(00:01):
Today's Daily Highlight from Elvis Duran inthe Morning Show. All Right, so
we are talking about how this listof most envied jobs is quite juicy.
I don't know if you guys sawit. No, I got it from
Nate, who got it from somewhereonline. We'll get to that in a
minute. But and I'm thinking,gosh, I don't know if I would

(00:23):
rather do what we're doing now ordo number number well ten or number five
or number I mean, there's alot of I don't know. Look,
we do have a dream job.I was trying to text in the back
of an uber yesterday and I went, oh my god, this street is
so bumpy. It was New YorkCity. Of course, I was trying

(00:43):
to send a thank you to allthe people at Atlantis that welcomed us with
open arms because of our job, because of our career. We got to
go to Atlantis for the weekend.Right, That amazing? What a dream
job. I mean, why wouldwe want to do anything else. I
mean, we get spoiled. Ithink we get spoiled in this job sometimes.
Oh my god, I think thatall the time. We have the

(01:04):
best jobs ever. We get towork with fun people, we get to
meet fun people. We get todo fun things like what else do you
want? And we eat all thetime. Well there we do, and
drink. We're always merry. Allright. Well this is from a website
called hostingadvice dot com, which Idon't know what they know about envied jobs,
but they did a survey and solet's see what their survey came up

(01:26):
with. The countdown is on mostenvied jobs. Cheese artisan. What a
cheese artisan? What does a cheeseartisan do? Well? Do you?
I guess you make cheese? Ohart teasonal cheese. I mean, I'm
not saying you're working at the CraftAmerican cheese factory, No, but you

(01:49):
go through the cheese process, thefresh dairy and then the culturing and or
whatever it is they do do tomake cheese. But it is, it
is a science. It's it's likemaking wine, but you're making cheese.
That could be interesting if you're intocheese. Yeah. Number nine a video
game developer. Oh that would beawesome. Yeah. I have a friend
that did that and they would workfor like three months straight doing this game

(02:15):
and then they'd be off for liketwo months. That's awesome and make a
lot of money. I guess whydid you think it would be a fun
game, Kandi, Oh, becauseyou get to do so much creatively,
Like it's hard to do things withreal people, but when you have action
figures or cartoons, you can stepoutside the box of normality and do crazy
things. And I think that wouldbe awesome. You be so creative.
So it's not like you're directing aplay on a stage. The stage has

(02:38):
it's very confined. It's on thatstage. In the world of video and
digital you can do anything. Yeah, you can morph from a human into
a butterfly and to a dog, whatever you want to do. It would
be so cool. On the listof most envied jobs, the countdown is
on, and I thought of Gandhiwhen I saw this one. Number eight
environmental scientist. I would love thatbe so cool. I mean, I'm

(03:00):
friends with a couple of them, and the stuff that they get to do
is just amazing and it would begreat. They have a lot of schooling
in their back block at definitely, and you're learning on the job as well.
Not only are you learning about theenvironment and all of the beasts and
the plants that make up the environmentand this and that, but also you're
obviously trying to figure out ways toprotect the environment. Yeah right, and

(03:23):
you're on site all the time gettingto experience really cool things and go out
into nature. I would love it, okay. Number seven, and I
hope I don't get any back flaton this on the Most Envy Jobs list,
social media influencer. I knew thatwas going to be on there.
Scary would love that, dude.If I wasn't doing this, I would

(03:45):
try and be a social media influencer. Well, the argument is we are
sort of that in a way.Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was
actually talking to a couple of myfriends who do marketing and they work with
a lot of influencers, and theywere saying that there's much more value in
influencers when they have a day jobto back up what they're doing. So

(04:08):
if you actually came from a backgroundthat made you popular and then because of
that now you've got this influence,it's different than if you just woke up
one morning and we're like, Iwant to do a travel blog. Yeah,
this makes sense, okay. Numbersix a craft brewer. Oh may
I address this out in Santa Fe. There is a craft brewing you know,

(04:29):
it's one of the restaurants. Youknow, a brew restaurant, and
they're typical, right. The guythat owns this place his story as such,
He used to be a financial guideWall Street, New York City,
and then one day, and we'veheard this story many times, they go
different directions just to get out ofthat rat race. He ended up learning
how to brew beer, moved outto Santa Fe, opened his own brewery.

