There's just some good gray in there, mate, very good, great, well.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
Well mate, I've always thought that, Karen, would you know
if there you know the minotaur, the human with the
horse body heads? Definitely the perfect centaurian minutare the centaur centaur?
Sorry mate, sorry, you look like a doogong. We've found
that out, you know, shut up with your sea cow.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Sorry, guys. Welcome to the TB Sports Cape. Is again
(01:09):
what tough week. We've lost Chris Christofferson and name Maggie Smith.
You know if you don't know who they are, get
on Wikipedia at Google.
Speaker 4 (01:20):
Just some sad music, so.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
Perfect.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Yeah, you've been crying as well.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Really sad and also very sad is that no one
believed Mark's pig story.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
They well, it was a.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Big story, but I was pretty believable.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
I don't think off the cuff you could make story
quite as that.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
And no, you couldn't make it.
Speaker 5 (01:40):
No, you had to be there sometimes I have been
slightly balanced over the years.
Speaker 6 (01:44):
And it soon He shows how to trail.
Speaker 7 (01:46):
The show somehow is getting watched because I was down
underneed and as you know, for a twenty first just
gone checking into the Lambroke's Motel down there, and then what.
Speaker 6 (01:57):
The need in there, I suppose, and the danger zone
and the danger zone beautiful.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Motel they locked away.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
You mentioned them on the show.
Speaker 7 (02:06):
No, they said, Oh make god.
Speaker 6 (02:12):
She said, hey, it's all going to your room.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
This is your room, by the way, No pegs and
a what that's I've just been watching the Show's believe that.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
That may just be a general rule that they have
for everyone.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yeah, yeah, you go to the hotel, no pigs and sacks.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Now you you sent me a photo, didn't you.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
I've got categoric proof. He well, mate watched the podcast
and manded and said, I've got a photo of the
twenty first They sent me a photo of me holding
the pig. There's a gift. I don't know what happened
to him later at the night. All I know is
he devoured my chocolate cake.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
But don't tell that story.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Isn't it funny how you can remember stuff that happened
thirty years ago but last week.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Totally thank you? Do you remember when you interviewed the
Minister of Sport driven mallow.
Speaker 6 (03:06):
Which Jim mallad you've going back of it now then?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, yeah, the big big Bladers lake up weekend in Wellington. Yes,
we sent you down and this is how you treated
the Minister of Sport security.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
We'll give them a couple of minutes.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Twether a big game this weekend. How do you think's
going to win?
Speaker 8 (03:28):
I think the All Blacks will win. I think they've
had the better form through the Super twelve as as
the Crusaders. With a couple of additions, they should go
really well, it's about time we had a big win
in Winnington.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Can I grow you on that?
Speaker 9 (03:41):
They're a very exciting mix, you know, read office obviously
looking to play a.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Different brand if you like.
Speaker 10 (03:47):
They're looking to attack and they've been very constructive with
the ball.
Speaker 11 (03:51):
So they're going to come here to play and that's good. Well,
it's going to be a huge game this weekend, no
doubt about that. There'll be a lot of people there.
It'll be a big day and the All Blacks are
playing with a bit of assurance. I'll think they'll do
it easily. Okay, if you.
Speaker 7 (04:05):
Had to made me put like a.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
A score on it.
Speaker 6 (04:10):
How did you call that?
Speaker 11 (04:12):
I would go I'd say twenty five seven to the
All Blacks twether.
Speaker 10 (04:30):
How about the conditions you think that'll affect the affect
the game mat.
Speaker 8 (04:33):
Yeah, I think that they could be good if they
get the ball out wide. They always hard to tell
and when what's going to happen on the day the
track will be good, but it might be.
Speaker 3 (04:49):
And then David Long, he said.
Speaker 12 (04:52):
Just use my phone by is that security?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Can you see? We've got some idiots?
Speaker 4 (05:09):
You know?
Speaker 8 (05:13):
What do you know of the spring box put of
an unknown quantity?
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Yeah, we haven't seen a hell of a lot of
the season, but you know they're always tough, very physical,
fun and I'm sure with Australian churchs so they'll be
pretty tough with these pieces.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
And will drip was just wondering this is and and
the test nature on there for eighty minutes. What happens
if someone needs to do poos some of that?
Speaker 11 (05:41):
She wanted to know?
Speaker 6 (05:42):
It wasn't sure? Thank you?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Interesting?
Speaker 6 (05:46):
Isn't it interesting? You couldn't get away with it?
Speaker 4 (05:53):
I've got a confession to make actually, and ironic timing
that Driven MANA should come out because of the America's
caps on previously when the America's Cup was held in Spain,
but it was held in Valencia. I went there to
do some stuff and got asked, do you know any
(06:13):
any business associates like as the flyings was INSI tea
or something. Yeah, I've got Matthew Hart, Johnny celt So
I flew too, mates in on the text Pat tat
and we're sitting there and Mandy Smith was my ex
girlfriend who was going out with Dean Baker, right and
Dean and the whole thing was pretty awkward for a
(06:34):
wee while and Simpson, I made of wine. Phone up
Dean and he's got Mark's up there. Maybe you can
get him to come to the party. After they won
the Louis for Tom and So I get a call
from Dean about half an hour after they've won it
saying do you want to come to the party tonight?
What's he calling me? This is odd? Then I looked
at my phone and I'd sat on I'd send him
something like one hundred and thirty text.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
We were skinned deep.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
We you know, we've had a fews and I said, look,
we've got to go to this bloody I think, just
so I can say I'm not a creep. You know,
I'm sorry, I said, I'm phone. So you go in
there and me and my mate hard. So I said, look, mate,
if we go in here, you just don't do anything
that's going to disgrace us. And then I bumped the
trim of Mallard and we were three sheets and he
(07:20):
was just swamming around like he owned the place, and
I took offense to it, and so I said to him, mate,
you know this is not on this sort of behavior.
