That's impossible for me. Balls. We better stop everything, but we

(03:14):

an announcement. I would definitely promoteit. You let them take a soldering
iron to your nuts. I willdefinitely promote it. Try to help us
get some numbers. That did great. Julie's big announcement next Monday at three
point thirty. Not only something, get balls. She then had, Yeah,

(03:39):
exactly, there's some business that Ihave to attend to. Let's do
it. I'll know what's going downtonight. No uh, Taylor Swift's new
album release tonight, Okay the TorturedPoet's Department. A few months ago,

(04:01):
at the Grammys, while she wasaccepting her reward for Record of the Year
Album of the Year for Midnights, her last album, she announced that she
had another album coming out. Andanybody who's remotely interested in Taylor Swift and
the music she makes has been quiteexcited about this announcement because it was a

(04:24):
surprise, and she has been droppinglittle hints here and there about the album
and what to expect, and thenthis week she went full on Easter eggs
and people who are really following thestory have been trying to solve puzzles and
fill in the blank word things tofigure out her clues. She was doing
QR code billboards throughout the world, essentially in various cities, and if the

(04:50):
billboard popped up, you would haveto do the QR code and it would
tell you a letter. And thenwhen you put that letter into this little
the word scramble type thing, itwould tell you like a secret code or
whatever, a secret you know.I think it said a fortnight whenever people
put all the letters together, becauseit was a fortnight until the album was

(05:13):
released. Fortnite is the name ofone of the songs on the album,
and then today she announced that Fortnitewas going to actually be the first single
on this album, The Tortured Poet'sDepartment. I'll read you her message because
the Fortnite is great, the songthat she's doing with Post Malone. Okay,

(05:35):
some people assume it's about Fortnite thegame, No, because it's spelled
differently. Well, her clue wasspelled differently. How's the game spelled an
it in it e? Okay? And hers is Fortnite in ight and the
clue was about a fortnight, likea one night and day or whatever.

(05:56):
How long is a fortnight? Ithink it's a two right, Yeah,
it's two weeks. I was justseeing if we knew. Oh, I
thought it was like one day. It's two weeks, really, Jewels,
two weeks? Come on groovy Fortniteshaming me? Yes, well, why
last night be held to account?Did she say fortnite just because the name
of the song, I would guessI thought I was saying there was a
Fortnite tell the album anyway. Isee if these clues are all very confusing,

(06:20):
and I also don't apparently know howlong a fortnite. I thought you
no one should have listened to thealbum because of this, okay deal,
I think, Julie, you justgot to get comfortable in your groove with
Taylor and just realize that you'll neverbe one of the full on psychos.
You're just gonna have to be like, I'm just me. I like her
and it's cool. Yes, yeah, I'm not a full on psycho person.

(06:41):
I don't think you can be unlessyou started on this roller coaster ride.
Like from very early on, there'sso many twists and turns that Swifties
have been on. They understand somany It's like a whole language culture,
and I am very new to itall. So I'm not jewels. I'm
just Jewels, and I just discoveredI recently had a late in life affinity

(07:02):
for taylor'swat because I went to theconcert and then i started listening to her
music NonStop. When I'm not listeningto the Mules. She has her own
station. Now I'm serious radio school, all Taylor, all the time.
So anyway, she posted this today. She said, the first single from

(07:23):
The Tortured Poet's Department is Fortnite featuringPost Malone. I've been such a huge
fan of Post because the writer heis, his musical experimentation and those melodies
he creates that just stick in yourhead forever. I got to witness that
magic come to life firsthand when wework together on Fortnite. Honestly, can't
wait for you guys to hear thissong at midnight tonight and see the video

(07:43):
at eight pm Eastern tomorrow, soshe'll release the video for Fortnite, which
is going to be the first singleon her new album, which comes out
tonight. Can we hear this songat midnight tonight? I think on all
of the I for sure Spotify, she has like a partnership with them.
But I think Apple Music. Ithink everywhere that you can download music,

(08:07):
you'll be able to hear it.And it's going down at eleven o'clock tonight.
I do have some very exciting informationour friend Kevin Turner. He is
currently in the future in Italy.Yes, yes, yes, it is

(08:28):
later in the day in Italy.Yes, So he is living in the
future right now. Yes, Andhe sent me a text this morning.
He should be going to sleep likenow. I think he's like eight hours
ahead. Just think of all thespaghetti farts he's cut today, Mike,
we'll just think about it. Hell, I don't know, Mike. I

(08:50):
am now and I didn't want to. Well, I don't know, Mike.
That was one of my favorites,is pasta and understood called Mike Mark,
Yeah, you're gonna give you toots. Just we cant do that.
I suppose it could exactly like hedoesn't want to admit. I think he's

(09:18):
just got spaghetti on the mind becausethat one story we saw in the pre
show meeting. Yeah, oh aboutyet human testing? Yeah, with the
nards. Yeah. So Kevin sentme a text at eight forty eight this
morning from Italy and he said, won't be able to call in, but
I get the Taylor album at fourpm your time. I'll have a full