(04:51):
Now he surrounded it with a littlerestaurant like a pub, and he
is happier than ever in his entirelife. He says, it's a lot
of work, and if if youlove beer, I can see how that
could really be a plus. Right, yeah, totally, all right,
I'm gonna stop here. We havefive, four, three, two and
one. No, no, I'mgonna I'm gonna pause a pause in the

(05:12):
action. It's halftime. Bring outthe marching band. It's halftime. Okay,
thank you, scary turn that off. Don't know where that came from.
Before I get to the next five, let's take guesses on the most
envy jobs. Do you guys wantto guess what's on the lists or to
talk about your most envy job thatshould be on the list. Is some

(05:35):
sort of like animal rescuer, animaltrainer on there. I do see an
animal related thing on there. Okay, okay, forget about what's on the
rest of the list. What wouldyou like to see on the list?
In your opinion, would be ajob that you would envy. Oh,
I would love to be an animalrescuer, like the people who save you
know, a dolphin that's been injuredfrom a nut or something, and then

(05:55):
they rehabit and they send it backout into the wild. Old amazing.
Oh there you go, there yougo, Froggy. What do you think
something that you would love to do. I always think like people who are
travel tour guides, Like, let'ssay you go somewhere that you're not you
don't know anything about. Yet yougo there and they know everything about that
area and they tell you about itand they immerse you in their culture and

(06:15):
all the stories of how they live. I always think that is such a
cool job because that person does thatevery day and you're just there one day.
Wow. So it's the travel industry, or at least hyper focusing on
the region that you know very well. My friend Grace, listen to what
she did. I want to haveher home when she's in New York City.
She worked for a travel agency inChicago, and I think I've talked

(06:39):
about her to you guys, Andthey did sort of high end and medium
end travel. It was all women. Only women worked in this travel agency,
and each woman in there had aspecific part of the planet Earth that
they specialized in. They had theItaly specialist, the Indonesia specialist, they
had you know what I'm saying. They're all women, they're all good friends.

(07:00):
She went off to start her ownagency. She's in Miami, in
the Miami region right now. Stillall women, and they it's just the
same recipe. They all have theirfocus, just like you're talking about.
Froug cool. That's cool. Ilove that, Danielle. A job that
you would love to do. SoI have three, I have four,
all right, let's do it.One is performing on Broadway. I think

(07:20):
that's probably the coolest job ever. One is performing at Disney, because I
think that is the coolest show ever. But the other two are a Disney
travel agent because this is a Disneyexpert and they get to go to the
parks all the time and experience everythingand then stand your trips and all kinds
of stuff like that. She likewhat Froggy was talking about, but you
know your your spot, right. And then an entertainment director, so like

(07:44):
somebody who plans the parties or theevents at like a place or an organization,
or you know, even on acruise ship like something like that.
Somebody who's in charge of the entertainmentand just organizing the events and the fun
stuff. Love that. That couldbe a lot of fun work, though
you know that all these things weenvy do entail a lot of work for
sure. All right. Yeah, scary food critic or wine critic, and

(08:07):
I think those are on the list. One of those have to be.
But that would be my dream joboutside of this. You do not on
the list, damn it, youwould do well. I think maybe you
should start with food because you don'treally know a lot about wine. I
don't. I mean, we knowif it's good or bad. That's all
we know, you know what I'msaying, Well, I know, but
this gives you an opportunity to golearn, you know. Uh gandhi,
Yes, I have another one.Yes, I think it'd be really fun

(08:30):
to be one of the people whogets to review new resorts that pop up.
So I guess, I guess sortof. That would be like a
travel blogger. But when they say, like, oh, come check out
this ship before it cruises, comecheck out these I would love to do
that. That'd be awesome. Yeah, and there are people that do that.
If you go to TikTok or YouTube, actually YouTube, there's a ton
of they call them travel channels wherethese influencers or I guess you would call

(08:52):
them that. Yeah, I've beenwatching a lot of ones from Bali.
A lot of Europeans and Americans aretraveling to Bali not for a week,
but for like a three month thingamazing, and they tell you all the
good and the bad that's needed. The travel industry loves people like that.
Jared Online nineteen calling it in fromWest Palm, Hi, Jared, Hello

(09:13):
lady, Well hello lady. Soyou say people envy your side job a
lot. I love what you dobecause I've actually had people experience what you
do. Tell everyone what you do. Yes, So it's in a little
niche job. But people need theirpets or dogs or puppies or kids transported
from point A to point B.So I will hop on a flight early

(09:33):
morning and pick up a puppy andlet's say Atlanta and go to Seattle,
Washington and drop off the puppy andturn around and come home. So I'm
a puppy flight Nanny's what they callme, a puppy flight nanny. I
love that. It's so cute. You get to work with pets, you
get to travel. It's like twoof our favorite things other than you know,
food and booze. But absolutely andmy wife say, a reputable French
bulldog breeder. So I delivered forone of her friends, and one of

(09:56):
her friends told her friends, andtheir friends told their friends, and mine
travel across the ponds in the UnitedKingdom, so I do all over the
world. Wow, so Jared,I mean, how many pets do you,
uh nanny on flights? Let's sayper month? Is there an average
number? Oh? I probably doabout eight to ten. So it's a
side job. I prayed too muchon the weekend, so I'd say about

