this update, the Education Minister's given her report card on
New Zealand school system and outlined her plan to turn
it around. Erica Stanford was speaking on day two of
the National Party Conference. She says the ministry told her
the system was not delivering excellent or equitable outcomes. Miss

Sky News reports police have deployed officers in large numbers

to violence and officers in riot gear appear to have
the situation under control so far. That's news. In Sport,
twenty four time Grand Slam champion Nobak Djokovic says he's
in much better shape heading into tonight's Olympic men's tennis
final against Karlos Algarrath at Roland Garras, Djokovic has yet
to win an Olympic medal and goes in having lost

a twenty one year old Alcarrath in straight sets in
the Wimbledon final last month. Djokovic has been returning from
knee surgery and says his physical conditions improved.