(09:41):
review ready for you by five meansin fifteen minutes he will get the Taylor
album. Yes, and we willbe an hour away from a full review.
We're not going to be able toget right right, We're gonna have
the only Tortured Poets Department album reviewon terrestrial radio in the whole United States

(10:05):
of America. We have to bethe only one that's getting this exclusive because
Kevin has found himself in the futuretoday the day that Taylor's releasing her album,
and he's going to review it andget it to us. He's going
to send it back into the pastto us and I will play that for
y'all as soon as we get it. I don't know what content I'm gonna

(10:26):
have to interrupt. Yeah, healso but just beware. He also knew
that Jack Lder was going to gethit pretty good today. He told you
that he did because I was like, drop my gosh, Kevin, You're
in the future, and he waslike, yeah, Jack Lider is going
to get lit up, Yeah, which was actually happening here at the same
time. I don't know if he'sactually in the future, just it's a
different time, yeah, I meantechno. I guess it's all very confusing.
Yeah. So anyway, there's theupdate that I have to give you

(10:50):
all because this is a big dayfor Swifties and non Swifties and anybody who
was remotely interested. Because when Taylorreleases an album, it's pretty huge and
it's going to dominate the waves onwhatever you listen to. Can KT download
it and like send the files overand then we could just play Taylor's whole
album. I don't know, Ifeel like that'd be illegal some first one
reason or another. You don't feellike our country will be ready for it

(11:13):
until midnight. But I do feellike if people in Italy are getting the
album atm like someone's gonna leak that. Like I bet by maybe by the
end of ourse show, this willbe leaked. Plus she's American. Why
didn't she want us to have it? Right? That's why I figured she'd
release it at the same time foreverybody. But she's doing it at Yeah,

(11:33):
most things that release release it whatevertime it is. Everywhere. Yeah,
like a TV show, you haveto figure out like they'll say,
yeah, release this time, andyou're like, right, what time zone?
And then you just because it comesout at the same time everywhere.
But this is literally going to comeout at midnight no matter where you are.
Apparently, that's weird. Apparently,And Kevin's all over this. He's
he's a swiftie. So Kevin's goingto bring that to the people later on

(11:56):
in our show. So I teasedbest ectomy stuff and it's not personally mine.
I didn't also get okay, Kevin, sorry for second, Lafe out
of the room. We forgive you. Where did you come from? Kevin
from the future already knows, buthe's going to continue to have this problem

(12:18):
even in the future. I'm verysorry. I'm very sorry about that.
All right. So I was readingthis article earlier today. That was a
little bit surprising. Apparently vasectomies arebecoming more and more common with younger people

(12:39):
like gen Z type people. Iwas reading this too, you were,
yes, Are you interested in thisstory, Michael, Yes, I am,
all right. So a lot ofthe reason is because of the overturning
of Roe versus Wade, which happenedlast summer, which was banning abortion throughout
the country and stuff, and we'renot going to talk about all that really,
but a lot of the reason whythese are more popular is because of

(13:03):
that, because that's obviously was somethingthat people had as like a safeguard if
they accidentally playing with firegnant. Yeah, playing with fire wasn't such a big
deal. You just thrown at thedoctor and you handle it. And now
you can't, and so men, poor people can't. Yeah, there's still
there's still ways. So men arekind of taking this into their own hands.

(13:24):
And it's interesting that it's younger men, Like it's it's not just men
that you might assume are doing this. This article here says it's on the
cut. It's really cool. Itsays, for the past two decades,
the typical vasectomy candidate fit a commondemographic. He was white, married between
forty one and forty five years old, had two or more kids, the

(13:48):
youngest nearly three years old, andaccording to data that they found between two
thousand and six and twenty fifteen, the primary reason got men got vast sectomies
was women and their husbands or partnersdidn't want to have any more kids.
So that's what I always thought about, Like I'll hear about it from a
dad who or you know, heand his wife have decided that they're done

(14:09):
having kids and they don't want anymore. But and this was the case really
as recently as twenty seventeen, onlyfour percent of men who got vsseectomies did
not have any children. But thathas changed and now an acdotal reports are
finding that younger men who don't haveand don't want kids are increasing in numbers,

(14:30):
and they're getting best sectomies to ensurethat they don't have kids. So
we have younger men now who aredeciding on their own, whether they're in
a relationship or not, that theydon't want to have children, and they
don't care necessarily what happens later inlife who they end up with. They're
going to go ahead and make shortthat they can't have any children. And
this is something that is growing andbecoming more common. This article kind of

(15:00):
it back on like it's reversible. These things are reversible. I believe,
like you can just be like yep, yep, shut it down, gonna
have fun, and then be likeall right, a lot of work though
effect it snip snaps, snip, snap, snap, so you can cut
it and then you can glue itback together pretty much. Yeah, I
don't know exactly how it works, but I've heard something like that, but

(15:22):
I've never really let's sit into it. Yeah, Michael Scott on the office
got it done and readone like threedifferent times. I mean I kind of
like that because it has always justbeen fallen on the woman to do the
take the preventative measures into control,as it should be, says Mike.
Yeah, they just, yeah,a lot of cut and they cut and

(15:43):
seal the tubes that carry the stuff, and then I guess you can just
be like, all right, let'sput it back together. Yeah, technically
this is the definition. This iswhat actomy is. It's a routine procedure
in men that block sperm from reachingsemen. But two ligation or sterilization involves

(16:03):
cutting, tying, or removing thefallopian tubes to prevent sperm from reaching the
eggs. So I guess, yeah, you could probably undo it. They
do say the longer it's been, the less likely it is that a reversal
will work. But almost all ofthe sectomies can be reversed, so yeah,
it can just be like shut itdown. But if you wait a
long time and you're like open backup, it might not make it.

