totally a couple of quiets.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
And that's all.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Kind of in celebration of Toy bringing back their world
famous billboards.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
A feeling.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Well, I think I think everyone can agree that. You know,
time's been pretty tough lately. You know, the mood is down,
the mood of the nation, Jason, the world's mood is
pretty poor. And I think we could we could all
do with a laugh, and thank god they've brought back
these Tooy billboards because they are doing just that.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
I've been driving along just person myself.
Speaker 6 (00:59):
Well that's the thing. I mean, we know we sometimes
try and make people laugh. Sure doesn't often stick. You
go past one of them billboards, boom.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
There it is.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, absolutely, and you're right. Make you beautifully put, mate,
thank beautifully put.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
We all need to laugh down.
Speaker 6 (01:13):
And I said that pretty much every single show, three
times a show.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Can I just say to the front.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
I have never seen your white teeth so stretched. Yes,
and it's doing something to me. It's it's causing a
steer in the old body of hoody. J God, you're
looking good, mate, is it.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
In your loins?
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Man? Yes, my lord.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
I appreciate that you're mad dog, you are a sick
son of a be. But I do like having your
eyes on me. Yes, sure, because I feel you've giving
me the old up and down, you know, the old
up and down?
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Yes, yes, scan scan up and down. Yeah, yeah, yeah, And.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I'm loving it. And I'm sorry. This ship will fit
me in about a month when I've lost a few kilos.
But you're right, it is too tight.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
The only time you've ever actually got angry with me
is when I look out the window at someone else,
not on you, not on me, and I'm aware of that, Keezy. Yes,
you're looking great, mate. The only thing I'd say about
what you're wearing at the moment it feels like a
winter shirt to me.
Speaker 6 (02:04):
Oh my shackert. Is it a shacket, It's my corduroy shacket,
a shirt jacket.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
It looks very heavy out there.
Speaker 6 (02:17):
Hello, hey, yeah, no, I've just got a T shirt.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Now we're talking.
Speaker 6 (02:23):
I've got an I've got to see an event later
on tonight. And after that event it will be like
eleven PM or something, it'll be cold. Now, no one,
I'll need my shacket.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, you're right, yeah, right, but right now when the
sun is shining, brother, get it off. Yeah. Speaking of
is that a seagull ship?
Speaker 4 (02:38):
Is it my seagull?
Speaker 3 (02:39):
Well, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (02:40):
You've got two bird shirts, one of seagulls and that
one's like geese or something.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
This is the one.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
This is the weird shirt that Mike Lane used to own.
My it was true story. My wife got this from
a thrift shop. I was wearing it one day and
Mike Lane went, my god, that's the shirt I used
to wear, and so he obviously better.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
My wife bought it. Hoy j where is it?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Let's win for old hot.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Hey, now I tell you we have a strong king
shower head. But let's get into a few tunes.
Speaker 3 (03:14):
You don't want to say, what's on the show?
Speaker 1 (03:15):
At all, you know, to be honest, The Darky Big
Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keisy.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Actually, Mike, ye baby, do you think you're an angry person?
An angry person? No, it's okay. On occasion, I've got
a fews, that's for sure, But generally speaking, I'm a
very very laid back Yeah.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
Your your default sitting is not anger No, no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
On radio Jason, yeah, yourself an angry person?
Speaker 4 (03:52):
Ship No.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
I if I get any more laid back, it's dangerous,
you know what I mean? I mean, I feel if
I was more laid back than I already am, I
wouldn't get off the couch. Kesy, Yeah, I wouldn't get
out of bed keysy if I was any more laid back.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Yeah right, he's pretty chill.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Yeah I am chill.
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Yeah yeah cool. It's just because I don't think you are.
Oh I think. And this is obviously coming from a friend.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Oh yeah, who would that be me?
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Oh from a colleague?
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yeah, oh colleague?
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, from a work acquainted.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
So we're not friends.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
No, we are good if you're keen to be sure sweet,
So as a friend, I just think, howdy, j friend,
we we did what friends do. We hung out today.
We played some golf. It was great, haughty j Did
you played really well?
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Man?
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Thanks?
Speaker 5 (04:45):
Man?
Speaker 3 (04:46):
He played the best he's ever played, one hundred.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
And three out of eighteen there, Magi, we were tired
after nine piece.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yeah, this is awesome. No, no, tell me more. So
he's playing really well. I'm playing terrible. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:01):
The amount of iffing and jeffing coming from Hoidy j
after a good shot, I'll say something like that's great him, Yeah,
but it's you know, you've still got work to do.
What you know, jeffing about everything positive? Anything positive? Not
IF and Jeff IF and Jiff IF and jiff.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (05:17):
Meanwhile, I'm having an absolute shocker and I'm still happy. Yeah,
And I just think, Jase, maybe we've got to do
something about your anger.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Well, I mean, I'm not aware.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
We just calm down, just bring it down a level,
if that's all good.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Well, as I said.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I'm not aware that I you know that I IF
and Jeff certainly I never do that on air and
actually sort of take a bit offense to that. Next year, Keezy,
And because I know Magie doesn't feel that way, we
get on like a house on fire.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Well, I certainly, I mean absolutely we do. And I've
sort of taken your point. You're sort of you're sort
of of a generation where you've just got an underlying
fury in you at all times. There's a raging me. Yeah,
and that's why I just find it funny. Yeah, yeah,
I like it. But I can understand how people have
Keezy is generation? What generation are you again? I think
I'm a millennial right right. They're very sensitive what I'm.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
A perennial, and that is you know, it's it's notorious
for perennials, yeah, or is it pereneums?
Speaker 4 (06:13):
I remember peraneums.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
That's yeah, Yeah, that's quite a characteristic that is of
the peraneum sort of.
Speaker 6 (06:21):
Yeah, but just because all the other parandems are doing
it doesn't mean you have to do it, you know
what I mean? And if I because I'm now tired
into hanging out with haughty j on a weekly basis,
we've agreed to play golf together and.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
I don't want to be with this angry guy. Yeah
for four hours? Was there any hate speech? Do you
even have to ask the question?
