was that I needed to go through my contact list
and find the most impressive contact and give them a call.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
And kind of was the success. We just want to
pay our respects to the brother Adam for nor Blake.
He came through it and we go lunch. Also on
the show, what's your role at the family gathering? Are
you that loud auntie or are you her quiet husband?
Listen to it all right now on the podcast at
the mad at the Faro and welcome on into the
show for a Tuesday to a minute to eat. It's

(00:39):

Speaker 3 (01:08):
There were eighteen stations, Damn Daniel, and I was training
with coach Bita, So shout out to coach bit and
her beautiful husband Beuty. There a wonderful couple, and we
all encouraged each other. Can I just say, though the
body is hurting today and I'm a little bit tired,
can you feel sorry for me?

Speaker 5 (01:29):
Please?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Nah?

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Not at all. I don't wait to see you know that?

Speaker 2 (01:33):
That all the socials with you, straggling bro, I want that,
That's what I want.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
I did call them out on my podcast. We'll talk
about that later on in the show. You know what, guys,
I actually took a couple of photos of myself just
you know, after shower picks and then can I just
say the body is coming together?

Speaker 4 (01:53):
I'm I'm very proud of myself.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
That.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yeah, I loved it. Three more weeks left off.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
The Challenge Charlie and Mass is real challenges.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Oh you know what time it is, ladies and gentlemen,
boys and girls all over the world. It's challenge time,
oh man, Mass yesterday. Okay, we got to know each
other through a quiz and every question you got wrong,
you had to take a tablespoon of hot sauce. And
by the way, this hot sauce is one of the
hardest sources in the world.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Oh yeah, sir, It's just one of many challenges that
we've been doing over the course of the last week
in a bet that I've been filling in for Stas
and Desiah and Charlie's gonna take us on another world
of this week. Here we go?

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Are we spinning this?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
There's go mama.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I must say I'm feeling pretty excited because I don't
think this challenge is for me and mess I think
it's for my doc or over her.

Speaker 4 (02:44):
Okay, sripping the envelope offs.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Maz is envelope number five and inside this envelope, today's.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Challenge is here we go. It is for this is
for me.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Okay, this challenge is for Charlie for me. Yeah yeah,
but a better teamwork is still required.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
You know you're a public guy. So it tam past eight.
Your goal is to get the most impressive person from
your context list on the phone. You have one hour
to find someone and make sure they answer their phone
looking forward to hearing it. Oh my gosh, ten past eight.
I gotta go through my context the most impressive person

(03:24):
I have in my context, I'll wring them and they
got to answer the phone.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
Charlie, you are a networking kind of guy. Wow, you
know some famous sass people. I will say you yourself
are famous? Dude?

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Can I just ring myself? I wish you could. I
wish you could.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
This is got to be a bit of a challenge,
because you know why. This is the real challenge. I
lost my phone before and I lost all my contexts.
So okay, this is what I love about this acad
Why tell me why? Whether nerves are creeping up? Time
Puss eight almost an hour from me off, and.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
So we're gonna have to have a chat with them,
I presume on the year.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, there needs to be a proof that we are
friends somehow, not just randomly ring somebody in break and
pretendua this person.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Ooh nah, I reckon. We have some pretty high up
context cause we'll see my cousin. Okay, so have a
look through your phone. We'll check in on that later
on in the show up next. Wow, Charlie, you have
been seeing a challenge, haven't you.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yes, I have, And this challenge is that I gotta
get through a contact list and find the most impressive
person on my contact list? Is that one person or
we're getting one or two?

Speaker 3 (04:43):
I reckon, let's go with one. But we'll want to
narrow down a list of people. You've actually given me
your phone and I'm looking through your contact list right now. Bro,
you have got some pretty heavy hits as you are
famous CAUs Nah Causton. Now, who else did we have?
Drew Deazy, Latsa Vali Junior far Who else have we

(05:04):
got here? Just all the sports people, Nile Williams, Guthrie,
Patrick Marlow, David Litty, Monty Bethany. Okay, we get it,
we get it, we get it. About you cuts, I've
got some names here. I liked the sound of these guys.

