I went into the shop and asked for Thames. Oh
my gosh, how embarrassing. I'm that mum.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Hip Hop Mystery and.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Today's Hip Hop Mystery celebrates the story behind an incredible
song in nineteen ninety four when virtually every R and
B and soul singer and the industry who was a
male came together under the name Black Men united to
record the song you Will Know song In there you
had boys to Me and Brian at Night, Christopher Williams,

(02:37):
Joe Keith Sweat, Little Usher, he was little there, Little Usher.
Lenny Kravitz was on the guitar. It was huge. We
also have the Voldemort of R and B you know
who I'm talking about, Silk, as well as Raphael Sedik.
So this song was actually brought together and was for
the soundtrack to this movie. Jason's lyric. Listen out for
Jada Pinkett's voice.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
I don't want my heart broken.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
What you're going to do if you keep trying to
save a brother that don't want to be saved?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
You need no, I need you Jason's lyric.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
We did I Jason's lyric.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Now.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
This song was huge and as Queen Latifa said at
the nineteen ninety five American Music Awards, it was a
song with a purpose.

Speaker 6 (03:17):
A few months ago, more than forty talented R and
B artists got together with a very special mission. They
recorded an inspiring song for Jason's Lyrics soundtrack soundtrack about
young Brothers Coming of Age. You will know as a
positive anthem that illustrates the power of unity.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Proceeds through sale.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Of this top ten hit will be given to the
Unitedly Real College Fund, the.

Speaker 6 (03:38):
Rewinding Relief Phone, and the Children's Defense Phone to gather.
These men are responsible for selling over one hundred million
records worldwide.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
So incredible and also it raised money for important causes.
And then at the nineteen ninety five American Music Awards,
they had a live performance that I want you to
listen to now, knowing you are hearing live Tim Campbell,
Al DeBarge, Gerald Leavert, Raphael Wiggins from Tony Tony Tone,
Brian McKnight and Stokely.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
When I was a young.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
I have been under the fame. They were wow, they
were free, and they were plastered with my name, and.

Speaker 7 (04:19):
I saw us to see the world is called.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
And my dreams left me and.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I got stronger Raphael, Brian McKnight. I know it's Stephen Campbell.

Speaker 6 (04:38):
There and right now, and I don't see anything.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
But what you may not know about this uplifting track.
It was actually written by DiAngelo so he had written
this song as a demo as he was trying to
get signed, so he didn't have any songs himself. But
here he was in a studio with some of the
absolute greats.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
You basically have all these vets and you're the kid.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
How was that? How are those sessions? They were fun?

Speaker 8 (05:11):
They were really really fun, and everyone it was Black
Men United, so there was no everybody kind of left
their eagles or some left the door.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
So written by DiAngelo for a great cause, it was
a moment.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
It is still a jam.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
And if you don't know, now you know Black Men United,
you will know.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Foost up for the So Sick sing Off? We have
Tava Morninger Morning.

Speaker 4 (05:37):

Speaker 9 (06:24):

let me just set the scene. Let me just set
the scene. Is dedicated to my kids, who are so
negative and like lack resilian, So that's just for them.

Speaker 7 (06:40):
Resilience this guy, Come on, Grace, I am so sick
of down is the negativity?

Speaker 9 (06:52):
Yeah, I'm so sick of complaints mooning myrtles. Yeah, I'm
so sick of I'm greatful to spend no gratitude. Why
can't you just change your attitude?

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Because I look at you like mom, I can't believe radio.

Speaker 9 (07:12):
I know the crinching of the card. I was like, God,
doesn't he gratitude?

Speaker 3 (07:17):
Change your attitude?

Speaker 8 (07:20):
Grace?

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Okay, Grace, all right, Renee, are you ready to tell
us what you were so sick off?

Speaker 2 (07:25):
But a song I a fino.

Speaker 10 (07:31):
X to follow. I think I'd like to sit the
scene too. Two moms strips broke contrastrovide us all of
the blues, name it, We've got it. So I'm just
so sick of winter yayay.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Off.

