Good afternoon. I'm Rayleen Ramsay. This is your afternoon news
fix for Monday, the ninth of September. The superfunds reported
yet another record high investment return, now boasting a portfolio
topping seventy six billion dollars. That's up just shive fifteen
percent annually to June. Here's political reporter to Melsa Jackson.

Against a backdrop of sluggish economic growth locally and internationally,
New Zealand's Sovereign Wealth Fund has grown eleven point two
billion dollars. Superfund chief executive Joe Townshend puts the success
in part down to optimism, generative AI technology will boost
corporate profitability and also declining inflation.
