how terrible the wind is going to be for the
school holidays and we are unhappy about that.

Speaker 7 (00:28):
Also, a mum has invited everyone but one child in
an orders class to the birthday party.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
But that child deserves a spank on the bottom. Jayson though. Anyway,
you have your thoughts on this too. You have a listen.
Speaker 7 (00:39):
Ever, listen, it's the last Friday of September and here
we go. October is just days away from now. So
if you're having that cup of coffee right now, we're
with you, because we're about to drink a coffee that
you've been wanting to try for a while.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
I say, am yeah, it's always fascinated me.
Speaker 6 (00:54):
Basically, a little little mammal comes in and eats the
cherries of the coffee plant, and then they go into
the alli and then they ferment, and then they pooped
them out, and then some poor soldier has to come
along and pick up all the poops, and then they
strain off all the poo and they pull out the
coffee bean and then they percolate that into a coffee.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
And here we are.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Do you know what I'm listening to now? I'm listening
to a forty something year old man.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Getting great joy from an animal poll and coffee.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
Yeah, just like you were when you were five years old. Up,
sound like my child.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
You should have heard our spot you said down bananas.
Speaker 5 (01:27):
I did hear it.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
I got some feedback from someone listening to that's just lovely.
They enjoyed it.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Oh that's good. There's some feedback people that didn't enjoy it.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
It was also a forty something You're wrong man.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Okay.
Speaker 7 (01:39):
So my wife bed Evan Balley on this girls trip
and she's brought back the copy Luak to try and
so we've we've brewed up a part of it and
we're about to try it now for the first for
the first time for you.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
A Tony Jace was very unhappy that she paid the
seventy bucks for a small bag. And you're going to
be even more upset when I say I missed my
Macona half murder.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Okay, I'm sorry, I missed my Macona.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Have to man, I've just tried your coffee, and I'm
saying I think my Macona is better.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
I don't know. Now, there's something about this.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
I just think, do you know if i'd want to pay?
Speaker 1 (02:13):
No?
Speaker 3 (02:13):
This is? This is. This is a complex coffee.
Speaker 6 (02:15):
This has got more layers to it than your traditional
macona have more.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
This is we have to have a lot more for
the costs.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Are you saying it tastes like fruit?
Speaker 1 (02:24):
I'm not. I'm not saying that. I don't know if
I understand the height na see, I.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Think I think it's like a wine.
Speaker 6 (02:31):
You know, you don't have a distinguished palette like me,
and you can really you can really taste the different
the layers about samished. I can taste that, the soil acidity,
I can taste the.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
I can taste the proof.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
You we are No, I can definitely smell the p.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
I tell you what, That's what I want with my
coffee in the morning.
Speaker 6 (02:58):
Grab your niece, it's got something about it.
Speaker 7 (03:05):
It's time for Sam's week news, weekly news, weekly news.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
We haven't been here a lot, so we haven't had
a lot of weekly news. It's kind of lavery three week.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
You guys have missed this, least get into it we have.
This week was the week that left us.
Speaker 6 (03:23):
With more questions than answers, such as how many diddles
did Diddy diddle before he was locked up in jail?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
Because Bieber has been warning us for years? Party didn't
know that?
Speaker 4 (03:35):
How go I was in the fun of.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Them because Muscle the scene.
Speaker 6 (03:47):
Working the scene. Wow, yeah, he literally told us what
was going on in the parties all those years ago
with a song. And she had the weirdest thing about
this whole situation is they found a thousand bottles of
baby or at Diddy's home. Now, I've owned one by
of baby with my entire life, and it's still half full.
Speaker 5 (04:04):
I'm not even going to ask any questions about.
Speaker 4 (04:06):
No late us out this morning though.
Speaker 7 (04:07):
So Netflix is going to do a documentary on this
whole did he situation? Do you know who has team
deal with Netflix to make it fifty cent? Who can't
stand did it? And he is now the executive producer.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Seeing you gold digger.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
The club.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
You were taking the role of looking stupid this.
Speaker 6 (04:26):
Morning, something else, providing more questions than answers.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
When the judge said, on.
Speaker 6 (04:36):
Charge the charge of murder, do you find a defendant,
Philip John Polkinhorn guilty or not guilty?
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Not real?
Speaker 6 (04:43):
Yes, retired surgeon is said to have purchased a lot
of ticket and bought a white Bronco to celebrate the
judge's decision, allegedly before delivering these words to the press today.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
To outcome is a huge turning point in our lives.
This process has taken a massive toll on so many
of us. Yes, it must have been hard on you, Spokenhorn.
Speaker 6 (05:02):
Moving on Wellington Mayre has has all questioning how much
we're all spinning on bills. I've just sold my car