Speaker 10 (07:55):
I'm so sick winter of the bugs go in every time.
I've been six for two months and I'm still sick
right now. I send my kids to tuna, they bring
bugs right home. Give it to them. Mum, I forgot
the words because my kids are cringing.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Okay, it's totally okay. And kids, you know, she's just
so sick of you being sick. And that's true, that's
so relatable. All of those, all of those are so good.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Right.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Oh, okay, I'm going begs not. I made the hard
call on the first day.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I made the decisions. You guys always skip out when
I'm here.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
You are so sick.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Okay, I was so sick.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
So I will choose the winner of the So six
sing off going to Neo winning a double pass ist.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
You just scraped through with that last little flavor part.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
You know.

Speaker 9 (09:05):
Or else?

Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yeah, but of.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
Yeah, all came together, so you have a double pass
the Neo Live Saturday the fifth October at Spark Arena
in Oakland. Thanks for Live.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Nation, all right.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Scrolling through the net, okay, I see this young little
boy who ran up to Lebron James, who is his hero,
and he was disappointed.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
Why he runs up to Lebron, Lebron, le Bron, can
we take a photo? He's like don't do that. He
puts his hand on He's like, don't do that, don't
do that.

Speaker 5 (09:41):
Ignores the kid walks into the restaurant, to the bar
whatever it was, the club, and he starts dancing his
way in, starts high fiving, dapping up like everyone else,
but the little kid. You know, it put me in
a position where I was like, bro, if that was
my son, Bro, you know, just imagine how big of
a fan is of Lebron. And then he comes home

(10:02):
and it's just so upset, and these are saying, there goes.
You know, don't meet your heroes because you're just going
to be let down. Don't let you down, you know
what I mean. So we had this conversation. I just
bought this up because I felt they need you know,
your parents. They said, if your daughter or your son
was it done by a fan, how would you feel
as a parent.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Oh, I feel bummed out for them, But more it's
their disappointment and going, oh this is someone I really
looked up to one hundred and like, oh no, they
just really bummed them out. And I know, you know,
people are busy, but you know there might be a backstory.
Probably the internet will find out but yeah, meeting your heroes,
you do have to be careful because it might not
be what you've kind of sort of built up in

(10:41):
your mind.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
Well, I'm going to be Devil's advocate right now because
I feel as though, like, why is this kid outside
of restaurant late at night waiting for Lebron?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
How did he know that he was going to be there?

Speaker 4 (10:51):
You know, clearly Lebron's going somewhere and also running up
and like hugging and grabbing onto someone is a bit
it is fowed. I haven't seen the video, so I
don't know how old the kid is, but imagine how
many people go up to Lebron James. Imagine how many
people are trying to touch him and grab him on
a daily basis everywhere he goes.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
And it could have just been who knows what was
happening with Lebron that day? Who knows? No, I get that,
I get that when it.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
Doesn't change the fact though, that one could now no
longer has Lebron as his idol.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
But see, the thing is I understand that as a superstar,
you you know, you're a busy man. Something could have
happened on the way there and it was just the
timing of everything. But it's not going to hurt you
to spend five seconds of saying hello to a lord
kid dinner.

Speaker 3 (11:37):
We just always remember it so people can meet the
hero and get disappointed. You've heard of this happening two A.

Speaker 5 (11:42):
Yeah, well likely I have. And it's happened to me
one of my heroes. And I'm not going to say
his name because we now know each other, you know.
And it happened to me and in the music scene,
and I would say, Hi, this is pre three houses
down and it was that exactly that nice's too call

(12:05):
for school, And I was like, bro, you know what.

Speaker 3 (12:08):
Clue who it was?

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I know who it was? You know who it is?

