Speaker 1 (00:00):
Today on the wild wild Web, do you wash your feet?
That is the debate.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Welcome to the unchanged realm of the world's wide Web,
a swirling vortex of weirdness, bullying, and self obsessed social
media posts in this digital jungle. Jentleman, being a your
fearless guide leading you through the wildest parts of the
wild wild Web.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
This is the wild wild Web.

Speaker 4 (00:28):
Welcome to the wild wild Web. Where we I'd like
to discuss something that we've seen that's gone viral on
the Internet that's caught our attention today, Megan. It's from
Travis kelce Jason Kelcey. They've got a podcast and The Heights.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
New Heights, New Heights, Sorry Heights is the podcast, and
they discussed whether or not you wash your leagues and
feet in the shower.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
So Travis Kelsey Jesse Kelsey, both amazing American football players,
one obviously in Tilers Swift.

Speaker 6 (00:55):
Really I like Travis Kelsey, I know, Megan, and you're
holding your reservations. He's too much of a party animal
for Taylor in this period of her life, in this era.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
I don't think he's always like that.

Speaker 6 (01:04):
No, I don't think when you hear him on the podcast.
He's very grounded and well thought and thoughtful person.

Speaker 7 (01:10):
But I'd love his brother too.

Speaker 6 (01:12):
Apparently his brother really backs him like he I think
he's got he has big brother. Travis was kicked off
high school football college football teams for stupid young incidents
that you do when you're drunk, and.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
You don't make him more ammunition.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
He was young and drunk.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
Yeah, and anyway, and so he has brother fought to
get him back on a team.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Like Jason did.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Yeah, he vouch for him basically older Jason brother.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Yeah, he really doesn't do ship for my brother anyway.

Speaker 7 (01:45):
They will tell you what Jason doesn't do. He doesn't
do ship for his feet.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
He listen.

Speaker 8 (01:49):
It started with somebody saying, Jason Kelsey looks like he
doesn't wash his legs or feet.

Speaker 9 (01:54):
Yeah, obviously, who the fuck washes your legs? What kind
of psychopath washes your feet?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
What do you?

Speaker 9 (02:00):
Travis? Travis, don't act like you.

Speaker 8 (02:03):
Washing my feet every time? But after like a football practice,
like I say, Joe, where my feet have just been like, yes,
I washed my feet, you're.

Speaker 9 (02:12):
Not washing yes, I like everybody else, when you look down,
if there's visible dirt on them, I'll scrub the dirt off.
I don't even touch my feet. Why the fuck would
I wash my feet. I'm not touching my feet unless
I'm clipping my toenails. That's the only time I touch
my feet. People are like, oh, you're gonna get this
guy's got athletes foot People don't even know how athletes footworks.
Has nothing to do with washing your feet in the shower.
I have to do wearing fucking soggy ass shoes over

(02:35):
and over again. That's where fucking mold and fungus fucking grows.

Speaker 7 (02:43):
Washing.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
I always like Travis, Travis.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
So do you want are your feet washes?

Speaker 6 (02:49):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:50):
I would wash my face, but not every time. No,
I'm with you.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
But I would wash my legs and then I would
put my feet up and then wash and put some.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Siping Pa and Travis and say what people want to
hear you?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Actually, yeah I would. I'm not lying, but I would,
maybe not every single time I go on the shower,
but I would like when I come back to the gym,
so probably once a day. Would wash my feet.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Wash your feet when you come out from the jas
with Jason, like the water goes down there. Also, all
the soaping everything goes down there, your feet is standing
in the soap that you've just washed.

Speaker 7 (03:18):
The advantage to Jesus, Jesus, big bloody feet wash.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
He's washing the feet of virgins and all sorts feet.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Yeah, finish, Jesus, finish.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
And she was a prostitute, wasn't she bloody?

Speaker 7 (03:32):
Or Mary?

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Mary?

Speaker 7 (03:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Love, you just loved washing.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Feet starting only fans accounting, Like what's that one day
you'll be one. Make some money right.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Now in the future.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
In the meantime, passing those grubby feet over here, I'll
give them a soaping.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
If you're walking around without shoes and yeah, you.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
Know you like he sees if you have like dirty
where you can see the physical dirt, yes.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Get it.

Speaker 6 (03:59):
But the leagus that sort of below the knee does
doesn't tend to get cared for in the.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Showered like quads and hemmies.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
I make it a routine. You can't have your little
you know, your minervous you're probably just do an auto pilot. Yeah,
it's probably as if you do those in your routine
or not.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
And if you know, my calfs and machines are.

Speaker 6 (04:19):
Outlet's all go, and let's all go, and okay, we've
hopped in the shower.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
What's what's your order? Arms fisce. Yeah, get the soap us.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Undercarriage way down.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Yeah, yeah, I do love the squat and just getting
under the you know, soaping under Yeah, you got it,
got it.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
A quarter warter like open it up. It's can be
a close cap.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Are you taking the nozzle off the shower to go
off under or not one of those just give that
give it a.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Water blow squat to get just not a full like
you need to widen the benk like a curtsy and
then get under and then then probably tint to the face.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Now you talk about it, it feels like the face should
be the first thing you're not like I feel like.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Like rubbing the bar soap on your and then on
your face, but your.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Hand, you know, like your hands are being they have
to dark places. I don't really just wash my face first.
Now maybe I'll start doing that.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
The question going to take a break from this shower
benter and be back shortly.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Welcome back soap or body wash?

Speaker 6 (05:39):
Well do you know a classic bar of soap like
John Pryor who's had the same bar of so like?

Speaker 3 (05:44):
I like him?