And then his phone rang and it was Helen Clark,
and so I snatched his phone off and said I
need a chat to her, and so I walked off
and he jumped on my back. So I've got the
ministers spot on my back at the America's Cup, which
(07:41):
I've got to apologize and Dean for sending one hundred
and thirty tis. And I ended up throwing him on
the ground and throwing the phone on him, and the
job security got me, and so I'm getting blug towards
the door, and then I hear this circus, this pandemonium
down the other end, and he's also to get We
both got tossed out at exactly the same time. I
(08:01):
don't know whether I can tell the end of the story,
but we got kicked out of there with our tail
between her legs and we'd only gone to apologize for
seeing and then we're walking past Team Germany. Then this
is so inappropriate, but I'm going to tell the truth.
My mate walks into Team Don't no, no, you can't. Yeah,
(08:24):
So we ended up getting chased by two grinders and
jumping on a piece of livery guy's bike. It's a
drive drive and it was like wheel hopping. It's these
two big beefcakes we're chasing after absolutely.
Speaker 6 (08:40):
In somehow.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
I checked down Trimming Mallow's phone number the day after
and phoned and said, like, you know, that wasn't my
finest display.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
They jumped on your back.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Well he jumped on my back. He actually physically assaulted me.
The Minister of Sport at as.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
It's when you've got someone talking to the sport with helium,
that's the least that happens.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
That's quite funny, and obviously page you back by Mary Mandy, Well.
Speaker 4 (09:09):
Look there was you know, I just wanted him to
know that he had my bleaching effectly.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Seeing one hundred and thirty ticks. That's nice.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Yeah, I thought, I thought, you know after I mean,
how many ticks a you're getting after your mother to
give a phone call? Get You're going it's dang you
want to come?
Speaker 6 (09:24):
Well?
Speaker 4 (09:25):
Yeah, maybe, thank thanks man.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Holy sh So I played that club because I wanted
to talk about the blizz like cap. So you know
you'll watched it.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
Just on the Helium thing briefly though you wouldn't.
Speaker 7 (09:39):
I mean, I would like to see more of the
one yoused to the whole bulletin on Helium one night, just.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
On Wednesdays Wednesday, Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Ilium Wednesday. Yeah, have we got killen? Read online?
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (09:54):
And you you obviously watched the Blues like that because
I saw you on TV? What do you think?
Speaker 3 (09:59):
Yeah? I did?
Speaker 2 (09:59):
I did.
Speaker 13 (10:00):
It was you know, it's probably similar to what we've
seen all year, to be honest from your blocks, like
some really good things, but you know, not.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Quite an eighty minute performance.
Speaker 13 (10:09):
But I guess probably the you know, what we wanted
to do is break the curse of Wellington, which they
did Sam Caine hundredth tests get the win, So probably
that's the positives out of it, Like there's some great
individuals and it's all black team at the moment put
in the hand up.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
We just probably not.
Speaker 13 (10:25):
Quite seeing the collective this across eighty minutes yet, but man,
it was a I guess for them it's step in
the right direction and a good night for those boys.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
Where do you think the consistency's lacking? Is there a
positional zone? Thanks mane.
Speaker 13 (10:43):
I think the forwards are working so hard and maybe
it's just getting the leaders on the same page together,
right these guys are new to the game, but certainly
it feels like we just can't quite win either the
territory battle or the possession battle at the moment we
get stuck under pressure and then the fend for you know,
twenty minutes or so in a row, which we did
(11:03):
at start at all for a.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Ref they really, I mean, when you're six penalties down
in the first twenty minutes, you know you don't get
any chance to move forward.
Speaker 13 (11:15):
Yeah, it's the Georgian it's yeah, he hasn't been kind
to us over the years, and yeah, it was pretty
like he's pretty pedantic, which I think, you know, when
you're talking about Aussies and New Zealanders generally, it's a
really entertaining game. And you know, when we kind of
got rid of him after that first twenty, it did
(11:36):
come to life. But I think that's what we're going
to have to plan for, right those tests up in
the UK.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
How do you plan for that? Sorry? Mate, this is
an important line of inquiry. How do you plan for that?
Because the referees are just so pedantic, so anal and
there are one hundred and twenty rules that can be
interpreted one of a myriad of ways. How do you
as a team plan for the eventuality of being fourteen
(12:03):
or thirteen or penalties and frees effectively in the way
they interpret the game dictating the course of the result.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Yeah, look, I think now now mate.
Speaker 13 (12:13):
Like you obviously analyze the opposition, you're analyzing the ref too, right,
So you've got all the analysts who are putting these
packages together for the players to go, Okay, this ref
penalized the attacking team more in this area or you know,
whatever it is. So the knowledge is there so the
boys will understand what the ref's going to be doing,
you know, prior to the game. So I think from
(12:34):
our point of view, what it used to be like
like in the loose forwards, you know, because we're potentially
treating that line in the thinnest was Okay, let's boys,
let's you know, hands off at first twenty minutes, let's
get into this game. Let's see what he's going to do,
and then we can see where the line is. Right,
So potentially, I think that's that's the way forward. You
(12:55):
come in squeaky clean, see what the ref's kind of doing,
and then as you say, you just got to adapt to,
you know, whatever he's ruling on that day.
Speaker 7 (13:05):
Yeah, say, because as a loose would especially you know,
being a loose forward myself back back in the day,
what day was there to a lesser degree than say,
perhaps yourself can what day were you a lose forward?
Speaker 6 (13:16):
Most saturdays?
Speaker 4 (13:17):
Okay, well, let Lisa for the albinism, which effectively means
the safest place is at the bottom of a dark ruck.
Speaker 6 (13:23):
That's right, normally if he runs back as well. But
because the last thing you want is playing.
Speaker 7 (13:29):
Forwards to be gun shy, don't you going in there
and questioning before they go in there, especially, you will
lose forwards.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
I mean, that's the last thing you want.
