Speaker 1 (00:00):
So Doug Lang joining me out of the Hawkspace show,
the Great Ray Harneyer shares our special guest here, Doug.
Yesterday you had the school sharing events boys and girls
from four different schools, taken out by George from Napier Boys. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Indeed there was twenty five competitors in there yesterday and
the quality was just just amazing. And they do guys
like Roaldy Smith and picture local instructor and guiding them
as they go along. And some of the people who
lookally just picked up a hand piers and done a
course at school. Others might have been had a hand
piss in their hands since they're eight years old. Wow,
(00:38):
it sort of sorts themselves out through two different classes.
But I don't know if there's anybody got to cheat
this out a single penalty, but there were certainly several
of the only had one penalty. Well they didn't let
them know that go on if you like, on a
normal basis, that that it wasn't going to be taken
into an easier but that.
Speaker 1 (00:56):

share where are you up to so far?
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Exactly? So they've just been having senior sharing semifinals. Now
this particular that's always unpredictable to what sort of numbers
you get today. It's probably probably been average. But in
other parts of the country it's not a holiday of course. Yeah,
but there are a few from as far as the
White Cattle. I noticed for example John Sherrington who actually
won down at Elvesmere, Canibury last Saturday. He's here that
(01:25):
they haven't having made the move back up and also
written from around Huntley and he fact he's a Shawn
and that's a senior semi final. Looks good for the
finals there we'll have the open sharing heaps getting under
wage shortly the world and then heats look like a
few of the usual suspects. Of course, one or two
the way over in Australia for the transitsment tests this weekend.
(01:47):
And of course there's a lot of history of the show.
As we've said before that you know Hawk stage show
stage machine sharing competitions back in nineteen oh two and
it appears to have been the first machine cheering competition
many are in the world, and that was won by
really meant to be use a great Ray Hannia. So
that's where we get the name of the competition from
which we've views since we revived it back in the
twenty twenty four and that the school's common just re
(02:11):
started in twenty thirteen. And the original winner of that
I called lacking Maniche. He's now a prominent senior will
hander and an open sharer.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
And a lovely, lovely human. Will you enjoy the rest
of the afternoon, Doug Lang, I really appreciate the way
update there from the great Ray Hanniah Shares.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
He just went very brief, and you mentioned rainy or
a show. So I've just heard just as I've picked
up my phony here actually that certainly the sharing is
offset tomorrow because of the weather. Oh no, I don't
know how it's effective the rest of the show.
