Speaker 2 (00:11):
Welcome to Off the Record with Stacey's, Zara and Charlie.
We bring things here they didn't go on the radio.
And today I want to share something weird and bizarre
that I heard on the weekend, Like how dehydrated?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Can you be so dehydrated? And I'm talking after a
night out?
Speaker 2 (00:28):
We all know the feeling, the mouth is techy, it's
not feeling good, the hit is thumping.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
You need liquid and you need it now.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
As someone I met said that they were so desperate
and dehydrated after a night out that they remembered that
they had filled up the hot water bottle the night
before and she.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Drunk the water from the brother that's gonna taste like rubber.
Yeah that really? Why could you just leave the room?
I don't know. I like, how messed up were you
in that moment? Or the night before? Too?
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Seriously stooped to drinking from the hot water bottle? Like
like you said, surely you can get up. Yeah she
was at home.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Now that would suggest she was not an a state to
get up. There's a few things going on there, honey.
It's like, you know, that's you're you're in the desert.
It's a little bottle that and it happens to be rubbery,
and you're like, oh, well, I'll make it rubbery.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Even just the smell of hot water bottles kind of
gross me out day, like they do have that rubber smell.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
She drink it all, I don't know, but she drunk
from it.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I wouldn't say she drank the whole thing, but she's
I think she maybe thought because she said she was
twenty at the time. There, it wasn't it wasn't going
to be like, you know, any different, Like it's a
water bottle, you know, Like there wasn't a lot of thinking.
I was, oh, wait, I fooled this up last night.
The water's fresh, not thinking about the fact that it's
been sitting in a rubber bottle.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Have you done anything similar?
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Is there? I have been very dehydrated and desperate for water.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Probably the one that I think is the most stupid
was I was very very hungover in Turkey this year.
I'd watched the Turkish football team play the night before.
Don't really remember much about the night, fell asleep on
the toilet while brushing my teeth apparently. So yeah, I
(02:19):
woke up very dehydrated.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Dehydrat is that the word for it now?
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
And I ended up drinking the tap water from the
bathroom in Turkey, which you should be drinking bottled water.
That was one of those countries where it was like,
drink the bottled water. I was actually fine, nothing happened.
I was very hungover that day though, so it would
be hard to tell whether it was like the hangover
yeah or the water.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Yeah, that's true. I was sick both ways.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yes, Well, after the hen slash Stag on the weekend,
I thought someone was fine until she said, okay, so
on the way Hume, could we put stup and I
get a blue parade.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I was like, oh, blue powerad o'clock. Okay, mama, it
seriously fixes you. Blue Power rod. They they should be
in like medical journals. I've never really felt like like dehydrated,
like after a big night, then you're not having big nights. No,
it's that simple. Have a wine. How about go to
(03:14):
a winery. Maybe what you need to do is because
what I'm drinking maybe.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
One hundred percent. That plays a huge part of it.
I'm telling you right now. Have you been to why
He Kilkum? You do a winery and you spit in
the afternoon drinking wine. My guy, you will wake up
in the million of the night. De high traded.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Wine is the problem, not the answer.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Anyway. I love a bubbles.