Speaker 13 (13:37):
No, you're right, I think what you can do though,
you can do it in different ways, right, Like so
for example, instead of maybe going into for the jack,
or you might go to clean past the ruck. You
know what you probably in your day Lee it was
more you know, getting a couple of bodies and to
clean over the ball.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
So you can't really use then hopefully a bit.
Speaker 13 (13:56):
Like that, right and just then just trying to maybe
get the feel for what it is looking like. I
think that's how for the All Blacks point of view,
Like we get stuck on d a lot and we
defend really well, but we defend a lot of phase
and eventually it's going to be a penalty or they're
going to get through us.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
So that's okay.
Speaker 13 (14:13):
How can we you know, maybe turn dominant tackles into turnovers,
you know, get.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
The ball back under attack or in some territory and.
Speaker 6 (14:22):
Without being an apologist kind of thing.
Speaker 7 (14:25):
And your Blacks would never do this, But in the
modern area with the pedantic reffing, would you say it's
probably verstly effected the All Blacks more than other teams
who prefer, you know, the further more slower structured play.
Speaker 6 (14:38):
We want it to be.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
Loose and fast, namely South Africa and England. Yeah, yeah,
Well the poems run the game, right, so they create
these bloody rules and the magnification of every aspect. They
slow it down. They let the big popos, you know,
because typically our last twenty minutes for our strength, because
we were fit as a team and we used to
like being loose. Now they've slowed it down to bring
(14:58):
on the bomb.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Square, what have you got to We would just say
we're at the all blacks if you give us a grade,
you know, you know for the home series getting ready
to go off.
Speaker 13 (15:09):
Oh, I don't know, I'm not sure about it. I
think that's a good point though, from these two files
on the couch.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Like I don't say that, ye like it.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Yeah, the way the game's gone especially and even probably
raises to look at it, right, every time you bring
on a you know, a sub, that's a time off
the clock, so it's slowing it down to bring a
sub on, so you know, and that's in that last
thirty twenty minutes, and you've got sixteen guys coming on
the field. That's sixteen little breaks, so it could be
(15:40):
un raised. Going Okay, let's let's not either use them
early or wait to a try or actual injury break
to bring on your subs, so you're not stopping the
game in different ways.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
But do you remember Louri's thing was, you know, like
this is back in the day, prior to you, Karen.
It was like, you know, if they can't give you
a penalty if you're ruck them and you're bound, so
like two guys to hold each other and you can
jump all over somebody, but if you rack them by yourself,
you're going to get a penry. And he said, and
if you're going to do it, go for the bony parts, giblets,
(16:14):
you go for the bony pits. It was actually like
a call before tests, go for the bony parts.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
Yeah, yeah, brilliant or matan. So what are you doing
when you're not on my TV?
Speaker 6 (16:24):
Actually my TV?
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Not now, I mean on the weekend?
Speaker 13 (16:27):
Okay, okay, look I'm utilizing I guess those skills are
picked up over my career into a performance space, so
helping out leadership teams and the teamwork culture leadership. So yeah,
into corporates and businesses and everyone. So I guess if
you want to look me out here and read dot
(16:48):
codes on it, I chucked the plug in right now. Yeah,
I have a look and.
Speaker 7 (16:53):
Not a stupid question. But does that include say, the
All Blacks or rugby Union? You're doing stuff, you know?
Speaker 13 (17:00):
Ye, it doesn't include the All Blacks, but maybe one
day who knows started includes into sport as well.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Another Does it include HR because we've got a pest
in the room?
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (17:14):
I think I do work closely with HR generally because
they are the type of people that will get me
in and employ me, so we don't.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Need a contract.
Speaker 4 (17:22):
But we're all feeling really uncomfortable.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
I guarantee that if someone felt that there was a
pest in this podcast, that would be you.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
Yep, well mate, you are undoubtedly by dint of the
fact that for the previous six shows you've brought up
topics that have made us all sort of feel like
our skin's crawling.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Karen's on the corporate arena out there, what's the general vibe?
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Do you think when you go in and you're trying
to add a bit of positivity into a corporate environment?
Is twenty twenty four a good place to be working
for most companies? Do you think if you've got your
finger on the pulse out there?
Speaker 13 (17:55):
Yeah, Hey, Lona, look at I think it's it's been
tough on you can you can kind of sense that.
Speaker 3 (18:02):
I think that people are wanting to learn a lot.
Speaker 13 (18:04):
About change, right Like I think, how do you adapt
to those down times and push yourself through a bit
of adversity.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
So probably coming and spoken a bit about.
Speaker 13 (18:14):
That a lot, but you know, I think generally, let's
hope it's you know, the sun's coming out, get a
bit more optimism in the country. Like there's some just
some positive things. I think everyone's kind of looking, you know,
to push on end of this year and into into
next year.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Just before you go here and you you play in
the in the in the in the cricket the Black Clash.
Do you played with Mark?
Speaker 3 (18:41):
No, I haven't played with Mark Mark.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Have you played?
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Did you play one one?
Speaker 4 (18:44):
Yeah? Yeah, sadly Graham Henry's a great coach rugby. But
he made me bowl which I don't do, and battered
me numb tonight and then get nothing, mate. I tried
to hit the tory for sex and got stumped by
great combination.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
It's an impressive combination.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Well yeah, he's a great glove.
Speaker 13 (19:03):
If you ever want to come back, mate, then just
just let me know because.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
Because my son watched it. He was in tear support
a little bugger because he didn't want to see.
Speaker 7 (19:13):
And that's snake a changing team rugby and it gave
of course team rugby and then nutrition space it to
bowl again.
Speaker 1 (19:22):
I'm saying that life after what there's your favorite sport
to do? Now? What do you do for fitness?
Speaker 3 (19:28):
In terms of fitness is running?