recently to help pay the bills, and I walked to
work again.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
My mortgage rates.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Have doubled in the last few years, so I'm feeling
the crunch as well.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
B S. That is b S. Tori Faro is on
one hundred and eighty seven hundred and ninety nine dollars
a year, shouldn't have children.
Speaker 7 (05:28):
She's got a dog, hold on, Heather on zb what
kind of dog is it?
Speaker 4 (05:33):
She'll be a very expensive dog.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
And also Torri Fano said she she had the issue
and then she said no, I didn't actually sell my car,
and then she goes, oh, no, I did sell my
car like it was.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
There were about three versions of the events.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
One hundred and eighty nine thousand dollars hell of a salary.
But I guess that Wellington night life is very tempting.
David questioning who was the guilty party, the truant kids,
their parents who now face prosecution, or the teachers.
Speaker 8 (06:00):
Seymour has also announced another rule which won't go down
well with schools. There will be no more teachers only
days during school time in the term.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Who would like to bring.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
It up from here?
Speaker 1 (06:13):
I can pick it up from here because the new
principle of our primary school was in the headlines last
night saying this is a kick in the guarts. What
a way to say, I'm the new principal, just straight
into the heralds.
Speaker 6 (06:24):
It's a kick in the guts that they can't have
a teacher's only day before a long weekend.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Look, I don't want to say too much.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
My kids go to school and do professional development. Sure
your kid's only a new one.
Speaker 7 (06:36):
Just wait, it's pretty hard, so very much say I think.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
And if you're a teacher, there's the broadcasting stands authority.
I would write about him. Evolvez you.
Speaker 7 (06:48):
Today, the twenty seventh, the September, is International Day of Forgiveness.
They reckon that forgiving is good for you, and I agree.
It relieve stress, it helps you heal, not live in
the past. So today, on Forgiveness Day, maybe give that
a bit of a trial.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Which is interesting because we are about to forgive Sam
for all his sins, you know.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
On today of all days.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yes, I think there's the thing about it.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
It's also nice to hold a grudge sometimes it's really.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Years later.
Speaker 7 (07:17):
Actually interesting that this is happening on World Day of
Forgiveness because there's a mum is making headlines this morning
because she's invited all but one child in her daughter's
class to her daughter's birthday.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Which originally you hear that, you're like that it's just
it's cruel.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
That's think behavior. But the reason she's not inviting this
girl to her eight year old daughter's birthday party because
that girl has been bullying her daughter.
Speaker 4 (07:44):
So now where are we at?
Speaker 5 (07:46):
So many things to consider here.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
First of all, because I have her, well, she's just
too nine, so I'm in this phase. First of all,
why is she inviting the whole class to the party,
like I just prove a point, because you think about it,
these thirty usually thirty something kids in it, and so
that causes you problems from the outset. Secondly, she shouldn't
have to invite the girl that bullied her daughter. Absolutely not,
(08:08):
I agree, but don't make her just the only one
that doesn't.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
Isn't that the point though, Isn't that's why she's done.
She's going everyone's coming. You're going to be ostracized because
that's what you're doing to my daughter.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
And I don't want to stick up for the bully
here because I despise it.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
But she is also eight and so someone I don't
want to cast as visions, but someone at homes probably
not telling her that she's being a bully and pulling
her into line. So someone needs to pull her into line,
and no one is.
Speaker 6 (08:33):
There's two ways to treat the bully in the situation.
The first is to treat them with kindness and say
come along to my party. And you know, be included,
and will you kill her with kindness? That's the first way.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
The other test don't and.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
You should have to invite a bully when she's not
your mate.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
Yeah, and this is and I think you might start
with that technique and then you go, you know what
you just said, bully, This has gone on too long.
So I'm going to prove a point and I'm going
to bye everyone except you because you're a bully.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
And I get you could get to that point.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
Or you could just invite her like closest eight ten friends,
and then that's the bully is not getting invited, still
getting the message she's coming, but then there's lots of
other people not coming.
Speaker 7 (09:07):
I sort of agree with that to do.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
I don't think you're using your child's birthday party to
make you are the day forget about the bully.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
That's exactly what you're doing.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
Do you know what this is?
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I love this topic because I have lived out this
topic of who to invite and who do not exclude.
It's really hard when you're in a sports team. Let's
say you've got eight kids and a nipple team and