(05:24):
I don't know. Maybe maybe I don't know. Let's try
and see if they do pick up. We've got ad
and for Noah Black, brother of ours, brother of ours,
I say, brother of ours like I know the Dora
I've never had. No I've interviewed him once. Oh yeah,
very lovely dude. Biggest man on the internet period.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
He's breaking in it right now with all his content.
He's the man we've got. Caleb Clark. I think I'm
related to kaylerb Bay. Maybe that's something we could talk about.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
We should try and connect that the family tree here.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
And there's also another one right here, just coming off
the top of my mind. Joe found Nassy.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Now you're playing up. You better stop it right now.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Joe has a crush on you.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Better shut your face right now.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Mass And we've done heaps of challenges one every morning.
This morning, our challenge was for Charlie too.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
You gonna ring someone in my contact list. Okay, this
is the most impressive person in the contact list, and bro,
just give them a call and have a chat, right.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Okay, So we've kind of had a look through Charlie's
contact list right now, you've got some pretty phone most
people right now. I think the challenges the time of day,
time of day, man, My people are still sleeping.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
They're still sleeping, man.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
And this is like more here weather right now.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Honestly, if I was to get up and look outside
the window and seeing fog like this, I'm going back
to bed.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
It's cold. But we've got someone who we are gonna
dial right now.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Please pick up.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
His name is Oskang. He's got millions of followers, please.
And this guy's name is Simeon. It is such a
non islander name. Simeon. Please pick up. It's calling right now, Simeon, fight,
please pick up? Pick up.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
I know he's up because he's like, you know, like
doing this whole fitness journey calling calling.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Please brother, Oh it's calling. It's cooling, it's calling. Is
it not picking up?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Nah?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Please at least a voicemail so people know that I'm
being I'm not being built up. So okay, so we're
gonna have to go through and look at the contact
if only gop of sockbro, but I just want to
get this event done with.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
Please, it's going to pass the challenge because what.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
A fair fail, girl, Oh what a fail. But I
am honestly I'm never back down.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
From a challenge.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
If you know, you know, bro, I will take a
challenge two hands.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Broke and run with it. But fortunately this morning we
didn't quite get there at their fun We're gonna tell
you so the challenge this morning, if you're just tuning in,
is that Charlie had to put the most famous person
on his phone contact list to give a ring and
we would see if they would pick up. We had
tried Orskang earlier on and that failed. When I tell

(08:26):
you this, man, Charlie took or you have so many
people on your following, on your contact list, I'm talking
the likes of Fiji Ulskang, Caleb Clark, now, Williams, Guthrie,
Monty Betham, Junior Tougher, justin fun, William Waida.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
I think it's early for all these people. I'm okay,
I'm pretty sad.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
We've got someone on the phone that we are trying
to call right now, and let's hope he picks up.
Please you take this up to hand.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Adam, Adam, Yes, bry you came in and added a
break from the one.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
He's a Warriors.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Thank you, bro. You got me sweating, You got my
sweeting mess. Okay, So, dogd, this is our challenge. Okay,
we spin the wheel every day, and my challenge was
to go through the contact list and find the most impressive.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
And you are the best. Yeah, you are the best, Bro.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
You are the best player in the whole inner row.

Speaker 6 (09:26):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (09:27):
I'm saying that right, Wow.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Wow, and best dogs, Bro, post mylone. I can't ring him, Bro,
he's blocked me, cousin, he's blocked me.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Oh, well, thank you Adam for picking up the phone.
Out of everyone on Charlie's contact list. You brother came
and clutch Brian.

Speaker 2 (09:45):

of training so you can come and talk to me.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Bro, Jim you go back there. Thank you, Bro, Thank
you Adam for joining us. Catch a later. Bye bye, Charlie.
Honestly wrong.

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Can you just and touch my umpets? Bro?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
They're quite sweety right now.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Okay, oh.

Speaker 4 (10:06):

Speaker 2 (10:08):
The moment, Mustard, thank you for Adam, Bro.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Oh my goodness, we got there. We got I'm happy.
How many people did we call? Bro? There were so
many people, So.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Many ticks are being seen out like, hey, don't go
watch you up to also keen to do this? I
need your help, I need your help. Will teach you
a listen, my friends, who's there for you? Yeah, who's
really there for you in your times of needs? Adam
for nord Blake and that training.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Even this player in the looking player in row.

Speaker 4 (10:43):
Stays Zarah and Charlie. We're talking about roles.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
When you're at a family gathering mess, hear me out
here at any family gathering, all of a sudden, you
have a family member that steps up and takes a role. Okay, yes,
and sometimes these roles are not even delegated to them,
but they just put the hand up. Okay, this is me,
and I'm gonna talk about my sister Julie when we
have family gatherings or if we're traveling, for instance, okay,

(11:09):
going overseas for family reunion. As soon as we get
to the airport, you got to bear in mind we
all have our own families. As soon as we get
to the airport, she's the one that goes, okay, everybody,
give me your passport, I'll.