Speaker 13 (19:30):
I guess I'm kind of It was just quite strange,
Like I actually hated raining when I played, you know,
probably because I had to keep up with McCaw the
entire time. We did it in the sessions, so I
didn't really enjoy the running. But since I finished, you've
gone into a bit of the few mates it get
up in the hills and crush.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
It's here or in the forest and yeah.
Speaker 13 (19:50):
Chuck a podcasting like sports cafeish and and you know,
just just listen away.
Speaker 4 (19:56):
And how's the carcassing. It must be relatively decent if
you're going for.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
Actually, you know, like pretty good.
Speaker 13 (20:02):
Like when I finished, there was probably maybe three or
so months where it would horrific. When I finished, my
body was breaking down. But give it a bit of time,
lost a little bit of weight that you didn't need.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
And it's come good.
Speaker 13 (20:16):
Like I've got a knee that needs a replacement at
some stage, but you know, I can run in a
straight line. But so I'm just really careful when I
take the kids sign out in the backyard that I
don't try and bring up the step too much because
I generally though the part they.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Do it now, which I had a half in a replacement,
bloody brilliant, Like if you've only got cartilage on one
side the half knee, you can still run on afterwards.
Speaker 13 (20:39):
Yeah, So I'm just hanging in there while I can move,
keep going with the exercise, and then at some stage
she'll get fixed up.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
I hope you're listening to that wreck. See what what
he said is you lose a couple of kilos life,
it's a bit easier.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
All right. I think I'll let you go go and
inspire the country and.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Yeah, cheers, right, thanks guys, Yeah, I think you should
play something little Chris.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Now agreed, thank you. Before we go to the next guest,
I just want to We've had a lot of Olympic
medalists on the show over the years, and probably the
two that no when you introduce you, when I introduced him. Yeah. Yeah,
can we look back at at this moment with the twins.
Speaker 14 (21:28):
Yeah, I mean it wasn't till the last two fifty
that I locked across and sit in the bow. So
I locked across and saw that we were kind of
leaving with.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
The Germans and front.
Speaker 14 (21:37):
It's probably I stare at Canan's back the.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Finish time first.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
From again, just just was.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
The other way than the walker broke No.
Speaker 14 (22:04):
Sorry, yeah, like we when we crossed the line. I
don't think we to begin with, we didn't. We just
relieved that it was over and nor we're pain and
we knew we might be in a chance for the meddle.
We're just stoked the fact that we had a medal
and we didn't really care what color it was then
now we're pretty stoked.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
We defended as gold.
Speaker 14 (22:22):
Yeah, and we probably wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Want to trade. But it was one one hundredth of
a second. We were told four centimeters and I was
quite surprised. That sounds like quite a lot to me.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
The regretting thing is that the Americans, you know, like
all the American athletes who have won gold and now
being set up with movie stars. But the latest is
that Phelps is being set up with Jennifer Anderson and
no it's not really. I mean I just wondered, you
know who the New Zealand gold medalists might like to
be set up with.
Speaker 9 (23:05):
You're trying to sort of suggest that you're a movie start.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
I'm reckon married man. But Matthew wanted me to mention
that talking of behavior, the thing that I've just picked
up there is like you you're not cracking any jokes
on this actual podcast, so you're showing the ones that were,
you know, from the twenty years past.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
It's not the clip that you told me that you
were going to show.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
Sleep. It's one of the things that we I'm just
going to apologize. So when the Hamish Carla won a
gold medal, we gave him a car when when it
was was won their second gold medal, being our sponsor
was Bond the Bond at the time, and we gave
them a washer and dryer. Who got the dryer?
Speaker 5 (23:57):
I'm not sure, but I'd like ton't They've just gone
flatingly asked and what they'd like. I think we would
have said, would you like a flat screen TV? Or
would you like a washing machine and dry we wouldn't
just assume that because females your automatically.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
Every household needs that, you know, and saw the gross
you know position that men have been placed in with
the six the devil's number last week, and to.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Assume that I just saw that that's what we're giving them.
I'm just apologize if I did assume. I'm sure I didn't. Look,
we've got a special guest Olympic gold medalist high jumper.
Speaker 15 (24:34):
Yeah, brilliant, welcome, Thank you for having the guys.
Speaker 4 (24:41):
Where did you get that attitude that said, right, I'm
not going to settle for a draw, I'm going to
have a cracking and look in the eye. I'm going
to go for gold, right, and only one of us
is going to get it. Because that, to me was
the moment of the Olympics that just summarized the winning attitude.
It was inspirational. Loved it.
Speaker 9 (25:01):
I think, Look, I wouldn't consider myself the most competitive person.
I think it's probably been taken as a high level
of competitive competitivity if you ask my girlfriend should probably
disagree slightly with that comment, but no, I think I think, honestly,
like that's what the Olympics are about, right, it's it's
about who can who can win, and who can sort
of walk away with that gold. And I think that
(25:23):
I definitely would have wondered what if if I hadn't
if I hadn't taken it.
Speaker 4 (25:28):
So, yeah, I think you would have both. You've both
got gold.
Speaker 15 (25:32):
So it was like it was, Yeah, but Olympic cod
champion just doesn't quite sound the same, does it.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
But it's like when you're playing like basketball, shots of
the kid and you say, right, give you twenty bucks
mate if you nail it, and they hit it and
they go, oh, I've got twenty bucks, and then you
say double a quits, you know, and the right kid
says double, the wrong kid says quits. You said double?
Speaker 3 (25:55):
I might.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (25:55):
It's half a hole though, isn't it?
Speaker 6 (25:58):
And so did you?
Speaker 4 (25:59):
Did you what made you say double?
Speaker 9 (26:02):
Was it?
Speaker 4 (26:02):
Did you think mentally you owned the guy?
Speaker 6 (26:04):
It was?
