Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran in the Morning Show.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hey, so while we were away last week, we were
doing what we call the Best ofs is playing some
moments from our show in the past year or two,
and I don't listen to I'm not a fan.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
But.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
There should have been there anyway.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
So we had several texts about something that was said
on our show, and so we got in touch with
one of the textures. That's Claudine on line nineteen. Hello Claudine,
Welcome to Monday. How are you feeling.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
I'm good. How are you?

Speaker 4 (00:34):
We're doing very were doing very well.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Now what did you hear during our best ofs in
air quotes last week that made you go, hmm, what's
that all about?

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Well, first of all, I want to say, you're gonna
hear cars like that speeding by because I don't want
you to choke your microphone. I have crappy cell service
at my house. I'm sitting on the front step of
my house outside in my bathroom with like curlers in
my hair and happenings.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
Oh my god, I love my vision.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Good cell service.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
Yes, you sound great.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Okay, So somebody had called in. It was about like
when your ex you find out your ex cheats on you.
And one of the women called in and she was like, well,
my husband was a or my fiance was a cop.
So I took his pepper spray and I put it
like in the shower head and on the forks and everywhere.
So when he touched something after I found out he

(01:21):
was cheating on me, like he got burned. And casually
Gandhi in the middle of the conversation, was like, I
got pepper sprayed once and it was terrible, and nobody
stopped her and was like, Ghandi, nobody.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Was surprised that.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Being pepper strayed thee is this something that Gandhi would do.
That's just a Gandhi thing. But you know what I
do recall that conversation and no, we did not go
deeper on that. How did you and why did you
get pepper spray?

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Gandhi?

Speaker 1 (01:53):
So it's happened three times, actually what what?

Speaker 4 (01:59):
Okay? Let's count Oh?

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
The first time because it took pepper spray to the
beach and it exploded, and when it exploded, it got
all over all of our faces and it was the worst.
The second time I went to a movie theater, and
these stupid girls thought that we were trying to talk
to their boyfriends because their boyfriends kept turning around talking
to this the whole time. So they came down at
the end of the movie and they pepper sprayed us
in the face direct it. And then the third time

(02:23):
was the guy that I was dating at the time,
found pepper spray in my friend's car, picked it up,
thought it was perfume and.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Was like, what is this? Sprayed it all of us.
It took all of us out in the mill the street.
It was terrible pepper spray.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Wow, I've never experienced pepper spray ever.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Want to and water does not help it, by the way, No.

Speaker 4 (02:38):
It does not. Awful lot, well, hold on, it does
not froggy.

Speaker 6 (02:42):
You've been pepper spray. I did so when I was
I'm trying to think how oldough was. It had to
be nineteen ninety five four, nineteen ninety four. I was
working at a supermarket and I was outside getting I
was on cart duty. I went to go get the
carts out of the parking lots and then smash into
your car. And this lady was taking groceries out of
the cart putting him in her car. I went to

(03:02):
approach her, and I did come from behind to take
the cart. When she was done, she turned around and
pepper sprayed me in the face because she thought I
was trying.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
To take her curse or something. Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (03:11):
And I had to go to that like they had
this thing inside the store where the fountain the shoots
in your eyes, and it had a solution that actually
helps it, but it took a long time. Water does nothing.
If anything gone, it makes it worse.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
It's horrible.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Do you think we should install a pepper spray station
here at the studio just in case someone pepper spray
so long?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
No?

Speaker 5 (03:31):
Yeah, I do my purse. Did anyone get out of line?

Speaker 4 (03:34):
Oh my god? Anyone else here on the show pepper spray?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
No? No? Does it go? Like? So I keep pepper
spraying next to my bed in case, like somebody breaks
in the middle of the night. Yeah, Like, would it
stop a criminal or are they just like, oh man,
I need some water.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
I think it would stop a stop.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Oh no.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
It's awful instant blindness.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
But it's also not just your eyes, any part of
your face that it hits. It burns you cannot breathe
because you breathe it in and you're just choking. I mean,
I would imagine a criminal would stop. If a criminal
comes through that, just die, You're gonna die.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
I feel like we all should have that on us
at all times.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
I got his gee chain or something.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Well, I bought a ton of Costco so if.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
You want more, god, I'd like one.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Well, Claudine, thanks for bringing this up. You know, you
weren't the only one who texted us about that. A
lot of people were like, wait, what.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
What it was? Just so it was so funny. Everybody
was like, oh no, gonna got pepper spread whatever.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
As Danielle said, you know, we rarely we were rarely
ever surprised at anything that happens to Gandhi or because
of Gandhi. Because so there's that. All right, Well, thank
you very much, Claudine. Thanks for clearing it up. But
thanks to you now we all know and you have
a great day, and thank you for listening to us.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Oh of course, love thoughts on the side, and thank
you Claudine.

Speaker 5 (04:51):
That's so nice.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
There you go, Thank you, Claudine. Have a great day,
and there you have it.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Yeah, I guess sometimes we just we get rolling so
fast we do some things are said, and we just
keep rolling.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
Like remember the time my arm was cut off by
the way, what you lost your arm?

Speaker 5 (05:08):
What go back to that