six of them are really close friends.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Well, I don't want to not invite the other two either.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
They're not bullies though, they're just not part of the close.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Now that what I'm saying is do you invite people
just so that they're not feeling left out?
Speaker 5 (09:39):
Because that can really extend.
Speaker 7 (09:40):
But that's why and why, this is why the mom's
doing it. She wants a little girl if you're left out,
which is against great.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
Listen, but what what's this kid done? Jason?
Speaker 1 (09:48):
That was if that was a kid that had gone
and smashed your kid's face into the concrete.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
I'm sure you feel different.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
I would absolutely not, but I agree with you.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
That's what she's done.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
By the way, But I don't think you wte the
whole class to make a point. I mean you need
to be the grown up on this.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
Too, right, who's having thirty five kids for a party?
Speaker 4 (10:05):
That's what I mean personally. So I don't know.
Speaker 7 (10:08):
Well, yeah again, where are you on this? Oh eight
hundred double o four coast? Is the mum doing the
right thing? Is she proving the right point? Or is
she trying to prove a point but going the wrong
way about it?
Speaker 4 (10:17):
What are your thoughts?
Speaker 3 (10:17):
I reckon my thoughts? Are I have a nerve?
Speaker 6 (10:19):
Party and they become the target.
Speaker 4 (10:24):
Text to two six nine nine.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
Coasts Feel Good Breakfast catch up podcast with Coasts Tony Street,
Jas Reeves and Sam Wallas.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
This woman's making news at the moment.
Speaker 7 (10:35):
She's a mum and her daughter is about to have
an eighth birthday party. And Tony, you and I have
both been there with our eight year old.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Kids, and so it's tough.
Speaker 7 (10:43):
And you know, and Sam, you've been in the situations,
Well you've had birthday parties. When it comes to the
guest list, that can be a bit of a juggle.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
Yeah, you have to you have to get the right
people on the list, don't you have. This is an
interesting situation because someone's been left out.
Speaker 7 (10:53):
Yeah, So mum is inviting everyone in the kids class
except one child.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
I feel like that was the that was the downfall
straight away. As soon as you try and invite everyone
in the class, you're you're in a danger zone.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
It's a hell of a lot of people to.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Point now, isn't it.
Speaker 7 (11:08):
Yeah, because the one child she's not inviting has been
bullying her daughter.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
So what are you saying, Sam, There's a couple of
kids she didn't even want there. But they're just going
because they're not bullied.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
It's literally provab.
Speaker 7 (11:20):
So what's your thought on this, Jane, Yeah, it's good morning.
Speaker 9 (11:24):
I actually think this could bag fire because I think
the child who's been bully, who's bullying, could actually end
up really resenting the lady's daughter and it could possibly
get worse.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
But I would do I could go that way.
Speaker 9 (11:42):
I would invite the bully and just watch and just
see what's going on and how they can react the
pride the situation, and maybe if the mother comes as
will to bring the child, maybe you have a little
word to the mother.
Speaker 7 (11:57):
You're true, he's communications obviously always the ki supposed Can.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
I just say my experience with children that are the
bullies is the parents usually don't want to know about it,
and that is part of the problem.
Speaker 6 (12:08):
I mean, that is a mature approacho, and give them
the current is getting to the party.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Have a conversation.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
If you're a good parent and you got wind or
saw your child even remotely being a bully, they would
be broad into line.
Speaker 7 (12:20):
Very funny you say that there's a lot of ticks
on two six nine nine are saying the same thing.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
It starts with the parents.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Yeah, it does, of course agree.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
But you know what, I love that caller because it's
actually to model the behavior in front of you and go,
this is what I'm talking about. It's happening right in
front of my eyes on my kid's birthday. Is this
something you can do to remedy that?
Speaker 5 (12:37):
But usually bullies are quite sneaky. They're not going to
do it in front of people.
Speaker 7 (12:40):
Wait for that, but really quickly we want to get
to Rayhu, who's got a view on this too. Ray
But I don't know if i'd invite the bully in
the first place. But I wouldn't invite the whole class
except the bullies either.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
That's the thing. It's easy to be mature.
Speaker 6 (12:50):
It's much easier just to go, you know, screw you,
your ostracized Jace.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
You're inviting the bully and then you're eviling them.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
I wouldn't.
Speaker 7 (12:58):
I would not invite the bully because then you tell
daughter hate, we're inviting that girl's been really meant you.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
We're inviting her to your birthday? What's that going through
to the eight year?
Speaker 3 (13:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:06):
All right, what are your thoughts?
Speaker 10 (13:08):
I'm going to make an assumption that the mom has
already tried everything else, gone.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
To the school.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
True, So in that.
Speaker 10 (13:16):
Case, this is a last.
Speaker 11 (13:17):