Speaker 4 (06:37):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (06:38):
So, Jace, it's all good. You're a peraneum. You get
angry from time time, that's fine, everyone gets angry. Do
you reckon up next? We can just do a few
exercises that I found that will just I think next
time around it will just help the fuse.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Not sure man, as I say any of them, I
don't No, I don't have with any of it. Can
you hate this song?
Speaker 1 (07:04):
The Hold Aking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy
tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
I can the cure there on this gorgeous gorgeous What
is it? Are we in summer year on spring spring afternoon?
Speaker 6 (07:19):
You Thursday afternoon, isn't it Jason? It's twenty three minutes
past four?
Speaker 5 (07:24):
It is?
Speaker 4 (07:25):
Yeah, yeah, but it's actually twenty four minutes.
Speaker 6 (07:28):
This is see, this is what I'm talking about. If
you just joined us, I've just ja say, has had
a bit of an anger problem. How long for have
you been angry? Jas your entire life? Actually just on that,
by the way, just answer the question.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Just on that, by the way.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Later on, I've got to make an apology to a
punter out there. But to be honest, I haven't been
away that I've got an anger issue. But you know,
I've got to take it from my colleagues that I do.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Yeah, so it's probably been you've been like this whole
life though.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
Oh yeah, I've been in a rage since I was
about two.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yeah, right, so that's seventy odd years of just being
angry at the world, you know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (07:59):
Forty three okay, alright, forty one forty one now yeah, yeah,
So what I thought, I've been googling some sort of
techniques to help manage anger, and seeing as we are
a tight knit group here at thehotle acupicture Mogi and
I can help you with it. Sure, So next time
you're furious, I need you just to just to picture
(08:21):
me and Moggi there with you.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
All right.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
I have no problem picturing Moggi. I can tell you
that first.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
That's fine.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
You can top this case.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
You can picture Mogi there. It's fine.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Actually, when I picture you, Keysy, I see you burnt
me pennies is about you, man?
Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah, I'm just telling you, what if you.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Could just lower the Yeah it is, And this is
kind of what Keysy is talking about. Jase. All right,
So next time you're angry, which is all the time.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Sure, By the way, can I just say I had
a red ball before.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Can you just take the seriously? Please make sure sure?
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Man?
Speaker 3 (08:55):
You keep saying sure and then interrupting sure.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Actually, my wife hates it when I sure have I
told you guys, So.
Speaker 6 (09:03):
When you're angry, next timmer right, which is all the time. Sure,
I just need you to just forget about everything, right.
So just he just told him to remember me and
you we're there.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Picture.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Are you naked though? Sure? Okay, just see already my anger.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
See I'm getting passed off now. Can you just whoa
whoa who? You want to calm down?
Speaker 5 (09:25):
Bro?
Speaker 3 (09:25):
Sorry, Mike, I come in here with that kind of temper.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
It's like when I see your naked body, it's like
a comedy body for me, and that makes me feel
less angry, makes me feel happy.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Oh that's great man, Picture that I'm there with my comedy. Yeah,
I think jas this is probably a step forward for you.
And sorry to step in heresy, but maybe uh naddy
Bubby chris Key keasy as we call them as your.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
Spirit animal, Yeah yeah, maybe yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Yeah, little bit meat patties there, sure, Mike, little button,
can we just doue the exercise? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, you know,
you work your ass off.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
You put together you boy, just just easy think of
old hoody j therekeasy.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Yeah, okay, yeah, that's that's helpful. Thanks fellows. Yeah, I'll
do that.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
It's a little excited to take my top off.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Maybe. Well one of your buttons is already kind of undone,
so I can sort of see into.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Your between your buzzies. There you seeing the side.
Speaker 6 (10:29):
But what I want you to do next time you're
angry when we're on the golf course and you're iNFiNiT
Jeff and it pretty much nothing. Just forget about everything,
you know. Forget about the fact that you lost your
head cover off your golf club, even though that brand new.
Forget that, sure man. Forget that you didn't have your
papers on you and you couldn't roll any darries.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
Well the juns out, Magi. I did have my papers
on me there in my back pocket, in his back pocket.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
Could have checked every other pocket and my bloody you
must sing filthy sturdy man, and you had one barry
at that point.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Forget that rue your dog was barking constantly at the fireworks.
Forget all that you forget that, do you know what
I mean? Forget that your wife said, you over boil
her morning coffee. Forget that. I want you to list
off all these things and just forget them.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
Yeah, Well I'm visitalizing you guys nude of course.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
Yeah. Me and I've got my comedy body.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
Yeah yeah, yeah, forget that.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
You lose it scrabble every time.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Surprisingly large testicles actually on my body. Yes, Mogi, yours
are perfect and they're so why.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Don't you just take the serious.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Just come on, nokeezy keezy, come on, buddy.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
Sure The Hurdiarchy Big Show week days from four on
Radio Hodarchy.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
The Kings of Leon.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Yeah, listen their playlist a lot at a good band.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
They are a good, good solid band for me. Them
and Pearl Jam.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
Actually, someone said to me, Yes said as I was
coming out of the dairy. Better Pearl Jam tomorrow, Jay say,
is there a gig tonight tomorrow?
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Oh what an idiot? Yeah, yeah, totally wrong. He probably
turned up at the stadiums. Do no one there? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:08):
Yeah probably so thirty seconds there of just Hoody J
music chat.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
Good.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Yeah, we should get that sponsored music chat with Hodi J.
It will require you having a chat with that guy
every time you had a diary.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
True.
Speaker 6 (12:21):
Hey, speaking of having chats with people, have you heard
about Big Dick Energy. Yep, Trade Tested, dot Coto and
Zida have come on board. They want to hook you
up with whatever you want from Trade Tested up to

Speaker 6 (12:43):
Tomorrow we'll be drawing the first Dick owner and awarding

pic a dick pic of your dick to the radio Instagram, yeah,
you can win a daily spot prize one hundred dollars
(13:03):
from trade Testing.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
Think of that mogie five five K worth of stuff,
you know, because it's perfect weather for your old DIY,
isn't it.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
I couldn't agree with you more. Hey, fellers, I've been
having a bit of an issue at home here and
I just want to bore you with it. Is it okay?