Speaker 4 (11:21):
Go check us in.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
I'm like, whoa, whoa, Okay, fristly bro, who gave my
sister this roll? And she allows, Okay, this is what
we're gonna do, everybody, We all chicken the We're gonna
all go upstairs, eat and straight out. Get sam right.
She's got everything down pat and she has a program
for us. If we're gonna go anywhere, we all got
to meet here, we're gonna get on this bus.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Well, I'm just like, that is such a sister thing
that might have started from when you guys were younger
and she was having to you know she organized that.
Ye assume that role when you guys are little kids,
I can think of the loud unci You know, the
loud uncie who ripe one who growls everyone off. She's
like the yah yeah, yeah, see shanny shats. It's your

(12:01):
mouth's moving a lot like a rats once.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
And then you got like an uncle that when it
comes to you like birthdays and things like that, he's
not really in the crowd.

Speaker 4 (12:10):
He'll be cooking, humble humble one.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
Yeah. And then when he's cooking, he's got on the clothes,
he's got the ppe gear, he's by the or that's
his role.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
And like the conversation always goes like, hey boy, what
do you have to Oh?

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Good God, God doesn't say much.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
You got that ugod.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Then his wife will be the loud one, does all
the talk for her. Made you know what I'm saying.
So add a family gathering, what is your role?

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Yeah, we'd love to know. Give us a text eight
to two double or ring us oh w eight hundred
fourth flavor if theyf I know we know that you
know your role at the family, Yes, we do. Are
you the loud one? Are you that hype cousin? Who
is coming up to the Tawalunga orua and coming to
make a ran with some money. Too loud at those
drink cups. Let us know eight two double, give us

(12:55):
a six or right, oh wite hundred fourth flavor now
and we are talking what is your role at the
family gathering?

Speaker 4 (13:01):
What is your role at the family gathering?

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Like I said my sister, all of a sudden, she's
like our tour manager. We're going with the family on
a vacation to a family re union or whatever.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
She's the one.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Passport and everybody, let's chicken O, we're gonna go eat.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
She's got Excel spreadsheet open. She's taking off. Okay, we've
done this with chicken and go through security. Judy free everyone.
You have five minutes and you're going to the gate.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
She's that girl.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
Oh my gosh, Julie, get it. And coming through onto
the text line eight to two double, someone says, I'm
the one that doesn't show up to the family gathering.
Oh there's always that one, and then you're shot when
they turn up.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
Oh you made it, cause well, okay the hell you
been on the Texas we have I'm the person that
gives the bad news to everybody because my family are
so scared to tell people. And and like you know,
for example, when people are packing food before the next

(14:01):
people eat, she's the person that goes and says, hey,
you can't, guy ful, we got.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
That in time.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
You gotta wait for everybody else to eat. And you know,
you gotta always have that person that plays the good cop,
bad cop.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
And the bear. The good cop would be the one
who encourages the guy fight. And in the tongue on culture,
I mean, you may be ever gether and gathering and
you see all this food on the table and you
just slowly stop putting it.

Speaker 4 (14:29):
Rubbish bag.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
Also on the text eight to dou be low, there's
always that one un Sie who is just with the
kids all the time. And she rocks up there in
the sitting room spinning the whole night together, watching Disney
Channel or some sort.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
And that's just her job, Bay, like she loves it.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Yeah, just a babysitter. What is your role at the
family gathering expert?

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Do you know what my roller is? I'm the emc A.
I'm just a guy, okay, Charlie, Charlie, Like you know,
they'll get my kids well, Betty re call your dad
to come and start the family program.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
I'm like, are they even a So that's my role.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
I would say, I'm the glue. I'm the glue of
the family. I'm the peacekeeper. I don't like drama very
much Switzerland, so there's an argument. I'm I'm the one
doing the talking to each planty and it's supposed to
be a family because sometimes you get into.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
We're talking about if you could only pick one artist,
one artist, because I know you're quite musically inclined and
you know your you know your music.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Oh yes I do, sir.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
But if you have to pick one artist to listen
to you for the rest of your life, who would
it be?