Fifty effort and the kids shouldn't come.
Speaker 10 (13:20):
This is a consequence you're going to be, frankly.
Speaker 11 (13:24):
Been this real life.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
Is you get excluded?
Speaker 10 (13:28):
Yeah, I'd rather an eight year old learner at eight
and have time to correct their behavior than assume that
everything's okay. You become an adult and realize I've got
no friends.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Yeah, that's right. It's a real harsh life lesson.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
Then it's quite That's a really good point, I reckon.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
It's quite different because is this bully actually a friend
that's turned into a bully or are they just a
bully that wasn't their friend? Because I think you treat
it differently in those two scenarios.
Speaker 7 (13:57):
I want to tell you what you just split right
down the middle of our coost family have listened, is
fifty to fifty invite the bully, don't invite the bully.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Can we also, and I'm speaking to myself here because
I am a culprit, but can we normalize not having
such big birthday parties with that?
Speaker 3 (14:08):
Yes, I saw you really take strongly taking that start.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
I've been a victim of.
Speaker 6 (14:13):
Its not perfect, made myself number.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
I made myself a victim as well of Ben.
Speaker 7 (14:19):
Cast your mind back to this time last Friday and
we were finding a winner for the.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
Slauna Streets ten thousand dollar ditch. Spend it, please spend
big Apple and be on.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
So last Friday morning, Theresa.
Speaker 7 (14:32):
You get the phone call that's obviously sunking in now
and you want to take your daughter Grace.
Speaker 4 (14:35):
Who's there on the phone with you right now? Grace?
How did you find out Mamad won the trip as
she wants to take you?
Speaker 6 (14:41):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (14:41):
I was such a story. So that day we were
moving out and we had no Wi Fi so and
no data either. So I hop in the car, I
drive with my phone. I'm in my pajamas, the dogs
in the back, and I'm just driving because I can
hear a connection, and then I put over this random can.
Then I hear the Angel of Harlem, not really sure
(15:03):
what's going on. And then I hear pink eighty two
and I'm like, what does that mean? And then I
hear Mom's name and I just scream as it.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Was the number and the color of the ball for
your mum. Years.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
And we were so worried because Teresa had said that
she wanted to take you, Grace, but we also know
that you were a second year medical student and you're
in the middle of exams. Because I know, I know
a second new medical student. He was telling me he
had this exam and this exam and he needed to
be there for it. So can you just confirm are
you actually able to still come on the trip with
all that going on?
Speaker 11 (15:35):
Yes, I have good news. We met with my head
of men and she's she said it's doable. So I'm
definitely going to be coming to New York.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
I'll help you with a few of those papers where
you're over there, no.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
Problem your speciality, sir, Yeah, you do some dissection.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
If we need to, we will.
Speaker 7 (15:56):
So a week on Theresa again, congratulations. Have you started
formulating ability shopping list.
Speaker 12 (16:02):
A little bit? Yeah, I know that it's self indulgent,
but I actually have. When I'm now that Grace has
been officially, you know, allowed to come, we just kind
of like it. All the floodgates open.
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Ten grain to spend and we leave unless just over
two weeks.
Speaker 12 (16:23):
Yeah, I think as soon as October hits, you know, October,
it's just going to be like, ah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
I think so. So Grace, do you have anything? Have
you been to New York one? And what are you
looking forward to as well?
Speaker 11 (16:36):
I've never been, so this is super exciting to go
to America, and I'm just excited to soak it all up.
Like as Mum said, it's like a it's what you
see in the movies and like your favorite TV shows.
So I'm just looking forward to just seeing everything times square.
It's just it's a dream come true, really.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Really is for us.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
We're dealing with a couple of live Why is here.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
In a couple of weeks?
Speaker 7 (17:03):
This is kindst so at the start of daylight saving
it feels like summer is so close you can taste it.
What's the wea they're going to do?
Speaker 13 (17:10):
Though?
Speaker 4 (17:14):
We're the man, Sam, how are we looking?
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Turning to Custard, Well, I'll go through.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
I'm looking at you amazing so far while you were away,
because you've been away, took great week, serious cold snaps
like it was chilly.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
We were knowing we were.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Pulling our boots and coats back out. So is it
going to get cold again?
Speaker 3 (17:32):
Let's go through it.
Speaker 6 (17:33):
So right now we're going in front of the that's
pushing up over the north and as that goes through,
there's a bit of debris over the country. Then it
actually clears. So once this goes through today we look
really good high pressure all the way through into the
first of October.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
So that's next week.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Can I just ask a question, when you see these
debris over the country, I have like sticks and stuff.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
How gusty is are the winds?
Speaker 6 (17:54):
Because I'm looking at I'm looking at global I'm looking
at the GFS, which is a global forecast system, which
is basically I'm looking at rain patterns around lows and highs.
So when I say debris, there's like I'm seeing a

