Phoenix GM David Dome on getting sponsorship for the phoenix women's team at last

After about two months without a sponsor, the Phoenix women have secured one at the eleventh hour.
A deal fell over just last week, and the team were starring down the barrel of playing their first game tomorrow without a main sponsor.
Today it was announced team finally have not one sponsor but two.
They are New Zealand Campus of Innovation and Sport (NZCIS) - which is has signed on as the principal partner and Comrad Medical Systems has also stepped to become a premium partner.
General Manager David Dome says it's taught him just how hard it is to get support for women's sport.
"A lot of people pay lip service to gender equality and wanting but when push comes to shove very few people come through, and we're lucky today," he told Nick Mills.
