Good afternoon. I'm Jody Gill and this is your afternoon
Newspas for Monday, the eighth of September. The children and
future of Tom Phillips are still missing. The Maricopa father
was shot dead by police in the early hours of
this morning following a burglary in Waikato's Peel Pew. He
and one of his children were riding a quad bike

which was stopped by police spikes. An approaching officer was
then shot multiple times, including in the head, and is
receiving surgery on his eye. A second officer arrived at
the scene and shot the gunman dead. Acting Deputy Commissioner
Jill Rogers says they believe as two other children are

to a unanimous decision in Dunedin District Court today. Following
the verdict, the defendant embraced the infant's mother as they

mother of two murdered her three in laws after lacing