Speaker 4 (13:16):
Fill your boob? Okay.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
So I've got a tree outside my house which isn't strange.
Lots of people who have trees outside their houses one
and this one is right outside my bedroom window, and
it's got birds that are living in it, which is
also not weird. But what is weird about it is
all through winter there's a couple of birds. They're just
they're bad influencers. And they wake up at four o'clock
(13:38):
and they bang on for about an hour chatter, bit
of chit chat and bed and then they go out
and get some food for the day. Sure, they bag
her off around about five. But now so it's even
worse than the winter. But now it's summer. So I
round about five o'clock. But I just I can't. I
can't sleep through it o'clock five o'clock. Yeah, yeah, So
(13:58):
last night I go to bed at ten thirty. We've
decided would start Blake, watch a little bit of Telly
Big Night, and then we got into bed, and within
about three minutes my daughter got out of bed and
she was up for the next two hours. Sure, a
little bit of chit chat, a little bit of this
and that, no particular reason, no rhyme or reason as
to why she's up, but she's up. So then finally
(14:20):
get to be at about twelve thirty or one, and
then the birds start at five. Yeah, I'm just wondering
what my options are because this is every single morning.
So every single morning I get woken up at five
am or a little bit before and I have to
go into the spear room and go to sleep in
there because you can't hear them in there. That's a
pain in the ass or to do that when I
just think to myself, it feels like these birds are
(14:43):
on thin ice.
Speaker 6 (14:44):
Man, right, so you want things you can do to
not hear them well, to stop the birds singing their Well,
I'm not a I'm not a heavy heavy sleeper.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
I'm a light sleeper, okay, so I'm not going to
not hear them. Right. They need to take a look
at their own behavior and make a few changes before
old Moggie makes some changes for them.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
The first thing that comes to mind, as old Hoodie
Jay gets over there with his chainsaw, just whips that
bastard down.
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Yes, just takes the whole.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
The problem that they've got there is you're not really
it's a bit of an ambulance at the bottom of
the cliff there, because what's stopping the birds from moving
to the next tree because we've got another tree.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Well, immediately, what immediately springs the mind is deck all
the trees around your house, all the trees.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Just whip them off.
Speaker 3 (15:32):
You're going to dick them.
Speaker 4 (15:33):
Yeah, we'll just cut them down. Yeah, that would be
my omission.
Speaker 6 (15:37):
You could get like a really long stick and just
poke the nest out of the tree.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Yes, you know what I mean mentioned.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
I think the problem with pushing the nest out is
they will rebuild. They will rebuild because the bird will
fly away. Now, if it was going to potentially plummet
to its death, if I did that, it might be
worth considering.
Speaker 2 (15:58):
The next thing that springs to mind, mind is a
giant net over the tree, right, so they can't land
in said tree, like a giant fishing net, or.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Like in the book The Twits, you paint the branches
with glue. Yes, and then you make a bird pie
out of them.
Speaker 5 (16:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
Sure, But the only problem with that is they'd be
stuck in the tree, yes, and in distress.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
Yes, and then only for a period Oh yeah yeah true.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Okay, Well, what about what can I get in touch
with the council. With the council, I.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
Reckon write a letter. These are really good ideas of
Wayne Brown. I've got an idea that's probably not as good. Okay,
we're air plugs, yeah yeah. Or shift your main bedroom
into the spear roomors, yes, and make the spear room
you're room.
Speaker 3 (16:46):
Yeah, well that would work, That would work. But it's
just not a good bedroom, you know what I mean.
It's a bad bedroom. It's a bad bedroom going on
bad juju.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
Yeah, I put it that way. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
I don't know what the solver is because I feel
bad that I want them to. Somebody's just texted here
three four h three, send the Roman candle up them.
Speaker 5 (17:04):
Mike.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
It's a good idea.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Then you'd set off my dog, though, and I'm you know,
I'm having enough of an ashue with my dog as
it is, man.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
A, not somebody else saying here is this bird shot
and get that and this fellow reilembi is shoddy.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
Yeah yeah, okay, the air plug route.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
No, the whole Actually big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike
Minogue and Keezy.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Hey, guys, remember when I was telling you that awesome
yarn about how I didn't get much sleep last night,
so I had about probably three and a half four
hours sleep, and then this morning I get up. I
get up in the morning, and I get my daughter's
breakfast already and get her all sort of for school
and all that sort of stuff. Often, and we collaborate,
(17:50):
my wife and I getting these chores done. Anyway, things
got away from us a little bit this morning because
we're so bagged from the lack of sleep there, and
somehow we managed to be running a little bit late,
which only happens every single day. And I'm trying to
get out the door there, and I'm looking for my
daughter's bag. She's got a school bag. Yes, it's like
(18:12):
a backpack, keysy. Yes, that's right. We're to the YZ.
When you're buying backpacks for kids, get something to look cool,
that looks cool on you, the parent, as opposed to
something that has cute things all over it for the kid,
because the kid will never carry it. You will be
carrying it. It is your backpack. Buy something for yourself.
So looking for the backpack, trying to get out of
the door. Normally, I don't care that I'm running late,
(18:33):
But you remember, guys, I was just telling you I
was a little bit twitchy because I was a little
bit tired. Yes, And so I said, where's the bag?
Speaker 4 (18:40):
There?
Speaker 3 (18:40):
In debt? My wife said, I was by the door.
I said, I'm at the door. I don't see I
don't see the bag. She said, oh, it's by the
front door. And I said, well, I'm going out the
back door. Now I may have had a tone. Sure
she didn't know what door was going out, even though
the cars are parked out the back in the garage,
which is the other end of the house. Sure how
(19:02):
she's supposed to know. So anyway, she goes off to
get the to get the bag from the front door,
and it's quite a long hallway, so she's walking up
the hallway but she doesn't know that I've followed her,
and I'm now coming up to grab the bag off her,
so I'm behind it. Anyway, as she's walking away, she
gets a few meters up the driveway and then she
makes a move with her body, which sort of, well
(19:24):
not sort of, I immediately knew meant the physical version
of yea, he's having a mood, that's right. But she
didn't make any noise, but her body went and so
I said, what's it all about? And she sort of
got a bit of a fright there. She goes, ah,
(19:47):
let's see what was that move all about there that
you just did that, And she said, ah, it's about
you saying that it was the bag you wrong doing that.
