Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yes, and the Met Services Heath Gallery joins me. Good morning, Yeah,
you cure Tim here you going. It's not looking too
flashed down here in christ Church at the moment. But
what's the weather looking like for Friday around? Let's start
with the North Island.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Yes, it's a bit of a wet start too, much
of the island in the east, Showers around wire pro
Wellhamton and some rain up across Hawks Paystin and we've
had some heavy falls to cross parts of Hawks Bay
Crispin in the last twenty four hours.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
And so is it going to continue for a while
is it?

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah? Yeah, So we're going to see wet conditions continuing
for much of the east of the North Islands throughout
today and some heavy falls expected up around the Wioral district.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
What's the place to be today in New Zeland?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah? Place to be today probably looking at the west
coast of the South Island that she's quite nice and
actually not too shabby around Auckland, just a bit of
a cool subbly breeze at the start of the day.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Some SM's up the Auckland. At Auckland weather sometimes not
too shabby. What about what are we looking at for
the weekends Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah, Saturday and Sunday, we've got another front coming off
of Tasman Sea, bring us from rain into Fiordland's Westland,
spreading across much of the South Island during Sunday, and
some heavy falls perhaps for those west coast areas around
the Fjords and western as well up around parts of

(01:50):
central New Zealand. It's looking pretty fine as we head
into the weekend. There were some temperatures in below to
mid twenties and both were conditions around the east of
the North Islands. We should see them gradually ease, and
both strong subleys gradually as well.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
How about our friends in the Chathams. Things are going
all right out there.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yeah, a bit of a weekday today, but unfortunately heading
into the weekend it's alongside some more shows. But I
think by by the time we get the Sunday we
should keep both showers easing and when easing as well.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Excellent. Thanks so much for your time and heath. We'll
talk to you again. That is Heath Gallery from the
Met Service.
