is now the focus of University of Auckland researchers. Seven
hundred and fifty women are diagnosed with womb cancer every year,

a number that has doubled in the last decade. The
increase correlates with rising obesity and type two diabetes rates.
It's seriously affecting Mari and Pacifica women in particular. Associate
Professor Shari the blinker On says it's essential that womb
cancer is detected early as most women can survive it.

Disappointment over Parliament's decision to reject a proposal for paid
training to address workforce shortages. Over twenty thousand people signed
a petition calling for paid placements in health care, teaching
and social work. The Select Committee concluded the issue is
complex and they don't consider there is an immediate solution
