In a now annual tradition, Matt Heath and Tyler Adams tested their year in fitness with a weigh off judged by Jetts personal trainer Jesse Peterson.

"The idea of this is that the hardest time for you to deal with fitness and the hardest time for you to make positive change around that area and exercise and such is across the Christmas break, right?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
You're listening to a podcast from News Talks B follow
this and our wide range of podcast now on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
This has become a bit of a tradition for us. Now, Matt,
this would be the second time.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Yeah, well last time we did it. We don't have
been on here for about a month, but this is
our first full year together.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
So it is a tradition every year, please explain, Tayler.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
So this is the way in that we did last
year and you did beat me by about a kilo,
but we've really stepped it up this year because we
want to do it properly. So we decided to get
in my pt actually my personal trainer, Jesse Peterson from
jets Kida Mateo.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Guys, how's it going good?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
So the idea of this is that the hardest time
for you to deal with fitness and the hardest time
for you to make positive change around that area and
exercise and such is across the Christmas break, right yep,
So what bit of time to have a fitness challenge
to make it make it hard?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Exactly? So we've already done the numbers, do we want
to run through them quickly? So on the weight?

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Oh so, Matt, you had a decent weight of eighty
four point eight kilos.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
And Tyler put on a bit since my marathon, and.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Tyler lean and men representing me by the way, seventy
six point nine.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
It's good start, good start, alright.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Need so is that percentage loss because it's unfear if if?
Oh no, okay whatever. Actually I was just thinking it's
unfair in my favorite.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Well, there's a couple of metrics here. So then we've
got the shoulders.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Yes, We've got the shoulders around the chest, so Matt,
you have a good chest one hundred and four cinimeters
and chest. Tyler we're ten cinemeters behind it ninety four.
So we need a few more bench presses.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
In there, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
And then we've got the arms as well. So Matt
thirty two centimeters fantastic silot guns out, yes, Tyler only
a little bit behind with thirty centimeters, come on, boy.
And then I suppose the biggest one, the one that
you'll see the most changed with, is the waste around
the belly button. Yes, Matt ninety five centimeters okay, fantastic
and Tyler ninety three.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Okay, Well, hang on, I'm running more of an hourglass though, aren't.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I Yeah, you are genetics if we.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Do it, if we could bear.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Oh, you've got a beautiful figure. Beautiful figure. It's only
going to get better and better. Yeah. Think And then
the last one bit controversial around the hips. Yeah, he's
got the most junk in the trunk.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
You can't do that measurement on everyone without asking anyway, No,
you can't.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
You guys are more than happy. Matt, you've got one
hundred and one centimeters right there, and Taylor one hundred
and two.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
All nice. And we've also added in an extra challenge
and I was a bit nervous by this, but we
are going to attempt when we return twenty push.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Ups twenty push ups and the goal is ideally in
a row, which is the big challenge, right.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Yeah, yeah, So you'll come back in and go through
this with us.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
So where do you operate out of So I'm at
jets eating terrorist jets in.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Terrorist Any any suggestions, any tips? Well, you're his personal trainer,
so you'll be you'll be intimately involved with him.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah, yes, And I'm kind of rooting for Tyler's truth
to be told. He's representing the business.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
It's a not appreciate. Actually a lot of it is
a lot of pressure.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
But the main thing is that you guys have chosen
the hardest time, right, so you've got a challenge ahead
of you.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Yes, that's what I love about it.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
Well, that's the thing, right. So the things that you
want to be kind of integrating and avoiding probably just
movement because I feel like this time of year everyone
wants to just sit down and have a beer, right, Yeah,
so trying to get as much movement in during the day.
I don't want to be that person that's like, hey,
get your fitbit on and like trying to get to
the ten thousand steps. But it is a good metric
to follow.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Bring it on. This is going to be good, Jesse.
Thank you very much. Mate. We'll see you back round
about the twentieth. We'll figure out the date and we'll
see who is the ultimate champion over summer. But good
to see you man, Thank you very much. So if
you want to go check out Jesse's website PTGSEP dot com.
He's a good man. But we'll see how we go
and look, if.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
You want to be part of the challenge and measure
yourself up and go hard over Christmas like we Are.