Speaker 4 (26:05):
I mean there must be in high jump, of all things,
is opportunities to sort of rub past one another, to
look each other in the eye, to sort of size
up your opposition, probably better than most sporting events.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Yeah, there was a bit of that.
Speaker 9 (26:18):
I definitely pipped him in a couple of really key
comps this year, so I sort of knew that I
had his number when it came to that kind of
side of it. But yeah, I think also, like you know,
as as Olympians, we are aware that our sports are
being put on a pedestal in those those four year
sort of moments being the Olympics, and so I think
for me, like I just wanted to put on a show.
I wanted people to sort of see that what we
(26:39):
do is pretty exciting and we you know, we we
do put some pretty cool moments in front of people's
in front of people's eyes. So yeah, it was it
was sort of a case of wanting to win, but
also just you know, wanting to make people really feel
something a little bit.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
And that's that's what we talk about. The Italian guy,
the previous gold meal. I mean, he's really theatrical, isn't he.
Like it was like a soap opera watching him jump. Yeah,
so he was, he was.
Speaker 9 (27:03):
He was dealing with a little bit of health issues
going into it. I think he had kidney stones or something,
which which he's claimed because it was junior deck and
you know, it depends on who you listen to, but
definitely sound like he wasn't eating a huge amount going on,
which is which is something that obviously helps high jump,
but you're definitely tying a bit of a line there,
and so yeah, there was there was some pretty crazy
(27:24):
stuff going on background.
Speaker 15 (27:25):
I wasn't aware of a lot of it.
Speaker 9 (27:27):
He was doing a lot of it on Instagram and
various other social media channels. But yeah, it's all about
how do you create that show right, And.
Speaker 7 (27:34):
Also like you can train a year and you're you're
there thereabouts a feening good, but from event to event,
you could jump in the day and not really feel
the groove or some days you must feel like I'm
good today.
Speaker 15 (27:46):
Yeah, there's a lot of timing involved. You definitely see that.
Speaker 9 (27:49):
Sometimes guys will come out and have horrible competitions and
then suddenly turn around, you know, a week later and
do really, really well. But I think I think that's
that's part of the game, right as we know that,
you know, once every four years, everyone's going to be
watching us, and it's about how you can make it
really work on.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
That day when do you know you've nailed the jump
as at the foot placement.
Speaker 9 (28:08):
Yeah, yeah, so you're pretty much run and you chuck
your foot down and that's kind of when you know, uh,
and then and then the rest of it's sort of
just this this cool sort of moment of obviously taking up,
taking off and getting over the bar.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
And then landing.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Do you remind me what your exec heart was for
your final jump?
Speaker 15 (28:25):
So jump to thirty six and then in the jump off,
jump to thirty four.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Get your entire body over over it's about.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
Mecas with the dwarf oncas.
Speaker 15 (28:37):
That's Stephen Adams with macro on his shoulder.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Yeah, it's kind It's interesting.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
Thing is Rick was a great high jumper back in
the days of.
Speaker 15 (28:44):
The s Yeah, so he claimed told me about he
was the scissors.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
That's why you know, did you did you do the
scissors when you were starting out as a kid.
Speaker 9 (28:55):
Yeah, I got a weep weep better scissoringdle.
Speaker 15 (29:02):
No showing your age.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
Now you're getting what's the evolution for from a young
athlete to becoming a high jump But did you always
know that that was the sport that you would migrate to?
Speaker 9 (29:13):
I mean, it's such a mainstream sport you just you know,
you get into the program and off you go. No,
it's definitely definitely pretty niche. I think probably for me
it was about going to my local club and just
getting getting set up with a good group of mates.
You know, there was a hype of good people at
the club that I was part of, which I just
was good mates with. So we just kind of turned
up and trained and never really thought much more of it.
(29:36):
And then I, obviously, coming to the end of high school,
realized I had a little bit of talent, and that's
when I sort of started taking more seriously.
Speaker 6 (29:42):
Did you did you want did you.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Would you like to do?
Speaker 4 (29:46):
No gun class?
Speaker 7 (29:48):
I know not?
Speaker 3 (29:49):
You go?
Speaker 4 (29:49):
Sorry?
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Did you you are going to o? Did you have
a young gymnast that you watched previous Olympics that inspired
you to what?
Speaker 4 (30:00):
Well, I know where you're going with us? You're going
to go acomedy again? And all began.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
I'm just saying that some did something that inspire you.
Was there an athlete that inspired you?
Speaker 6 (30:10):
Athlete a high jumper?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Sorry, I'll apologize on behalf of.
Speaker 15 (30:17):
It wasn't sorry boys.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Did you meet she was at the Olympics?
Speaker 15 (30:23):
No, So for me it would have been Hamish Carla.
I remember watching him when Gold.
Speaker 4 (30:26):
And Human Hell, when the hell of a guy.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Yeah, great role model.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
We couldn't get any footage of of your jumping because
of the Olympic footage we can't afford. We didn't manage
to find the still photo of Actually that's me jumping
over its I know that's you.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
That could be anyone.
Speaker 4 (30:50):
It looks like me, and it must be about one
point one point two meters because you're clearing it about
a ruler.
Speaker 9 (30:58):
Again, I want I want to see the full footage.
Where's the Where's how hard a television? Wasn't the invented
back then? Like if I'm going to be on can
we can we lose that?
Speaker 4 (31:07):
I just wanted to prove that you once had here.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
No, because it actually was like a meter twenty. I
got someone to lie down and take a photo, so
I made sure I cleared it by long way.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
Yeah I can tell that.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 7 (31:19):
The advantage of course, and the high jump you're going
over backwards. You mentioned hitting was your foot is the key,
you know if you're going to go well, obviously you
would have seen the pole vault with that guy who
cleared it quite easily, but obviously took the bar off
where you go, oh, just because he was going over
front ways like with the Western rollers that. Yeah, so
(31:41):
obviously must be quite good going over backwards knowing that
you've hit it.