(16:26):
It seems like a lot of work. I mean, the surgery in itself
doesn't sound fun. But this particulararticle found like six men that had done
this and kind of asked them allabout it. Here's one guy, for
example. His name's Alex. He'stwenty five. He's a research specialist in
psychology and public policy from New Jersey. And it says why did he get

(16:48):
the procedure? It said, I'dcome This is him speaking. I had
come to the decision that I didn'twant to have children, probably three years
ago. When the news about RoverSuade getting over ruled was leaked. Last
year, I started reading about howa vassectomy compares to other forms of contraceptives.
The more I learned about it,the more it became a no brainer.
I'm single, so this was independentof anyone else. Why horny too,
I'm trying to do stuff mm hmm. And then all six of these

(17:12):
men, it says like how itwent, So it explains I guess,
like how the actual procedure went forthem and their experience. It says how
it went I'm assuming if I werea woman and I were trying to get
my tubes tied, I'd get alot more questioning. But no, the
doctor assumed that I already had kids, because the majority of men who get
this procedure have children. They injecteda local anesthesia into the scrotum and the

(17:33):
procedure took twenty minutes. I wentto work after. There's mild soreness,
but in terms of pain, itwasn't any more painful than getting the flu
shot. I'll say that because Ithink the vasectomy is the thing that most
people like. It spikes the mostaround March madness because people use it as
a reason to not be able togo to work. Don't there's people out
here squashing thing that it's just ashot. Yeahpo through that. Here's another

(17:56):
guy, Eric, he's thirty oneyears old in North Carolina. Why he
got it? He says, theygot really serious with my current partner.
I knew we really didn't want kids. Never thought too seriously about getting vasectomy
until he knew that Roe v.Wade was going to be overturned. The
day did it, scheduled a consultation. He knew there was a possibility that

(18:17):
his most cherished loved one's life couldbe at risk if something went wrong with
an accidental pregnancy. I could easilycompletely eliminate that risk if he did this
vasectomy. When it comes to howit went, he says, I was
very apprehensive about the day itself, only because I'm unfamiliar with surgery. I
asked, do I take a weekoff work? The doctor laughed at me,
Oh, guys, they're revealing thetruth. We're taking a week off,

(18:38):
he said. I have electricians andplumbers that come and get this done
in the morning and work in theafternoon. The whole thing top to bottom
was maybe seven minutes. Don't outit like that, y'all. I felt
a little pinch of discomfort during theprocedure. The next day I had some
slight soreness, but by about aweek later, I was feeling fine.
I had more discomforted did disappointment.Yeah, it costs one fifteen hundred to

(19:02):
two thousand dollars because insurance won't coverit. Speak it for less than that,
just a pair of scissors. Ah, But then he says, then
what does a lighter? That's allit takes. Then one day I got
a check in the mail from myinsurance company for the entire amount out of
nowhere. So insurance companies are perhapsconfused on if they should cover their's or

(19:23):
not for these men who are gettingthis just as a form of earth control.
Yeah, I like stories where insurancecompanies make a mistake and they just
send you money. Yeah. I'venever had that happen me either, neither
of neither insurance catch up. Idon't like insurance. Sorry, this guy

(19:44):
Aaron said, there's apparently a nervein that area that can make you feel
a little nauseous during the procedure,I felt nauseous. The same sense of
getting kicked in the balls can makeme feel much. I guess we have
the answer to the question, don'twe What do you do with the ball?
The doc was like, no problem, he moved something around and I
was fine. The worst part ofthe recovery process was not being able to

(20:07):
exercise for a week because I ridebikes. Yeah, that would be tough.
So anyway, just an interesting articlethat I was exploring. Because you
just don't think about young guys thathaven't had kids yet, that maybe aren't
even in a relationship yet. Theyjust want to have a lot of sex
that's all they really that's all theyreally want, and apparently it's not so

(20:30):
bad. So we see you allthese guys sayings, complaining and making your
wife do all the birth control stuffbecause you fear the best ectomy just did.
Oh you did this whole segment justto try to get guys to be
the ones to do the first time. I mean, I think I should
shed some light on this topic ifI see it, and if it could
help my fellow woman not have todo as much stuff to their body.

(20:55):
Yeah, okay, fair, Yeah, my fellow Americans. The best damn
sports segment period is coming up next. We now know why Michael Parsons isn't
with the team, and I don'tknow if this is a good enough reason. Next
