The Wellington City Council is developing a Green Network Plan, which would see trees and green space in the city increase over the next 30 years. 
It has released the plan and is discussing it at a council meeting this week. 
The Council has approved $30 million for the acquisition and development of centralcity parks and to enable more street tree planting and parks in the Central City.
