All right, you're at jingle Ball. Your breakout song Stargazing
came in twenty twenty four and became obviously this international hit.
How does it feel right now to see it's still
connecting with audiences.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
It's wild, isn't it.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
I mean, I wrote this song sort of in the
middle of nowhere with some friends, not thinking it would
turn into the song that it has, and I mean
it's still going all the way to this day, so
it's really awesome to snow people of it.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
I heard a rumor that you knew you were famous
when you asked the audience for cookies and you went
to your dressing room and then tons of cookies showed
up like minutes later.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
Yeah, I mean, I still don't call us all famous,
but I call us like I'm not cookie one sor.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I guess that was wild.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
I never thought that cookies would arrive at a request
on Instagram.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
It was a pretty weird thing, but I loved it.
Speaker 1 (01:18):

artists walking around everywhere. Is there someone you would love
to collaborate with.

the middle of nowhere with your friends, can you explained
to me the middle of nowhere?
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Middle of nowhere was Malibu?
Speaker 5 (01:52):
It was the first time the middle it is I
saw three people in ten days. That was for me,
that was a middle of nowhere, but it was beautiful
and it was so amazing to you know, create a
song in that environment and for it to be as
beautiful as I guess the scene.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
You're looking at, but as you were doing this and
you're kind of experiencing fans and the culture of the
different genres, do you have a favorite?
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Oh, favorite genre?
Speaker 4 (02:16):
You know what, I would be lying of us that
I do because I'm in love with so many different genres,
you know, whether it be rap or old school R
and B, or screamer or punk. Like I'm just a
lover of music in itself, and you know, I think
through my music, I can never quite place the genre
because I listen to so much music.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
You're so diplomatic. I cat here, you should say it's us.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
It's working in the office.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
It is jingle ball. So we are celebrating the holiday season.
Do you have a holiday tradition that you do every year?
Speaker 4 (02:46):
I make sure I'm with my family every single year.
Like I can't think there's no contention or no competition
for family time, so I always make that space.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Free for them.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (02:55):

what we're doing here right now in New York.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Say, oh yeah, it's so much bigger here, like you
feel Christmas walking.