So anyway, I was like, all right, good, I take
the bag. I'm off, mate, I'm out the door and
the car, drop the kid off, come back, and I'm
as I'm driving. I'm laughing to myself now because it
(20:08):
was a very funny thing to see. Yes, And I
came back through the door and I just said she
sort of she wasn't sure whether we were in an
argument or not, and I was not in an argument
at this point, but she didn't know that. And I
just said to her, look, if you're going to take
the piss out of me and mock me, can you
at least, you know, show me enough respect to do
it behind my back, sure, and not do it right
in front of me.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
Yeah, So that was bloody good. Yeah, man had and
managed to have a pretty good laugh about it. And yeah,
but it's a funny thing, isn't it, Where you can
read somebody's body language and you know that it's saying.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
The whole aching Big Show with Jason Mike and Kezy.
Tune in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
You're welcome back in assive Bagbones. You're listening to the
big show brought to you by Telly Get it in.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
Yet.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
It's interesting, isn't it with that tongue New Zealand League match.
I don't know if you guys saw that stuff with
Sean Johnson when he was talking to the referee after
the match there and he said as soon as he
did that side step, I knew he was offside, you.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
Know, as soon as he had to do this.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yeah sure, yeah, yourself side. But you know it's exasperating,
isn't it. It's all very well after the event to go,
oh sorry we stuffed it up.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
It's like, well, that's no good to me.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
It would have been a penalty directly in front of
the post exactly know what you're saying. And you train
hard or week brother, and you get out there and
then the officiating lets you down like that. Yes, it's
it's a bitter pillow to pill to have to swallow
an even more bitter pillow swallow because me and love
you're on like another level of the day totally.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Man. I was fuman. I'm still fuman.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
What's the name of the guy that was offside?
Speaker 4 (21:50):
Oh god, yeah, that dude. We're out where I am.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
The old tongue and flag is still flutter and strongly
in my neighborhood. Well on the right, they have amazing supporters.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
You can't you can't fault them in a bloody great
team as well. It's one of those things, two keys.
It's just a bit of pillow. It's such a bit
a pillow. But I will say this as well, but
just because it's so interesting. The final was Australia v.
Tongua this weekend, which will be a bloody ripper. New
Zealand has to play Papa and New Guinea who are
in the division below and if we are beaten by PNG,
(22:28):
they will come up to the top tier and we
would go down.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Wow, how about that?
Speaker 6 (22:32):
Which means was it you saying that that someone was
saying that if that happens we all of our set
of origin players.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
That's right, it would be eligible. Oh god, I think
that was a nice stuard on the agenda post there. Yeah. Yeah,
so it's good stuff, Ja, It's a good point, well
made brother.
Speaker 4 (22:48):
Thanks man. But you know, in terms of new Guinea.
That's not going to happen, is it. We're pretty close
to Australia and Tom and we were robbed in that
last game.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
So you know, do you reckon when they're over there?
Are they playing here or over there? Oh that's a
good question.
Speaker 6 (23:06):
I have actually looked into it. But if they are
over there, you cannot bring back any paper new guinea pigs.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
They might they're worth a bloody I'll be smuggling them
in any hole or crevice I could find, I tell
you what, because you guys are breeding them for a while. Yeah,
long while? Yeah, really I thought there was just you
doing annoying stuff. I don't do that.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
There has there been a rage as a machine The
Whodikey Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
And Kissy don't forget.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
By the way, you can text us anytime on three
four eight three, ask us the time, the weather, whatever
you need to know. We're here to provide a service
for you. That's right, Okay, Now listen, fellas, I'd like
to make an apology another one.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Sure, it's not unusual to be but everyone, Yeah, it's
a great It's not unusual.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
To be loved, but anyone.
Speaker 3 (24:08):
But when I see you walking around anyone, it's not
unusual to see me crying.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
It's not unusual when Hoodie Jay is out and about
that people recognize me.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
There we go, Here we go, There we go.
Speaker 4 (24:32):
I often have people saying good ay, or shaking my hand,
or saying they love this, or that.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
They love this or that specifics. It's so many different things.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
They say good and then they go, you know, oh
I love it when you did that, blah blah blah.
I'm generally speaking, got no idea what they don't.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
So many amazing things exactly magie. It's like, that's what
I say. Man, How am I supposed to remember that?
Made love your limon? Shit?
Speaker 5 (24:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Wow, Actually I'll wear that to my roight. So I
watched that today. But I did something today which I
never do. And it was in a petrol station on
my way home today. And I was by myself a
iced coffee Nippy's because I just had an urge and
I was in the petrol station and a fella he
recognized me and he shouted out. And this is the
(25:22):
other weird thing with people when they talk to me,
they shout at me yes, and often from behind.
Speaker 6 (25:27):
Right, and by way, keep that happening because jays can't
hear probably, so make sure you're always shuit.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
One day, it's going to give me a heart attack,
I swear to God. But anyway, this guy saw me
and went, hoidy, Jay is short ass.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
And before I eat a minute, j is short ass. Yes, right, nice.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Now, before I even had a kind of conscious thought
about it.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
I immediately said off.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
And this guy is sort of recoiled back a little bit,
and it was like, I don't know what was going on.
I wasn't really thinking about my response. I think I
was thinking about my shot on the thirteenth, Hold a day.
To be honest, I was filthy about that. But I
just want to say I'm not in the practice of
doing that with people, right, And then I did it
and I went in the car and I felt bad
about it. So to that punter who's listening out there,
(26:26):
I apologize.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
I don't mean sorry. You always just say I apologize.
You never say sorry.
Speaker 4 (26:32):
I apologize.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
You're not sorry. You know you're making an apology, yes, yeah,
which is different to being sorry.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
I apologize for that remark. It was unnecessary.
