do you think that track?

Speaker 4 (27:23):
I mean, I haven't seen you be sick a lot,
but yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Because she finishes her antibiotics.

Speaker 13 (27:28):
You guys have both, Yeah, way more time than I
have because of sick Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Why have I have massive allergies? Yeah, it doesn't happen
with me.

Speaker 13 (27:35):
No, Okay, alcohol and judicious use of antibiotics are the
way to go. I've done my own research on this.
I should be the secretary.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Yeah, when we come back, will rate our algorithm.

Speaker 1 (27:48):
It's the perfect thing to obsess over.

It's the DDE Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Randy Bauman, Bill Crawford, Abbey Christner might pursue a Jacob
Brect as our producer. And each and every week we
like to take one break during the show and jump
into our respective algorithm so we can see what each other,
each of us is looking at, because we're all in
a different prism of the algorithm's making, and we're not

(29:59):
pretty everything. It's not a monoculture anymore. So this is
our attempt to kind of bridge that gap by rating
the algorithms we're.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
We're writing.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Okay, so let's start with Abby, Abby, what do you got?

Speaker 4 (30:23):
What do you have to?

Speaker 7 (30:24):
All right, this one's not a laugh or it's a thinker.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
Rarely do you ever see the music nerds and the
jocks have an occasion to come together. But I really
liked this idea because we can come together, and maybe
it's a great strategy.

Speaker 8 (30:38):
We need to teach NFL offenses about sixteenth notes.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
Who is this video for? I don't know.

Speaker 8 (30:45):
We need to teach them about basic elementary rhythm because
here's how it goes.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
The quarterback goes in.

Speaker 8 (30:49):
It tells the rest of the offensive players, Hey, here's
the play, and we're.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
Gonna go on one or on two.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
That's really easy for a defense to guess.

Speaker 8 (30:57):
But if we taught offensive sixteenth notes, the Baltimore Ravens
are never gonna see the uh of three coming ever.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
All right, guys, we're gonna run the.

Speaker 8 (31:08):
The yebadabado jet sweep on the uh of three, and
the team's like, got it already, said.

Speaker 4 (31:17):
Twa three.

Speaker 8 (31:18):
Yenna snaps the ball on Uh, Ravens don't see that coming.
There's no way they're gonna they're gonna see the E
of two. They're not gonna be ready for the E
of two on a two week do you know what
I mean? We need to teach them sixteenthotes.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
There is nothing more frustrating than being in a band
rehearsal and someone not getting the uh and.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Like, no, it's on the it's on the end.

Speaker 7 (31:42):
It's on the end.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
Yeah, if you.

Speaker 5 (31:44):
Talk to the players, Rogers is doing this sixteenth. I mean,
his snap count pisses everyone off. Nobody knows when it's coming.
I mean a lot of the times the Jets offensive
line didn't last year.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
I like how he said it, though it's more like
it was like Lawrence and No.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
One and two and the tree, like you can't be
that obvious exactly. I think it's got some possibilities. It
really does the thinker. Okay, the next one, Bill, let's
look at yours.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (32:14):
I saw this and immediately thought of you and Mike.
Comedian Brendan Saglow, New York based comic.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
I'm starting to see his stuff a lot more.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
Really think he's a funny dude and He's just talking
about raising his kids by letting them watch nothing but
the sopranos.

Speaker 13 (32:34):
I want to have a.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Baby, and I want to like just show him everything
that I like, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (32:39):
I feel like that's really cool.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
Like the minute he comes.

Speaker 13 (32:41):
Out the Planos episode one.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
Hopefully he grows up talking like that.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
That's kind of what a moldy.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Boy he comes out, He's like, Google, got.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Home?

Speaker 4 (33:03):
He did?

Speaker 13 (33:03):
All right?

Speaker 4 (33:08):
You playing that little game goes? That goes me out.
A rat goes takes perfect Goo Google, guys.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
I never thought about how much no soprano actually sounds
like a baby. Yeah, Mike, what do you got?

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Uh?

Speaker 13 (33:29):
I got a clip I've been actually hanging on to
for a while now. The football coach at Troy University
in Troy, Alabama's a guy. The name is Scott Cross,
and he's come up with a cheap code for recruiting
to Troy.

Speaker 16 (33:42):
For a town of fifteen thousand, one school is not
in town, so you can imagine you got one waffle
house per five thousand people, so probably most per capita
anywhere in the country. But started off the first two
recruits I brought on campus. We're driving down the main street.
I point out waffle House ask them if they want
to eat there for breakfast, and they were like, waffle house?

(34:04):
You know, hell no, I don't want to go to
waffle House. I'm like, okay, my bad. You know, We'll
trying to eat somewhere else. Long story short, we signed
neither one of those guys. Then we brought a guy
named Nick Stampley, who's an okg ur kind of guy.
He was our third recruit to visit. We're driving by,
we don't even say anything about waffle house.

Speaker 4 (34:24):
He sees.

Speaker 16 (34:25):
He's like, oh, coach, y'all got a waffle house here?
Can we go there tomorrow? He was our first signing
these guys we've ever coached, and from that point forward
we just kind of off hand ask him do you
like waffle House? The answer is yes, It's like we
sign them. If it's no, we never get them. So

(34:46):
I told my staff I was like, hey, y'all can
save a lot of time and money first phone conversation
in passing, ask them do they like waffle House or not?

Speaker 4 (34:56):
There you go. I love waffle House. Our kind of guy.
Just get your kind of guy. Don't get the best guy.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Get the best fit Okage. I'm like, Oklahoma Guard, I
didn't understand what that was.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Our kind of guy.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
The last one I have for you is from the
comedian Dom Seleski, who I really like. He's like it
just a he just does YouTube stuff. He's the guy
that he first went viral with that video where he
orders an Italian hogi and then makes it more Italian
over and over and over.

Speaker 4 (35:25):
Where he's just screaming primal noises.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
Exactly this one. He's a Ravens fan. By the way,
He's wearing a Ravens jersey and he is well so stavvy,
you know what I mean, Like, you know they're not
all bad.

Speaker 4 (35:38):
I guess.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
This is titled when someone chimes in about your team
and he starts off complaining about his team and then
his friend tries to chime in, Dude.

Speaker 16 (35:51):
The season is over.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
I'm so sick of hearing. Oh it's the injuries. Oh
it's the defense, it's the team as a whole. We suck. Yeah,
you guys do not look good.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
Shut up, how true it is. Abby's got your knees
coming up next.

Speaker 7 (36:17):
Mari Nature Meet it can save your life.

Speaker 15 (36:19):
Gets a shout it all out back off Boogaloo.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
You all come bring me on.

Speaker 11 (36:23):
