Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's daily highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Do we talk about the Coldplay incident? Yeah, such a
lesson and just being cool, man, just be cool.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
Okay, tell the story so in case someone doesn't know it.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
So it was one of those basically like kiss cam
kind of things, but it was at the Coldplay concert
and it zooms in on a couple that is, as
Danielle said, canodling up in what looks like a luxury box.
And as soon as the camera hits them and they
realize it, they both freak out. The guy ducks, the
girl walks in the other direction. Then he like hops
behind this glass thing where you can still see him
and their friend and her reaction next to them was like,

(00:38):
oh damn, they just got caught. At that moment, Chris
Martin says, Wow, they're either really shy or they're having
an affair. Turns out, in fact, they were having an affair,
and now everybody knows. And I have never seen a
story covered more than this. It's crazy fabulous.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Yeah, and it was everywhere. We were talking about how
if you're even untilcial media for ten seconds yesterday you
saw it. It was everywhere. It was actually, as I
keep saying, it was obviously the story we needed.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
And he's the CEO of a company called Astronomer, and
allegedly she's the chief people officer over there, so she
works in HR And now you know, that's another scandal.
And now all these things are coming out like a
fake tweak from Coldplay, a fake statement from the guy.
We don't know what's going on, but it is chaotic.
His wife allegedly already changed her last name on Facebook.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
It's getting crazy. Yeah, I mean it's growing, all these
stories and now to the point where you don't know
what's true what's not. Also, I heard her rumor that
that couple was stranged and they already filed for divorce,
and we don't know. We just don't know anything.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
But regardless, it is a lesson and just being cool. Man.
Had they not overreacted like that, the camera would have
moved on and nobody would have cared. But that reaction
got all the attention. So if you're doing something bad
and you get caught, just keep doing the thing.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
I keep doing it. Just this thing that Garrett Is
said us in the chat room. Coldplay hasn't made a
single in years. Last Night they made too.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
I saw that.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, you know, this happened here in New York. And
we've talked told this story before. You know how sometimes
when they do the weather segment on the local news
on TV, they'll send the weather guy out to the
local park, you know, like life from Central Park. Let's
check out the weather. Here's Alan Broker. And one year
there was a couple canoodling in the background behind the camera,

(02:32):
just walking by, and they were caught right there on
National TV. This guy, you know, cheating on his wife.
She was cheating on her husband, and they were right
there behind Al Roker on National TV or Al Roker
or someone who cares, but it was someone And then
we know someone there was a snow star. But here

(02:55):
in Jersey on the turnpike of one to the gas stations,
it was a blizzard. It was a blizzard and he
for some reason, he had to pull off the road
with his girlfriend right yes, and because the blizzard was blizzarded, blizzarding,
And then of course there's a camera from the local
state channel four there and then there they're in the
background like, oh my god, oh god.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
I wonder how much this happens all the time, because
you hear about like Google Earth when those those jeeps
are driving around and the vans are driving around catching
people or cars and driveways, and I'm so interested to know,
like the stupidest way you got caught, Like you did
not anticipate this at all.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Well, in this case, it was snowing so hard and
they just wanted to get reaction off of people.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Can you believe this? The roads are starting to cl
There are idiots out there, and this person happened to
be one of them.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Can they just can we just do that with the camera,
just approach people without telling them, Hey, you're going to
be on the news.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
They tell you right there, say hey, by the way,
we're live on God channels eight.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Good did your friends done dodge.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Out on the interview? Yeah that's not good? Yeah, what up?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Nate?

Speaker 5 (03:58):
Not advocating for this, Dan Ye, But if you are cheating,
how do you get away with it in public? Like
if I was going to do it, I would just
be in I'm not eddicating you know what.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
You get away with it because you're lucky, because you
know what, if you're cheating and you're out in public
at a cold a cold Play concert or what a
cold Play cold brew? When is it with a cold
brew concert or you're going out to dinner at restaurants,
there's a good chance someone's going to see you. It's
it's like, oh, well, I'm not going to get caught,
you know, because your ego is too big.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Is what it is. Maybe it's like it's so obvious
if I were cheating, I would never be out in public.
That's the thought behind it. So then you just go
out and well, actually you are caught.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Idiot. You all say, keep keep calm, whatever the case.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
If that'd be cool, but if that camera just comes
on you right there, you have to you flinch because
you just it's a reaction that you're like, you know
you're doing something like you're in headlights.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
But yeah, I know its flying practice.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
The thing is, I wear my emotion on my sleep.
I can never do that. Don't do something stupid. But
did that way?

Speaker 1 (05:04):
You know?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Nowadays they someone And in this world that.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
We live in nowadays, there's cameras everywhere, there's people Instagram,
there's the TikTok.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
There's someone's going to catch you somewhere.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
In fact that anyone gets away with it anymore, what.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Do you got name? I got Maria. I can't hear
Maria was there? Okay, Maria, you were at the Coldplay
concert that's getting all this time?

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Yeah, Hi, yes, good morning. I was there. It was insane.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
This was this was up in Massachusetts. Are you following
cold Play to all the concerts? What's your deal?

Speaker 1 (05:41):
No? I live in Massachusetts. I'm about an hour and
ten minutes west of Foxborough, So we were just there
for that one concert.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
All right, Well, while you were there, it was just
it didn't seem like it was anything that drastic, did it.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
No? You know, as soon as you know, the camera had,
you know, shown a couple of different people up on
the jumbo tron and as soon as you know, panned
to that certain couple and they duck. Immediately, everybody was like,
oh no, something's going on. They were not supposed to
be here together, so we knew we knew it was

(06:19):
going on.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Right, So here's the thing, what's your what's your advice
for people who are cheating and going to Coldplay concerts?

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Well, I mean probably either you know, stay out of
the limelight, or like you guys mentioned, act like nothing's happening.
You know, if had they not react in that manner probably.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Done.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Yeah, well let me I guess.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
But you know the camera cuts to you. Your first
instinct is you're like, uh, you have a second half
a second to react.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
Most people are gonna be like, do what they did.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
It's hard to do.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
It's the guilt.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Here's the thing. Yeah, well you're very messy and it's
gonna get messy er. We think, we don't know, we
don't know the full story yet, but you know, if
you're going to be cheating on someone and you're going
to go out in public, just assume you're going to
be caught. Yeah, now, just assume because you're cheating, you're
cheating on someone. If if, if he indeed was cheating,

(07:25):
we still, like I said, don't know the full story,
but you're going to get caught. And to have that
ego to think that you can do something so crazy,
I mean and not get caught and hey, well yeah
it's that that. Well I'll never get caught because I'm
a billionaire. Okay, well I.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
Need to kicked off.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
He didn't invite me to the Coldplay concert his wife.
I want to go see Coldplay? Yeah all, well, thank
you for listening to us. I hope you have a
great weekend, and uh, you know, wherever you're going next,
we're bringing cameras. It sounds like you know your tract.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