Speaker 4 (05:45):
I like a soap, a bar of soap, but it's
something controversial.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
But I feel like, yeah, I like a bar of
soap too.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
I feel like that's when my wife and I would
use that bar soap. It's like it's going around.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
You just feel like the body washes like waste.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Yeah, like I don't mind using time time, but it
does feel like it's a lot more expensive and I
don't get us.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, so yeah, it does get puby. Care's the risk
of you getting puby?

Speaker 6 (06:08):
Doesn't it?

Speaker 3 (06:09):
The soap?

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Yeah, I don't think it doesn't our house, it doesn't.

Speaker 7 (06:13):
You're not pupil Oh you have lived with my dear
John pryor a.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Very puby so yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
But I feel like if you did end up with it,
that's your responsibility as a soap person to get whatever
here off you.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Otherwise, you know, to come over unusual.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
That's what I was about to say. If you're in
a flat, you're not doing a bath.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Also, just be one person or your partner.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yeah, like you're on sweet you and your partner because
you know, share all that eating into.

Speaker 6 (06:39):
The next one. Which is a huge bone of contention
for our friend j Moo. Yeah, which you flattered with
them bath mat.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Yeah, well, I guess you don't need to pick the
bath mat up, but I'm not always good at remembering that.
Ben would hop out, that's the thing. Yes, they're not
even picking them up. You're right, sorry.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
Yeah, Ben would hop out of the shower soaking with
onto the bath mate, then drench the bathroom, leave the
bath man on the floor.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
But he was His thing was about dry yourself in
the shower before you get out. But I'm like, I'm done.
I'm going to step on the bath mat and dry
myself and then most times I put it away. Sometimes
I wouldn't, but there's real problems. Was me drying myself
out of the shower on the bath get the exist
water off, I'll be like, showers done, I'm out of there.

(07:21):
I'm moving on with my day.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
You don't have long hair, but I also wring my
hair out in the shower.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Makes sense.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Stay in the shower because.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
You and you get out on the bath man, wash
the dog.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
You're not to bring the dog inside to shake himself off.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah, but I'm your bath mate doesn't get stopping wet then.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
I know, But I'm just like, I'm just out done.
I don't deal with that now moving on, Yeah, exactly.
Otherwise you got to reach around to get the towel
to bring it in there. You move out and grab
the towel.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
You like an open walking things, so you just have
to right.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
So maybe I would have been yeah, but it's like, yeah.

Speaker 7 (07:57):
Tell you.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
One of the saddest but most fitting things you could
do is sit down in the shower.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
It looks sad, it looks bleak if anyone wants on.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
It hungover you like I like shaving my legs, sitting down.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Your show beer from time time you drinking the shower.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Yeah, a whiskey and the yeah beer.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
In the showers good, Yeah, specially some time. Yeah sound
again if you have even in the shout, it's quite
good because all the colors and you just get the
chocolate the colors like yeah. She doesn't know about often,
but she was just like, that's quite cool. She just
has fist falls everything, and the colors will sup and run,
but you'll get the chocolate and it'll be all slightly
warmer if.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
You can just eat like a child and get it
all over.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Doesn't do it often, but she was the one day
She's like, have you ever tried anis of the shower.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
I just did and it was actually really good sense.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
But she's yeah, once it must have been just sitting
in the bathroom. She was like, try that, and it
was it was good.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
I just like the contrast of the like cold drink
with the hot shower.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah. Have you ever had a sandwich in the shower?

Speaker 1 (08:55):
No?

Speaker 6 (08:55):
No, no, else have even eating anything in the ship?

Speaker 7 (09:01):
I don't think so not conducive to eating?

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Probably no, you'd have to. But then in some ways
it is because if you you can go and just
wash it out, you know, so you could you could
just try not to get wet. I guess would be the.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Thing you get your sandwich wet?

Speaker 7 (09:15):
Do you brush your teeth in the shower? Out of
the shower?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I don't make a habit of it, Like my my
toothbrush doesn't live in the shower, but sometimes I take
it in with me, because then again you can just
like spit it out.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
I would always out of it, always out of the
shower for me, but I would not in my gainst
doing it in the shower.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
I just don't, like, I know, it's very unhygienic to
leave your toothbrush in the shower.

Speaker 6 (09:38):
Oh yeah, well, the but also the particles are like
we've just got our sitting on a bench, all the
part all the stuff that floats around in that room.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Do you keep your toilet seat down?

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yes, so you put it down and then you flush, yes,
because I've always like that's weirded me out when people
flush with the toilet open and then your toothbrush is
right there. Yeah, keep that spraying poop particles.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yeah, keep that locked in. Yeah. How long is it?

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Okay, So on an average day, what would you be
spinning minutes wise? So you're starting your routine and you're
fully done with the shower.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
With the shower, I reckon about fifteen for me from
such finish. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, mine's about twenty unless I have to do everything.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
Shower quite long. I'd navy in and out and well,
I would say out of the shower by five and
five minutes, definitely three to five.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Lord, he's efficient.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
I've got a shower twice a day because I'd always
get the gym in the afternoon.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
So yeah, you're linkern doing anything.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
No, I'm like, yeah, get it done. Yeah, yeah, I
mean I enjoy a shower. Someone's nice. The like, oh,
you keep moving on.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
You know how similar to both of you are to
my old co hosts. You each take take a role.
It's quite weird, all right.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
So who was out of the old co hosts, Flea
chand or Vaughn, who's the longest shower?

Speaker 1 (10:52):
It would be worn with you.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
It seems like you gets stuff done.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Yeah, I really enjoy show. I love getting clean in
the shower, but.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Mind it's nice and then I'm.

Speaker 7 (11:03):
Like, I'm done, you know ye reaser a few and
flitch to the show to get a sheet to be.

Speaker 3 (11:07):
Overdone in about thirty minutes.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Done. This podcast is to wrap up right after stuff
to do.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