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Oh no, I did just say it. He's not from here.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
No, he doesn't want to.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
He doesn't want to, Okay, yeah, but he's not from here.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Yes, yeah, I had to lip it. I had a mouth.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Hey, maybe we'll put a video up later and you
can take a kiss at who it is.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Yeah, maybe he's in Kingstontown anyway, but no. No. Also,
we were talking about this yesterday producer and his brother
met Richie mccaur a. Yeah, so it's Richie mcaury and Richie.
We didn't have no time for him, and that was
a moment where his hero meeting his hero was a
let down.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
He wrote, many heroes, I think I met people from
Shortland Street once upon a time, and a few of
them are like a bit cold.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
When I was younger, I was such a mega fan.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
And if you are a mega fan of Justin Bieber
of Christina Aguilera, sorry met both of them, little spoilt
little brats.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Nah you had an interview with somebody that was sort
of the same. Oh yeah, it was Khalifa.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
He was so disappointing, and it was someone that was
so excited for. I planned, I'd prepped, I knew, I
knew in my heart that these were going to be
good questions. It was going to be a good interview
because I knew him well, felt like I did anyway,
And when the time came, he had been doing this
thing on online called like the Kush Series and basically was,

(13:29):
you know, smoking quite a bit before he did the
interview with me.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
But it wasn't really that because it was his demeanor.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
He was really short, gave one word answers, clearly didn't
want to do the interview, and I just felt really
disappointed that someone that I'd looked up to just gave
me absolutely nothing.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
There's a big build up, Yeah, a big build up.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
So we want to know, have you ever meet your
idol and it didn't go great?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Let us know?

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Eight two double or eight hundred full flavor? There has
to be some always out there, has to true. I
think they say never meet your heroes. Have you ever
met an idol and you've been completely lit down? Ticks
on eight to double O says I met some of
the Aussie in our boys and they wanted nothing to

(14:16):
do with me. Oh maybe it was the fact that
I was telling them they played like, oh.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Yeah, is that is that someone who's never played in
or knowing all the things.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Like especially when you're on the couch and just couch coach,
cauch coach, I want to tell you the story.

Speaker 3 (14:33):
Guys, are you canna tell us that story?

Speaker 5 (14:35):
This is it's happened to me on several occasions, and yeah,
the tears off air, you know, but we're going to
just leave it there.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
But this has happened to me.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
So what you're going to leave it there? Or you
are going to tell us I.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
Want to tell you another another time you got yeah, okay,
this is an Hawaiian reggae artist, you know, group to
be exact, And we were at the Alt Hotel. We're
touring of it then in Hawaii two thousand and I
will say this is two thousand and nine, twenty ten,
and these guys were blowing up.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
They blew up here in New Zealand. The band's called
Cloic you just named I did.

Speaker 5 (15:15):
And I want to do it, and you know I
love their songs. And we played with him at a
hotel and all I wanted was the photo because I
had this new iPhone. But it was just like having
a photo on Facebook was a thing because it's no
it's no part.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
You were if you were, if you were posting on
the book at that time.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
No point talking about it if you didn't have a
photo or there's no evidence. So I got to the
lead sing and I know him really well, now Roman,
ok can we take a photo? Like you know, I
go out to him like a little fan, like please,
can we take this photo?

Speaker 2 (15:50):
And he was looking at me like, bro, what are
you doing here?

Speaker 5 (15:53):
Like you know, it was just giving me that that
looked like bro, just get out, they come and take
a photo.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
It was like, can I take a guy three times?

Speaker 5 (16:01):
And he's like no, no, no photos?

Speaker 3 (16:05):
So what were you doing do you? Can you do anything?
Just no photos?

Speaker 5 (16:08):
Like I think it's the fact that a guy, you
know it, goes into their green room, our green room.

Speaker 4 (16:14):
You should have introduced yourself first and said we're in
the green room next to you.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
No, no one said they knew randomly, you know, so
you were artists because the fire was playing there too,
So it's like, hey, guys, can I just take a
photo and staring at me?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
But you got past that because your friends you said.