Speaker 6 (31:44):
Well, there's a good chance you're going to get get
over that bar without any.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
Other Well, it depends, doesn't it. I mean, if you're
wearing loose shorts and you're and you're running a limp
for Christy, you still won't be in trouble.
Speaker 15 (31:58):
There's there's always a rusker, isn't there?
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Boys?
Speaker 1 (32:00):
What about what about people?
Speaker 4 (32:01):
Actually? You know how you see the floor routine and
the wonderful American gymnastics, Yeah, gymnastics. They come up and
they do the flip flip flip flip twang you know?
Speaker 1 (32:13):
Is that sorry? Can you just clarify what that means?
Speaker 6 (32:17):
Well?
Speaker 4 (32:17):
Yeah, well anyone they're doing like they're going across and
they do the summer tic tack and then they go
wolf and they do a double triple somersault. Height I mean,
is they're clearly a rules as to how you get
over the bar.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Well, you can't jump off two feet?
Speaker 4 (32:36):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Because that's the rule, that's what high jump is.
Speaker 9 (32:39):
I think you probably underestimate how bouncy that floor is. Yeah,
gymnastics like obviously insanely impressive what they do, Like it's no,
I'm not trying to take away from that, but I
think that that kind of technique on the floor that
we have just wouldn't work. The floor is so much harder.
It's it's like jumping off concrete. So if you were
to sort of do a handspring, you probably break both
(33:01):
your wrists, can you.
Speaker 4 (33:02):
So that that's why I asked a question. The other
question is how tall are you?
Speaker 15 (33:08):
How I'm six for six yeah, so it's not slightly
taller than average.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
Yeah, it's not a not a game for short men.
Speaker 2 (33:17):
When when was it that you hit two meters? When
was how old were you when you jumped two meters?
Speaker 15 (33:22):
I would have been eighteen?
Speaker 6 (33:23):
Yeah? Wow.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
I remember when New Zealand. The first guys to jump
two meters in New Zealand were Mark Wooley and another guy,
and it was front page of the newspaper. It was
that big a deal jumping two meters.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
It's impressive, but you've got now you've jumped to it's agredible.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Old were you when you hit puberty?
Speaker 2 (33:42):
Eight?
Speaker 3 (33:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (33:43):
That's what I thought.
Speaker 5 (33:44):
So where too do you go straight into another competition
from the Olympics or do you have a bit of downtime?
Speaker 1 (33:49):
What happens now?
Speaker 9 (33:50):
No holiday at the moment, thankfully, So yeah, bit of
a holiday and then I'll pick up the training again
next month and then March is our next big competition.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
But now you're going to target on your back. Now
you're going into every event as Olympic champion. How are
you going to cope with that?
Speaker 7 (34:04):
Oh?
Speaker 9 (34:04):
I think it's such cool feeling. I mean, I much
rather going to everything the Olympic champion than the not.
So yeah, it's definitely going to be a different feeling,
but we'll definitely make most of it.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
This This interview has gone quite well. I just wanted
to say, just going back to the windows great Olympians.
That interview didn't go so well? Can we just roll
that clip? Just thanks?
Speaker 5 (34:27):
James offered Dancing with Stars or New Zealand's Got Talent
or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Which show would you go on? Was the dancing one?
Speaker 6 (34:39):
And I don't.
Speaker 4 (34:42):
Jesus, it's live too.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
We can't go back. Oh god, I'm starting to feel awkward.
Can we just carry on.
Speaker 7 (34:53):
To you?
Speaker 2 (34:56):
Farted? And you tried to blame it on Lana.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
Oh, no, I didn't fart. I'm leaving because I'm obviously
standing in the smoke cloud. No, you farted, and you
go back, go back. I don't believe that's possible.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
I'm not sure why that was just interjected into your interview.
Do you have an opportunity to go into schools or
universities and talk to.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
You're not asking because no, I would never.
Speaker 5 (35:20):
I'm just trying to draw the attention away actually from
both of you. Do you have an opportunity to go
in and you know now, I mean, you've got a
form of celebrity that will be with you for the
rest of your life. It must be really exciting. And
I'm you know, and that's a difficult role in itself
to be in the public eye. But is that something
that you look forward to or you can have an
(35:41):
opportunity to do as well?
Speaker 15 (35:43):
Yeah, yes, yes I do.
Speaker 9 (35:45):
I get to go into schools and stuff now, which
is which is pretty cool. I went into one the
other day and I think five hundred kids passed my
metal around and all had a look. So, you know,
to be able to have that sort of that sort
of effect on people as really exciting. It's definitely something
I'm very grateful for.
Speaker 15 (36:01):
But it was also weird.
Speaker 9 (36:02):
You know, when you're you're in the supermarket and you're
picking up your six packs of beers and your beggar
chips to also have people sort of stop.
Speaker 15 (36:08):
And go congratulations. So yeah, slightly different world life.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
Yeah yeah, And what what are you going to do
when you when you finish sport? Because I have a
sneaking suspicion the big fella is destined for greatness, like
perfect attitude.
Speaker 6 (36:25):
You know, dog Karen's doing, you know, inspiring people.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Well, why do we ask him what he's going to do?
Speaker 4 (36:31):
That's where I was going, and you interrupted me. You
heard the question.
Speaker 15 (36:37):
No, I'm interested.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
What do you like?
Speaker 15 (36:39):
What do you guys think I should be doing?
Speaker 9 (36:40):
Because I mean, look, I did an economics degree and
and like you said, there is definitely some some opportunities
for me out there, but I'm still.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
Not quite sure what I'm going to do it with
the be No, is there a career we can just
get high things off shelves and stuff like that?
Speaker 15 (36:54):
Is there a career self stacker broken or banking?
Speaker 4 (36:58):
I would do if I were you? I mean an
economics degree.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Actually here is Here is a clip that that Lana
sent me that about the parapositive thinking. Have a look
at this. This was something that LATAs seen me amongst
all the idea and jukes that she sees me.