Speaker 4 (15:35):
That is such a good question.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
Only one artist and you can only jam to there
for the rest of your life.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
What would be yours? Other than myself? Because we know
you like yourself. This is this is hard and I
it's living free in my head since you asked me
the question yesterday, right, and I'm going to be honest.
I would say Bob Money, Oh, uncle Bob.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
With Uncle Bob tracks here, he has so many bangers,
and I feel like with Uncle Bob, you'll just be
in a good mood for the rest of your life
automatically just changes your mood. What was the first Bob
Marley song that you listened to?

Speaker 2 (16:21):
Do you remember, Yeah, my first ever Bob Miley song was.
I would say I think it was Three Little Birds. Yeah, yeah,
I think it was Three Little Birds. You can't go
wrong with Uncle Bob. We'd love to know if you
could jam flavor hits one artist for the rest of

(16:41):
your life, who would that be? Give us a text
eight to two double low. Mine would be Charlie Brandy.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
To me, Queen of Iron b In my opinion, I
feel like she's on my Mount Rushmore would have to
be Brandy. Mariah Carey's up there. I want to say
Aliyah too, but Brandy. I just know her songs off
by so many classics. I want to be down. Have
you ever almost doesn't count? You don't love me like

(17:09):
you used to? The boy's mind of coursing up in
my rooms.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Damn best friend. He has some tracks there, She's got
some hits.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Yeah, man, I don't think I realized how big Brandy
was in her day, because not only does she do
the music, she was doing the acting thing. She the
be Cinderella movie. What got you into Brandy? What got
me into Brandy? Honestly being here being surrounded by Brandy
while it made me fall in love with you us
the text eight to two double if if I know,
if you had to listen to one artist for the

(17:39):
rest of your life, who would it be? You're be
forty now here I am.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
These guys will be up there as well.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
We had asked you if you could only jam to
one artist for the rest of your life, who would
that be?

Speaker 4 (17:50):
B A lot of things have come through for Mariah Carey, so.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Guns, honey, Oh you've got too much fantasy, upbreaker obsessed?

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Yes, what else have we got?

Speaker 3 (18:04):
We belong together of course, loving you long time?

Speaker 2 (18:06):
Yeah hips you Befoty has come through the Texas as well.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
We just played those guys.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Higher ground.

Speaker 3 (18:15):
We've got one here on a two doublow Morninger Mez
and Charlie I love me some usher. I would definitely
bump the King of R and B Girl this one Morninger,
Mads and Chaz Oh, Mason Chess, let's back my top
three and this order would be you be forty Tony
Brexton A readA oh yeah, sending love to us as

(18:41):
a Redna. I have so much respect and time for her.
Someone actually has come through. Also on the Tics machine
eight two doublo. If you want to get in touch
with three Houses Down. Oh you would love that, wouldn't you?
This one from Mornings and Charlie. I would choose Michael Jackson.
Oh that's another good one.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
Over to the Greatest Game of all time?

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Right? The league origins tomorrow, right, But what's popping off
on the papers is that I don't know where the
great Richie Mouna. Right, So this guy is a union
union player pay for the or Blacks. Yes, Now he's
playing rugby over in Japan and he's getting paid closer
to the season.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
See this is why always plays.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Is another one.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
These guys go there and bank and then come back
and play grass exactly. But now a lot of these players,
when they go to Japan, they will come back and
devote their time to their grassroots level, you know what
I mean, or play itam Cup, NPC or whatever. Richie
Mouna is actually in the New South Wales Origin camp

(19:50):
right now, and this is a different coach league. And
I am so happy to hear this bread because I
am a proud New South Wales supporter.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Okay, let's go but get this.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
So on Monday yesterday they had a bit of opposing
match opposing matches like you you sort of it's contact. Yeah,
so he is jamming in a Queensland Cup side team
winning Manly and they played against the new South Wales Blues.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
You know what I mean? So like it's it's good
to sort of get.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
The boys prepared because this is how they gew, This
is how they prepare themselves leading into the decider. This
is the biggest game. Yeah, you know, Bro, But to
have Richimond playing fullback, bro, And and that brings you
to this question here. I've always wanted to see journal
and Will play rugby league and wondered how he would
do in that in that round, what could have.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
He would have got an office most famous rugby player
in the winter world? He made rugby.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
Let's be honest. You know, if you were ever you
know a rugby player that you like, who would you
like to see in the rugby league field?