Speaker 5 (16:33):
Yeah, Well now that we're toured all this time, now
it's yeah, I don't no longer need their photo no
more because it's just like, brah, that's two thousand and nine,
CAUs you know back.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
There you're an artist, Charlie. Mine's so embarrassing. I meet
Israel Adasanya, uh yeah, And basically I saw him get
a photo with one of my friends that I was
there with, and then when I said, oh, me too,
he said no, the photos only for him, that he
can only get a photo.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Only only saying yeah, right, okay.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
It's fine, like you know where we were, probably why
he didn't want to take many photos.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
But it is what it is. I hate being pie.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
This is what.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
And you know what, I never asked for photos.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
I never asked the photos when I meet someone because
I do get shy. I'm so scared of the rejection
that i won't ask for the photo.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Yeah. I don't like that either. And and so when
we met Jason more Moore through Scott's cousin Tim, I
just wanted to the kids couldn't come, and I was like, oh,
we should do this for the kids. And I said, oh,
could you just say how to our kids? And he said,
now you'd be in a turn out. Yeah. It just
looked like a weird auntie spread anti Hia.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
It's for your own kids.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
It came like mum, get out.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Yeah they were. They're like, mum, get out.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
The way I got rejected, like for the photo. Do
you know what I wanted to say? I wanted to screen,
like walk out of the green room and say.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Yeo, be back, yeo back stayce A, Zorah and Charlie.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Winning us to talk about daffodil Day. We have silverfern.
Mile Wilson, Nada no, my height.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
Am I so good to see you. So Daffidil Day
this is massive. And you were saying that you've been
working with Day and Zaid you know, they are part
of your totalal team for a long time. So how
does it feel to be able to work on Daffodil Day,
especially with them?

Speaker 4 (18:29):
Oh, such a full circle moment.

Speaker 11 (18:31):
Something that is Dafitil Day or cancer and cancer Society
in particular New Zealand is something affects one in three people.
Everyone who's everyone is either directly impacted by cancer or
they know someone who has. So for me and my story,
my mother had lung cancer and twenty twenty in Lockdown
had a third of her lung taken out. And then

(18:53):
my grandmother before her head breast cancer, non HODGKINSLM foma
and leukemia was the thing that ended up taking her
away from us. So something Yeah, how cool to be
able to use my platform and to breece some life
into such a cool copa part.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
That is defit all day and your mum's okay.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
Still talks too much, but she's still there.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
You're like, oh, there's still a lot of lung left.

Speaker 11 (19:18):
There's still a lot of singing to go. So if
you know any Maori family, it's a guitar in new hand.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
That's so awesome And so as a fin No, what
do you see as kind of the benefits of say,
the Cancer Society and the way that people can be
supported if we text donate to two four four two.
What does it really look like the support?

Speaker 11 (19:36):
Yeah, I think for us it's a lot about wrapping
uffy and total or around people through a really hard time,
whether it's resourcing such as counseling or just that helping
hands some final struggle getting to their appointments, and there's
that awesome person who can pick you up, drop you
off and give you a little bit of monarchy and
a little bit of uffy because this is such a
sensitive time in someone's journey and it's not just the

(20:00):
individual that's having to live through this but the wider far.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
No, so how cool to be out to support.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
My nan gets driven up to the hospital when she
goes to get her maloma, her former cancer treatment. So yeah,
that's so helpful because she stays on it. She stays
on her own stubbornly, she wants to stay there on
her own, in her in her home. So in order
for her to get all the way to Auckland, it's

(20:26):
the safest thing is to have someone else drive her.
So it's incredible to have those sort of resources and
it's so important for you know, people to donate exactly
for those sort of reasons.

Speaker 11 (20:37):
Yeah, and I definitely think like a lot of the
campaign this year is every daffitil counts, So whether it's
you're going to the supermarket and you see the collectors
out there, or whether it's so easy these days to
go online. There's a really easy platform on the website
to be able to donate. But yeah, just making sure
that people know it's not just a token thing, like

(20:58):
it really goes to change these people's lives and make
a really stressful and hard time just a little bit
easy on people.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
Yeah, So as you say, you can text donate to
two four four two and.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
No doubt half a Fitness is all a part of
it and what I should people think about.