Speaker 10 (37:13):
There was a study done in Florida at a tennis
academy and what they looked at was what is the
difference between those tennis players that are top five in
the world first those that are top twenty five. Was
it their diet?
Speaker 7 (37:30):
No?
Speaker 10 (37:31):
Was it their exercise?
Speaker 7 (37:32):
No?
Speaker 10 (37:34):
Was it when they started playing the game?
Speaker 7 (37:35):
No?
Speaker 10 (37:37):
Was it they're coaching.
Speaker 7 (37:38):
No.
Speaker 10 (37:40):
What they actually found was this, the difference between the
top five ranked people in the world and the others
in the top twenty five was their thinking in the
ten to fifteen seconds after a point had been scored.
In tennis, those athletes that thought positive things things such as,
(38:10):
I love this game, There's nowhere else I'd rather be.
I may have not got that shot, but I'm gonna
get the next one.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
Watch this.
Speaker 10 (38:20):
Those athletes that thought positive, it slowed down their heart rate,
slowed down their breathing rate, and across the entire competition.
They were conserving a lot of energy. They were feeling
better about themselves and thus across an entire tennis match.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
And if you're in a sport, we're in every event
you have failure, you knocked the bar down. How do
you cope? Do you do think in the positive way
when that happens?
Speaker 15 (38:51):
Yeah, look, I love that video.
Speaker 9 (38:53):
I've seen that a number of times and it's definitely
one that I It probably changed my thinking a little bit.
One of the things we used to talk about is
sort of this feeling that like feelings aren't real. You know,
they're all kind of a product of your external environment
and what's happening around you. But the way that you
kind of react to that is can cannot be real sometimes,
(39:15):
you know, you can't perceive something to be really negative
when it actually is positive. And so yeah, I think,
you know, in those hard moments and those those failures
I suppose that we all deal with as athletes, it's
it's just around trying to frame them as well as
possible as to sort of what the reason for them
happening are. And you know, I've dealt with a lot
of failure in my career and a lot of success.
But I think that in terms of learning moments and
(39:38):
moments that will sort of continue to future prove my career.
Speaker 15 (39:41):
It's definitely the negatives.
Speaker 6 (39:43):
And it's not just in the sporting environment either, is it.
Speaker 7 (39:45):
I mean you could be like say party asshole or something,
you know, and sort of fall backwards her ranch slide
or something at a function or accent or maybe what
do you call it?
Speaker 4 (39:55):
Even dive through lunch could be a lunch and even.
Speaker 6 (39:58):
Doesn't have to be an evening party, and it could
be a lunch time event.
Speaker 4 (40:01):
It'll be a champagne beaver.
Speaker 6 (40:02):
Could you could you think it was.
Speaker 7 (40:09):
You? Could you know, fall back at your ard slide,
take the whole thing out, you know, and you could
form beto bad about that?
Speaker 3 (40:15):
You know?
Speaker 15 (40:15):
So Lee, did you learn from that that that that
experience It's.
Speaker 6 (40:20):
Only early days, only happened a couple of nights ago.
So look, I'll let you know.
Speaker 7 (40:24):
On that, I'd say I think I have I think
I've learned to compartmentalize it. Probably the best way of
putting it isolate it and move on.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
I mean, we could think about you falling through a
large run slide, or we could actually go to the
Olympics where you were on the verge of being knocked
out because you missed your two jumps and you had
to make the third job. So how did you How
did you be positive about that situation?
Speaker 9 (40:47):
Yeah, I wouldn't say I was positive about that situation.
Definitely wasn't one that I wanted to be in. But
I think, yeah, it's again, it just comes down to
the training we do. And you know, as a as
an athlete, you prepare for these these moments and and
you you work out that Just like LI said, there's
sometimes you have unfortunate miss apes happened, and that definitely
happened in one of my jumps, and so I was
(41:09):
put in that position. But yeah, thankfully I had people
around me, especially my coach, who was able to sort
of calm me down a little bit and just.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Look at this, saying, what did you say there? Fascinated?
Speaker 15 (41:19):
He just he just said, stay, you know, stay true
to the process that we've been working on.
Speaker 9 (41:24):
Keep the belief and what you can do, because you know,
this is a jump that you've you've done all year
pretty comfortably, even in training. And some of the things
that I was doing in those jumps those two misses,
I was I was hurrying, I was I was missing
a couple of phases of my run up, and so
he sort of just brought me back to those those
things and just said it was all going to be okay.
And you know, I was there literally looking at him like,
(41:45):
am I going to be okay? Which you know, usually
I don't rely on him quite as strongly in that
sort of emotional piece, but for him to be able
to look me in the eyes and say, yeah, You're
going to be fine was definitely really good.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
All I can say is it was one of the
highlights of the games.
Speaker 4 (41:59):
For the highlight, the highlight as.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
A nation, I think we all celebrated so much.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
You love attitude, love beautiful moment.
Speaker 9 (42:07):
Yeah, thanks how much, all the best, mate, Thanks fellows,
thanks having me on.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
I do ever been in an apology to make apology music? Yeah,
because I like to apologize to you all because I
got a little bit excited the week before with the
win on the dogs and stuff. The money was coming in,
and so I went to the t ib this week
and put all their money.
Speaker 4 (42:30):
On the stop.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Stop.
Speaker 4 (42:31):
You've got like a buggy hair, right nostril, right, mate,
back to the beginning.
Speaker 2 (42:37):
How are you looking at it closely?
Speaker 4 (42:38):
Well, got you've got a nose like ken Kong. Remember
it's been broken fourteen times?
Speaker 7 (42:46):
Right?
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Can you start getting apology music? I'd like to apologize
to you all because you're talking to no to you three.
Speaker 4 (42:55):
Because setting up for this.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
I had the money from the t B. I got
excited because we won on the Dogs the week before,
and I thought i'd have a different strategy this week.
