Hi, thanks for listening to a Breakfast Bonus podcast. You
may have heard the news about Joe Exotic and if
you think this, that name sounds somebody. Why do I
know the name Joe Exotic, Tiger King?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
How many years ago was it that that was out?

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Since war?

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Was it during Longdown? No longer?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Was it? Yeah? But that's the thing. You forget his name,
but you remember Tiger King. That was that documentary that
blew everyone's mind because the more you watched it, the
more bat pop crazy it got.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
It was about a guy that owned a whole lot
of tigers in a zoo and he had this big
feud with a woman called Carol Baskin who lived next
door in the next zoo.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Who apparently had killed her husband because he vanished, but
he's never turned up.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
All these detectors were investigat as well. And this is
the thing with Tiger King. It's spun off all kinds
of furies and all kinds of different people got involved. Well, anyway,
the star of the show, Joe Exotic, who in prison, Yeah,
he went to prison.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
But conspiring to kill Carol baskin, that's right.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
And also mistreating a few of the tigers is where
they found They found tiger skulls buried with bullet holes
in them, so he is job for that too.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
We don't know whether that was putting them out of
their misery though, do we We don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
But the way he shouldn't have been shooting tigers.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
And how is it legal that you can just be
in charge of tigers and the USA.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Even hit tiger. It's just so missed up.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Would I wouldn't go with it? Tiger? Got a monkey?
Quite aggressive?

Speaker 4 (01:16):
Yeah, and they're a bit riddled, but like if you
get a clean one, and then I would quite like him.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
You're just thinking of Aladdin. They're not all like a boo.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
No, no, no, I think I'm thinking more Michael Jackson, Yeah, bubbles, Bubble.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Wouldn't go with a python because that's what he seems
to be the bit of choice for a lot of Americans.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Or in a rangeting? How cool your guard dog in ringing?

Speaker 3 (01:37):
It's going to kill you?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Jason Face a snake, Well there's that to you know.
Even tigers never a tiger. Mike Tyson's got a tiger.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
A tiger it's so weird, Like, what what stage do
you have to get to where you've got a big
world creature in your lounge.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Well, this is the thing. So Tiger Tiger King is
now in jail. He's got a wild creature in his
jail cell every night, and he has now engaged in prison.
So he lifted one of his other husband. He's been
married about three or four times.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
He's sixty four.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah, and how old does new fiance thirty three? Thirty three?

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Your old little little Mexican chap apparently.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
So, so here's the thing. So he's now engaged in jail.
He's serving a twenty one year sentence, and they're engaged
in jail and then mainly love as you'd hope and
every moment together. That's what it said. That was a quote.
I'm like, well, what else are you doing in jail?
I don't understand you mentioned the thing about being in jail, Tony,
But they've announced this on social media. How do you

get access to social media when you're in jail?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
The tiny but they've got they've got a photo and
I guess you're allowed to get married in jail, right,
that must be part of your constitutional rats didn't know
that was a thing. I thought it was a punishment
to be as wishing a program fiance has been punished,
who knows.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I was watching a video the other day on conjugal
what was It was a program a drama, and they
were it was about prisons and they had conjugal visits,
and I was thinking, that's interesting, isn't it, know? Like
are you locked up in prison and then you just
get to will your lover in? Yes, and there's a
weird room that you get just shake them in.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
People get pregnant in jail, don't they? Somehow all women's
prisons tell me about that.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Okay, so was that actually a thing though? Like, is
that something that hapens New Zealand conjugal?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
VI believe it you can get conjugal.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
Because I don't like the way you're saying it.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
Well, ju, I'm just saying I'm thinking, I mean this,
if you know, if you're how often are you allowed
to have a partner?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
And I don't know, I guess it depends on your
behavior in jail.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Maybe if you're thinking this might be a way of
getting more out of my wife, you know, having conjugal.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Visits and conjugal visits that you are you have to
move to the state.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Don't worry about my congratulations, Jo, we have a good
love story. I'm sure this will be a beautiful one.