Speaker 11 (21:14):
It's about being fit and healthy, going to the gym,
having to run the shuttles that I don't want to do.
A lot of it actually is about making sure that
you're going to the doctors and getting checked up. I know,
for a lot of our fino that that can be
daunting just going to a doctor. So for me, I know,
to make sure that I'm being able to get out
there on court.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
I need to make sure that.

Speaker 11 (21:34):
The engine's working the way it should be, that it's
not a shameful thing to be able to go to
the doctor and even just ask a question. So for me,
it's making sure that, yeah, ticking all those boxes, the
more that we can have these open and honest conversations
with our own fino and our own backyard, or make
these conversations easier, like for our coma to aquilla who
maybe are a bit shy to tell you what's going on,

(21:57):
or yeah, just making sure that's it's about raising a
when I say, and educating yourself and that's not scary.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Be like, Maya be brave so we can do it.
So then ad to greet or how a ma, thank
you so much for coming because Daffidil day. We're making
every Dafidil count an't we So you can text donate
to two four four to two.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
They're like, where Maya Willson?

Speaker 3 (22:17):
How many of those videos have you seen? Because pov
I'm training for the Olympics and they're doing like basic
breakdancing inspired by Reagan, the Australian breakdancer. Okay, so we've
seen the mockery. I was saying that. We're like now
people are asking questions, how did Rachel Gunn aka Reagan
get into the Olympics. Well, now, the latest thing is

(22:37):
that there is a petition signed by now thirty thousand
people to hold Reagan and also the shift di mission
of the Australian Olympic team accountable for unethical conduct ethical.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
So they're saying it's like an it's an inside job.
They've got Rachel Gunn to the Olympics.

Speaker 5 (22:58):
This is the crazy thing because you know, I'm so
obsessed about this whole thing, because one is giving me
hopes that I could go to the Olympics and do
things like this. But then again, like the comments are
pretty savage. People are saying that her husband was a judge,
but she was all part of this and helped her
get to the Olympics.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
That's speculation, that's speculation.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
No, well let's have a look at what's written on
the petition if you like. So they say Rachel Gunn,
who set up her own governing body for breakdancing, has
manipulated the selection process. This is what they're saying. This
is the point of view, despite the clear talent and
qualification of other outstanding female breakdancers. And then they name
them she who some of them were denied crucial funding
to get there. Doctor Gunn got there, so she turned

(23:44):
down funding for others to get there. And disturbingly, they
say doctor Gunn went on because she's a doctor, as
she's a lecturer as well, Uni went on to win
her own qualifier, defeating phenomenal breakdancers.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
This is just what did they do investigation?

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Well, they say, if doctor Gunn's husband, like as alleged,
is indeed the Australian coach and part of the selection panel,
this represents a blatant conflict of interest that cannot go unchecked.
And so they have got now what is it, oh,
thirty three thousand signatures.

Speaker 5 (24:18):
Right, even Australia's going at them because you know that
this is the sad thing.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
You're representing a country exactly.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
But you got all this talent that's at the Olympic, yeah,
you know, and they they were shining, but they've been
out shine by Reagun, you know, I mean with her
a little act.

Speaker 4 (24:34):
But what's weird is she clearly thinks she is good
enough to be on the Olympic stage. Because if that
was me and I just wanted a free trip to
Paris and to say I was on the Olympic team,
I would feign sickness the day it comes to performance
because I know I actually can't break dance. So that's
why it's weird to me that she still showed out
up there.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Yeah it's giving de Lulu, well you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (24:55):
Yeah, when you're that audacious, you just got to wear it.
I guess like she she owned what she thought she
was doing. Got to give her that. But if she
literally stopped other people who've got more talent being part
of it.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
So she had some little moments here where I thought, okay,
this is it. Then goes back to like.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
Yeah, well she did the sprinkler. That's all we need
to say. Come on, that is all we need to say.
But we'll update you is the story keeps on unfolding.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
Stays a Zorra and Charlie.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
So as you were saying, there are these men's health Week,
Actually my husband's involved in that, and that's cool. We
need to get men talking about their health and being
proactive about it. And now there's Women's Health Weak as
I've just sent you a link, so there's Women's Health Weak,
Women's Healthweek dot indeed, just set it up teens Health
as you know, launching all of this. The cool thing