Speaker 3 (21:00):
You're asking the guy who stuffed up the bierund just
give me your name. Oh, a union player who I
love to say? What see play league? Yeah, that is
a good question. I would say Caleb Clark.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
I would say Caleb Clark because it was last year
that he was training with the Rebbe remember that.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
So and I know this guy, Bro. He would excel.
He will smash your calve just.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
Like I said, it's so talented in the codeesh Man
rugby players man.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
Good, good on you, Ritchie, I am man.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
I reckon, Charlie, we need Sky Sports to hire us
as possays you know what John Corwin does and the
halftime games to Laura macgldrig, I reckon, that could be
a Q Could you see that?

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Yeah, that sounds quite unconvinced. No, it'll be good.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
I'd love to do that.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
I'll be too biased to be honest.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
I'd love to check with the players. I'm a people person,
of course, that's what I am.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
Of course I want to check with the players.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
I was surfing around Facebook yesterday and I found the
status posted by one of my good friends, David Riley.
He's a children's your author out of Watara and a
college boy. Yes CC represent I know there's some of
your on the Textlite Attubo who were TC alumni. David
Riley had written on his Facebook this and I thought

(22:21):
this was pretty heartwarming, and it kind of a reminder
to me about that golden generation. Think our parents, our grandparents.
This is what David Riley sees on Facebook. Rang my
mom to thank her for dropping off some grapefruits, and
then she replies, you're welcome, darling. And there was a
recipe in the paper the other day for a grape
grapefruit pudding.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
I'll send it to you.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
Then David goes He goes on to say, was ever
a generation captured so perfectly in one moment? Mom's generation
is a core generation And it's all in that one
little conversation calling her grown son darling. It's the fruit
of her own trees, packs extra fruit into buckets to
give away, reads this thing called the paper, but looks
for recipes to try new dishes, uses the word pudding

(23:03):
for dessert. I just want to honor my mom in
a special golden generation in this post. And I thought
that was pretty cool, wasn't it.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
So you're a you know our moms that they are
special and every way, and going back to the whole,
She'll pick extra fruit, put it in a bucket and
give it away. That's just how they are. Yeah, you
know we're in some way in the in this generation today,
we've lost it. Yeah way you know what I mean,
until you go back to the n name in Papa's
house and then you sort of pick up on those things.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
I remember my neighbor Julianne.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
She's to have all these plums and figs, and that's
what she'll do because she was like alone and her
kids stayed down the line and if they weren't visiting,
she'll bring the figs and the plums over to our
house or the fugals will just fall onto the side
of old fence.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
But it was always everything she was giving. Yeah, you
know what I mean. So I love that.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Yeah, I have like the fondest memories. One for me
is sitting with Mike Gong and Nanna and we were
making all day together and we were scraping up with
the spoon the watermelon. That's how you do it the
proper way, Yes, And we would make up all day
for everyone in our family. And those are the memories
that you know, I think we as a generation, this

(24:20):
current generation, we need to pick back up.

Speaker 4 (24:22):
For our Timebody it up. Man stays are Zarah and Charlie.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
We talk about school holidays and you know what, you know,
money is probably tough at the moment for most of
our families and things like that, and we do want
to take our kids out right massa like.

Speaker 3 (24:39):
Days left off the holidays. You want the kids to
tell their mates what they did holidays when they go
back to school.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
So rather than you know, going to the park, going for.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
A walk, cleaning, cleaning we did growing up, we're just
standing for us, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Here's something that you could do, especially with your toddlers.
And for me, this is this relates more to me,
would not, you know, being four, my youngest, my younger son.
So the storytime at the Maritime Museum every Friday, Maritime
Museum run three sessions exploring the stories of the sea,
so you're telling could be treated to tales of the
highest season. You can join in on the fun as well.

(25:16):
So this is something I might be able to take
my todd like. This is more comedian for any one
in the ages of seven and under.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Oh yeah, I means it does not like things to
do around the SpongeBob mona. Oh that's a good Leela
and Search. Actually, speaking of Lelo and Search, I bought
myself a toy.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
You bought yourself.

Speaker 3 (25:38):
I bought myself a toy at twenty three years old,
because guess what it did?

Speaker 4 (25:43):
Find?

Speaker 3 (25:43):
Know the warehouse the what if I did? Richard? These
guys are running the make a toys out at the moment. Yeah,
so like I got toys that would normally be one
hundred bucks for like twenty four bucks. Are you okay
off toys? Charlie? I bought me a stitch And what

(26:04):
did I get for you?

