Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Flavor podcast Network. You're listening to Staci, Sara and
Charlie's Off the Records your record.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Welcome to Off the Record with Stacy's and Charlie. We
bring things here there didn't go on here and today. Wow,
you got to say this here because you wouldn't want
to get in trouble with your mom, Charlie.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
I know. And our recent video that we've posted on
on Flavor, Instagram, Facebook, on our socials, it's taken off
and this is how I know it's doing really well
when my parents.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
I've pracked it so your your mom has red on Facebook.
But I think that's a pretty obvious reason why she has,
because she is a proud tongue and woman. Yeah yeah,
and the whole video is about being a to.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
She's going to go to wear all those flags like
when you bring them home.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Yeah, I got them in my car. It's all about
after the studio is still there, maybe Monday, I'll probably
decorate the car for me and no when we go
to the game.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
You have to, you absolutely have to. And it just
cracks me up. You know the kind of things that
your parents or grandparents choose to engage with online. You know,
I saw my nan she wrote something into the family
group chair, what'sapp group chair? And bless, I mean so cute.

(01:27):
She was congratulating one of my cousins on having a
new baby, but she wrote Lorraine dot dot dot congratulates,
so her own name, like announced her name and the
message and then said congratulations. Cannot wait to see her.
And I'm like, oh, well, we're not. It's you because
your name shows up when you think.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
But when you think about it, how would you know
that she doesn't know. She's like God to let them
know that it's me saying congressions.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
I'm just thinking mom and dad probably knows where the
share buttons. Where the share button's at? Now you know what.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
My auntie, I saw her sharing stories that her kids
had tagged her in, so it should be easy to share.
Tell me why she did it five times because she
was moving it around the screen. She obviously couldn't figure
out how to get it in the middle, so there's
like the same video at different parts of the screen.
So she had it up a little bit and then

(02:20):
she and she started it again. She did it five times.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Another another one that I find funny, and I've seen
someone in my family do it is when you have
tagged them in a photo but they can't work out
how to reshoot themselves, so they just screen and you
can see you can see this live.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
That Auntie does that as well and post that screenshot.
And I'm kind of like, it's so much easier, but
you could have realized, like and I realized that when
I sit down next to my name and try and
help her through something, there are truly so many stupid
buttons and so much stuff, and because everything's touched, it's
like one wrong. You know, you swipe left that means something,
You swipe up that means something. It's actually a lot

(03:01):
going on, and I can't sit there and go more
more then or when she doesn't get it, because think
about the kind of technology that will be around when
I'm a grandparent and my my my grandchildren and showing
me something and I reckon, it'll be crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
It'll be like blink, twitch your.

Speaker 5 (03:18):
Left eye to open the open.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
It's possible because I still you know, it's the devices
you spend time getting to know. And even though I
am older than you, zoo, sometimes you'll go, wait, how
do you do that? You know, like it's it's not
just age related. It's just one hundred what you're interacting
with and what you're interested in, right, you can everyone
can learn it. But yeah, I'm also really mindful. I

(03:45):
feel really attacked when I see those ones that go, Okay,
this is you can tell it's a middle aged person
who's written this. Why they're writing that they put on
there because the writing is larger on your story and
by the time you're like, you know, like a teenager,
it's like writing that. I literally have screenshot it that
I can read it.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
I'm guilty of doing it. Like you know, I don't
want to do rite my captions big on my stories
because people will know, Yeah, nah, bro, he's getting blind.
He's going blind. So I write my captions like tiny years.
But did I can't even read it myself. I don't
know it because i'm writing it.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (04:20):
He'll write, Stace, I'm guilty of this, yeah you right, big.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
And then I don't want to make it seem.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Like I can't see, so I just put it so
small that I can't see like a flicks like look
at me with my eyesight.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Honestly, sometimes I'll go through my story and I was
like what did I write?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Because I'm like.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Screen what we do.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