I thought I'd go big Odds's. So I just bet
on everything that a new girl dumb. I'm trying to
say that I lost all their money at the TB.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
Knew that we knew that there was going to Did
you bet against your bags?
Speaker 2 (43:19):
Be against your bloody's self surprised? I bet on Argentina,
the bit South Africa. I been on the New York
Jets and they didn't score a touchdown. So I think
I'm going to hand it over to you. Lee.
Speaker 6 (43:31):
Yeah, I'll take over the A for a week. Yeah sure,
because what am I going any money to play with?
Speaker 2 (43:36):
How much have we got?
Speaker 4 (43:37):
What's your budget?
Speaker 2 (43:38):
A hundred bucks? I bet one hundred bucks every week,
so Lee.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Will probably spend it on beer.
Speaker 4 (43:45):
Well sure, sure, it's going to make us all heavy.
Speaker 1 (43:50):
That might be irresponsible and.
Speaker 2 (43:52):
And also mascots. Do you like mascots?
Speaker 4 (43:56):
Wow, I love a mascot.
Speaker 1 (43:58):
Messcott's at the basketball.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
Last night was the Breakers. You were at the Breakers,
went to the Breakers.
Speaker 4 (44:03):
I really enjoyed the Breakers.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
I think it was like a.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
Were you there was it check of the kid.
Speaker 1 (44:10):
They just had heads.
Speaker 6 (44:11):
But it was just heads and little little wind.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
There were the mascots that you dunks and stuff.
Speaker 5 (44:18):
They went flashed mascots. They were they were just mascots
running around.
Speaker 2 (44:22):
Here's some mascots this week the big game.
Speaker 1 (44:25):
They went to the body suits.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
There's a big game in the US every every year
where the where the mascots play the kids and pee
wee football And have a look at this.
Speaker 16 (44:37):
Little trickeration from the peewee's and blue with the sack
little extra curriculars.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
They're blue. This is a great run by mascot and
then a nice fan for the face of the kids.
Speaker 6 (44:58):
I love it. I love it, and.
Speaker 4 (45:03):
So good smash them, yeah, just.
Speaker 2 (45:06):
Take and then this is a great but the play
here from the mascots. Not the kid out of the way.
And then nice throw to the horse.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
That's so good.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
While we do that, it's a lot more fun. I
feel like these guys are a little bit more serious
about their careers.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
So in the US it's actually a course academy cost
by the money go and train to be a mascot.
Speaker 1 (45:31):
They probably get paid quite well as well.
Speaker 4 (45:33):
Ye seriously, if you put the human cannonball as a
mascot and fight them the length of a field into
a net like they do it basically the super top
rather circus.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
So we heard from the cannonballs, I mean after last week,
surely he must have reached out.
Speaker 4 (45:47):
I spoke to him a couple of days ago.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Was he breaking down?
Speaker 4 (45:50):
No, you just want to take the balls on why
he heard from Lord down?
Speaker 2 (45:55):
I think we need to covertly do you think do
you think that we need more mascots in New Zealand sports, Yes.
Speaker 6 (46:01):
As long as they can be and instead of what
we do at the moment everything half well.
Speaker 4 (46:06):
We had a problem with Shack the Cat.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
I knew you'd raise Check the Cat and Deneeda.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
Well he if we can No, no, no, not at all.
I mean he was just exuberant and an enthusiasm. It
was a great mass He's a black panther and he
was the attaging mascot and you had this when they're
burning shit on the terraces. So it's like knock yourself out,
you do.
Speaker 2 (46:28):
Whatever you like.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
And at one stage we're losing to somebody, and that
there were some members of the must have been Canterbury.
We members of the audience in black and yellow, and
he pulled his tail between his legs and proceeded to
do a discript a describble act with it.
Speaker 1 (46:45):
It's definitely a skill.
Speaker 4 (46:46):
It's a skill and a good act. And you know
that was the end of that, which I thought to
be fair, that the Canterbury supporters to zero. Do you
know the theory that John Lesley's got, Well, no, it's
similar to Donald Trump and that you should build a wall.
That the wall should be around Canterbury because all the
(47:07):
people in Canaby would love that and all the people
outside cannab would love it. It's actually much better than
the Wall of Mexico.
Speaker 2 (47:13):
So where are you from, Lee, all the Cantabrians all around.
Speaker 1 (47:20):
Would you go back to Canterbury or do you have
a special pass?
Speaker 4 (47:23):
And it works absolute genius call.
Speaker 5 (47:29):
We just said you wouldn't be a very good mascot
because you're too angry and you you put a mask
on it, no basket. It's just you couldrew them up
as a fairy princess and it's still come across as angry.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
I feel quite hurt that you don't think i'd make
a great mascot.
Speaker 4 (47:48):
I think you'd be.
Speaker 1 (47:49):
It's a special breed.
Speaker 6 (47:51):
Bring on, bring on the go.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
You have like a pool in the grounds on a
diving board above it.
Speaker 5 (48:02):
Just if we do this much longer, we're not going
to be invited or be allowed to be anywhere.
Speaker 4 (48:07):
Whoa it just falls and leads in a tiny peddling pool.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
Play the titles.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
I'd love to know you, Timmy the diving board to
a paraple A gone suit?
Speaker 2 (48:38):
That would I would, actually I don't need a do
gone suit, don't. I'm a yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:44):
But you know, let's just make sure that it's obvious
for the people who don't recognize you.
Speaker 1 (48:47):
Did you get all your butts on the show? Did
you read your list?
Speaker 2 (48:51):
I've got most of them in there. I didn't have
Gone mascot in there or canary walls.
Speaker 6 (48:57):
That's bonus material.
Speaker 2 (48:58):
It's bonus material
Speaker 4 (49:00):
That that's you know, like the last song on led
Zip's album, good Night Cheer Up, good Night,