Speaker 6 (26:05):
Now?

Speaker 3 (26:06):
She asked for slime and a whole bunch of other things.
But you can go on through to the warehouse and
even if you're just doing the cheeky little window shop
looking around the wrecks, because that's honestly. Wait, yeah, and
you know how expensive toys are, bro. When I was little,
we went to all time shopping.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Nah, Honestly, when I was little, it was false sun dollar.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
Two dollars shop. Damn. Why are you laughing when we're
talking about toys?

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Because man, you're old. I'm old.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Since the pushing forty year old who was complaining about
back pain. Okay, the latest celebrity girls from around the
world wave a breakfast, oh.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Am, go man?

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Okay, so rapper and actor Common has opened up about
his relationship with girlfriend Jennifer Hudson. This is a match
made in heaven, I would say, comment. He has just
come out with a new album last week. It's called
The Auditorium Volume one, and on it features the song
with Jay Had called a God Here As he's spoken
exclusively about this partnership he seys with Jennifer Hudson, someone

(27:14):
quotes he really does care about and does love and
is growing.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
With having a lady just from Chicago allow me to
go home and just be home, and I hadn't did
that in a while where I was just like going
home and just being around my loved ones and didn't
have no work to do. And that, man, I ain't
gonna find that helped me with this album.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Okay, also making goss. Timberland has some news, doesn't he.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Oh? Man, this guy he has been on a fitness
journey and let me tell you this, he's looking great.
Oh yeah, man, health is well for this guy. So
he's hanging it to another level. And he has partnered
up with Vivo Barefoot, So I'm guessing that he uses
this brand.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
Is shoes for his training.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
So Nel Timberlin has gone out and they've nineteen hundred
peers of the Sert's exclusive. And if you look at
the shoe, tell us what you think they look like like?
More flat, but it's all gold, and you know that's
something Timberland will do. It's all gold. And now he's
doing a giveaway on his page. If you guys buy
these shoes, you go into the draw to fly over

(28:18):
to Miami and you get to train with him and
his trainer. So I reckon there's a wonderful little intent
of that.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
And he says that.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
This journey is not you know, he didn't do it alone,
you know, and that's about the people that's around him.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
I wonder why he collaborated with this brand and not Timberlint.
I know, like give some TIMPs.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
I you know what I mean. I know what you mean.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
And for those of you who want to see these shoes,
man takes OMG to a two double.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
Oh man, we'll show you. Okay, talking about you, let
us know what you think.

Speaker 3 (28:48):
We will flick you back that pick and again that
he wrote as OMG right now to eight two double?

Speaker 4 (28:53):
All right man, So my mate, he's just.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Recently qualified as a qualified builder. He's in LVP now.
And the most annoying part to this is that when
we go to any cafe or restaurant. You know, when
you walk into a restaurant or a cafe, the first
thing you do is look at the menu. Your hunger,
you want some fool wrong. When you go with my mate,

(29:18):
he's that guy that just knows everything, meaning we are
not looking at the menu first.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
He does a little ticket tour around.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
Bro. Listen, he will do a little tickety tour around
the restaurant or cafe and he'll look at the structure
of the cafe or the restaurant and he's like, Bro,
you know what, man, this panel shouldn't have been there,
but I reckon the window should have been here. Oh mate,
they use these grooves. Ah, the lighting in this place
is not I'm just like, bro, brother, I don't want

(29:48):
to hear that, you know. I just want to come
here and enjoy the meal. And let's talk about right
by what we've been up to.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
You are they were boys?

Speaker 2 (29:57):
I don't want that man. But he's just that olde
or guy. Oh this table, oh my gosh. Oh well
they're using that on the doors. Nah, I don't want
to hear that.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Yeah, we've all got those types of friends they.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
Or do man just to know it.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Alls, Come on, bro, we don't want to hear it.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
We know you're a builder.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Does he almost get out his measuring tape and I
won't be surprised, like lining it up with us and
we'll be sitting there eating. He'll be like, Bro, how
long do you think that length of coming up? I'm
waiting for this guy.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
I shouldn'tat your sup executive, I'm I'm waiting for this
guy to walk in off his tool belt and known, wait, wait, wait,
we get my tool back.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
They asked me to fix something. He's that guy here.
I just don't like it.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
I definitely know what we did it about. I feel
like I have this mate and we never comes to
gym talk and like we talk about it pretty much
every day. Like he's sitting right next to me and
he just won't stop going on and on about the gym.
PT No, but I really like that At times? Do

(31:08):
I come across as that go yeah all the time.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
Ew.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
We've gotten studio Horney, Cage and Connor from down Hall.
It's a brand new production water Life, but a collection
of young emerging local talent. If you love the production,
I love you g You're gonna love this s Downhole
the New World.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
It's gone down at.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
The Po Theater twenty third to the twenty seventh of
July and Honey Connor Cage tell us what this production
is all about.

