Speaker 1 (00:06):
You're listening to the All Sport Breakfast podcast with Darcy
Waldgrave from Youth Talks' B and this is.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Dollar. I was going to try and hold that for
five minutes, Jim nothing, but that was never going to work.
Good morning to your friend. How's life in Australia. How's
the lucky country?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
It's raining?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Okay, that's great, that's uplifting and positive. Thank you for
that in the morning. It's just what we're after.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
That's just in along with New Southwest Coast where it's
been raining all day yesterday and all day today.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Fantastic. Let's talk about something slightly more positive, like the
magnificence that is the state of origin.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
It's just a beast that takes over everything at this
time of year. So of course in New South Wales
the Blues team where a lot of fans didn't panic
up to get one. They just wanted eight or nine changes.
But it seems the coach has got to hold his
nerve for the rookie coach that is, and we're looking
nowt Mitch Moses. They say that if he has forty

(01:18):
minutes of his regular busy game for the Yels against
the Roosters, tonight. He will be the new South Wales
number seven when the team is named tomorrow. For Origin two,
Cam Murray made a successful return for South last night.
Latrelle's change of heart and his step up in form
seems like they'll both be in the squad. Dylan Edwards

(01:39):
just has to show that he's overcome that leg injury
and he will be back in place of mister Tesco
who imagine I'll probably try and aim up tonight too
for the Roosters, while Connor Watson is expected to be
the bench utility, something they really could have done with
in Game one. But yes, that team will be announced
tomorrow night and those expected changes that have already been

(02:00):
leaked to the media.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
You can we at all NRL around so far, just
deviating slightly from chosen course of some of the results.
And the Cowboys and what they'd do after getting absolutely
flogged by the Warriors last week. Turn around to the camera,
raid and set off you go some strange results, ah.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Jimmy, oh yeah, and this well. Nico Heinz had the
chance to just underline his value on Thursday night, but
he missed that gulf the Sharks and they were terrible
giving up eighteen points straight away in that game. And
then of course the Broncos so normally a few of
them fire up at this time of year, but yeah
they're having a shaka.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Well carries on with the sharks and the wires can
be the storm and the evening. Let's move on to
another keen selection week in being watched by the entire
of the lucky country, the entirety of the lucky country.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yes, because the paras Olympics not far away, and the
thing Australians love because how swimmers are generally pretty good
is the swimming. And we will have the red hot
favorites for the women's four by one hundred freestyle relay
at the Paras Olympics. Mollo Hand bounce back from losing
her crown and world record in the two hundred freestyle

(03:10):
to beat a very strong final in the one hundred
Kate Campbell, a full time Olympian, couldn't even make the final. SHANEA.
Jack will get the second spot in Paris. Emma mckinn
won the gold at the Tokyo Olympics in the one
hundred women's freestyle. She will not get to defend her title,
not finishing in the top two there. And you know
things are tough in the Australian swimming team when we

(03:33):
have Sam Short missing the final of the men's fifteen
hundred through illness, but he already has a qualifying time
that left Matt Glere to basically lead by himself in
the final. He won that final in an Olympic qualifying time,
but it was four seconds outside the time Swimming Australia
set as the benchmark for Paris. So when the team's
read out tonight, Maddi Ghlea will be thinking about what

(03:57):
else he's going to be doing when the Australian swim
teams in Paris because of the stringent standards set by
the board.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
That's what happens in the time of the g Right.
You've got to like that, don't you, Or was just
like not popular.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Oh, it's tough for him because you've got to think
that he might be able to find a couple more
seconds in Paris. But yeah, it's a tough benchmarks over
and obviously he's working. We just now need these people
to hold onto that form for another six or seven
weeks so they can do the stuff in Paris.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
You claim in your notes, Jim Dolan. This is super
rugby that people are actually talking about after last night,
Are you sure?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Yeah, they're not talking about the Brumbies exit in the Semis.
It's hard at Gordon his cross code switch, that two
year deal on the Gold Coast which sort of caught
everybody plays surprise. The Titans have now followed up on
that and they've boldly requested his release now they want
to get the hands on him before June thirty. They

(04:54):
see a chance for him to play in the NRL
this year, which would be just incredible considering he's not
played the rugby league. AAU boss Phil Wore at this
moment is playing hardball, saying that he a required player.
Hard to see him featuring in the Wallaby squad for
the test matches coming up this year, given the fact
that he's already said you are going to try something

(05:15):
else next year.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Has this gone down well or has it been more
like this legendary cup of cold sick? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Well, there's some rugby people upset in their leather hatches,
but for rugby league people, a lot of them are
saying Carda who So I think there's probably a few
people have googled now what his abilities are, especially Titans fans,
and yeah, it's a big step for him and a
lot of people saying they can't believe he's given up
the chance to play against the British and Irish Lions

(05:46):
in a couple of years and a World Cup after that.
Although he's only a two year deal so perhaps he
could switch back in time to be considered for the
World Cup. But I don't know how rugby officials might
see that of players copying and choosing what kind.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Of money, Jim, why did he go an opportunity? Surely
they must have given an absolute set. Don't go over there, surely.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Well, they talk about wanting a challenge, and sure you
could challenge yourself by switching to the Roosters or the
Storm or someone, but if you want a real challenge
in life, you go to the Titans.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah it's a challenge, all right, I'll give them that.
It's got to be the money. Good on your gym,
You have a great weekend, mate, Look forward to next weekend,
same time, same channel. Blah blah blah blah blah. Good
on your pal.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
I'll look forward to your suit pictures next Friday.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Ah, yeah, see you reckon. I'm gonna Shall I pair
up some white Nike high tops next time with the
black suit? What do you reckon? Am I Garmen places
or not?

Speaker 3 (06:39):
Yeah? You're a fashioned I cock.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:45):

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