of the school holidays. There's gonna be fine next weekend.
Speaker 6 (19:16):

and it's sticking up from the southwest as well, so
it's quite cold. And my data runs out, So yeah,
showery s my data runs out on.

There, Sam of the show that just was like my
own that's Jody and unhelpful?

from a show in New Zealand and say this is
how it's done in America.
Speaker 4 (27:35):
What do you think.
Speaker 3 (27:37):
It's a parallel universe.
Speaker 6 (27:38):
Even looking into the studio, it's like, you know, Jody
and Benda is Tony Jason Sam in New Zealand.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
You guys are just like us, a little bit bitter.
I think a.
Speaker 6 (27:48):
Lot of people say that New Zealand is one of
the most beautiful countries in the world. I have walked
into Seattle and I saw the beautiful.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
Mountain that took me by surprise. It's okey, by surprise.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
You're talking about Mount Rainier, right, unbelievable. What funny days
They say the mountain is out and that's who they're
talking about.
Speaker 13 (28:03):
Yeah, it's the same top quality content you're doing New Zealand. Yeah,
we should do We should do the same thing. We
should jump on a planet, go crash his radio. You
were thinking what I was thinking. I would have that you.
Speaker 3 (28:15):
Could jump on the fight and end up in New Zealand.
Imagine that.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
I am imagined.
Speaker 13 (28:21):
The moment this program is over, we're gonna set I'm
already packed and we're gonna go.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
We're gonna crash his radio show. I would love you
to do that. Done. It's a long name though.
Speaker 6 (28:30):
It's Tony Jason Sam with Jody and Binda as nice
as you terrible.
Speaker 3 (28:35):

the nice one on the team. Yeah, you don't like
him at all.

hold on hold you won't fit as well.

slot now? Did you tell Jody and Benda you don't
get decide the slots on our show.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
By the way, we've got joke, Tony, can you put it?

Speaker 1 (29:41):
I reckon, I've seen an opportunity to fill a slot
because I like this guy, Sam, he could definitely move side.