Speaker 6 (26:43):
It's like me being like, oh, I'm going to say
I'm going to greet this guy, say hello, I say
I greet you.
Speaker 4 (26:49):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Can I just ask you, Jos, can you replace the
F word with bagger so bagger off and just give
me the way in which you delivered it.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
This is key, because this is why I don't feel
too bad about it. Okay, I delivered it like this,
Hoidy j is short ass bugger off.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Yeah, you can't do that, man, it's horrible.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
Was that terrible?
Speaker 3 (27:13):
I thought the tone wasn't too I loved to hear
you say if off and that kind of tone.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah, bugger off.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
He probably chalked that up as a great experience, do
you think. Yeah, well, I mean, if he is.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Listening out there is I say. I just want to
apologize with that. It's just not my style.
Speaker 3 (27:27):
Actually had a text message from him. He said he's
never gonna listen to the show again. He says, you're
a short us.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
Yeah, bugger off.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarkey.
Speaker 4 (27:39):
Pil Jam there. Incidentally, pearl Jam is going to be
our Robert theme tomorrow. Feel yeh it is.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Now we go with pil Jam songs or we going
with pil jam as a theme.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
Pel Jam is a theme? Actually giving me a few ideas?
Speaker 3 (27:51):
None, because then it just becausetarts getting a bit tenuous,
doesn't it.
Speaker 6 (27:55):
Peel jam theme, Well, just when we can just do
three pil jam songs is of course that are playing mounts.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
It's mount smart, isn't it?
Speaker 4 (28:02):
Tomorrow we may very well do that because he probably will, because.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
To be honest, it's pretty hard to find a song
pil jam theme that isn't pill jam.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Well, it seems like you've got a few ideas. It
was your idea to go with this fame idea. You
know me, I'm wacky. You are a waky son of
a bee.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
I'll give you that.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
But hey, that's you know, that's five o'clock tomorrow. Don't
don't miss out.
Speaker 5 (28:24):
Jase.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
We established earlier in the Mike Jase. We established earlier
in the.
Speaker 6 (28:29):
Show that you and I are mates. Sure remember when
we did the anger therapy stuff. Yeah, and every now
and then you need to call in a favor on
your mates.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Oh you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (28:39):
Yeah, do you guys do that? I'm not doing a
three someome Keezy I've already told you that, man.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
So how do you add to his missus already and
she's out, so she just forget it? Okay, stop banging
on about it too, Okay.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
You gotta let that go, man, Okay.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
And that's the same goes for me as well. I'm out.
I wasn't going Okay.
Speaker 6 (28:59):
Good to know, though, I mean, I wasn't going to
I'm still in there. You're yeah, Urine, Hey, okay, so
that's there might be.
Speaker 3 (29:11):
Should we just end it?
Speaker 5 (29:11):
There?
Speaker 4 (29:15):
Can't be that. It's funny, that's great. Yeah, it's good.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
Let's go to the break.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
You're the Hdcky Big Shows, the Hurdarchy Big Show with
Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kissy.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
And Bloody on it. Here we've got Dave the Butterbean
Ladelli from BBM Motivation and a whole bunch of other
things as well. Former professional boxer, probably the heaviest guy
on the circuit if I can remember that correctly. Couldn't
fit into your plane seats. All sorts of strife there,
but you threw a few punches and since there really
(29:47):
become a community advocate. You've got the Butterbean motivation thing.
Happening out there in South Orkland. How many of those
got going around because they're like a gym right for
people whose wad has got away on them.
Speaker 5 (29:58):
Yes, it's I mean, it's a it's a a community
space for everyone. So we've got one on Monuco one,
a new len and one and took it all right,
So it's all types of classes. And then we run
our health programs and therefore from the couch mums and bubs,
So from the couch is our only funded health program. Yeah,
we had people with multiple long term health conditions, obasically
(30:18):
just being one of them, but we wrap around the
clinical support, so we have doctors, nurses and the social
support because that's how you fix these problems.
Speaker 3 (30:27):
But bro, these are people that aren't you know, they're
not losing six kilos because they want to get to
R and V. These are people that weigh two hundred,
two hundred and fifty three hundred kilos. They're absolutely massive,
can't move and all. And you know, if you go
along to your Instagram page and see the work that
these guys are putting in, the motivation, the inspiration that
they're giving each other, it's transformational.
Speaker 5 (30:48):
Yeah, you know, you've got people that you know, hence
the name from the couch. We're trying to get people
off the couch. Started by me going to people's homes
just to help people where they were, you know, on
their couch or in their bed, and you know, we
understand their education around nutrition is a big part of it,
and getting them around others that are all on that
same journey. So the connection piece to community and being
(31:10):
led by people who have all been through it, you know,
so you know it's one of our leaders is you know,
he's lost I think about one hundred and forty kilos. Wow,
Sean Fitzpatrick's nephew. Actually I met Sean, and who's broke down,
you know because because you're literally you're watching one of
your family members die slowly in front of you. You know,
he couldn't stand five minutes. Now he's one. He works
(31:30):
for us full time. So it's the weight loss is
the wow thing. But it's the life that's gained that's
the that's really the transformation. You know, people that can't
drive that are now because they kind of fit. Brine's
doing well now driving.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
Yeah, Well the thing is Dave, and it doesn't matter
what you're struggling with. It can be your weight, it
can be your mental health, it can be all sorts
of stuff going on, and you can get locked into that,
can't you. And sometimes, you know, I say, if it
is your way, it's very hard to break out of
that sort of system. So you do need people to
come in and support you and help you to do it,
and more importantly, to show you that it actually can
(32:04):
be done.
Speaker 5 (32:04):
Yeah, it's possible, and when we say it, they believe
it because we've all done it.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
So but it's also not possible to do It's really
it's even more difficult. Like it's all well and good
if you're financially stable, but what happens if you don't
have that financial stability to be able to spend time
to lose that waiters, it's almost impossible.
Speaker 5 (32:23):
You know. One of the reasons when we started our
community kitchen where we run all our education classes is
you know, our mother reached out to me at one
in the morning, just finished work. Can you please help
my son, who's fifteen weighs two hundred and thirty kilos.
I said, of course, I can help. Come and see me.
