Family Ties

Family units have been a regular part of the Shortland Street, and those units that manage to work their way into every part of the show are the ones that fans are drawn to - from the Neilsons to the Coopers and now the Kings, these families have reflected Kiwi life every night for decades. This episode would touch on being part of an on-screen family and building those relationships, the impact those characters have on the public, what to do when one of you wants to leave, and the young actors finding their place in the show.
