Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hello, welcome to We Need to Talk and the Christmas
Gift Guide. Today we're talking the men in your life.
Maybe it's your husband or your partner, or if you
are a male listening to this, maybe you want to
put this out to someone to purchase for you. Let's
start with the best drink bottle around. It is the
Frank Green. Now. I got this for my co host
jas he loves it. What's really cool is to mix
(00:27):
and mash with the lid and the bottle. Having different
colors is very in and you can actually personalize these
two and get their name written on it. Eighty two
dollars for a standard bottle, but they keep the fluid
keeps cold for a long long time. Go to Frankgreen
dot com for that one. A drone. What male doesn't
love a drone? I love a drone. There are these
(00:48):
palm sized ones out at the moment, lots of different
ones around. The one I've got is the hover air
X one. It's expensive, it's seven four nine from nol Leaming,
but it is so cool so you don't even have
to operate it just follows you, so you can put
it in lots of different modes follow, tracking, hover, and
it just basically films you. Really cool. If you've got
(01:09):
a sort of techy partner who likes to film things
and you don't want to film him, if you get
this drone, he can just film himself. Let's talk clothing.
A Diesel three pack of white T shirts. My husband
never has enough crisp white shirts. They always look a
little bit off white or they've got a mark on them.
You can get three of these fresh teas for one
(01:30):
hundred and forty dollars from Life for Men. Go to
Welcome to Life dot co dot nzz. I can personally
vouch for their quality and products because I know the
owner and I often go there for my husband. They
also have amazing super dry singlets. There getting a good
quality singlet that doesn't stretch and go out of shape.
They're ribbed as well or textured, so it just gives
(01:51):
you a more solid looking singlet than your standard. They're
fifty nine to ninety nine. Let's talk about some tools.
The boys have helped me with a few of these ones.
First of all, my husband, he is in the market
for a cordless paint spray so that you don't have
to painstakingly brush paint everything one hundred and fifty nine
bucks the Wagner Flexio from Bunnings. Sam's suggestion is the
(02:15):
Hedge trimmer from the Still Shop for one hundred and
fifty five dollars. Jason's suggestion is the Ryobi line trimmer
and blow a kit for one hundred and ninety nine dollars.
They know more about the outdoorsy stuff than me, because
I don't do any of that stuff. What I do
know about is the uf security item, and I have
recommended that Sam gets this because he's in the business
(02:35):
for getting a camera at his front door. So UF
spelled eufy. Basically, it looks like a little small black
remote and it sits on your door and it picks
up anyone that moves past your doorway and it pings
to your phone. I use this when people when I'm
away and a package gets dropped at the door, and
(02:56):
you can actually speak to the person delivering and say,
all good, leave it there, I'll be high home in
five minutes, or if your groceries are coming. It comes
up on the security system and you know, oh I
better go before the peas melt, so it's handy for that,
and of course if there's an intruder, which is another
great reason two hundred and forty nine dollars for this device.
And what's great is you can just add things to it.
(03:17):
So if I wanted to get another camera, say to
put by the garage, I could just add to it
and it all is rechargeable, very very easy to operate
if I can do it. And the last suggestion I
have for the man in your life as an outdoor speaker,
I've out found a call one at mighty eight three
hundred and ninety nine dollars. When I told Sam about this,
he said he couldn't get one with all the bells
and whistles and all the flashing lights. Trust me, it's
(03:39):
a hit with the kids, and most of them do
look a little bit whiz bang because it's you know,
if you're hosting a party, you do want a little
bit of light show. At the same time. The good
thing is these are splash proof, and if you're someone
that coaches any sport, you can take it down to
the courts and shoot some hopes to some tunes. So
that is my guide for the men in your life.
(04:00):
Keep listening to my other podcasts because I've got one
up at the moment for under forty dollars. I've got
a wife and partner. I'm gonna have Secret Center suggestions
and experiences.