(10:16):
eight to ten, depending on whatthe volume is. The money money is
the money good for that? Andit does it depend on the breed of
dog? Like man, did youget more for certain breeds? Nope,
I'm pretty fair. I charge basedon my time and travel and of course
airline flight tickets depending on the cost. But I do it on the side
as a side job, and Imake more money than I do during my

(10:39):
normal job. There we go,good for you. Let's here for Jared.
Dream job, dream job, dreamjob. Jared is his new name.
All right, Jared, thank youvery much. All right, go
catch that flight. Appreciate you.Gotta get that pikoniese up to Seattle.
I was thinking I would love todesign hotels. That's going to take a

(11:01):
lot of work to get up tothat, but I always love going to
great hotels. The experience you havewhen you go there, the back of
house is just as important as thefront of house that we all see.
So I think they coming up withthat experience that you can create. It's
like creating a production, but it'sin a hotel where people stay and there

(11:22):
you go. Okay, let mefinish with the envy jobs. Ready,
Yeah, so far we gave youcheese artists and video game developer, environmental
scientists, social media influencer, andcraft brew or number five a vineyard manager
and winemaker. Yes that I havefriends that do that, and it is

(11:43):
a lot of hard work. There'sa lot of environmental science that goes into
that a lot, a lot ofit, and there you go. Number
four a luxury real estate agent. So you only handle the high end houses.
Keep in mind, but you're alsodealing with high end client, which
could be I ask your husband,Daniel. Yes, the difference between someone

(12:05):
looking for a house, it's liketwo three hundred thousand dollars versus someone looking
for a house that's twenty or thirtymillion. Yeah. I mean they have
shows, they have shows on TV. The car yep, them on the
ten most envied jobs list. Numberthree adventure tour guide. That's another gandhi
thing. Look at that adventure let'sdo it. That's like a bear grills

(12:26):
job. Hell yeah, it'd beso fun. I know nothing about it,
but I would try. I mean, how many times have you been
on Let's see, Look when yougo on ncl A cruise and you go
to Alaska. They have people thatlive in Alaska that do nothing but take
you on glacier tours. Amazing andthe US. They used to work,
you know, they used to beaccountants in Oshkosh, Right right? All

(12:48):
right? Number two, are youready for the top two and most envy
jobs? A chocolate tier? Oh? Hell, yeah, yeah, come
with me. Wo'd be amazing. She makes chocolates and eat them and share
them and come up with new recipesand new designs. And there was a

(13:11):
show on last night this guy wastalking about, Oh he's a pasta tier.
I guess you would call him that. He's in the New York area.
Actually he develops the most incredible beautifulpastas and he sells them in a
small batch, making a crap tonof money. Man. Wow doing and
number one the most envy jobs awildlife photographer. Yeah. Yeah, they

(13:35):
get in there. They do thecoolest stuff. And I love when I
because I follow so many of them. When the animals just kind of start
to like them or sit on theirheads while they're taking photos, I love
it, yes, or try tomaul them. You do see these incredible
and incredible productions on Animal Planet, this and that. Apparently you need to
have a lot of patience if you'rea wildlife photographer. Yep, because you

(13:56):
just got to sit there and waitfor the cougar to walk by. I
interviewed a guy who does nature documentariesfor Disney. That was my first podcast
interview, and he said they willput three months into one episode. Like,
that's how long it takes to captureall this stuff. Sometimes even longer
than that. It's like the birdingpeople. I remember my mom going birding
and my dad was with her,and these people are just standing there staring

(14:20):
at nothing. My Dad's like,I don't understand what's happening here. My
mo I was like, well, you have to wait for the birds,
and my dad's like, come out. I'm not gonna sit there waiting,
but he's done for me. Youcan't wait, you can't wait, you
can't check the flight schedule at Newercare Port for birds. Well, there

(14:41):
you go. You know, Scarybrings up a good point. Something tells
Scary that the most envy jobs onthis list vary a lot from the highest
paid jobs on another list. Well, sure, on that list right there,
that's really high pay, because thenthat's the best of both wores.
Yes, Well that's the point though. If you're working now just to pay
the bills, and sometimes that's whatyou have to do because of the circumstances

(15:01):
in which you're living, right versusdoing something you'd be willing to give up
a fat paycheck for. But itmakes you so happy and satisfied that's that's
where you got to like, that'sthe intersection, right. I guess that's
really a jet ski company and likeall of us just run the jet skis
for tourists and stuff and be inthe sun and the beautiful weather and just

(15:22):
driving around the jet ski. Yeah, there you go. Is that all
he does? Though? It does. That's cool hence the name. That's
a cool business jet Ski. That'sright. It's like I'm cheese artisan Elvis.
Why not, I'm Disney planner Danielle. Yeah, you are, you are
