Speaker 1 (00:06):
You're listening to the All Sport Breakfast podcast with Darcy
Wildgrave from News Talk zed B.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
There's only one Jim Dolan, one Jim Dollan only one.
This is probably quite a few Jim Dolan's, but you're
my Jim Dolan. Good morning, Jim.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Dolan's a good morning, Darsie's. Good to see you in
a good mood.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yeah, that's well. I try to be in a good mood.
It's good. Lack of sleep, I can, you know, only
attend one way. I've got to be happy. I thought
i'll pass out. Jim Dolan's our Australian correspond with the
news out of the West. We're starting things off with
the super cars, the race cars. This is a mad
track are this one in Tasmania And apparently there was
snowing there a couple of days ago. And I think

(00:45):
their sponsor is like Snowy River Caravans or something. Oh
the irony, but I think the snow might have stopped.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Yeah, well a Tazzy's. It can be a wild windy
places at this time of year. Snow you can never
rule out. But the racing we're expecting to be fierce
and hot. Brock Feeney, he'd like to get these championship
till back on track at Simmons Plane because he and
his teammate Will Brown failed to finish on the podium
in any race in New Zealand. That hasn't happened at

(01:14):
the Triple eight Racing team in two years, and they're
aware of the history that the team that tends to
dominate in Tazzy generally goes on to win the title.
So feene is pretty happy that he's the fastest after
practice sessions on Friday and he wants to improve on
that today so he can move up from his fourth

(01:35):
place in the overall standings. His teammate, of course, Will Brown,
leads the championship races and he's confident of cranking up
a gear when the racing starts today. So they are
talking it up and they're looking forward to a good
performance across the weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
It's a mental race because of the circuit itself. It's
in the South of Lawn system, South of Law. It's
called Simmon's Planes. It actually looks like a lamb chop.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I. Actually it's known now that you've mentioned.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Yeah, the run do they run chains?

Speaker 3 (02:11):
They've got to be assaulting the track.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Yeah, that'd be so that should be a very instanting week.
He wants Tasmania in four forty. So there are two
races today, one race tomorrow. Enough of my motorsport problem,
let's move on to our next subject. That's a big
day for the Warriors. That's a huge day for the Wires.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Yes, they could have a share of top spot on
the NRL Ladder tonight, but they face one of their
bogey teams at a venue where they have a fourteen
percent winning record. They're only they've well been beaten twenty
five times in thirty seven clashes with the Dragons, but
for some reason in Wollongong it tends to bring out

(02:51):
the worst in their performances. However, they do have, like
we said, the opportunity to move to the top of
the ladder because they will know what is at stake
because the top of the table clash happens to be
this afternoon between the Raiders and the Bulldogs. It's only
early in the season, but the chances hit the top
the ladder, I'd imagine there is a pretty good thing

(03:12):
going the state of origin part of the season. So yes,
the wars have plenty to play for this afternoon.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
You knuckle deep in the nostril of the NRL and
pick that bogey. That's why you've got to do. That's
how you get rid of bogey. Team pick and flick
get the Monks.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Well, So the Dragons have lost too in a row
in the Warrior this Warriors have won three straight. So
now is the time.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Any idea what goes on that competition? It's absolutely mad,
which is why we love it so much. So War's
wishing them the best. And yeah, and the Dragons because
old Nathan Feen, old mate Poene used to play for
rather Dragons. They went title after he left the Wars Yeah,
never mind. And Super Rugby. Can the Brumbies for John

(03:59):
Do they have greater things in mind? Can they get
to the top of the mountain?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
Well, they're playing with force tonight and they obviously want
to keep going and compounded forces. Disappointing season so far,
but it's interesting that you can see that with the
British and Irish Lions coming soon, that rugby starting against
and traction in the local media and most of the
ink today is dedicated to an incident that happened last

(04:25):
night that didn't even determine the result. But Joseph Swale
you spoke with before about the accidental meat of the head.
He was stretched from the field. He was deemed to
have a Grade one concussion so he couldn't come back
in the game. The coach said afterwards that he was
a bit dizzy, no structural damage. That they're all sweating
on the recovery session today because he is a big

(04:47):
selling ticket when it comes to the British and Irish
Lions hitting town.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Yeah, no huge. So I know, is the Western Force
or the Western Force North Sydney Bears or a combination
of the BA I lose trait with what Diville and
goes on about all the time.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
I don't know where he says Twiggy Forests, who's Australia
billionaire with a lot to do with the Western Force.
He would like them to be friends, since I'll be
sharing at home ground and I imagine that the end
there will be cross code rivals well, as long as.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I don't actually play in each other's team. Because you
can just see something going awfully wrong. Okay, guy getting
tackled bit a concussion and then putting it between his legs,
rolling it on with his boot. Another story, another day.
Jim Dolan always fun. Thanks so much for your time.
You have a storming, storming good weekend and congratulations to

(05:36):
your boomers and your opals four year the Trans Tasman
throw up victory. Well done you guys.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
You distrap yourself to the couch for Sporting Weekend.
