A road freight organization is raising concerns are yet to
be strengthened. Hawks Bay bridges costing the region millions. Weight
restrictions on Fernhill Bridge limit access to a maximum of
thirty one tons for eight axled vehicles. A Transporting New
Zealand survey found the detours costing six local companies over
two million dollars a year. Membership manager Lindsay Calvey Freeman
