In this update, thousands of Palestinians have started returning to
their homes in Gaza's north, with Israel saying the ceasefire
is now in effect. Under the deal, Israel will pull
back its soldiers to agreed positions in Gaza. Hamas also
has until midday on Monday local time to release the