Come see me in the morning and said no, I can't.
I've got work again. So you know, you're living in
(32:44):
deprived areas and you're working sometimes multiple jobs, taking any
shift you can, just to keep the life on the
food on the table. There's no time. You know, you're
poor and time poor. Yes, so you're getting what's readily
accessible and cheap and always crap, yes, you know, and
that's that's the cycle we've got to break. So we
started this program. We educated the son, he lost dirty
(33:06):
kilos and they moved off to Australia. But that's how
you break cycles. Yes, it's got to be the whole family,
you know. And this program, I mean it's being evaluated
by Massi University. They couldn't believe the like, yes we
because we measure everything all the or the medical or
you know, blood sugar, blood pressure, heart everything, but they
couldn't believe how much happier people were, and well, of
course they are, they're connected.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
Yeah, yeah, you know what.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
You know, it's a really interesting point to in terms
of poverty and struggling financially. You know, you go into
your local dairy and you can buy a massive thing
of coke for like four bucks, and like the smaller
options of that are more expensive, and then it's crazy
so people go, Okay, well I've only got this much money,
so I'll buy the big one of those instead of
you know, the smaller ones, you know, with all of
(33:51):
that sort of stuff.
Speaker 5 (33:52):
And you know, these these are facts that this is
what's you know, everything bad for us is right en
our fingertips in deprived areas. Yes, everything, every single thing
is right there for you. You know, how can it?
And I keep pushing this every time it comes time
to buy uniforms. How can it be more more expensive
to buy your kidd a blazer or a school top
(34:13):
than it is to go and buy alcohol and crab food? Yes,
how can it be more expensive to buy your kidding uniform?
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Now, Dave, I understand that there's been a bit of drama.
I'll tell you what we'll do, mate. We'll go to
the Beastie.
Speaker 6 (34:24):
Boys, keys in, sures feelers, and then we'll come back
and chat for the hood.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
I King Being Shown podcast.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
Had a very special guest in the studio with David Babin,
La Telly and now, Dave, I understand there's been a
bit of drama for you guys in terms of your freezers.
Speaker 4 (34:41):
Etcetera. Tell us about that, mate, what happened?
Speaker 5 (34:44):
Yeah, it was actually it was a real kick in
the guts. And you know, on Tuesday, one of our team, James,
who I told you about earlier, he called Vanessa and said,
you know, I could tell on Vanessa's face that something
had happened. And when she told me, my heart just
saying it.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Can I just get you to set up because outside
of the motivation stuff you and in the exercise sort
of based stuff, you also run a food bank. Can
you tell us about how that serves the community and
how that's been going over the sort of last month
or so, because you've had news around that as well.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
Yeah, we started the food the food share I call it,
out of COVID. We saw a lot of people falling
through the cracks they couldn't access support. So we did it.
You know, we started, but it's been tough. I've kept
the same spreadsheets since we started it properly and out
of our gym twenty eight the eighth, twenty twenty one,
and that first week we spent thirty two grand Wow.
(35:35):
And it's and a lot of it is self funded
and donations and it's look as I don't know how
we've kept it going so long, but this year and particularly,
it's just so hard to keep it going. And actually
I think it maybe a month or so ago announced
that we'll be we'll be phasing that out after Christmas,
you know.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
And it's not because there's not a need. It's just
because it's it's so hard to find the money.
Speaker 5 (35:58):
To do what. The need is ever growing. And it's
a lot of times people just exhaust the same old
poor people. But it's not it's middle class, it's working class.
The people that there's no times are tough.
Speaker 6 (36:10):
Yeah, man, So the reason it's stopping is this also
the thing that's causing more and more people to require
it as well, because the cost of everything has gone
up massively.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
Yeah. Well, you know, I mean this is not even political,
it's this is all governments. Yeah, all governments need to
understand we either need to do this properly ourselves or
look after the groups that are doing it properly. How
can it be left up to groups like us to
get a little bit from them? So we got eighty
seven five hundred from the government for this year, but
(36:38):
that's a massive gap that works. And yeah, and how
why is it left up to us to do it?
Speaker 4 (36:45):
Sure?
Speaker 5 (36:45):
And then and so you know, it's just so hard.
And I'm telling you that there is an avalanche of
need coming and the more cuts, I mean, we're set
in the media, we'll see all around the country there
are cuts happening everywhere. And where those people are going
to go. You know, you've got the city Mission. I
talked to the to the boss there, and they've only
got funding tool Christmas. So after they're gonna have to like,
(37:07):
they're gonna have to cut thousands of people.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Yeah, and I've been past a lot of people.
Speaker 5 (37:11):
And where are they going to go? Yeah, I tell
you where They're going to go? Through people's windows, into
people's cars, selling drugs, whatever it takes to put food
on the table.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (37:19):
And so you you've set up this food bank, which,
as you say, was going to run through to Christmas.
And I did get I didn't realize. I think it vandalized.
Speaker 3 (37:27):
Is that what happened?
Speaker 5 (37:28):
Yeah, So someone had come and pulled the pulled the
power out of our freezer. We had a big twenty
foot free I actually kept it at a church thinking
it would be safe. And you couldn't even see it.
From the road and smashed up our forklift and it look,
we've been trying to build our stock levels for Christmas,
so we had a lot of a lot of mints
in there and you know, and mins you can do
(37:49):
so much with you know, as well as other items
that we had in then. And it just broke my heart.
I just couldn't believe it. I actually I messaged a
video message to our group, our work chating, I said,
we're done, so I can know I can't do this.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah, and I left work.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
I had to go for a workouts to get out
and clear my mind.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
Well, once you cleared your mind, you've set up a
give a little page which you can find if you
just chuck in BBM Motivation, Urgent help needed, give a
little into Google.
Speaker 3 (38:20):
It'll come straight up. You guys are aiming for how much.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
As much as we can as much as we can
get brilliant this is the thing.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Or you can go to your Instagram page Dave Lttelly
and it's and it's in your in your link and
bios there as well. I had a look at this
yesterday because I obviously follow you on Instagram. I think
the first night you made about five grand When I
messaged you last night, I think it was about forty
and today it's at one hundred and ten.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Awesome.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
And the response and this is all response from community.