(25:47):
about it and the reason why I've volunteered to help
is because it's got lots of conversation status. So things
like did you know that now you don't have to
have you know, having a civical screening is actually just
a swab you can do by self. What, Yes, you
don't have to do the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
It was so traumatic getting that done.

Speaker 3 (26:04):
Well yeah, so I know Charlie got not much to
offer there.

Speaker 5 (26:07):
But that's handy thing is I know, because my wife was,
you know, for the Pacific Island Woman.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
She was like part of the all the pictures in
and advocates.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Oh cool, cool, Yeah, because that's the thing. It's like,
as women, we always get sort of portrayed as the
ones who help everybody else and don't have ourself. So
it's good because it's got all of this information, like
so like I'm what's normal and abnormal when it comes
to period pain, then it's got stuff about menopause. It's
about how to do a check of your breast, so
actually really good information. And then there's also a quiz

(26:39):
where you can find your health personality and it doesn't
take very long. I'm getting a zero to do it now.
I got health nerd and that is so me, like
me trying to go right, but again, all my information
prepped and then go, you know, go to the doctor
and stuff. Not saying that I'm perfect you across it.
I want to be because I want to live for
a long time, especially because my mom died when she
was forty five, so I've already had you know, five

(27:02):
over five years more than her and just don't take
it for granted.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
So's I quite like the questions too, And it's almost
like a lesson in itself. You know, going to the doctor,
you should feel in control and and feel good about
your future and where you're going. It always feels like
you've done something good for yourself and all you did was.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Going to sit in the doctor's room.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
And let's be honest, sometimes you do go to the
doctor and you're like, oh, you know, didn't probably didn't
need to.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Go, but you wouldn't have known that unless you win win.

Speaker 3 (27:34):
Oh I'm nother around and took bloom in weeks and
weeks you guys are going that cough of you, or
you should just get antibot its like yeah yeah, be
like hello, got it and then it was sorted. So
these little things and these big things, And that's what
I like is that it's a conversation starter that could
actually save your life if you just go and get
you know, say a test that you need, or you
just do the little check and go, oh, hang on

(27:54):
a minute. So that means that I'm not actually all good.
Maybe that's not something I should be putting up with.

Speaker 5 (27:59):
But is it hard conversations have as ladies, Yeah yeah,
same as us men. Yeah, you know, so it's just
a matter of getting some weariness around it.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Well sometimes if you can just read an article and
go oh okay, So you know, I was actually wondering
about that. You know, people are telling their personal stories
and stuff about infertility day in Valerie is in there
as well, so it's pretty beautiful. And you also you
go in the drawer for one thousand dollars of Prizzy cards. Actually,
but because you just said, what did you get?

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Is there it says that I love a quick remedy.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
No, look at the top, it's got your Yeah, you're
a quick seeker quick so I'm healthy newd and you're
quick fix seeker.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
So you you're more of a panel or go. Yeah,
oh for.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Sure, you're like not doing the proactive stuff.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
You're just like, yeah, no, just one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
I'm like, oh no, no, I'll slip it off. That's
what I look.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
That's what you've done in the last two days. So yeah,
if you want to tack it out Women's Healthweek, dot
in z uh there wiki ho water waking this, I
look that for you because we love you. Yeah, ladies,
to final order without the walking in the middle.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
The latest celebrity gos from around the world.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Flavor Breakfast, oh m go.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
Okay please ever listened to Doctor J talking about what
we can expect from Snoop Dogg's new album Missionary, which
he's producing.

