In this update, a new Kunger Audit complex has opened
in Auckland at a building cost of one point two
million dollars per apartment. The State Housing Agency says it's
spent eleven million on the three to three bedroom and
six two bedroom apartments in meadow Bank. One neighbor says
it feels like public housing tenants will be living in
greater luxury than private homeowners on the same street. Developer

Ockham Residential co founder Mark Todds says the cost highlights
the agencies and competence and lack of expertise. He believes
they should have delivered two to three times as many
homes with the money spent. Whinston Peter says it's not
too early to start thinking about the twenty twenty six election.

Fewer international students and lack of funding may be to
blame for university's fall and rankings. This week's Late As
Times Higher Education World University rankings don't put any New
Zealand institutions in the top one hundred and fifty at
Tiger University has fallen two places to one hundred and
fifty two and to Tago and Lincoln University have also dropped.

Universities New Zealand Chief executive Chris Wheeland says it comes
down to a funding crunch across the sector. It is
making it very difficult for us to be able to
support the kind of research and teaching that we really
need if we're going to improve our place in the rankings.
Concern that most key WE workers are feeling burnt out

of workers feel burnt out and just under a quarter
aren't upfront with their manager about it. Two thirds of
people surveyed say it's due to heavy workloads. Robert Half
director Ronald Singh says there's a lot of external pressure