So this is a class sort of a classic example.
And you say it's not political, but it is political
because you know, politicians have got the ability to actually
make a difference and put some real money into this
and sort of change the course of the lot. You know,
they'll be the first one to complain if there's crime.
But if it was me and I had to put
food on the table for my family and I had
(39:06):
no way other way to do it, I'm committing crime
as well. So that the service that you provide in
the community is critical for the community overall. It's not
just for the people and need, it's for everybody else
as well that can be damaged by those ongoing needs.
Speaker 5 (39:20):
And I just don't understand why they don't get it.
And with us, what we do is we wrap around
the family, so we help them to get into work,
we put them into courses, you know, so that we
can break these cycles. So you know, so we can
give people a hand up. But first, you know, we've
got to address the initial need yea. You know people
that they talk about choice and all these things and say,
well talent, like if you look at your children and
(39:41):
they're starving, Yeah, you don't have good friends and family
that can help. There's no other groups that can help
because they're all closed.
Speaker 3 (39:47):
Yeap, what are you going to do? You got one choice,
do anything you can. So just with this, I just
want to say, you know what you do, man is
absolutely out the gate. It's it's selfless and it gives
you know, it gives people like me the hurry up
to do more and so you know, you consider around
and wait for the government to do something about it.
They won't. In the meantime, if you're out there and
(40:08):
you're listening to this and you can help, and you
can give a dollar, you can give two dollars, no
matter what it is, it all ends up. As we're saying,
get into one hundred and ten k.
Speaker 5 (40:16):
Here and there was a guy on there, give a little,
he commented, he posted he said a dollar fifty and
he said this is the last dollar fifth I have. Wow,
And I'm just I just want to say thank you
to everyone that has supported because it's really heartwarming how

Speaker 3 (41:28):
Keys you, I mean, have you just turned it into
a podcast.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
Well, no, we've done that for a while while.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
Yeah, Now, there were certain things that were said on
the podcast, interestingly, that have been banned from being published
in the radio show, particularly some stuff that Mogi said
that's right, that he wanted to make sure doesn't go
on the radio.
Speaker 3 (41:50):
If you want to hear.
Speaker 6 (41:52):
Seven thirty tonight, you have to listen to the podcast
outro Sitch. You get them from this clip though. It
is called horny and I think I know what it's about.
Speaker 4 (42:01):
What sort of horny thoughts you have?
Speaker 3 (42:03):
Keezy telling you?
Speaker 5 (42:04):
How come?
Speaker 6 (42:05):
Man?
Speaker 3 (42:05):
This one's about buzzies and that pretty busy focused happy.
Speaker 5 (42:13):
You happy?
Speaker 3 (42:14):
Now?
Speaker 4 (42:15):
It's just so Fellows.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
Jason.
Speaker 4 (42:21):
It's interesting.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
It would laugh something about that.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
There is something about that old Keezy and as you know,
a sexual fantasy.
Speaker 4 (42:31):
I found it about sort of I don't know, off
potting almost.
Speaker 3 (42:35):
It's one of those things where certainly, what would you say,
sort of very nervous energy came into the room were
you and I don't know where to look. Yes, the
way to dissipate that odd, strange sexual energy was.
Speaker 2 (42:49):
To laugh exactly, especially when he puts hand in his
pocket after he said.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
It, and I was like suggesting that I had to
go at myself.
Speaker 4 (43:00):
I was just saying that maybe you had a bit
of a prod.
Speaker 5 (43:03):
But I mean I I.
Speaker 4 (43:08):
Just found it intriguing to find out about your sexual thoughts.
Speaker 6 (43:11):
What happened Jason's you said, you asked me a direct question,
and then I, as a joke, said buzzies and that
and then now and then.
Speaker 3 (43:19):
Ha, let's just clarify you. You don't find I do,
but you said it as a joke, all right.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
The whole actual Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
tune in week days and four on Radio hod Ike.
Speaker 6 (43:36):
Hoody J favor favor to ask? We're mates, right, sure,
we're friends and friends. Sometimes, as I tried to do
in the last hour, sometimes you need to ask your
mates for a favor.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
You guys have done that, probably not, man, I tried
to stand on my own two feet as a man.
Speaker 5 (43:53):
You know.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
Actually, seriously, Mogie, I was about to say the same thing.
I prefer to take responsibility for whatever it is myself.
I don't like to take advantage of my mate, take
advantage of anyone.
Speaker 6 (44:05):
Just sometimes you need a favor. And in this situation,
and only Hoidy J cana hit mekey, you remember your
what was that TV show you're in when you played
the guy with the drids with the dreads? Im sorry,
the one we had to hear here tied up and
you're like a counselor.
Speaker 4 (44:22):
Mister Gorby seven periods.
Speaker 6 (44:26):
Yes, mister Gormsby, he's Dave McPhail. Yes, he is an
icon of New Zealand comedy. He is pat passed away now. Unfortunately, however,
his son Matt Yes produces Game of Two Halves. Yes,
and he has mentioned several times that he would love
to work with Hoidy j again, Right, sure, but Jace
(44:46):
keeps turning him down to come on the show. Yes,
And he said, Kezy, could you ask Jas to please
come on the season finale? Right and specifically, you know,
because he's worked with you before. Yes, And he was like,
I want to work And then so I said I'll
ask him. I thought, I'll ask him on the radio, sure,
so that people can listen, because you'll get paid.
Speaker 3 (45:04):
Yes, and it's fun. You'll be on my team.
Speaker 4 (45:07):
Yeah, what do you think?
Speaker 1 (45:09):
No?
Speaker 3 (45:09):
Yeah, he's been quite clear about this casey. I mean
I've heard him say no to you on multiple occasions.
I know, shown zero interest it hasn't been a matter
of conflicts or you know, there's diary issues. He's got
nothing else going on. He specifically does not want to
work with you outside of the radio or met mcfail, right,
(45:30):
specific met mc fail. Yeah right. It just seems.
Speaker 4 (45:34):
Here's the thing. If I was captain of the ship.