Speaker 8 (29:18):
I produced the entire album, but locally, I think only
one of them is going to make it, and we.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Have we have like sting on a song. We have.

Speaker 8 (29:27):
Man, it's an amazing roster of artists best on this album.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
So who's saying that only one song that they made
together is going to end up on that out there.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
Maybe I'm not quite sure the context of that, but
did you hear who he's got featuring Sting? What the wow?

Speaker 4 (29:46):
It's like Guitari Death Middlely rock and Roll, not.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Death middle Stag Like every breath I take, you know,
like for instance, that's you know, that's staying in the place. Yeah,
they're a great voice.

Speaker 4 (29:57):
In other news, one of the co founders of Facebook,
you know his name, Mark Zuckerberg. Well, he says, quote
bringing back the Roman tradition of making sculptures of your wife,
and he's put a huge custom sculpture in his backyard
of his wife, Priscilla Chan. It is absolutely messive. People

(30:20):
have had mixed reviews, some saying this is how obsessed
I want my man to be about me. Someone else said,
so much money, don't know what to spend it on?

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Dot dot dot.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Okay, looking at it, Wow, Wow, it's actually a cool
It is a cool sculpture. It's a really cool sculpture,
and it's got a lot of movement in it. It's
got like she's wrapped in a silver kpy thing.

Speaker 2 (30:43):
If you want to.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
See it, you can text MG to eight to two
double low. It is a beautiful sculpture. H Yeah, it's
quite funny because she's also pictured with her own.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Sculpture were in a dressing gown. She's pretty real for that.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Yeah, i'd be quite weird. That guy look is mean
much money?

Speaker 2 (31:04):
That is yours? I swear we're just getting bored as humans.

Speaker 8 (31:09):
One.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
I've seen some food combos that are like whoa, And
I've tasted some food combos that like look weird but
really tastes nice, like, for instance, cream doughnut and a
steak and cheese pipe. You know that's beautifully Yeah, it's
really good. So you put the cream in a French
stick and you put the steak and cheese pip.

Speaker 2 (31:31):
I know, I know, but you need to try it.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
But this the ladies and gentlemen, right, Oreo and Coca
Cola team up to create chocolate soda and fizzy cookie.

Speaker 2 (31:42):
So Coca Cola and Oreos.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Is that like one of those things called like a
spider drink?

Speaker 4 (31:49):
Yeah, I forgot about that coke float spider.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Yeah, with the ice cream, make it all fizzy in there, that.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
Know, I'm what it looks like. It's they're coming in
cookies in the actual cookies.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
That's what it looks like.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
Okay, So the packets, the packet, the packaging.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Actually it's giving yuck.

Speaker 3 (32:13):
Because you know why, because he has to make his point.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
So when you go to the supermarket and you see
an Oreo packet's blue, it's giving some vibrant feel you
want to eat it. But when you look at this,
it's black and it's black on black, is just giving late.
Don't eat me.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
So there's two.

Speaker 3 (32:35):
Two products, the Coca Cola Oreo zero sugar soda, so
the drink and it's got Oreo in it. And then
the Oreo Becky or cookie that is a Coca Cola cookie.
So the apparently it's for a limited time and they're
black and red and that's well, actually they're tongue colors.
That's how you know it's a tin or Oreo.

Speaker 4 (32:57):
You know the reason why I think we're so shocked
just because we are living in America.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
I've just I've just looked at Areo flavors.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
They've got Oreo key Lime Pie, Oreo kettle Corn, Oreo
Love Extra Jallie, Dona Gingerbread, Pepa. These are the eighty
five flavors of a cookies. You know, let's just keep
it real and out the audio audio audio.