Speaker 6 (31:32):
Tahoe is a little Maudi word which means new world,
the new world. So this show, for ask us all
about imagining new worlds and new possibilities, specifically for people
who are tongue Tamuna.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
Tell us about you and your performing history. So where
did you follows come from and how have you come
together for this Coopappa.

Speaker 5 (31:54):
I'm currently going to the University of Auckland, but this
project is my first time properly devising. So actually making
the show from scratch with all of these guys here
coming on Tahoe has been a joy.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
And devising with these guys.

Speaker 5 (32:06):
Making a whole show from scratch about the things that
we want to say, has been really important for me
and my creative journey as a person, but also as
a theater maker.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
Ah what would you want audiences to take away from
the show.

Speaker 6 (32:21):
I want people to take away from the show whatever
they need to take away for them, because for me,
theater is not It's not just what happens on the stage.
It's not just what the performance the performers do. Theater
is what happens between the audience and the performers. That
so it's going to be different for one that comes

(32:41):
see growing up as a.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
Pacific islander myself, like theater for us wasn't a big thing.
And I'm not trying to sound like you know that guy,
But the last couple of years, like a lot of
our multi Pacific islanders like to me, they have really
embarked on that journey like theater and then they've made
it a big thing, like just recently Red, White and Brass.

(33:03):
You know. For for us Tongans, we would never step
like step forard into a theater like of any kind.
But now, like our Polynesian people told, people are now
opening their eyes.

Speaker 4 (33:14):
Whoa, this is another avenue.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Do you guys feel that that's happening or you guys
really knew from a father this was going to happen,
like where our PI people are gonna, you know, tune
into this.

Speaker 6 (33:26):
I think it's happening slowly, but I think it will
happen more and more. I think eventually it'll explode.

Speaker 5 (33:32):
Man.

Speaker 6 (33:32):
You know, I definitely think you know, us people Papa
from the Pacific. It's strange actually when you think about it,
that we're not more involved in theater natural for natural storytellers.
I just I think culturally there's an idea of theater
as being you know, maybe like a parlangy thing.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
That's it.

Speaker 6 (33:56):
Shakespeare, that's the first thing that comes to mind, you know,
It's like Chekhov, all this European stuff.

Speaker 3 (34:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (34:02):
So hopefully, hopefully people come to realize that everybody we
just happen into the sea.

Speaker 4 (34:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
And I hope that THEO Hole encourages people to dream
and imagine like that in a world of their own
possibilities and ideals. You can explore what or who we
could be if we free our imagination down Hold the
New World at the Potheater twenty third to the twenty
seventh of July. Boys, thank you so much, so much
for coming into the Flavor Studio this morning. Shop boys,

(34:29):
And if you want to see the show dow Hall
for free, just six the word free right now to
eight to two double You could win a double pass.
It is time now for us to hit the gap sharp.
Oh we gotta go, man, We gotta love you and
leave ye fan watch you up to for the rest
of to day, Kase, I am going to get some
training and we got high rocks.

Speaker 2 (34:47):
So again, if you're doing high rocks or hi rocks,
keep on going. I got to do it because I've
got to get the body used to it. A lot
of movements, so hierarchs I'm getting. It's a pinnacle any
bf T training. So it's like the fittest of the fittest.
And boy, oh boy, let me tell you this. It's

(35:07):
a lot of running, a lot of high rips.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Yeah, you do like rips of one thing and then
you do a run and then repeat, repeat, you running
one ky.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
In between every exercise. So for example, you've got a
thousand meters on the skier right as soon as you
finish that one can yeah, oh my jumps, you gott
a You got about one hundred of those after you
finish that on the run. So it's just getting the
body in the mind mentally prepared.

Speaker 4 (35:34):
And how you do it, like, how do you do it?
Some care some can't, baby Crims. It's all hot, man,
it's all hot. Preparation.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
Is the key?

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Is the key?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Shut up man.