Speaker 3 (45:39):
Well, hang on, I'm captain.
Speaker 6 (45:41):
Well so I see, okay, so it's I don't want
to be you know too, I see the old kezy
because I was like, yeah, if it'd be funny, because
I'll be captain and j C will love it will
be a team.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Yeah, yeah, do you want to be captain?
Speaker 4 (45:54):
Yeah, well I'm not not.
Speaker 3 (45:55):
Being captain right on the opposition team. Who's the other captain? Mania,
he's not going to go.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
I'll be on his team.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
Well, hang on as captain or just as a contestant.
Speaker 4 (46:04):
Contestant, Well why just why don't you just come on, Mike.
It just doesn't feel right, Keys, Yeah, it'll be a
little bit out of whack. Yeah, it just feels like
my captain, my captain, you know what I mean? And
I don't know what the old keys he's there.
Speaker 3 (46:21):
It sort of feels like as well that Jace you'd
be the first one to go up for charades totally.
I would you be up there absolutely making a tool
of yourself. You don't have to you can do. I
mean it's actually quite funny now that I think about it. Mike,
that's a great idea. So you're out, Yes, you're out?
Speaker 4 (46:39):
Okay, Yeah, what about Mowgi?
Speaker 3 (46:42):
Mike? Hey, man, are you keen to.
Speaker 5 (46:47):
Look? Man?
Speaker 6 (46:48):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (46:50):
I am going to say no, but only because you
asked Jase first. I mean I would have been keen airs.
I mean, I know that they don't want me on
the show, but it means the world to me that
you've asked. Yeah, okay, okay, So that me say no
to you now saves you coming back to me later
saying that actually you can't be on the show because
I don't want you on there. Okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (47:11):
Hey Pugs of the Hodiking Bing Shown podcast.
Speaker 4 (47:16):
Let's talk TV? What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
Yes Day, Stage Day.
Speaker 3 (47:41):
Last night I watched something a little bit different and
that was the between two bers the episode an interview
with Matthew Ridge. Sure, and I watched that on YouTube
there actually they it's it's not something I often do
is watch podcasts, watch podcasts. I don't often do it. No,
I listened to podcasts. But it was bloody good. Actually
record it, Frank podcast Kesey. Will you do your Extremely
(48:03):
Casual Gamers. You're amazing podcasts as you do. Everybody jump
on board that. God, that studios is amazing if you
want to rent it.
Speaker 4 (48:10):
What's it called Extremely Casual Gamers?
Speaker 3 (48:13):
Gamers?
Speaker 4 (48:14):
Oh gamers?
Speaker 6 (48:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (48:15):
Yeah, yeah, But anyway, it was bloody good. Matthew Ridge
fascinating dude, very open and I really liked them.
Speaker 4 (48:23):
I really liked them.
Speaker 3 (48:24):
Very God. He's talking about some he's talking about some
very personal things. Sure, no issues what so we were
talking about his meth addiction and how he wasn't really
addicted to the high, but he loved that it activated
his sex side of his brain, so he got a
lot of rootin in for a couple of years.
Speaker 4 (48:40):
Well that's Frank, isn't it it is?
Speaker 3 (48:41):
It's good on him. Yeah, bloody good and yeah, great
podcast obviously, as is Extremely Casual Gamers. Can I say keasy,
thank you?
Speaker 2 (48:48):
That's one of my favorite that podcast? What one extremely
casual Gamers? I mean, if you're into your gaming, you
got to listen to that.
Speaker 6 (48:57):
I just have very taken aback about just a nice
you and plug of something I'm doing.
Speaker 4 (49:01):
It's so good, Kezy, and now it's gone too far.
I watched I carried.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
On watching Mister in Between the Great and on Disney
on Disney, Yes, and I watched the final episode of
the second series. And it's been a very long time, Mogi,
a very very long time, Kezy, since I have been
so emotionally moved by something. And I won't go into
(49:30):
the details of what this particular scene was about, because
I think it's important that people go and watch the.
Speaker 4 (49:35):
Series because it's genius.
Speaker 5 (49:36):
It is.
Speaker 4 (49:37):
It is utter genius.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
The comedy, the drama is just first rate, understated beautiful.
If you love your Australian comedy too, it's quite essential
Australian comedy. But this particular scene last night, in the
last episode of the second series, gut punched me.
Speaker 4 (49:53):
My wife was in tears on the couch.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
She called me in tears actually.
Speaker 2 (49:57):
And actually I was so profoundly moved, as was my wife.
And it took me about half an hour of cover
from it. And then we ended up watching something else
really heavy after that, and we were we just can't
do any more heavy stuff.
Speaker 4 (50:08):
Yeah, because we.
Speaker 2 (50:09):
Were both just so affected by this particular scene. I
gave mister in Between four and a half buzzies. Yes,
I'm giving it five and a half buzzies out of
five out of five. It is sensation, It really is.
It is a brilliant, brilliant series and if you can
watch it, highly recommended by Margie, and the.
Speaker 3 (50:31):
Writing behind it is unbelievable and that and the guy
that wrote it is also the lead actor in it,
and he is. He is unbelieved. He is next level,
he really is. He is dressed like every single scene.
It's the thing about Liz Jays as an actor, right,
You've been doing it for so long. If you could
do something like that and that was all you could
ever do in your career and you never did anything
(50:53):
else at all, Yeah, you would die a happy man,
happy Larry because it is just it is just that good.
Speaker 2 (51:00):
And it's massively understated too. It's just just has this
way about him. Yeah, good mate, Hey, game mate, Yeah,
good mate.
Speaker 4 (51:08):
You got to watch it.
Speaker 3 (51:09):
Ys.
Speaker 4 (51:09):
I don't think your wife will like it. You should
watch it.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
I'll watch it eventually, maybe when I go overseas on
the plane. Well, you should give your you should give
your wife a chance with its extremely terroors metic and
magnetic character as well as performers. And there's some stuff
in it that she might not take too. But I
mean the problem is.
Speaker 4 (51:31):
He's what she loves.
Speaker 6 (51:33):
Yes, I didn't watch anything last night, but tonight I'll