Speaker 5 (33:24):
Bro like it's gonna I feel it's gonna be like
the toffee pops in it, Lucris, you know that biscuit flavor.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
Yeah, stop branching out, and they I think, I think
a lot of international brands learn pretty quickly that we
don't want ane of that.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
We don't want it.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
We just want our cookie with the white in the middle,
and then another cookie.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Okay, keep a simple.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
We want a toffee pop the way toppee popper. We
want to squiggle the way squigglers.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
All right, all right, we get it.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
The White House has proposed a new law for one
click subscription cancelations. I want you to let that marinate
in your mind and your heart and your soul. And
I think that this should be everywhere time.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
So one click. So it means like to unsubscribe, you
just want one click, not the whole. Are you sure
you want to unsubscribe? But what if you do it accidentally?

Speaker 2 (34:09):
I don't care.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
They'll figure it out and they'll have to resubscribe. I
don't care the amount of like even just I'm unsubscribing
from apps and subscribing from payment plans and subscribing from emails.
Why is it that you you have to read into
your email you get redirected to another page. Get They
make it impossible because they want you to either keep

(34:30):
your stay money exactly or keep having us new ads.

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Don't leave me, don't leave me. I'm sick of it,
and the fact that they've made this.

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Like government live.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know, I.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
Know that's a bit much.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
Oh hey, I mean I recently went through and unsubscribed
on my emails, and let me tell you, it took time.
In the recent litle time you would see a business
that it really was just one cluck and then you know,
it'll redirect you and it sees thanks you und subscribed.
You didn't have to do anything that go shut out.
I almost want to subscribe.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Yeah, I love you.

Speaker 6 (35:03):
Now.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Feed the backs. That's the saying, isn't it, Charlie. That's
the same stop greedy up the front. Just feed the backs.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Feed the wingers, man. They let them stand out there
and get cold.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Bro Feed the backs. As a Rugby supporter's account on Instagram,
and I pointed something out. They said, as time we
started talking about Wellington's place as a venue for New
Zealand international teams. It's getting out of hand. All Blacks
when they play in Wellington loss, Kiwi team loss, Black
Ferns loss, Black Caps loss, Marty or Black's lost, the

(35:38):
White Ferns lost, the Sevens lost. Wow, the Football Ferns lost,
and they said the only team they could find who
are back in the trend of the All Whites who
won their last game against China at sky Stadium thanks
to a Chinese own goal.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
I did not know this was a thing.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
Well feed the backs knew that. I really did not.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
Know that that was the stats.

Speaker 4 (36:00):
It's funny you say that because then when you look
at you know, the All Blacks at Eden Park.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
They haven't lost at eden Park in almost twenty years.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
So you know, you could you could argue superstitiously it
is where they're playing.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Hello down Yeah for sure. So I think nat they
need to get in there the sky Stadium do or they.

Speaker 2 (36:17):
Put it do kind something out today. Yeah, because this
just we can't have this. We can't have this, we
can't have this.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
Na Okay, we had the All Blacks recently lose to
Argentina at sky Stadium and now they're probably going to
come up to Eating Park and win this weekend.

Speaker 3 (36:35):
See what I'm saying here, I sh boom zoom, you
are now a.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
Tomorrow is a huge day for us here at Flavor.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Actually a huge day for Sonya.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
Yes, because Sonya has one air Flavor now boarding where
is she going? Well tomorrow she finds out it's a
mystery holiday. We're giving one away every Friday this month.
Sonya is coming up from tour. She just has to
choose a suit case and the destination that Jetstar flies
her too will be inside. So Sonya is bringing her mom.
This is going to be so epic thanks to Jet Stars.

(37:10):
So look at the places that they go. It could
be Queenstown, it could be Veg, it could be out
of Tonga, it could be Australia.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
I wonder what they're gonna pack E I know nothing.

Speaker 4 (37:19):
I know because you've got to keep it in wait
as well.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
Yeah, now with your bags, so.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
You can't take everything.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
There's a whole lot to consider, but we're very excited
for that. Tomorrow at eight point thirty, Sonya will be
in studio and she will pick a suitcase.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
Cheers to Jet Stars, spend Less in the year and
more when you're there with low fears at jetsa dot com.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
We'll see you guys tomorrow, Babe Bay.
